suppression eliminates the advantage even though we have scientific evidence out there now that this is not fair to women appear they are very much advocating for the inclusion of the transgender athlete level. so basically women need to like, we know it is not fair to you, but we will do the holistic approach of you need to accept this into women's sports. and even worse, when it comes to the grassroots level of our young athletes, we should wholeheartedly embrace having transgender athletes racing with the young women. and yet, despite this, there is multiple, multiple studies that show young women have not given a sex separated sport because of the advantage of being more male. and they end up walking away from the sport. and this is really troublesome

and problematic because this is where all of our future athletes come from is from the grassroots. so, if you are suppressing all of the development of our next generation and not advocating for this grassroots, what do you think you are elite athletes eventually come from? like when i was young, we have no categories for women. so, we did kind of get heat up by the male athletes. >> todd: let me just get in here for a second. to that point as a parent of two little girls come i don't know if they will attain superstar status, but what can i do to mag on a level playing field going forward? >> at this point, the way that it looks is that a lot of sporting organizations followed the need of the ioc. thankfully at the grassroots level, you can advocate at your school level, at the state

level, to try to keep fairness for these young girls. you know, now they are taking into account like, you know, contact sports and these young athletes are being heard. we see again and again in multiple sports whether power of the male ends up entering the female spirit and you wonder why the girls don't stick around. so as a parent come i think the parents need to get together and really push for the quality of these girls. i'm discouraged. it is heartbreaking. when i read through this paper, i was looking for acknowledgment of the sex separated rights of women. and this whole thing reads like a -- here they are looking at this and say again, we want you women to work with advocacy
