here are other democrats sounding the alarm on the border crisis. >> kind of. rachel: kind of, yeah. fair enough. >> and we know that the influx on wednesday will beincredible. it will be huge, talking to our federal partners. they believe on wednesday our numbers will go from 2500 to 4, 5, maybe 6,000. and when i asked him, i said do you believe that you guys can handle it today. the answer was no when i got an answer of no, that meant we needed to do something and do something right away. >> this is a national problem and a national government has a responsibility to resolve the issues at the border, to make the municipalities whole who had to take away from their citizens. >> the fact is, what we've got right now is not working and it's about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership and i'm saying that as a democrat. rachel: can i give you guys a visual of what's actually happening with all these
6:05 am
complaints. i'm going to use your cup here. this is what they're doing. they want the federal government to put money into their cities. they don't care about the fact that the border's open. this emergency for newsom, for mayor adams, even for the mayor of he'll el paso is i know thera problem, just give us money we'll help you move the people through quicker so you don't have to cool with it. deal with it.>> it's not a decn emergency or a problem in search of a solution, president trump tried to do that, the borders was getting more secure. it's breaking records because they have a new policy to have an open border. gavin newsom is not talking about changing that. neither is eric adams. they're simply saying we need more money more quickly to facilitate them away from the there and house them here in new york, house them in california, because we're sanctuary cities. we just need the rooms to house the illegals.
6:06 am
they're not trying to change it. they're living with it. >> title 42 is not a real solution to the crisis at the border either. it is a temporary fix that was tied to the pandemic. what we really need is a long-term permanent solution to the crisis at the southern border. now let's move to this, let's bring in lieutenant governor winsome sears with us this morning on fox and friends. we want to talk to you because your state has become the latest to ban tiktok on state issued devices. you know, pete and i went off the wall yesterday, explaining tiktok. i think for a lot of people out there i it still flies under the radar. why is this social media app so dangerous? >> it's very dangerous and by the way, thank you for having me. merry christmas. p happy hanukkah. the reason is, this is a national security risk and it's also very much a personal security risk. i mean, you've got an app by the communist chinese party that is

able to track your key stroke patterns. think about that. and it's able to see your ip addresses, it's able to know everything about you. why would we want the chinese government to have that ability and by the way, for the younger people, this app is very much a addictive and the chinese version believe it or not advises to stop every 90 minutes, get off, go do something. the u.s. version doesn't do that. we've got to bring common sense back. rachel: i love your last comments there because you're a lieutenant governor but you're also a mom and so am i and one of the things that i find most troubling about tiktok is that if you look at the tiktok version in china, they're pushing out a lot more educational content, how to draw things, how to do -- and ours iisjust pure debauchery.

anyway, throw them had in the snow. let's do things that are healthy. you just said the chinese, they're learning. what are we doing? we're watching people lie to us and tell us we can't be like them and they're making money off of it. god forbid that should happen. common sense. >> you're exactly right. you mentioned your service in the marines. we thank you for had that. it's a central part of who you are and why people respect the point of view you take on so many issues. thankfully it looks like the vaccine mandate will be removed from the military. however, it's not going to be retroactive to people who were pushed out. s here's a former coast guard petty officer who was on our program earlier who talked about what happened to him and i want to get you to react. listen. >> i was discharged on december 1st of this year, exactly 19 years of service with an approved retirement all during the covid vaccine mandate. there was never a time that i wasn't at work.

when people come, they say they've tried lots of diets, nothing's worked or they've lost the same 10, 20, 50 pounds over and over again. they need a real solution. i've always fought with 5-10 pounds all the time. eating all these different things and nothing's ever working. i've done the diets, all the diets. before golo, i was barely eating but the weight wasn't going anywhere. the secret to losing weight and keeping it off is managing insulin and glucose. golo takes a systematic approach to eating that focuses on optimizing insulin levels. we tackle the cause of weight gain, not just the symptom. when you have good metabolic health, weight loss is easy. i always thought it would be so difficult to lose weight, but with golo, it wasn't. the weight just fell off. i have people come up to me all the time and ask me, "does it really work?" and all i have to say is, "here i am. it works." my advice for everyone is to go with golo. it will release your fat and it will release you.
