millions and millions of dollars from the chinese communist pier the whole question, how was the money accounted for to what degree did virtually the entire biden team including secretary of state earn a living off of money from pennsylvania which was fungible from the chinese communists? >> todd: let's bring in federal prosecutor and i.c.e. director jonathan fahey. you heard newt gingrich talking about investigations and a lot of investigations by congressman james, homer. and alexandria hoff sang the secret service has to have some sort of record of the biden resident. so how do we find out who came and went? is it a subpoena to the secret service or what? >> that is an interesting thing because this white house pledged to be transparent very recently, may be even last week or this week. i think what is interesting is he was president of the united states. he has lots of staff.

if they wanted to produce a list who visited him at the white house chief of staff could have an aide put this together half an hour, and our peer they are deliberately hiding behind the fact they don't have "visitor laws and they can certainly put it together. yeah, i think you can subpoena the secret service and people that worked at the white house to say, "who was there visiting? "this is not invading privacy peer they are not saying what you are necessarily talking about, but let's find out who was there because there could be a national security list of who was there. but this white house shows a couple of things to be transparent and they are not peer they talk about everyone agrees president biden takes classified documents seriously peer that has been blown out of the water. he doesn't take it seriously at all. the fact they were in his garage and the garage is locked is good enough. it is absolutely absurd. they have a responsibility to be

transparent. he is the president of the united states. he shouldn't hide behind lawyers or hide behind anything else. >> carley: yes, president biden's defense so far a he didn't know classified documents were in his home and office. when he found out, he was immediately transparent with the doj and willing to comply. does that defense work here? >> it doesn't seem that it is true because did he immediately comply? we don't know when these documents were found. we know when they turned them over to the doj. that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. and again, where are these documents found? they were found all over the place. and it doesn't seem like he's really made an effort to be transparent because he's having the logos go and look for these documents. what does that mean? they are trying to look for privileged issues and things to hide behind. if they want to be transparent, invite the fbi to come and search the house and find these

documents. but for some reason, they seem very, very concerned about this command they are not acting like this was a mistake here the other thing is the garage comment, it really makes a bizarre comment but also suggests in a place he knew they were there. don't worry about it, it is a locked garage. a lot of this does not make a lot of sense at this point. >> todd: i take classified documents serious and i think part of that is part lee wright, he takes classified documents. but he doesn't take it seriously. in goshen california leaf six dead including a mother and her baby. but here is what is interesting about this. the county sheriff telling ellie times, "it is specifically connected to the cartel with level of violence this is not your run of the mill with the gang member but they are calling in an execution. and the cartel executions on u.s. soil, in mexico, central america put on u.s. soil

and would become more frequent now that biden's border has been for the last two years. >> that is a great concern and what we should be really concerned about in the future. and this is a horrible tragedy and hopefully whoever did this is held accountable at the fullest extent of the law. with this administration has been doing became about not taking things seriously, they have not taken this border issue seriously. in the meantime, they embolden these cartels because this administration's highest priority encouraging the most amount of illegal immigrants to come to the country. they don't care who suffers. and they don't care who is at risk and that they don't care if people overdosed on drugs peer they have not yielded on the highest priority, which is massive illegal immigration with no safeguards peer they won an open border really at all costs.

7 million, 8 million people and that's large in terms of population in terms what's come across. but this would be a crisis under donald trump. this is a cause for celebration for this administration because they were doing everything they can and every time you hear a new statement or policy from dhs it is easier to come into this country illegally, easier to stay if you are here. more benefits if you are here. this will only get worse. again, they are so committed to this commit is truly remarkable how unyielding they are to this open borders agenda. >> carley: speaking of that doj launched to schedule appointments with border agents so they can upload information about themselves in advance so that the appointment with border patrol or shorter. what do you think about that? >> yeah, what you say about this? everything they do, they tried to make it easier for people to come. you push a button to schedule a

silent claim but meanwhile the administration doesn't do anything to discourage fraudulent asylum-seekers because they know most of these people are not legitimate asylum-seekers. these are people fleeing torture and persecution. these are people who want to earn more money and have a better life for themselves, which is certainly an admirable quality. it doesn't mean they have a right come here. this administration encourages all of them and another thing in this long list of things that have to encourage people to come across. the other thing that is quite interesting, they really want what's going on at the border to sort of tone down to make it easier, but they don't care about the consequences internally peer at the eric adams issue, which talk about the cost in new york. this will not do anything to alleviate those costs and make those worse because there will be more and more people to come. this administration doesn't care. they will do nothing other than encourage more and more illegal immigration and demonize anyone

not test students with prestigious merit awards. governor glenn youngkin say it is all in the name of equity. >> carley: jackie ibanez with the details, good morning. >> high schools have failed to notify schools about national merit awards. prince william school to be implicated in in the scandal. the district released a statement that reads in part, "this year due to accidental administration oversight to have 13 high schools made recent notifications to approximately 16 students. all pwc's high school had no qualifying schools or made notifications early in the school year. in addition to the two schools in prince william county, seven in fairfax county and four loudoun county failed to properly notify students of their awards" and basic oversight to blame but glenn youngkin is not buying it.

tell us about this bill and why you decided to introduce it? >> thank you, carley for let us speak about a resolution. we are concerned that numerous states have outlawed our petroleum vehicles. so, we wanted to make a statement about that and probably will be the only state to make that statement. we didn't actually outlaw vehicles like the other prince did. ours is a resolution. the other states have a law. but irises a resolution that says, no more after 2025. >> carley: how would this work? car salesman cells after 2025, what happens to him? >> nothing. it is just a resolution. it will not do anything to inhibit anybody from buying a vehicle or selling a vehicle. it is just a statement that we are making. >> carley: okay, there is no

teeth behind this resolution? then why go ahead and do this? >> just so we get the message out there that we are supporting our industries that have been around 100 years, supporting us who would we want to support them now. we think there is 12 years left and some of those states might change their mind by then to a petroleum product vehicles are not so bad. >> carley: what was your reaction when you found out we have a graphic that shows the states that will band gas powered vehicles, including california, massachusetts, oregon and washington? what was your reaction when the states you found out were making that move? >> that really troubled us here in california start at that. we were worried about that. we were worried california did it, the other states would follow. the other blue states. that surely has come to fruition. so, we are glad we did this

resolution. >> carley: today, approximately 100 companies operating 30,000 pipelines in wyoming and 68,000 jobs in the states oil and gas industry. so how has the past two years been for those folks who work in oil and gas industry for the biden administration? >> well, they are a little worried because they are not getting new applications for drilling. so the leases are lapsing and bom falling behind on forward thinking. we've got to drill a well today to produce 3-5 years from now. that is not happening. so, we will be running short on oil in the next three to five years compared to what we have now. >> carley: overall when it comes to this resolution, all it is is the wyoming legislature saying you stand behind the oil

♪ ♪ >> carley: welcome back. do you remember this? shooting and killing unarmed thief earlier this month in houston, texas. that man is facing potential criminal charges. activists in the area calling on authorities to arrest him after lenny the robbery suspects gun was fake. the police say the customer fired a total of nine shots. critics say that could be seen as excessive force. the shooter also initially fled the scene but was since, has since cooperated with authorities saying he was trying to protect himself and the other customers. the grand jury will weigh whether he faces charges. meanwhile president biden taking a swipe at second amendment supporters saying they will need a big arsenal to stand a chance against his proposed gun legislation.

almost there at the messaging. he says that he will not point a finger at el paso. he will not point a finger elsewhere but he had no problem pointing a finger at greg abbott or any other republican trying to make the sanctuary cities paid their fair share and it comes to illegal entrants. say it, mayor adams, say what we think. is the biden administration and their lawless policy at the border which has contributed to this made it exponentially worse? >> carley: a small western new york community over 2,000 miles away from the border is facing a surge of illegal immigrants. some are worried it will overwhelm the resources like it is in new york city. >> todd: new york state senator joe barela joins us now. state senator, what does this influx mean for the fine folks, the citizens living in that community? >> you look at what is happening in new york city and the fact a

city with 8 million people with lots of resources has been overwhelmed with a few thousand migrants. imagine what that would do two small rural community with limited resources. that is what is playing out in the county. we have sympathy for these folks. let's keep in mind, the sanctuary state new york is 1 ot just a liberal cocktail party but that mean something. new york state we have failed to dedicate resources to addressing this call to bring people here from all over the world to new york state. >> carley: this is affecting jamestown, new york. state senator, give us the specifics here. how many migrants are living in the area, and what are your concerns about them stretching city resources? >> well, the folks have come from -- we were told from the mexican border through new york city potentially into jamestown. this is word-of-mouth, we are

told. which right now roughly 35 folks i'm told and some in the community of concord and chicago county. but we have a large latino population for a rule area. but the reality is we don't have the resources peer of the governor, certainly the federal government dedicate hating resources. they are not allowed to work and they are not eligible for assistance from state government. that is creating problems for the local community. we try to mobilize and get local nonfor-profit to step up and help these folks. but again, this has been ignored by the federal government. governor kathy hochul said nothing about the surge of migrants in new york state in the recent state of the state address. they are trying to sweep this under the rug we want to get these folks help it at the same time, a recognition of the problem created by the lawlessness at the border and by this declaration of us being a sanctuary state.

>> todd: . >> todd: state senator, isn't this the democratic plan all along? at the migrants in the interior of the country. there is no better example of the tear then jamestown, new york, and nowhere near the coast. isn't that the plan all along? >> look, i understand that every community now is a border community. it is visited to every state all across this nation. we need to recognize that. we need to recognize the failure of the biden administration and the failure of these liberal policies he is creating strains on every single community that has to deal with the situation. so, no one is immune no matter where you are. >> carley: listening to the migrants themselves, "i was in detention two months and i met a colonial who told me to come to jamestown." how are they hearing about the community and what happens if this continues? >> we have to understand

new york state has done a lot to attract these migrants. it is illegal for members of law enforcement to essentially ask anyone for their immigration status. new york state allows undocumented to have drivers licenses and other things. so the bottom line is, new york state has done everything to attract those around the world. we have to dedicate real resources and figure out a way for the government to expedite these claims of asylum. we do everything we can to ensure these folks are not left living in poverty and squalor. >> todd: senator, do you know how these migrants are getting to new york? are they are organized buses from charity organization, or are they just taking orders? >> i don't know. you talk about the mexican border 2,000 miles away. how they get there is a question. i know governor hochul have been
