something it hasn't been for last several months. he is not getting accurate picture of what is going on at the southern border. pete: staggering photo. wednesday, thursday, migrant street side walk camps completely gone. joe biden makes the first trip since he drove past the border in 2008. it has been 15 years. he will get a sanitized version. as a former member of the el paso city council says, sort of defeats the purpose. here is claudia rodriguez. >> very disappointed we cleaned it all up as if nothing ever happened here. the whole purpose of president biden come toggle paso for him to see first-hand that is going on. something never happened in el paso before. mind you we are a city of immigrants. we have people coming into our community every single day. they're coming here legally.
3:06 am
everybody in el paso has a migration story. it key feets the purpose of president biden come toggle paso cleaning up streets the way they are. emily: of course it defeats the purpose. it is a blatant lie, does no one any good, especially the migrants the administration purports to care about. the irony as well, i mentioned earlier that el paso issued a disaster declaration. they have been screaming for help from only the rest of the state, also the administration. the state doesn't have the resources either. just last night they bused another 33 migrants here. good morning to you guys. this is the against the backdrop of 2.4 million migrants surging across the southern border into this fiscal year. we're into another fiscal year. we'll see more. on thursday mayorkas had the nerve to say the system has been broken.
3:07 am
these laws have not been enforced for a long time. exactly they have not been enforced for two years. the laws in place were dismantled by this president who has no idea what is going on at all. for them to have the nerve to bring that up when so much was absolutely deluded, dismantled, destroyed by this administration that trump put in place, stymie ed, the flow as cities and states are screaming for help from this administration refuses to acknowledge it. the sanitized version won't do anyone any good. pete: joe biden has had mayorkas telling him the border is closed. that is the version he gets in the echo chamber of the white house. got me thinking, see you there, will, with the border wall behind you, this show is this morning is the reason why joe biden didn't want to go to the border, because you're there covering the fact that he is visiting. we have to talk about the things that have been happening there. they will do everything they can
3:08 am
to try to sanitize it. there is still impact of glimpse of national media following biden to el paso today. will: pete, at that point, i take credit here. i want to pass along credit to guys like bill melugin and griff jenkins been on the border quite honestly years reporting on the issue at the southern border. your point is exactly right, pete. what is the purpose of the visit to the southern border for joe biden? if el paso as the border patrol tweets out is being turned into des moines, what is the purpose? i don't think it is to open the eyes of joe biden, it is to show the picture to the american public, follows joe biden and press gallery that is not tuned into fox news. they will see an image of the crisis not an accurate representation. douglas murray, a fox news contributor, let's hope something other than a false photo-op comes out of the trip

to el paso. emily: congresswoman mayra flores told kayleigh mcenany, my co-host on outnumbered, they had to take out a loan to pay for her child's school supplies. that is one example, frankly, hundreds of thousands of examples americans having resources absolutely depleted, cities, states, being gutted because of this surge because we are ill-equipped to handle. by the administration not acknowledging it, mainstream media being apologist for the media refusing to cover it, essentially amassing a portfolio when the president decides to run again for office when he is 105, these photos accompany the campaign, nothing to see here. i'm unifier. i got things done. i said don't come to the border. where is vp kamala harris, the border sar? all failures are swept under the rug while americans, cities, states, ask for everything possible.

3:11 am
understand the nature of the problem, i don't think he will learn anything. we already know millions of people are flooding across the border every year illegally. it's that, that he has to address. will: question, i don't think any of us have been talking about anticipate the purpose of the trip is for joe biden to learn anything about the crisis here in el paso or along the southern border across this whole nation. to just extend douglas's analogy, a politician showing up for a photo-op after a flood, well after the cleanup has taken place. months after fema come in, local authorities brought bulldozers and rebuilt the city. it is not a accurate photo-op. pete, rachel, i'm sorry, emily, joe biden seems this is the perfect moment apparently to begin the process of thinking about launching a campaign for 2024. let me show you this. this is, this is according to the "new york post" cover today, says all-in. pete you may have it in person.
