attended burke college in nyu, but either school has record of his attendance. he also lied about his work history as well as making several false claims about his personal life. he said he was in quote unquote proud to only to backtrack and say he was -ish. he claimed that his mother had died on 9/11. 9/11 clave my mother's life. but a few months later, on twitter, he wrote that his mother had died in 2016. spoke directly to try to better understand his side of the story . here is part of the conversation . my question is do you have no shame? do you have no shame in the people who are now you are asking to trust you to go and b their voice for them, their families and their kids in washington?

and local investigations into george santos that have begun even though it's not quite yet clear what crime he may have committed. some of the architects of the russia collusion hoax like disgraced fbi agent were especially thrilled. in fact, now on social media an playing without any evidence that, he may be up upon a russian intelligence. i feel like most americans you care about the truth more than partisan politics. unfortunately there are too man politician and cable new shows who only care about raw partisa political calculations and that's why they are not willing to call out anyone from there own team. as a result, permanent washington is overrun with liar and opportunists that have no problem whatsoever deceiving th american people just to further their own interests. in our interview, george santos

and consequence to the american people, our security, and our freedom. every one of our leaders has taken an oath to support and defend the constitution of the nine states. there is no greater form of disrespect of democracy in the constitution and the american people then flying and attempting to deceive us. we have far too many people leading our nation's institutions in congress in the executive branch on the nationa security state in the mainstrea media and these big tip companies who actually believe it's acceptable to deceive us for they often justify these deceptions by saying is george santos did on tuesday, that the american people just can't handle the truth. or that they know what is best for us better than we do. when leaders use deception to manipulate us and get what they want, then we the people can't make informed decisions. that's not a functioning

this country was based on a fea and respect in our rights comin from a higher power, from the most high god and we just don't have that anymore. i was watching george santos an he doesn't feel like he answers to anybody and he certainly doesn't answer to the american people. i've lived long enough where there was a time where a man's word meant something very handshake, you make a promise you stand on. those times are long past. they certainly don't exist in politics so i would ask every man, woman, child, anybody listening, we don't have a political problem in america, w have a spiritual problem. our spiritual resolve has been broken and that is why everybod is comfortable lying, seizing power by any means necessary on both sides. there is no political savior. the republicans are going to

save this country in the democrats are going to save thi country. men who believe in god are only hope. god is the only thing that will save this country. we are in a total free-throw. the reason many of us were attracted to donald trump's because he wasn't a typical politician. he was flawed, but you could believe what he said even thoug he was a flawed man. was to these politicians are not . a lot of the american public thinks religious faith is optional in this country. i'm not telling everybody the f to believe what i believe with this country ran better in the culture respect he got an app i you're of god, they felt like they could answer to god. he wouldn't get on tv until the top of last he was telling them.

the absolute arrogance in the putting the priorities here. for example there's over $13 billion in this bill going to fix the ukrainian energy grid . there's one 13th or one tenth about that or less going to puerto rico. puerto rico has a famously corrupt energy grid. there are so many pet projects, over $80 million going to save that which is a beautiful world being destroyed right now by windmills and solar panels whic get billions of billions of billions of dollars. when a solo after an election. dc politicians are so arrogant, you might as well put that 4,00 page bill onto a jet and sign i when you're on vacation. >> there are too many examples of the poor, the special

powers and was done for political reasons. so filed a lawsuit against the january 6 committee to contest subpoena and this week they committee backed down and withdrew that subpoena. the head of dillon law group, she's also running to be chair of the rnc. thank you so much for being her i wonder if you could just star out with a little bit of contex for those at home wondering wha was the big deal about their subpoena and why did it warrant a lawsuit and why is it important for the country that you prevailed in this lawsuit. >> thank you for asking for thi january 6 committee as we all know has been going on for a year in a half and i would call it an extended advertisement with no actual legal significance they pretty much used it as a commercial for there own side for the midterm elections. so the only correct purpose of

house select committee investigation is really towards legislation. in this case, the one piece of legislation that came out of th january 6 committee was passed in september having to do with the electoral so after that, is when they issued the subpoena for donald trump and sought extensive records to the point of probably hundreds of thousands of documents from his presidency. the reason we fought back was really just for the principle o separation of powers. that is not the first time a former president has been subpoenaed by the house, and it would have been the first time that one actually testified if he had come forward and not question the subpoena. he articulated the same principles needed in the lawsuit . in addition to being overbroad, in addition to being vague, in addition to not pursuing proper

legislative purpose we have had that lawsuit in florida where president trump lives. some people are saying they jus let the clock run out. at the house wanted to fight th lawsuit they could have stepped up, they could have stepped up and engage with us and had a court ruling on the issue. they did not want a court rulin on the issue in new they were wrong and likely to lose as a result they never filed us in courts. they had to back down yesterday so we are pleased with the result for the offices of the presidency and because of the concept of separation of powers. >> there reaction proves your point, that this was about political moves before the election, it was posturing in about continuing to show there own political objectives that they were pursuing knowing it

being actively opposed by federal enforcement. what kind of responses have you gotten from your local customs and border protection officers in your local law enforcement and what they are trained to do to keep the community safe. >> there is plenty of border patrol, there is many more patrol out here then, there is not enough of them when we driv from houston down here, we stil galveston police officers out her. there are police officers comin in from all over the state to assist. it still not enough because of the things being done at the border. we've got to closed on the border. this administration is not doin anything about it, so if we've got to rely on our governor to step in. >> debbie, when you are there a the ranch and you have your

beautiful granddaughter there with you, how do you feel at night seeing these videos of what's been happening and knowing that people are been trying to break into your home numerous times. how do you find that feeling of safety. >> it is always fearful, you ar always looking over your shoulder, you're listening for sounds not familiar to you. you do not feel safe. you can't go out on the porch and the mornings to drink coffe without a gun on you. i cannot tell you how fearful i is. how uneasy you feel coming even being out on the property. i am always looking, constantly. >> this is the third time in 18 months that we have had illegal here on our property.

here we are at the let us do good village. first community like this in america. a hundred families together that lost their loved ones. the kids that lost their mom or dad protecting us. and today is the day that we're going to deliver the first beautiful home to the thornton family. some wonderful people donated. a bunch of land in land o' lakes. to let us do good village. having stood here on this same property with a shovel and now seeing a home where a family is going to move in. built all of our roads, all of our infrastructure is here. we've got several homes are under construction. and this is absolutely amazing to me. it's going to have a pool gym, rec center, beautiful facility, a movie theater where the folks, again, can live and heal and grow together. to see it completely done, to see it fully furnished, it's a blessing to be able to get a home like this. my children struggle a lot,

but i feel like this community will bring a closeness with other children that are struggling with the same thing that they are. this is going to be my home. if you look around, can you just imagine the families like minded folks? that's going to be here. here at the let us do good village, we can bring all those folks together. this is something that america is missing. people seeing these things happen inspire others to do good. we need to take care of our gold star families. tunnel to towers does that. this is a foundation that you should be a part of because not just helping me, but there's so many people like me that need help. this time next year, we hope to have another dozen houses done with another dozen families in. it's a way to say thank you to the americans that paid and made the ultimate sacrifice. every inch of this community has meaning.
