him, but against doctors orders just making sure like we said he is getting rest and recovery taking it slow. obviously trying to get back to being himself. >> steve: the bills have to host to the dolphins and devon joins us to react, devon, this is familiar for you the whole league rallied around you when leo was diagnosed with cancer. you continue to play through it. you were by her side. and again league rallying around demar, what's your reaction along the way? >> devon: i think what he went there was definitely a tragic experience but to see how the whole world really rallied around him is really important. to see him able to get out of that hospital and go home is a huge step for him on his journey but i think right now is one of the real work starts where he is really going to have to process what happened to him and how he will reframe this event to serve him in the future. >> brian: what do me a
5:53 am
question mark if he feels physically and passes the test he has to get out of there but psychologically it has to be in the back of your mind? >> yes. i don't think he should rush to get back out there and personally if i was him i wouldn't go back out there. i know we live in a society where we love the comeback story where we like to see people go from tragedy to triumph. nobody is really comfortable with that middle part where you have to process the tragedy went through. i don't think the goal should be to get back onto the football field but getting around his teammates that can support him along this journey is going to be important. >> brian: first off everyone wants to know how lee is doing? >> she is doing really good, she's almost a year's cancer free she is living her life. >> brian: you have an announcement right? am i a jay? >> i do. i just had another daughter on january 2nd. i have three girls, i am officially a real girl dad so i am blessed to be at this house right now because for so long we were scared to have more kids
5:54 am
because of what leo went through but now we have two more. >> brian: that's awesome. congratulations. let's start with something less important but certainly fun, and that is the wild card games this weekend, i love this weekend more than any else. first of your former team the ravens and the bangles, the bangles in a tough situation that game was in play so all kinds of gymnastics to get everything equaled out for the postseason. but the ravens-bangles you have to like cincinnati here. >> i definitely like cincinnati especially since lamar jackson most likely will not be playing. i think the bangles have really good chance to get in there and get this w and try to get back to the super bowl. >> brian: giants back in the playoffs against the vikings a team that needed a 63-yard field goal to beat him in the last seconds to the giants of a charter? >> i think so. i think the giants have looked really good the season. they have a chance to make it to postseason. for the first time in a long time so i think they have a lot of motivation to go out there and show the world what they are capable of doing. i am definitely going to go with
5:55 am
the giants. >> brian: saturday 4 4:30 on fox seahawks-49ers, seahawks sneak in last week, 49ers may be the elite of the nfc do see it that way? >> differently. definitely. i think they will definitely be able to pull this off. they have a lot of camaraderie together. they have a lot of experience together and i'm looking for them to pull off the victory. >> brian: what about them playing tom brady and the buccaneers, but do you think the bucs have a shot here? on paper they shouldn't. >> like you said on paper they shouldn't. it's hard to see brady coming in at the end of the season under 500, but i think this type of game right now may be able to break out that vintage, i don't think you can never count him out in the postseason. >> brian: great record but he looked fine this year, and jaguars charges though my chargers, red-hot team.
5:56 am
>> going with the jaguars all day, they better look good at the stress of the nfl season hopefully able to take this momentum into the wild card game. >> brian: what to think about 36-year-old rams head coach who says he's burnt out and probably will step aside? does that surprise you? >> no, it doesn't because if you look at the long season he had last year with the super bowl when back everything you have to do in the off-season and then you come into this season and you suffer from a lot of different injuries, it can wear down on you and cause burnout but i don't think he's going anywhere. >> brian: devon, great to see you, you look great congrats on your expanding family, thank you. >> thank you. >> brian: meanwhile more "fox & friends" in just ag ar moment. now what's going around is 12-hour cough relief. and the giggles. the family that takes delsym together, feels better together.
