4:06 am
>> no city deserves this. el paso does not deserve this. chicago, washington, houston, los angeles, new york, no city deserves what is happening. this is a beautiful city. and what has happened over the last few months undermine this city. and we don't deserve this. migrants don't deserve this. and the people who live in the cities don't deserve. this we expect more from our national leaders to address this issue in the real way and we need a real leadership moment from fema. this is a national crises. >> lawrence: the major question is, okay. so president biden did a little drive through last week and all of a sudden there were no migrants there. >> pete: cleaned it up.
4:07 am
>> lawrence: the administration said look you don't understand why the border works. some days a heavy day. we get the numbers in and over 500 people that were in el paso. and then mayor adams goes there and you see all these people there. so, the white house lied to us last week and pretended like it wasn't a staged event. the question is what is eric adams doing just the migrants being here in new york or is this someone because now he said something that no democrat has said yet is that it is the federal government's duty to secure the border, this is their fault, is he gunning for a bigger job? is he going after the president now? we don't know. but i just find it very strange that he is suddenly concerned. >> rachel: these migrants actually told mayor adams when he was there we heard in your state that people are really well-taken care of. we want to get to your state. he actually said we want to take care of you. so he is not saying i want to close the border. he's saying i just need more

literally giving billions of dollars to border security and we don't get reimbursed. we have a surplus in our budget so we can pay for it. new york is already bankrupt. why do we have to continue to foot the bill for this crisis? we're the only ones securing the border. if you go to the border right now, you won't see border patrol. >> they come after texas dps there we fly our planes. we fly our helicopters. we're doing the work that the border patrol should do. but they can't do it because the administration said they can't. >> rachel: you have to believe that joe biden did not want mayor eric adams to go back there and show that they are actually -- exactly that there were migrants there. there are problems in san anton know. and in el paso and all over texas. so, it's -- it does beg the question what is mayor eric adams. it's more than the money. >> pete: it's not the only problem for joe biden. >> lawrence: as i told pete here on set. i'm always skeptical with adams. >> this is a councilman that

4:11 am
>> peter: it's been a busy week at the white house. on the 9th news broke about these documents. on the 11th one more document was found in the delaware home by personal lawyers. january 12th, the white house's special counsel found five more documents at the biden delaware house and then on the 14th that lawyer publicly revealed that more documents had been found on thursday, republicans are pushing the white house to open up the private wilmington visitor logs. >> general counsel was appointed we still find out that president biden's personal attorneys are still rummaging around what essentially would be a crime scene trying to find information to turn over. so, you know, this whole process has been handled poorly it. shows there is a two tier system of justice? america and we want to know exactly who all had access to those classified documents at the biden home.
4:12 am
>> pete: ther >> peter: there is a head scratcher over something we learned over the weekend. what was the president thinking personal attorneys don't have attorneys searching for national security documents. these classified documents. something else, we were told last week that this search in wilmington was complete but then afterwards, they're coming out and saying they are finding more documents. so, stuff just is not lining up still here on a monday. back to you. >> lawrence: real quickly, peter, before we let you go. we were told from that statement from the white house that the attorneys were there with the doj. if these people don't have the security clearance why didn't the doj arrest them there? have reheard anything from the doj on that? >> no. and so far the justice department and their special counsel have not said anything about this.
4:13 am
but, something to keep an eye on in the next few days and few weeks as they finally start to kind of put their -- wrap their arms around this, does the doj want to go and search, does the fbi want to possibly go and search. get a search warrant for the biden residences because if not, they are just taking biden's personal by the hour attorneys attorney's word for it we looked and our client is telling the truth we got everything. yes, i know that there were all these different things we said we had everything and we found something else but now it's okay. will the special counsel take their word for it like that or is the doj going to want to get a search warrant to go in and see for themselves? that is something we do not know. >> rachel: yeah. how about not a search warrant. how about some fbi agents show up with guns just like they did at mar-a-lago and go through the house? i don't understand this system
4:14 am
that we live in today that, you know, there is just two tiers of justice peter, thank you for the latest. >> pete: donald trump's lawyers were told they couldn't watch the search not allowed through in the residence as they rifle through melania's closet. >> rachel: probably working in conjunction with them. we talk about how unfair this is. and conservatives are used to things being unfair. you know, in the media, et cetera. but when you have two different systems, two different ways of treating people based on what party they are in. we are not america. we seize being this country. we become just like cuba. we become like every other banana republic. you cannot have, you know, the same thing happening and probably worse in the case of joe biden because of all the chinese and foreign influence and corruption that the biden
4:15 am
family is known to have and we have evidence of, and then and treat donald trump differently. you just can't do that in america. >> lawrence: to put a button on it. the one thing you have the administration say we appointed a special counsel, all right. but in the conduct, when they're viewing the warrants, going there to receive the documents, the doj is performing as if they're the lawyers for biden as well. >> rachel: right. >> so they have to appoint a special counsel. don't give me that. i want to see what they're doing on the day-to-day basis. not just the appearance that they are being impartial. what they are doing when they are on the scene of the crime. >> rachel: pete, why would adam schiff now be turning on joe biden? what would be your thought on that. >> peter: he is about to lose his committees. listen, these are politicians. they go with the wind. or they are issuing them out. who knows? all right. speaking -- he is not a politician. is he a very, very, very successful podcaster. his name is joe rogan and prone
