seven high schools in all. which make up about 25% of all the high school students in fairfax county, turns out their schools didn't tell anybody. and so now what -- apparently the counselors and the principals because they have been caught doing something terrible. now they are calling those colleges, that kid submitted the thing and got it in on time we didn't tell you about this. we're bad. but we had a good reason. >> ainsley: there are four also in loudoun county and two in prince william county that didn't notify the kids. and you asked them why? one mom said she called the head of special services at the school we didn't want to hurt the other students' feelings. these kids worked their tails off. they might have gotten scholarship money if they had gone on with the process and that might have helped them. some of these kids might not have been able to afford college without scholarship. they are saying it's a mistake. is it a mistake when 11, 12

the price. the abc affiliate down in washington, they have got a story that says apparently they hired, fairfax county schools did, at the price of $450,000 in equity coach. also they are spending $20,000 to have people speak to the teachers on zoom about equity. here's one of the things that the governor said toe channel 7, he said they have a maniacal focus on equal outcomes for all students at all cost. the reality is we have a superintendent in fairfax schools explicitly stated her top objective is equal outcomes to all students regardless of the price. that $450,000 for liberal consult toongt come in and teach the administrators in fairfax county how to do this. what appears happen is principals and schools decided that they were going to systematically withhold accolades and a path to college admissions and scholarships from high performing students. >> brian: absolutely sinful. it stops teachers. when a kid i was able to
