10:00 pm
residence. and they wrote that the grinch was no match for centas elf, the sirrs team. >> that's good stuff. tomorrow, a special report, the house ways and means committee is set to release former president donald trump's tax returns. we'll take a look at that. thanks for inviting us into your home tonight. that is it for this special report, fair, balanced and still unafraid. out there. have a great evening. good evening, everyone. aloha and welcome to a special edition of tucker carlson. tonight, i'm tulsi gabbard and i'm standing in for tucker now. jorge santos was elected back in november to represent new york's 3rd congressional district, which includes parts of the north shore of long island and queens. during the campaign, santos made numerous claims about his biography that he now
10:01 pm
acknowledges were false. for example, santos claimed that he attended baruch college and nyu, but neither school has a record of his attendance. santos also lied about his work history, as well as making several false claims about his personal life. he said he was a quote unquote, proud, only to backtrack and say he was jewish. >> now on twitter, santos also claimed that his mother had died on 9/11, quote, 9/11 claimed my mother's life. he wrote . but a few months later on twitter, santos wrote that his mother had died in 2016. on tuesday, i spoke directly to santos to try to better understand his side of the story. here's part of our conversation. my question is , do you have no shame? do you have no shame? and the people who are now you're asking to trust you to go and be their voice for them, their families and their kids in washington policy. >> i say the same thing about
10:02 pm
the democrats and the party. look at joe biden. joe biden's been lying to the american people for 40 years. he's the president of the united states . democrats resoundingly support him. do they have no shame? >> look, this just made this very this is not this is not about democratic party, though . this is about your really, frankly, with the people who've entrusted you to go and fight for them. a lie is not an embellishment on a resume. you said you worked at goldman sachs and citigroup, but they've said we've got no record of this guy working for us . you've said you've gone to and graduated from these universities, but they've said, well, we've got no record . >> we can debate my my resumé and how i worked with firms such as is it debatable or is it just for this day to be able. no, no, it's not false at all. it's debatable. i can i can sit down and explain to you what you can do in private equity in capital intro via servicing limited partners and general partners. >> and we can have this
10:03 pm
discussion that's going to go way above the american people's head. you just kind of highlighted, i think, my concern, the concern that people at home have. you're saying that this discussion will go way above the heads of the american people, basically insulting their intelligence. congressman santos, we've given you a lot of time. i think the time that is owed is to the people of new york's third. it's hard to imagine how they could possibly trust your explanations when you're not really even willing to admit the depth of your deception. now, after that interview, we heard from a lot of people on all ends of the political spectrum. there are some conservatives who were suggesting that santos's lies paled in comparison to the lies told by top democrats about their own personal lives. they also suggest that even if santos is a liar, it's better for the country if republicans hold on to as many seats as possible in the house. >> now, on the liberal side, this show received praise from outlets and people that are normally attacking us .
10:04 pm
many are welcoming the federal and local investigations into george santos that have begun, even though it's not quite yet clear what crime he may have committed. now, some of the architects of the russia collusion hoax, like disgraced fbi agent peter shrock, were especially thrilled. in fact, strock is now on social media implying without any evidence, no surprise that santos may be a pawn of russian intelligence. now, if you're like most americans, you care about the truth more than partisan politics. but unfortunately, there are too many politicians in cable news shows who only care about partisan political calculations. and that's why they're not willing to call out anyone from their own team as a result, permanent washington is overrun with liars and opportunists who have no problem whatsoever, deceiving the american people just to further their own interests. now, in our interview, jorge santos invoked lies
10:05 pm
by democrats as an excuse for his own lies. it's not it's inexcusable. but at the same time, it is also true that many of the same democrats who are gleeful about santos being actually held accountable publicly for his lies are deafeningly silent about joe biden and his deceptions, about his own biography. and there's too many to count. but here's just one by the great honor of being arrested with our un ambassador on the streets of soweto trying to get to see him on robben island. >> say to the guys in the new year, i have arrested trying to see mike lindell of south africa, nelson mandela. >> i came back from south africa trying to see nelson mandela and getting arrested for trying to see him on robben island. he was in prison. >> joe biden didn't just lie about being arrested as a civil rights activist. he also lied about having three undergraduate degrees, about finishing in the top half of his law school. class.
10:06 pm
he lied about his family's history in the coal mines. he's plagiarize beaches and falsely claimed to have visited afghanistan to see a , quote unquote, heroic naval officer. he's not alone. we can't forget the time hillary clinton claimed to have landed in iraq under heavy sniper fire in 2008. i remember landing under sniper fire . there was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles, to get to our base. when pictures emerged showing hillary clinton's landing in iraq and there was no sniper fire . hillary clinton changed her story just to say she misspoke. sounds familiar. this is just one of the many lies that she's told. but the point here is lying. politicians are nothing new . a george santurce lies are inexcusable, but let's be real. he is a small fish in a sea of sharks in washington who've been deceiving us for a very long time and at great cost
10:07 pm
and consequence to the american people, our security and our freedom. every one of our elected leaders in washington has taken an oath to support and defend the constitution of the united states . there is no greater form of disrespect of democracy and the constitution and the american people than lying and attempting to deceive us . yet we have far too many people leading our nation's institutions in congress, in the executive branch, in the national security state, in the mainstream media, and in these big companies who actually believe that it's acceptable to deceive us . they often justify these deceptions by saying, as jorge santos did on tuesday, that the american people just can't handle the truth or that they know what's best for us better than we do. but when leaders use deception to manipulate us and to get what they want, then we, the people can't make informed decisions. that's not a functioning
10:08 pm
democracy. that's a dictatorship. and remember, the deception from the media, senior intelligence officials and big tech regarding hunter biden's laptop just days before the twenty twenty election. >> now, they knew this was a calculated decision. they knew that if voters actually saw what was on that laptop, then we might not vote for joe biden in a recent poll was just done, actually confirm that this concern was true. so they lied. they misled us . they said this is likely russian misinformation. and then they took it a step further and censored. anyone who tried to share it. this blatant deception directly undermined our election and our democracy. now consider the lies that we were told by both democrat and republican administrations and leaders in the pentagon who for two decades told us we're winning the war in afghanistan, send more troops, send more money. these lies led to the deaths of two thousand four hundred fifty six of my brothers
10:09 pm
and sisters in uniform and sent thousands more home injured, spending more than two trillion of our taxpayer dollars to enrich the military industrial complex. now, president bush and his administration, they lied to us all about iraq having weapons of mass destruction as an excuse to start a costly war that resulted in more than four thousand four hundred thirty one american lives lost. and the rise of isis. and , of course, the big lies aren't just used to justify foreign intervention and regime change because the fda and the cdc, they lied to us. they told us you've got to take the vaccine in order to prevent us from getting or spreading covid not true. tony fauci he lied to us about the efficacy of cloth masks and surgical masks. and he also lied under oath about his role in funding dangerous gain of function research and human. there are more examples. james clapper, he lied under oath about collecting data
10:10 pm
on us citizens. john brennan lied to congress about illegally tapping u.s. senators phones. the fbi, the department justice . they lied and pretended the steele dossier was credible. kick starting the russia collusion hoax. the fbi went on to use that very same dossier, as well as other falsified information to obtain secret surveillance warrants to illegally spy on american citizens. these people have created a culture where lies and deceit are normalized, are acceptable, even justified in their own minds. and all these examples that i've cited, they've expressed no remorse and there's been no accountability. the survival of our democracy depends on our ability. we the people's ability to trust that those who lead these institutions in our society, like i said in congress, the executive branch, the security state as well, as in the mainstream media and big tech, they must be led by people of integrity who are
10:11 pm
committed to protecting our democracy and our freedom. and serving the best interests of the american people and our country. jason whitlock is the host of fearless. you have seen him before here on this show. jason , thank you so much for joining us . now, i saw you responded very quickly to that interview with jorge santos. how do you make of the fact that washington is so quick to respond when it's politically convenient, but on these bigger issues that really threaten our democracy, they're nowhere to be found? i was very proud of you tuesday night for holding jorge santos accountable. i was disappointed, but i kind of expected it's par for the course. politti haitians do not believe they answer to a higher power. they're a reflection of an american society and culture that has abandoned any fear of god , any respect for god , any respect for our founding,
10:12 pm
the founding principles. this country was based on a fear and a respect in our rights coming from a higher power, from the most high god , and we just don't have that anymore. so i was watching jorge santos and he doesn't feel like he answers to anybody and he certainly doesn't answer to the american people. he thinks they're stupid. >> and but there was a time i've lived long enough when a man's word actually meant something, a handshake. you make a promise, you stand on . but those times long past, they certainly don't exist in politics. and so i would ask every man, woman, child, anybody listening . we don't have a political problem in america. we have a spiritual problem. our spiritual resolve has been broken. and that's why everybody's comfortable lying, seizing power by any means necessary. and this is on both sides. there is no political savior. the republicans aren't going
10:13 pm
to save this country. the democrats aren't going to save this. this country. men who believe in god are our only hope. god is the only thing that's going to save this country. we're in total free fall. there's no reason to respect any of these policies. these typical politicians. the reason why many of us were attracted to donald trump is because he wasn't a typical politician. he was very flawed. but you could actually believe what he said, even though he was a flawed man. most of these politicians are not. a lot of the american public thinks that religious faith is optional in this country. it's just not i'm not telling everybody. they got to believe what i believe. but this country ran a lot better when the culture respected god and had a fear of god and felt i could answer to god, you just wouldn't get on tv and tell the kind of lies he was telling and just brush it off. >> hey, the voters are too stupid. i don't even know them. an explanation, jason . just that that blatant disrespect and your point is such a powerful and important one .
10:14 pm
about that erosion of the spiritual foundation of this country and the danger when you have politicians who think that they are god , that they are the ones in control, and that lack of a moral compass that goes with that. thanks so much for your really, really thoughtful and important comments, jason . >> i appreciate your just like that. one last thing. if i could add one last thing. people want to be on the right side of history, and that's just the wrong standard. you need to be on the right side of god . history is written by whoever wins. jorge santos thinks he's going to win. democrats on the left think they're going to win. they're going to write history. it's just not true. you need to be on the right side of god . if we're going to save this country. >> thank you so much, jason . thank you. >> joe biden, he's still on vacation. so he just had that massive spending bill flown to the virgin islands on a passenger jet so that he could sign it into law. now, thousands of americans are trapped in airports tonight,
10:15 pm
but somehow this particular jet took off with no problems. the four thousand page one point seven trillion dollar spending bill is now law. now, chris bedford is executive editor at the common sense society. he joins us now to assess a bit of a double standard here. my first thought, chris , was why did he leave washington in the first place knowing that this his signature was going to be needed very imminently? because why not? i mean, why not? send a private jet down to st. croix to bring him to bill to sign it? why not? leave washington, d.c.? why care at all about all the people who are stuck in airports? i mean, this entire bill is completely representative of how little dc cares about actual american interests, about the american people, about our voters. i mean, if you're a republican, for example, decided to stay home, but stay home during the november election, what better vindication do you have for that decision than this bill that mitch mcconnell
10:16 pm
pushed through with joe biden and chuck schumer and nancy pelosi at the end? the absolute arrogance, the they're actually putting the priorities here now. for example, over 13 billion dollars in this bill going to fix the ukrainian energy grid. now there's about one thirteenth or one tenth that amount or less going to puerto rico. puerto rico is famously corrupt energy grid where a lot of that money is siphoned off. nothing works in hurricanes, said it's a disaster, but at least that's part of the united states . ukraine is where that money is going. instead, there are so many pet projects, there's over 80 million dollars going to save the grouse, which is a beautiful bird that's been destroyed right now. their habitats being destroyed by windmills and solar panels, which get billions and billions and billions of dollars and their own profit. so at that point, when there's so little carried wind after an election, dc politicians are so arrogant. i mean, you might as well just put that four thousand page bill onto a private jet flight out of st. croix and sign it while you're on vacation. yeah. so there's so too many examples of, you know, the the pork ,
10:17 pm
the special projects, the fluff that was shoved into that bill . but i think one of the most egregious ones that i saw has to do with the crisis that's happening at the border where they allotted money to go towards customs and border protection, but they went out of their way to language in that bill that says you're not actually allowed to use any of this money towards technologies and capabilities that will actually help secure the border, which is just i mean, it is so offensive and wrong on on so many levels. thank you so much for bringing some sense to this insane situation. chris , i appreciate it. thank you. >> our friend harmeet dhillon, she's just scored a major legal victory over the january 6th committee. she'll be joining us next to talk more about that. plus, the border crisis is making many texans feel unsafe in their own homes. the ranch owner in texas just recorded incredible footage of illegal migrants trying to break into her property for the third time. that's coming up next.
10:18 pm
i remember when i got my first glimpse of the mountains, i had to take a breath. i began to understand what is so special about it. you guys ready to . sure. it was times like that when they all questioned the monumental task that was in front of them. i was determined to be out there back support if you need it, you know it right there on the lower back , like a sharp jolt of electricity right across the mid back . you need perfect advance back pro, the ultimate copper infused compression bill designed to support lower back muscles and help against the discomforts of pain and inflammation. >> the second that you put it is an immediate change. i can feel the compression
10:19 pm
holding everything in it is taking all the pressure off of my lower back , high performance, copper infused compression fabric woven into a lightweight garment. >> my back is my livelihood and when i have back pain, i can't really contribute to the job. when i put on advance back , i truly have not felt this good in a long, long time. i've had to before without copper fit and i've got to experience with copper fit and it is night and day adjustable bands to customize the compression level to the support you need. it gives the mobility to be able to move, step, bend, copper, fit is pass the test the minute i put it on , i cannot afford for my bag. take me down. you can really feel the compression holding everything in place. i was able to work out harder and keep my core stable while i was doing all these exercises. now i feel like i can go train without it. it's the real deal for builtin ultra flex stabilizing supports to help reduce lower back stress and strain. >> one game can really change your physical status. but the bill has helped me so much because compression holds
10:20 pm
everything in place. it was kind of like a secret weapon. you know, it's going to be the main is me cooking them on the court with the belt on for the best backs. poor belt you will ever wear guaranteed or your money back . get yours now on the web and advance back pro .com for only nineteen ninety nine or call 1-800- 382 four nine eight nine. >> i'm very happy that i discovered advanced back pro by kopra and it gives me a piece of my life that was missing. the belt is such a simple answer to solve your problem. >> copperfield feel the fear if you should die. >> that is nature's way of saying you failed. i want to be broken. i want to be tested. i yes baby . oh my worst fears here. like i'm just the worst. i don't care how rich or famous they are.
10:21 pm
they will play by our rules. >> special forces world's toughest test wednesday on fox. >> take off new year's eve. holy joy jimmy fallon, emily campanello and griff jenkinss
10:22 pm
without borders will continue to put our patients first in october the january 6th. committee issued a subpoena to donald trump seeking access to various records from his time in the white house. this was a clear violation of
10:23 pm
the principle of separation of powers, and it was done for political reasons. so harmeet dhillon filed a lawsuit against the january six committee to contest the subpoena. and this week, the committee backed down and withdrew that subpoena. harmeet dhillon is the head of dylan law group. she's also running to be chair of the rnc. harmeet , thank you so much for being here. i wonder if you could just start off with a little bit of context for those at home who wonder what was the big deal about this subpoena? why did it warrant a lawsuit and why is it important for the country that you prevailed in this lawsuit? well, thank you for asking. >> see, so this january 6th committee, as we all know, has been going on for a year and a half. i would call it an extended advertisement with with no actual legal significance. but all political . by the january 6th committee and the democrats, they pretty much used it as a commercial for their own side for the midterm election. so now the only correct purpose
10:24 pm
of a house select committee investigation is really towards legislation. and in this case, the one piece of legislation that came out of the january 6th committee was passed in september having to do with the electoral count act. and so after that is when they issued the subpoena for donald trump and sought extensive records. i mean, to the point of probably would have been hundreds, thousands of documents from his presidency. and so the reason why we fought back is really to stand for the principle of separation of powers. and this is not the first time that a president or former president has been subpoenaed by the house. and it would have been the first time that one actually testified if he had gone forward and had not quashed the subpoena. in fact, president truman many years ago was also subpoenaed after he left office. and he very clearly articulated the same principles that we did in our lawsuit. so in addition to being overbroad, in addition to being vague, in addition to not
10:25 pm
pursuing a proper legislative purpose, we articulated separation of powers issues. and we filed that lawsuit in florida where president trump lives. and , you know, some people are saying, oh, hurt me. they just let the clock run out . it's no big deal . but actually , if the house wanted to fight our lawsuit, they could have immediately stepped up. they were served properly. they could have stepped up and engaged with us and had a court ruling on the issue. they did not want a court ruling on the issue. they knew they were wrong. they knew they were likely to lose. and as a result, they never fought us in court and they had to back down yesterday. so we're very pleased with the results for the office of the presidency. and for the concept of separation of powers. it hurt me that their reaction response literally proves your point, right, that this was about political moves before the election. it was about posturing and it was about continuing to show their own political objectives that they were pursuing, knowing that it was a futile effort from the beginning. thank you so much for your expertise, expertise and your leadership and voice
10:26 pm
on this and so many other issues, like utilizing now one of the consequences of the ongoing border crisis is that there are many texas residents who no longer feel safe in their own homes. let's take a look at this disturbing footage. it shows illegal migrants trying to break into a ranch house. and edwards county, texas, earlier this month. this house is about 50 miles inland from the border. now, the property owner, debbie douglas , told fox's bill meluzin this has happened before. and that she spent more than thirteen thousand dollars upgrading her security. debbie douglas is joining us now. she is here with her son , scott, who owns the ranch. and scott's daughter, celeste, is also joining us . thank you all very much for taking the time to come and just share your experience, because i know your experience is you're not alone. there are others who are concerned and experiencing the same kind of fear. you are.
10:27 pm
>> yes, we just finished construction a couple of months ago. this is the second time they've actually attempted to break in. and one other time that i came in, it is very sad that we cannot come up here and enjoy the life that we did several years ago. without fearing for our lives. we constantly got to be armed. we've constantly got to be watching the little one so that she doesn't get out of our sight. and it's just it's i don't know what i do know what the solution is to close the borders. our governor has got to do something. i'm sorry. go ahead. i was just going to ask you, you mentioned you mentioned the governor has got to do something. i know your governor and others are actually trying to do what they can to secure the borders ,but are being actively opposed by the federal
10:28 pm
government and federal enforcement. what kind of responses have you gotten from your local customs and border protection officers in your local law enforcement? >> what they're trying to do to to keep the community safe ? well, the there's plenty border patrol out there that there's many border patrol out here. they're just there's not enough of when we drive from houston out here, you know, we see galveston county police officers out here. there's police officers coming from all over the state to assist, but it's still not enough because nothing is being done at the border. you know, we've got to close down the border. you know, this administration is not doing anything about anything about it. so we've got to , you know, rely on our governor to step in and take debbie when when you
10:29 pm
are there at the ranch and you have your beautiful granddaughter there with you, how do you feel at night? knowing and seeing these videos of what's been happening and knowing that, you know, people have been trying to break into your home there numerous times. how do you how do you find that feeling of safety? there is no feeling of safety. it is always fearful. you're always looking over your shoulder. you're always listening for sounds that are not familiar to you yet. >> you do not say you can even go out on the porch in the mornings to drink or coffee without a gun on you. >> and that's it's just i cannot tell you how fearful it is and how uneasy you feel even being out on the property ,always looking constantly for movement. and this is the third time within eighteen months that we've had illegals here at our property. gosh, you know, debbie, debbie,
10:30 pm
scott and celeste, i think your being here and having the courage to speak out about this really drives home your experience that a lot of americans who don't live there near or on the border, you know, it's easy to feel out of touch. so this is someone else's problem. but you really drive it home of what this is really about. it's about the safety and security of the american people. view your community and our country. so i appreciate you taking time with us today. thank you. and like you change has to happen. >> i know change needs to happen now. that has to happen. ah, none of us are going to be safe . that's right. thank you so much. a group of former special operations soldiers has just embarked on an epic journey across seven continents. they're in antarctica right now, and it's all part of a historic and very important mission. >> that's straight ahead.

10:38 pm
and said, hey, how can we inspire americans and not forget doing something about setting a seven seven with that sacrifice that all with their i think we're having a little bit of audio trouble there. mike , i appreciate all that you guys are doing and encourage people to follow the triple seven expedition as they kick this off in antarctica in support of our goldstar families. >> thanks so much, mike . now, you may have heard this catchy song about the biden family that's going around the internet and the laptop from . the song is called rudolph's laptop. >> and here's part of it. the guys are not dumb. he said nobody would ever know. shame on you, you.

10:40 pm
uh, i just flew to the u.k. to visit winston and , um, we had a day in the studio and yeah, i just thought we would drop a , uh, song for the holidays. >> so a little christmas cheer . >> yeah. uh, mehul, i think your topic is obviously well chosen, given the experiences that both of you have had with censorship. i talked a little bit earlier about the censorship around hunter biden's laptop and winston, you came from a band, mumford and sons, big fan of the music. and you made you made a tough choice to actually be one of those people who chose freedom of speech over kowtowing to censorship. >> you talk a little bit about that. absolutely. well, tell me. thank you so much for having us on the show.
10:41 pm
and it's a great pleasure to talk about this song. which i should add was really meant as a little bit of silliness. rudolph's laptop's been captured and it's ruined. christmas for santa. he's his not only his libidinous lewd behavior has been caught on tape by himself. but also he has a penchant for filming himself, taking crack cocaine. and santer's business deals with the ukraine and china were also revealed on the laptop. it's been it was a disastrous christmas for father christmas, sadly. and but big tech came to the rescue. or at least you have the song to hear exactly what happened. you obviously we were joking about the hunter biden laptop, which, of course, you've reported on your show that much of the mainstream media have been ignoring. and oddly, a lot of the music industry seemed to ignore. >> but we are all myself of big free speech fans and very happy
10:42 pm
that the twitter feeds has happened, which which is has revealed what's been going on between big tech and government. your government, fbi, dnc, etc. ,as you've been covering and i should say, i've been covering it on my podcast, marschall matters with the spectator. so we thought we just have a bit of fun with the song, really. so kind of very surreal that we're now talking about it on your show on national television. >> yes, it is something that's created a little bit of fun, but my gosh, there's so much meaning and so much truth there as well. erielle you've been impacted by a lot of those winston was just talking about. i've had my own experiences, but when we talk about you guys, as artists, as musicians and what we like to think is that america is a country where we can all express ourselves freely, especially those who are artists. you've had a different experience and you're still
10:43 pm
struggling with it. yeah, i mean, i'm i'm struggling with it. uh, but, uh, but, you know, uh, out of, uh, out of the ashes, you know, there's is a rebirth ,some sorts. so hopefully there'll be a there'll be some positive things. maybe i'll be beyond some podcasts more often. i think maybe this is my my future. you go , oh, maybe i'll do politics. well, i think i think you guys really on a positive have set the standard. yeah. go ahead. >> yeah. on a positive note, uh, hemingway said of dostoevsky that he was forged in siberia as a sword is forged. a writer, sports and injustice. and i think that there's a lot of censorship and all this council culture stuff, but it will make better artists. and so i'm quite hopeful. these experience. horwitt as they've been and aurea went one of the most
10:44 pm
horrible examples of canceling something he didn't even do. and so i think despite these things that are happening, there will be great art that emerges from and i remain hopeful. that's a wonderful message. and i hope other artists who are concerned about being able to express their art and their voice. look at your examples and listen to what you've just said. thank you both so much for taking the time to join us . and thanks for what you're doing. thanks so much to you. >> thank you. thank you. chelsea, i wants to in 2020 one , dozens of churches were targeted in unfortunate arson attacks in canada. now there's new evidence that attacks against churches are now increasing in our country as well. >> that's coming up next. wady, sometimes it's just inevitable. but if you're over 50 or live with a chronic condition

now, that's despite the fact that churches are increasingly under attack in this country. there's a new report from the family research council that shows that churches face increasing risk of vandalism and other physical attacks. the real deal , turco is assistant director of the center for religious liberty at the family research council. erielle , thanks so much for joining us . now to really talk about what's happening in this country. i think a lot of people aren't aware of it because it's not getting the kind of attention it deserves. >> yeah, thank you, tallassee. so our report, when we did this research, we were stunned at what we found. we found it attacks across fifty or forty five states and washington, d.c. in there just rising from 2020 twenty two had triple the amount of incidents that 2018 had just over five years. so this is a major problem that's going to take all of us to address. the reality is that attacks
10:51 pm
on religious freedom are deeply important to all of us . >> they are, they are truly i mean our freedom of religion is a pillar of the constitution that this country was founded upon. and we're seeing especially this, you know, attacks on christian churches is going uninvestigated and uncovered by the mainstream media. but but talk about this issue of religious liberty and religious freedom, because that's the freedom of people to be able to worship or not and to do so without fear. >> but that's not what's happening in a lot of places. right, tulsi? no one should be intimidated out of going to their houses of worship. we saw this most prominently. and this summer, around the time that the supreme court issued the dobs decision, which overturned roe v. wade, we saw a spike in attacks of hostility against churches.
10:52 pm
we identified fifty seven . that's more than the entire year of 2018 had. so protesters were having grotesque displays in churches and outside of churches. harming them with threatening messages. this is barbaric. it's absolutely not something that should be happening in a democracy where one side gets angry and then goes out and attacks churches. it shouldn't be happening and it's a grave assault for our people who just want to just want to live and be able to worship freely. i appreciate your time, you know, and i hope i hope that we have religious leaders from across different faiths and religions standing together and united with christian leaders against these attacks, condemning them because it really speaks to undermining the religious freedom. >> first of all, thank you so much. thanks for having me, tulsi. >> now, a few minutes ago, we
