dismay, remember, christ our savior was born on christmas day. an important message that represents the entire meaning of christmas but this season is a time to celebrate christ and all that he stands for. but one church in england decided to erase hundreds of years of holiday tradition by rewriting the lyrics to the song. all saints with holy trinity church in britain decided that they needed to make the song more inclusive. so, the church added two new verses to the carol, with the first saying god rest you also women who by men have ben erased ♪ through history ignored and scorned, defiled and displaced. and the second reading: god rest you queer and questioning, your anxious hearts be still.

christ has been entirely removed from the christmas season. we went out to the streets this week to see if people even knew what christmas was all about. >> where was jesus born? >> in the hospital? even worse is a majority of americans no longer belong to a church either. this trend was accelerated by the pandemic as church attendance plummeted by 45% curing the lockdowns our pledge says one nation under god. our money says we trust god and our presidents are sworn in on a bible. faith and freedom go hand in hand in america. so this drop in believers is a threat to our national identity. when we lose our faith. we lose our morals. look at what is happening to our cities. shoplifting, crime, violence, all running wild in our streets. want to go christmas shopping? you better bring a shield. ♪

>> judge jeanine: a nation without faith is a nation certaining for identity. our religious beliefs are important, especially during the christmas season. we need remind people why we celebrate christmas. and it starts by protecting our christmas carols. let's turn to rachel campos duffy, co-host of "fox & friends weekend." hi, rachel, how are you? >> merry christmas, judge. >> judge jeanine: all right. what do you attribute this -- the devolution of the morals of this country not just in terms of religion and church attendance but the morals, the feeling that crime isn't going to be punished so why not commit a crime? >> yeah, i mean, this is such a deep topic. it's so interesting that you're covering it at the top of your show. i think it's really appropriate. you know, we can talk about

church attendance. a lot of our church leaders are responsible for that. they agree to follow the orders of our government during the pandemic and basically told the flock that church and spiritual life is nonessential that they, pastors, and ministers and priests are not essential and meanwhile as you know strip clubs and cannabis shops were open and liquor stores were open and our churches were closed so we sent a teenager message. especially to our children. i think about that christmas carol that, you know, they are changing that beautiful 17th century christmas carol, god rest ye merry gentlemen and the way that they are changing that. and it speaks to a narcissism, of course, that, you know, we have nothing to bring -- the past has nothing to teach us. that everything starts with us. >> sounds so much like our, you know, social media, instagram culture that we live. in and, of course, judge, all these traditions that you and i are talking about that is are so

important, the faith and the morals are passed on through families that is another institution under attack. i think if we could start with our families, just our own family and brings that making sure our children know that and making sure we take our children to church and teaching them how important it is to take that time out of our lives to get dressed and get ready, no matter how many kids we have and how hard it is to get ready and get out the doorly did about all the things you talk about the crime and so forth and the moral did degradation but it becomes a lot more simple when we just bring it counsel to our own family, our own kids. >> judge jeanine: do you know what is interesting, rachel, tradition plays such a big part in all of our families, whether it's a subculture of your ethnic identity or whether it's the religion. i mean, tradition is important

so that we know who we are and from whence we have come. it's almost like the sensibilities generations and this woke culture that is so religion seems to have the upper hand these days. >> communism, socialism, atheistic ideologies, they feel their control, their power is threatened by the family and by the church and so i think it's really important that we talk about it so people understand that they are not imagining these forces that are trying to separate their children from their be family and faith. these are real forces that are happening. we are in a spiritual battle. only way to win this battle, judge jeanine is for us to take control of our own families. of course, the public square matters. we need good politicians, we

this is the smuggling and ultimately the death of americans through fentanyl. yeah, judge. thank you for having me. talk about the cartel dispatching their operatives in america that are going right over the open border and they are going to cities like the crossroads of america, indiana. they had a major press announcement yesterday, judge. they were bringing in large amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl using railcars from mexico but when they took down the case, nine out of the 12 were illegals from mexico and central america. that's because they are running over the border. then if you look at atlanta, for example d.e.a. m meth conversion labs all over the place. most recently hit a lab that was active making rainbow colored meth. so we haven't seen that and then cbp, or border patrol, i can't remember like last week hit

michelle obama trails from the left. we don't expect this from republicans and it's about time we send that message loud and clear. >> judge jeanine: do you know what, charlie, when you talk about mitch mcconnell, you know, he has been there for many, many years. and the truth is that when it comes to really fighting, you have got to give him credit for the judges. got those supreme court justices, federal judges he didn't have to roll over so quickly to get this done. with what is happening in ukraine, shouldn't there be oversight over this money? do we really know where that money is going in ukraine? >> no, how about an audit of those funds? i mean, senator josh hawley told me on my podcast that we are now doing direct wire transfers to the ukrainian treasury. that's a big revelation. maybe we should start to look into that. not to mention the question of does our own territorial integrity and sovereignty as a nation matter more than that of a foreign country? couple things about omnibus bill. none of this money could be used

at a record $250 million. just compare that to bernie madoff's bail which was only $10 million after his $50 billion ponzi scheme blew up. bankman-fried just two weeks ago said he was poor. he only had $100,000 in his bank account but somehow he was able to buy his way to short-term freedom where he will be staying with his parents until his next court date. but he shouldn't get too comfortable. of the crypto scam artist is facing eight criminal charges that can put him away for over 150 years. and former executives from ftx are already flipping on him like his exgirlfriend caroline ellison just last night pled guilty to the charges that could put her away for up to 110 years. she is cooperating with the feds to help them incriminate sam bankman-fried. so, is luck running out for the democrats' second largest donor?

let's bring in "new york post" business reporter lydia moynahan for more. all right, lydia, what can you tell us new about this? >> sam bankman-fried is still living a pretty good life. he actually flew private from the bahamas to west chester and then today he was let out on $250 million bail. as you mentioned, just a few weeks ago he said he only had $100,000 to his name. so, how did he possibly come up with all of that collateral? either he was lying when he said he only had $100,000. maybe he transferred funds that we don't know about to another trust. his parents cosigned that, their palo alto home as collateral. then there was a third person who signed as well. >> judge jeanine: i saw that. >> non-disclosed nonfamily member which raises a lot of red flags. who is this person? were they previously paid off by sam bankman-fried. we don't have any visibility. >> judge jeanine: there is 25 million they have to post on $250 million bond they usually put down 10%.

>> but they have to have that collateral. >> judge jeanine: yes, the 25. >> where does that come from? it seems clear that all the money he had at some point was sort of funneled illegally from customer deposits. >> judge jeanine: what about the fact that his ex-girlfriend is turning on him? >> i think it makes a lot of sense. and this is why they were able to move so quickly, actually arresting him. typically these white collar crimes can take months, if not years, to bring somebody to justice. and so, clearly, the feds had people who they were working with. caroline ellison, as you mentioned, she had a lot of visibility into what was happening at al made that. ftx was basically the bank where people would deposit their savings in some cases. teachers pensions, retirements and what was happening was funds from ftx funneled to alameda hedge fund like instrument. caroline ellison ran alameda. talk about a bad break off.

imagine your ex turning on you. very clear she was threatened with more than 100 years in jail. wanted to reduce that sentence and so she is cooperating with the feds. you know, another thing i want to touch on this bail is pretty lenient. he is going to take the g -- the gulf stream back to palo alto to be with his family for christmas. they have a pool. he is allowed to go out, exercise, go to mental health appointments and i think there's a lot of anger because it's unlikely he will ever be able to provide restitution to people who have lost so much money and, yet, the taxpayers are still basically footing the bill for him to fly around. >> judge jeanine: the interesting thing about this with ponzi and madoff he took investor's money and gave it to other investors. in this scheme what sam bankman-fried did was he took the money. he gave it to alameda his girlfriend and used that money to buy homes and lavish lifestyle. >> fabulous real estate in the bahamas. >> got to be things that they

winter weather advisories, continuing into the holiday weekend, right? this is the live radar. what's going on right now. can you spot the front? >> pretty easy to sue, southern indiana, moving through kentucky and tennessee right now. up ahead of this, we've got rain across ohio, kentucky, tennessee. behind it, the arctic air and the snow. here's the problem with that, iowa, kentucky, tennessee, you start with the rain. flash freeze. then a layer of ice. snow on top of it. making it harder for the ice to see, creating treacherous conditions tonight. for the northeast, it's a similar deal, especially with new york city. we had rain all day long. if you live here, you know that. you are going to get a bid of this rain heading into friday as well in the big apple. of course we're also going to be going through the flash freeze. that could lead to black ice friday night heading into crimes eve. black ice is extremely thin ice that makes it difficult to spot. that could lead to treacherous conditions on the roads. the great lakes are going to be
