tv Hannity FOX News December 23, 2022 11:00pm-12:00am PST
11:00 pm
a historic national park this christmas on fox news channel. >> that's it for us . we could, of course, go on forever, but time has limits. we'll be back. it's friday. we will see you next week. have the happiest weekend with the ones you love. shielded, we hope, from the insanity in the embrace of the people. mataji, we'll see you soon. welcome to this special edition of "hannity". i'm tammy bruce. and for sharon tonight, joe biden apparently wants you to forget about his agenda's major failures. and want you to forget about his relentless smears against republicans and instead wants us to just all get along this christmas season. watch this. >> so my hope this christmas season is that we take a few moments of quiet reflection, find that stillness in
11:01 pm
the heart of christmas. it's at the heart of christmas. and look really look at each other, not just democrats and republicans, not as members of team red or team blue , but that's who we really are. fellow americans, fellow human beings, worthy of being treated with dignity and respect. i sincerely hope this holiday, this holiday season will drain the poison that has infected our politics and set us against one another. i hope this christmas season marks a fresh start for our nation. >> and to think i thought i was a semi fascist who knew? but mr. unity has been singing a much different tune throughout his presidency, calling republicans threats to democracy, comparing them to segregationists and claiming they hate science. >> here's just a small sample. watch this. donald trump, the maiga republicans represent an extremism that threatens
11:02 pm
the very foundations of our republic. trump in the extreme measure, republicans have made their choice to go backwards, full of anger, violence, hate and division. >> jim crow to about two insidious things voter suppression and election subversion. do you want to be the side, a side of dr. king or george wallace? do you want me to side with john lewis or bull connor on the side of abraham lincoln? or jefferson davis? >> we can and we will turn the tide and covid-19 will take a lot of hard work. it's going to take some time. >> many of us are frustrated with the nearly 80 million americans who are still not vaccinated. >> well, are you feeling the unity yet? and rather than take any accountability for the administration's self-inflicted crises, the vice
11:03 pm
president says it's really the media that's to blame for not covering all of her successes, telling "the washington post", quote, there are things that i've done as vice president that fully demonstrate the strength of my leadership as vice president that if not received the kind of coverage that i think the dobbs decision did receive, really, it sounds like somebody told her that right? the left wing adoring media is to blame. now, check out this hard hitting interview biden did this week with drew barrymore. >> chills favorite room in the house. do you know what it is ? actually , i don't think is in the house. it's on the house. the truman balcony. i think outside looks over the no. mr. president , can i just tell you, my daughter's pulled me aside the other day and they said, could you stop talking to people as much if you're going to ? because we understand it's important to you. could edit and keep it shorter.
11:04 pm
>> i've been told that my whole life so much i like i want to have my daughters or you father self-portrait. >> and if you said it to me, i meant so did on our. >> are you kidding me? yeah, of course. joining us now are fox news contributors joe concha and charlie hurt. gentlemen, i don't know if you just been laughing really hard there because that was just so enjoyable and really believable or really that it's it it strikes even more , joe , at the legitimacy of the government in that this is what you would expect to see from state television and americans. we don't like it. there's serious issues in this country. we want leadership. and yet there he is with drew barrymore, who i think is probably a lovely woman. i'm glad she got through a difficult childhood in that
11:05 pm
she's a contributing to the american tax base here. but what do you what do you think about this kind of approach she's having now on the holiday? >> well, i'm with you, drew barrymore. we all loved it. came out forty years ago, just age ourselves completely. but people should understand that since the midterms, tami, that what you just played is literally the only sit down television interview that the president of the united states has done to this point. isn't that incredible that joe biden, after the midterms, does one interview not with 60 minutes, not with bret bair and not with the few legitimate journalists that would actually ask him good, solid questions. but he goes a drew barrymore instead. and what that tells you is that his handlers are petrified to put him in front of anybody who will ask him about, for instance, the u.s. southern border and the catastrophe that's going on down there. nearly five million people entering this country. there are twenty seven us states that have a lower population and five million
11:06 pm
a lower population than the number of people who have come in the first two years of this presidency. bottom line, tammy, this is a president when it comes to the press who does exactly what his handlers tell him. he takes orders. he doesn't make orders. the question is right. >> who's making the orders to him? you know, excellent points. and charlie, at the same time, we've we've found that about six percent of the american people have no real grasp of how serious the border situation is . maybe this strategy is working for them. maybe this happy talk. everything's fine. i'm we won the election on this. i'm the unifier. is this a thing that they should be doing? because it seems to be working at this point? oh, i think politically it it definitely is . working and it works as long as you have the media behind you ignoring a crisis, the likes of which we see at the border, which is entirely
11:07 pm
been manufactured by this man, by this man alone, his predecessor, donald trump, solved the immediate crisis of the flow, didn't didn't solve all the problems of immigration in this country, but solved the immediate problem of the flow of illegals coming into the into the country. and this man and that man alone right there on screen unilaterally decided to undo all of the policies of the previous administration and hand the entire border over to traffickers and drug lords and he's permanent human traffickers. he's perfectly content with that. that's what he wanted and that's what he got. and the media is perfectly happy to to sort of cover for him. but, you know, and , you know, joe biden is not only infinitely more divisive than his predecessor, i think that we've never had a president in history as divisive as this man. we've never had a president in history who called half the country semi fascist or
11:08 pm
accused half the country of being bull connor or jim or supporting jim crow laws. this is insane. and now that after his administration lied going into the last election, claiming that a million jobs have been created and actually only ten thousand jobs had been created ,and he's now going to blame voters, blame citizens, the people he supposedly works for who have decided not to get vaccinated or boosted and blaming them for his failures, his economic failures . it's just it it's beyond the pale and it is just beyond comprehension is certainly this is the same guy that stood in front of the federal hall in pennsylvania with the blood red background. and why i'm wondering at this point, since he was so comfortable doing that leading up to an election and it wasn't just calling republicans names this was about whoever voted for trump were white supremacists.
11:09 pm
were the fascists and all of that. so it was it was half of this country that he was smearing beyond republicans. why is he shifting right now? why is he pretending that he is once again the great unifier? >> what does this say to you? i don't think, tammy, he's shifting at all. i think his handlers are shifting the message, perhaps. and then he goes out there. you've seen anchorman, right? whatever you put it in the teleprompter, burgundy will read whatever you hand this president to read . he will . why are they doing it? making why are they doing it? what is the strategy? in all seriousness, what are they are they getting worried? i'm wondering if they're looking at the nature of what's happening with confidence and legitimacy. if they're thinking they went too far . >> is that possible? no, i don't think so. i think it's just a spur of the moment type of thing. we're standing where we're near the holidays, so you send out the the unifying message during the holidays.
11:10 pm
but to charlie's point, before the white house stood today behind calling the georgia law jim crow 2.0, this is what this white house does. they'll tell you it's eighty five degrees out right now in chicago, pittsburgh or here in jersey. and do so with a straight face. you can present indisputable facts like there was record voter turnout in two straight georgia elections since they change that voting law. and they'll tell you, no, no, no, it's still suppression going on in georgia. it's hard to vote, is swimming across the atlantic ocean and instead the media standing up and doing their job and saying this isn't only misleading, it's an intentional lie. they just shrug along with it as if they're in tacit agreement what this white house is . gentlemen, thank you very much. joe concha, charlie hurt, i appreciate you joining us tonight. it is perplexing, isn't it? everyone now as congress rams through the disastrous one point seven trillion dollar omnibus spending bill , we're learning more about the egregious, how egregious the spending really is . for example, it includes millions for gender equity
11:11 pm
and climate initiatives, hundreds of millions guys, but little for securing our southern border. even as the crisis rages on . but the government's reckless spending goes way beyond the omnibus, as senator rand paul today unveiled his annual festivus airing of the grievances detailing numerous examples of wasteful spending. for example, according to paul ,the nih spent two point three million dollars. and i just i just want you to be prepared for this injecting puppis with cocaine. i know there's some evil element to that, isn't there? but it doesn't stop there. the senator also says that over 30 million dollars of covid relief funds were used to buy luxury cars. and paul added, quote, ask yourself if the leadership of both parties is all that much different on spending or endless wars from bloated bureaucracy to ukraine. foreign aid to not funding our border security. it's hard to tell
11:12 pm
the difference. but just like i've been saying once again, it's washington versus the rest of us where the interests of hard working americans take a backseat to the special interests of a swamp. now, here for reaction, former republican senator scott brown , along with the founder of the committee to unleash prosperity, steve moore, and executive director of the heritage foundation, jessica anderson. thank you all for joining me tonight. i think that rand might be being a little coy in asking the question if there's any real difference. steve moore, between the parties. i mean, there is a unit party. there is an interest in the mentality and the cultural sentiment of washington. would you agree that, in fact, i sense that this argument between conservatives and republicans is really just part of the theater, that there's one interest and that is growing. government, which requires, of course, a growing contempt for the american people. great to be with you, tammy.
11:13 pm
merry christmas. i just want to correct you on one thing you said when you said there is not money for border border enforcement. actually , there is money for border enforcement. hundreds of millions of dollars. it's just not to protect our border. this stuff. so it's almost it's almost laughable to waste in this budget. and my my friends, that heritage of just literally scores and scores of pages of these programs. i think this is a total political disaster for the republicans, tammy, because they're in on this. i've been on this show many times blaming, you know, nancy pelosi and chuck schumer and biden for their overspending. and they did. they overspent by four trillion dollars. but this is one that is a bipartisan heist where you had more than two dozen republican senators vote with the democrats to pass this. and the reason they did, tammy, is they wanted the pork barrel spending for their districts. you know, and a great reference here to the heritage foundation. so let's go to jessica here for
11:14 pm
a second, because this is not new for the american people. this is they said we'd get back to normal. this is exactly normal, right? this kind of spending. this is how obamacare was passed. i understand the republicans don't necessarily vote for something or they vote to get it out of committee, but then i'll vote against it and of course, that wasn't the case with the omnibus. when it comes to the senate, the senate knew , though, that the republicans would have the house next year. they didn't seem to care about that. what do you think, jessica? this means when it comes to what the agenda of the republicans are and what the next two years is going to look like? well, the entire process that actually put together this deal has been completely fractured and is and is representative of how broken washington is . so many people in backrooms throughout the last six months were writing this bill . but you know who wasn't looking at it? the american people rank and file members of congress. we only had less than two days to read to understand what was in it and then to pass it. and so the process is a
11:15 pm
problem. but then, as steve mentioned, the actual policy needs that are in this package is a huge problem for the american people. over 70 hundred individual earmarks totaling over 15 billion for the american taxpayer are jam packed into this omnibus bill . and so what does that mean for us ? it means that our taxpayer dollars are going to fund lgbtq centers in new york and l.a. climate initiative, non gender conforming houses, housing projects, a michelle obama hiking trail for three and a half million dollars in georgia. that is not what our american tax dollars should be going for. and it's a shame that congress jam this through right before christmas scott. scott brown , it we don't i suppose if a town wants a a and museum, that's great. then have that town fund that right. do it. go fund me as far as i'm concerned. right now, we've got americans doing two and three gig kind of jobs to pay the rent and to
11:16 pm
taking a secondary job so that they can get enough gas to be able to go to their normal job. and we see this this vomitus spending of tax dollars that we also don't have is this it almost seems like a deliberate there's a word i want to use, but i can't say it's television . it's like a big foam finger hand to the american people in a way because of that, we vote sometimes against their wishes. what is feeding this this mania in washington? >> well, first of all, i obviously was there. i saw it firsthand. it's it's not new . it's not a surprise. remember, senator bunning had the very same type of documentation that rand paul put out about the tremendous waste. and before we asked the taxpayers for more money, we should get rid of the fraud ,waste and abuse and all these stupid little things that we read about. we just kind of scratch your head, go what?
11:17 pm
shooting cocaine into puppies? you can't. it's insane. say that seems like that seems that seems criminal to me being an animal lover. but more importantly, what it really shows me is that mitch mcconnell doesn't have a whole lot of faith in obviously, i don't think he's going to get it. but mccarthy because had they just did a short term continuing resolution, they would have had a better shot to get a better budget. so it shows me that mcconnell is more likely is feels better to work with schumer and the liberal democrats than work with his own party. and that's very sad because the the american people sent the house members to get a handle on our fiscal responsibility issues. because we the inflation is out of control. the heating oil still out of control. i mean, i went to today again to get some eggs bacardi to like six months ago goes five eighty nine . and people in there in washington just continuing to spend and spend and spend. so listen, people need to get involved enough. are we done already with this
11:18 pm
stuff? and this is like the last christmas, as you said, you know what finger saying? you know what? hey, we're here. too bad. yes. go in and just kind of live your boring lives and , you know, come on , we need to stand up and start work. >> this is the fight for getting there, forgetting what got this country trump. this is exactly the behavior. and it's as though now they're standing on the hill saying, we won, we've got you and we've got him. and look, we're now going to do this again at this. the american people are going to they're going to vote other people in and we all have an interest in the stability of this country. and this just doesn't seem to be the way to do it. scott, stephen , jessica, thank you for joining us tonight. appreciate it. now, coming up, will the koven insanity ever end? you won't believe what one celebrity said, and we will tell you when this special edition of "hannity" continues
11:19 pm
. how does he deliver so much in a single night? brady touchdown is the redskins disempowers goodness. will he come through again this christmas? but come sunday night football on nbc in peacock, now 83 , installs nest devices from googolplex security cameras, night vision. they can distinguish between people, packages and pets. if your neighbor's dog escapes, you can get him home safe . mr. pickles, what are you doing here? >> your goal to be your best

11:21 pm
and i started feeling better because i had more energy. i think, of course, as a nutritionist, it's best to get all you can from your diet. but it wasn't till i started taking balance of nature that i started noticing a difference. so that's when i thought, okay, there's something about balance of nature that i need to tell the world about. >> so here i am as a special holiday offer. get twenty five dollars off, plus a free fiber and spice with your first preferred order use discount code. >> fox news is the season for giving gary sinise talks his mission to support our troops. plus not where it counts.
11:23 pm
just say now nearly three years after the crippling covid lockdown, some celebrities are actually seeing the light and calling out the hateful division fueled by those who supported draconian covid mandates. here as an example, is actor tim robbins talking to russell brand. >> watch this. i was asking everyone i was keeping a social distance. >> i was adhering to the the the requests made of me. and i felt, you know, angry at people. it didn't. we turned into tribal, angry, vengeful people. and i i don't think that's something that is sustainable for the earth that we start
11:24 pm
demonizing people that don't agree with our particular health policies and turned them into monsters, turned them into pariahs, say that they don't deserve hospita back . >> it turned into you should die because you have not complied. yeah, excellent. bravo. so, of course, tim robbins is still just one of a few, to be honest about the covid madness. as actor sean penn says that anyone who is unvaccinated is a criminal who should not leave their homes. but the lunacy does not stop there. just look at this bizarre message from canada's chief public health official. who just got let go of her covid obsession and made a video with mrs. claus. take look, it's been a tough season with lots of viruses making people sick.
11:25 pm
>> thankfully, sanjay and i are feeling as healthy as ever. we are both up to date with vaccinations, including covid booster's and flu shots. >> that's so good to hear. >> i always tell santa to make a list, check it twice. one , stay up to date on your vaccinations. to wear a mask and crowded indoor places and make sure it fits nice and snug. >> wow. who knew that north korea was in charge of all television? i mean, come on , and out in china, never ending covid lockdown's and brutal crackdowns didn't work at all in the long term as hundreds of millions reportedly caught the virus in december alone. here for reaction, fox news medical contributors dr. janet qwant and dr. marty makary, along with tagg's strategies, vice president aaron perini. doctors, thank you. and thanks for being here with me. dr. marty, let me start with you.
11:26 pm
here, because we've got we've always wondered if the numbers we were hearing out of china were accurate. there's no reason to believe that they're telling the truth . they tend to not not to do that, but that would confirm that lockdowns and all of these other things that the world replicated does not work. we've seen around the world that don't work and that you see what's going on with within canada, almost cultic in the nature of the videos there are still this weird obsession for no good reason. do you think this is going to end at any point? and what what purpose is this serving? do you think, sir? >> well, in china, many of the lockdowns where human rights violations, they were just downright cruel. but the little time they bought with them, they did not use wisely. and now they have a more vulnerable population and they're having a tough time. there's expectations that a million chinese people could die in the next few weeks. and i talked to one doctor in beijing who said about 50% of the city is infected with covid . so it's a bit of deja vu of
11:27 pm
wuhan right now. and there's massive under-report. we know that from the doctors i've spoken to , a concern is that a new variant could emerge out of this dense epidemic that they're dealing with . so, i mean, that's the scary thing, dr. geonet. i mean, we've got what the most dangerous thing is , what we don't know. so we are prepared. we know how to deal with with the covid that we know. but beyond covid is what's out there now. what is happening in china? are you concerned about what again, what we don't know and what could be moving across to us now or are we just all inculcated with the fear that isn't reasonable at this point? >> hey, happy holidays. >> me to everyone else. i don't think we should be fearful. i agree with dr. buckcherry that there could be more variants emerging. but you know what? this is now year three into this pandemic. we know how to deal with it here in the united states . we've learned our lessons when it comes to mandates, vaccines, masking, social distancing, that sort of thing. we understand how to protect yourself.
11:28 pm
we understand who are the highest risk groups. it's the senior citizens, those with underlying medical conditions. it's not the children who are low risk. we understand we now have tools how to treat this virus that we didn't have three years. so i think at this point we need to stop the fear mongering and understand, know your risk, take the steps to protect yourself, be aware if you're unsure, speak to your doctor , make sure you're getting information from a credible source, and then let's start the new year without the mandates. but with the tools that we have to treat the diseases that we see circulating and i want to point out that the world does not revolve around covid i have diagnosed, for example, today more cases of influenza than rsv than i have covid. so we need to look at all the viruses, all the diseases, and not just be focused and fanatical. >> a simply with covid and that's a great point. and just to follow up with that, arendelle, i'll go to you. is that the reaction to covid in some fashion? i think doctors you would agree with me has created this these new opportunistic dynamics like
11:29 pm
rsv, because kids and people were isolated from each other. another reason to not change our lives and to not react in a hysterical way, erin, do you see this being recognized at least politically? at this point when it comes to lock downs and an outrageous reactions? unfortunately, the political rhetoric on this has been slow to catch up to the science on this. we now have an entire generation of the american youth who are behind in school and who are more susceptible because they were forced into these lockdowns being a low risk population. we saw extreme political government and entertainment based rhetoric to increase fear relative to covid. and that continues to this day. the science should lead the day ,not the politics. and unfortunately, when you put politics before science, you're going to get politics that absolutely distorts reality. the american people, much to the doctor's points, need to go to credible sources. sean penn is not a credible
11:30 pm
source when it comes to covid. yeah, that's a very, very good point, dr. macquarrie. and this, i think, speaks to the the legitimacy of the medical profession. of science, that when you see that video that comes out of canada, it creates even more anxiety about the seriousness of the medical profession and our experts. we should be able to rely on them. do you think we're going to be able to recover, considering what governments across the in the western world did in destroying trust? now we've even got people hesitant at the normal vaccines that are required for children. do you think we can recover from this? >> i think it's going to take some new leadership and some humility when we as doctors make a mistake. i can tell you at the bedside, if you're honest and forthright and you show some humility, people can be very forgiving. but we don't see that humility. and i think this continued fear mongering is not helping your right. even the flu shot rates were
11:31 pm
way down this year. we had a bad flu season. that's because trust has and damaged. >> and dr. jonette, when we think about masks, we now have had a white house individual from the medical dynamic admit that there's been no real testing or data that confirms the efficacy of masks. you know, there is been we've been slowly kind of admitting what we've gotten wrong. is this a sign that i think there's a realization that we will never go to lockdown's again? >> would you agree in that regard? oh, absolutely. you know, it makes sense at the beginning of the pandemic when we knew very little to institute these mitigation measures. but as the pandemic progressed, we learned we gathered more information. we saw what worked, what didn't work. so moving forward, we need to take that information and modify our policies and our protocols. but already on science, i hate to interrupt you, but already we've got schools going back to masks in various cities. it's wrong, especially
11:32 pm
with children, especially when it comes to children. you know, the policies that we have previously harmed our children more than any cohort of this population, mentally, emotionally, their education lacked, their anxiety or depression increased. they need to see their teachers smile and expression from their classmates. and it's our policy that we're meant to be for those who are older with underlying medical conditions. right. inflicted upon these children, causing more harm than good. so let's learn from lessons moving forward. well, we've got to . and with your voices, we will , i think, do a lot better. all right. thank you all very much for joining me now. thank you. straight ahead, the left's awoke agenda is now invading every aspect of american life. dr. ben carson explains. plus, douglas reacts as this special edition of "hannity" continues. many holocaust survivors are impoverished and suffering today. >> in their final years at this holocaust museum, in israel,

recipient and former hud secretary ben carson from a public high school because he's a republican . and dr. ben carson joins me right now. he is the founder and chairman of the american cornerstone institute. dr. carson, of course, this isn't your first round at the rodeo, is it? you've been right in the arena . you you know what the deal is . you continue to serve this nation and these are petty things. but when it comes to , as an example, conservatives on campus and the nature of i think you probably heard about stanford issuing this list of forbidden words and what it was meant for their i.t. group. and you couldn't say american because that would upset the rest of the countries in north america. it gets down to being kind of like a pathology or a pathological obsession. what is your take on our direction here these days? >> well, thank you, tammy,
11:39 pm
and merry christmas to you. you know, i talked the first time i spoke at the national prayer breakfast in 1997 about the fact that political correctness, if we continue along that pathway, was going to destroy our nation. it has continued to get worse. now it's morphed into welcomeness. and we have a situation on our college campuses where students are afraid to express themselves. conservative students are college, supposed to be a place where you explore and you have an opportunity to discuss certain things so that you can determine which way you're going. and basically what's happening is people are being shut down and it doesn't have to be the government that shuts down your freedom of speech. you know, big tech, social media, college professors can shut down your speech. and if the government is compliant with that, it's the same as if they're doing it. and we, the american people should be outraged about that. our our freedoms come from

god that stated in our declaration of independence. and yet we're allowing them to be taken away from us . and now we also have a government that is insinuating itself into every aspect of our lives. you know, liberty and community was about what people could do, not what the government could do and empower us tremendously . you look at the omnibus bill that was just passed and all the pork that's in there and all the progress. and , you know, these are not programs that the government is supposed to be doing. these are things that we the people are supposed to be doing and how we're supposed to be working together in our communities to strengthen ourselves and we're allowing all of that to be taken away from us . we don't most people don't even know their neighbors anymore. i don't even know what their names are. i have no idea who they are. all of these things are changing us from the dynamic and innovative people that we used to be. we had a system that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship
11:41 pm
. we most of the big inventions in the world came from the united states of america. but if everybody is thinking the same way as saying the same things, where's that out of the box thinking that's going to allow us to continue to be that beacon? >> well, it's i think that's part of the thing that the left wants to stop is that they resent america being a beacon. they don't think that's a good thing because we, of course, encourage human ingenuity and personal freedom and that is the problem for the left, because americans don't like the left in that regard. and you're an example, sir, of what they don't want to have be reflected as a as a role model and as as a potential career and this is where we start getting people irace. so thank you, dr. carson, for your perspective once again. and now here with more reaction is fox news contributor douglas murray, who writes about the growing hatred of american and european history and culture in his book war
11:42 pm
on the west. douglas , thanks for joining me. and perfect your series of books. of course, like cassandra warning about this, the trajectory that it's based in hatred for western civilization. and you do have that. you do have that accent. so you see it. of course, we know for england's in trouble with it in this regard. and we had this omnibus bill that actually funds the tens, hundreds of millions of dollars for equity. right. which is effectively the antithesis of quality. it's the government now promoting these dynamics. is there a way out of this and what can americans do to help get us out of this pit? that's right. in spite of my ex and i spend almost all my time in america these days. and that's because america is the absolute focus of the problem. i've often joked, but, you know, america used to be a net importer of bad ideas. it's become a net exporter of bad ideas. all this woke nonsense comes
11:43 pm
out of america. it goes everywhere else. canada, britain, europe, you name it. but what we've just seen ben carson very movingly a epitomizes, is that essentially what the left are trying to do is to change the facts. they try to change the facts about our history, trying to change the facts about america's founding fathers, about everyone from the beginning of america to the present day. and they're doing through this typically silly game, the language game right, obsessed with language. it doesn't matter if you call general mark milley miss or mook's or mrs. i'd quite like to see someone try. he's still a bloke, you know. it doesn't matter. it doesn't matter. this stupid list of words stanford has come up with , they say that these are these are words that could be troubling, like using the word american or saying immigrant instead of a person who has immigrated. that is a difference with no distinction.
11:44 pm
but they say all of these things, they come up with these things, they play these silly language games. and there's two problems from this. the first is , you play the language games, but you can't change reality. and the second thing is they're wasting our time. america in the 21st century should be discovering how to populate mars. living underwater cities go completer, you know, get our energy sorted out all sorts. instead, we're spending our time having to be bored by these ignoramuses telling us which words to use to agree . >> no, because we agree that that it's meaningless. but what it does do is it makes people unsure about what to think and makes them, as a result, fearful to even think on the ideas because it's too dangerous to speak about them. that it's part of it. it's yeah, that's that's right. that is the goal. douglas murray, great job. thank you, sir. appreciate it. now, we are monitoring a situation in minnesota.

11:50 pm
repeated. he swore and fumed with advisers over the intensifying crisis at the border, despite him later saying he had, quote, more important things to do than visit. meanwhile, nfl hall of famer brian urlacher visited the border yesterday to witness the worsening situation firsthand. he joins us now with more on what he saw. it's invaluable to be down there, sir. why exactly what did you expect to find and what happened when you were down there, sir? >> well, i originally went down there in september to check it out. what? lay my eyes on situation, see what was going on ? because i've been hearing so many things on the news, on fox. you see what's actually going on down there. but i wanted to go see for myself what was going on . and , you know, we talked to chief klym, who was the the director down there at the yuma sector of the border and the morale of the border patrol agents is so low because of the the stigmatism they get on the media, people saying that, doing this and doing that, and they're not doing anything but their jobs.
11:51 pm
what they can do, at least according to the policies, are in place right now. they can't protect the border because everyone can walk across. we literally saw six people walk across the border at 11 , 30 in the morning. and , you know, we hear so for the white house, a while back saying that they don't walk across, they do walk across. there's six guys walk across our border. i just met them, arrested them. they released the next day in the united states . just it's a crazy situation. it's a humanitarian crisis. what's going on down there? we saw the people in the in the tents, in the cages. and they're not cages, but they're they're buildings that their place until they're released in the united states or wherever their destination may be . >> you know, i just have to say, we know what the dynamic is with the illegal immigrants. but your point about the morale of those who are serving this country, law enforcement officers, the border protection officers, your presence there probably gave them a huge lift. and we have to remember that their sacrifice and we love them and appreciate them and i can't thank you enough. and i know americans appreciate what you do. also, sir, thanks for joining me. tonight, brian urlacher. now, meanwhile, arizona border
11:52 pm
officers, in fact, announced wednesday that they found more than seven hundred thousand fentanyl pills hidden in a train arriving from mexico. here with reaction, fox news contributor sara carter and arizona attorney general mark novick. attorney general, let me start with you, because we just heard this nfl legend. he's there. he's lifting their spirits. these border patrol officers find these pills that can murder, you know, entire cities. what what do you how would you describe to the american people now what the risk is and what's happening at the border? tammy, thank you for having me on . and , you know, following an nfl legend like brian urlacher, i can't help to think that soldier field just this past month, four times as many people to fit in soldier field have illegally entered our country in just one month. you mentioned the fentanyl, a record amount of fentanyl,
11:53 pm
enough fentanyl was seized just this last month to potentially kill the entire population of the united states . so americans are paying the cost not only in lives lost, but physically in places like yuma, arizona, there are tens of millions of dollars of un reimbursed health care costs . a majority of people entering this country illegally don't have health insurance and since the biden administration's failure, more than five million people have illegally entered our country, including about two thousand conaway's a day, and it's one of the reasons why i'm so proud to join my colleagues and lead the charge. the u.s. supreme court right now trying to keep title forty two in place because it's the only tool we have left in our toolbox to further stop this poisoning of america. thank god , literally, for your work and the work of other patriots who recognize that this is a partisan issue. this is a national security issue. sarah , it is . it's an issue where there seems to be some deliberateness to it that is literally at the core of every issue americans are facing now, life and death issues, future issues,
11:54 pm
the safety of their children, and with title forty two already this it's incentive eyes people moving to the border to take advantage of its failure. what do you what do you see happening? regardless of whether it's upheld or not at this point on the border? that's such a great point to me, because regardless, i mean, title forty two is important. but regardless, when the federal government in the biden administration refuses to implement the law that means tying the hands of our border patrol agents, not letting them do the work. brian was right. i mean, the morale is so low, the suicide rates have gone up in mccallan sector. that's a really important topic that they've been dealing with there. but when you talk about fentanyl, i want people to understand this. this is unrestricted warfare. our adversaries, like china and others are taking advantage of this border. this is a national security issue. and when you think of
11:55 pm
the amount of chemical precursors that enter into mexico, so that the cartels can make these pills and by the way, these are not just about overdose deaths, this is about poisoning. there are pills on our streets that look like adderall. i'll say it again, percocet, oxycontin. i hate to beat this down, but if you take a pill that is not prescribed for you, you could literally die. it will kill you. so don't do it. they are all over our streets. the chinese communist party knows that our government knows that. and the biden administration refuses to shut that off and our children are dying. that that is it's an existential issue. thank you both for the work you're doing. the american people must pay attention and know exactly what's happening. we will be right back . as we monitor that reported shooting at the mall of america in minnesota. stay right there. how does he deliver so much in a single night? pretty touchdown is the
