fence. u.s. forces expanding the perimeter after texas governor greg abbott adding more shipping containers to the border. arizona was using the same strategy until sued by the white house forcing the state to reverse course. texas national guard provided the following unit, "the 19th, 20th, 21st of december for large families and individuals wanting to come across. now it's almost a ghost town out there." here is that video with film illusion texas ranger 50 miles from the border sharing this via group of men and illegal immigrants attempting to break into her house, the patrol agents apprehended suspects and the owner said the suspects unable to reach the front door thinks of thousands of dollars of recently added security updates. here are photos by the u.s. border del rio sector saying less than 24 hours border patrol encountered four large groups with 1400 mike rounds calling

be realistic as to who these people are. things like chaotic situation. there should be a limit as to how many asylum-seekers we can accept. >> we should be the number one priority as to when it comes to safety. they are not thinking about that at all. this is a crisis, and they need to be real about it. >> common sense. >> joey: trumps "build the wall" campaign slogan, one thing he used to say that everyone dissected other than to criticize him is he would say, a big, beautiful wall with big gates. what he meant by that and what the policy should be is the purpose of the wall isn't to wall ourselves away not that anyone in this country but there are places to go to get into the country. there is a process to get into the country. had trump built his wall, the focus would be on congress because people wouldn't be able to get here so easily.

congress would have to get this, take a breath, do their job with the former immigration system in a way that would suffice the wants of the democrat side. obviously, bring more people in, and also, give home which to wear people, the border towns are that don't want people running into like we showed in the video, their own property trying to break in and doing things illegally. sometimes, things make so much sense and that's why they don't happen. >> griff: you are hearing from border members of congress like tony gonzalez. i spent a lot of time equal past. and this administration all they have to do is simply enforce the laws that are currently on the books. use things like remain in mexico. while they apply for asylum if they qualify for it, they will get it and into the u.s. peer that is not being done. the bottom line, joey, there are

london breed, gavin newsom, speaker pelosi and the small local family owned business and how can cities thrive? we are heartbroken and put so much into this location. we take good care to make it beautiful and serve food and do our best on every level. this is so sad. it happens over and over and nothing changes. please, san francisco and california leaders, do more to care for our city and small businesses. we deserve better. the communities deserve better. lawlessness and no consequences whether at the southern border for illegal immigrants exporting our country or for these criminals who get away with robbery. >> joey: you know, they call out in that post mayor london breed and the question is, did you vote for these people? any of these people that are running your state, did you vote for them? would you vote for them again? is this what you want? you are getting u.s. for putting these people in office but what point do you learn that is what

they will give you. maybe it is time to find someone different. other ideas may be. just something you were doing such a great job at connecting the crisis at the border with the crime in the country not because one causes the other but they both have the same cause and effect. the idea if you want safety and security, which both of those issues pivoted on, you need precautionary measures and consequences. those folks on tv that go to the border, el paso, el paso known to be one of the safe cities in texas right across the border from war as mexico one of the most dangerous places. why is that? safety and security and i don't know where el paso is now but i lived in texas almost ten years ago that that is how it was and can be and should be. no reason san francisco can't be a safe city either. >> lisa: there is because of the leaders to your point. >> don't ask me when you have citizens like valerie bertinelli crying out on the border, and

near record highs and the price of a gas: an biden to legislative accomplishments and even bipartisan wins. biden can celebrate better than expected midterm election results. you can't necessarily argue with biden being effective in accomplishing some of the policy goals that he and his progressive party set out to accomplish. they are two metrics when it comes to grading or weighing a politician, especially the president's effectiveness. one is, are they doing what is good for the country? are we in a good place kamara things good and americans mostly happy? and the other one is are you accomplishing the agenda with your group of folks leading the way and directing you? on the first one, the polls say no, he's not doing things americans are happy with. we have poles to show that. you feel the country is headed in the right direction, 26.1% says wright, 65.3% says wrong.

with that information, they are saying it was a good year. >> lisa: i spent a lot of time working in politics and it comes down to that question in 1980, are you better off than four years ago? the answer is "no" for americans. you can look at the midterm elections and that was a unique set of circumstances with the dobbs hearing and people voting on the issue of abortion. you will not necessarily having that heading into the 2024 election. this will be a hundred percent referendum on joe biden. the administration and the failures they have had appeared with that being said, we are in a new era politics. wild west with mail-in ballots and democrats use covid virus for the pandemic political process that has changed the game. >> griff: you work and a lot of politics so a suffolk poll could have's rating and 47% disagree and 27.3 somewhat

approve, 17.5% strongly approve. so while biden and the administration is touting successes and sort of sitting in the middle ground, i think it's going well for him truly are a full sense of security. >> lisa: a lot of it, you can't wear out 2024 so midterm elections to look to 2024 is essentially meaningless, but it is relevant, right? a set of circumstances heading into the 2024 election. and the fed raised interest rates and that will take a year to play out. i don't think the economy will look better heading into the 2024 elections. he will have to answer to that. it depends on who republicans run and what sort of message they are running and people need to hear how this person, republicans is going to positively impact after seeing their life negatively impacted by joe biden. no one should be underestimated at all. >> joey: people need to

understand when summarizing a year, a four-year term, gas prices will creep one way or the other. i hope they get really good, and i will take credit to get there. but i won't forget who put them where they were. if i'm in the landscaping business and i put gasoline in every tool used to do my business and i lost that business over the summer because i couldn't afford to run those tools, i'm never going to forget that. when he gets ready to run again, he is the guy that can put me back there again. people need to understand i will always apply the micro plot a leader for doing the right thing to help us but the posture of all of your policy seems to appe one subset of americans and one group of ideals like climate change or whatever we call will culture come i think a lot of americans will look at this and want something different. he has two years to figure it out. republicans, please, get yourself together and learn how to go out and find your voters,

>> that is absolutely true, lisa because of the open border and the invitation this administration has given to the rest of the world. we see these type of videos and encounters. i investigate some of these during my career, but nothing like what we see the brazen type of assault seen by illegal immigrants coming into the country. i interviewed many ranchers in the last almost two years along the border and tell you the stories they have given me about the bodies, the dead bodies encountered on t ranchers. yes, the fence keep the cattle on their own property. but a lot of issues broken by the illegals. and it's gotten out of hand. we are trying to do something about it because the biden administration won't do it so i along with american project to

are starting to see these kind of crimes happen all over the country from people not aunt this country illegally and we have a crimes surge problem in our country that we must deal with. we don't need additional people coming in, millions of them. and i'm not saying all committing crimes, but many of them that are coming in have prior criminal histories, deportations, criminal history from their own country that we are not aware of because those countries don't report to the databases here they are getting in. they are getting in from countries you would never imagine. we talk about russia, special interest countries with the department of homeland security where they might be sponsored by terrorism. this is national security of public safety issue that we face every day now and this imminent threat. let's not forget the cartels here this is the number one issue right now that is not getting out enough. we are not dealing with mexico the way that we should in

if you talk with veterans long enough about that option, they are going to be people of their word, people of action. what i would say to that i know what they are thinking, what are you doing? so if at this notion for years and years in my mind. i'm a small-town guy and always will be. i grew up in small-town state of illinois, every little town had a diner. veterans are certainly not anonymous in small towns. you will go to the local diner, and she would talk to people instead of talking to a device, if you will appear to have a good meal and go about your day. we think this is a very, very good fit. we have established this in illinois we have a lot of veterans and townspeople coming in that is a way to celebrate things that i think this country great. certainly our first responders, rosie's missing man table, golden rule, teachers and

family. good food and good service. so, that is really the essence of it, joey. i don't think i've ever been this happy since before i went to combat, actually. >> joey: i believe every word you said about being happy about this. i know once you commit to a life of service commit never goes away. i love the aspect of accountability. you tell people don't stop serving and then you said where i am doing that in my life, you know, the leader years in life i will still do it and open this restaurant. i know there was a lot of aspects of the restaurant that are unique and welcomes in veterans. i know you do discounts for veterans, which is an amazing thing. you have fame start and a mentor, i would love to hear it. but tell me what it does like to see the country where it is today and the veterans coming home from the war in afghanistan compared to where you were coming home from vietnam? >> i have a comment about that. we know that the way the honor

of warriors you give them dignity of their experience. vietnam was the low part of our country in that regard. we don't ever want to go there again. it is important when veterans come back, couple of things, number one, most of them especially the ones that have seen a lot of combat. they are trying to figure out who they are now. number two, what is my lane in life going to be? i firmly believe being in the space for number of years that many of our veterans are far better off being the captain of their own rowboat so to speak as opposed to trying to fit into a large corporate setting and that type of thing. they've got everything you guys, post 9/11 folks and all the veterans. they have everything those postwar world to people and highly successful around the country and businesses of their own. we need to do that again. there are come i should say this, many, many businesses existing that are owned by
