the difference. kamala harris, ladies and gentlemen, our vice president . ca that's it for us . >> unfortunately, i'd loveing to spend a little more time getting to theto t etymology of the name camilla. camilla carmilla, who thought that up. ha left. have the best time with theve t ones you love. wehe will see you tomorrow b.se. we're going to hannity. and tonight, john kerry is once again jetting around the world and all those carbon emissions to save the planet, this time at the anti-american world economic forum in europe. we'll have details, by the way, after getting canned at fake news, cnn, humpty dumpty, he's there attempting to put the pieces of his life back together again as he is at the wef hosting a wta disinformation seminar.
11:01 pm
after all, he's an expert. meanwhile, here at home, one democratic lawmaker introduced legislation to criminalize freedom of speech while part of the constitution. does that, congresswoman, not understand? and stay tuned for tonight's hannity hotseat featuring democrat richard fowler. now, we begin tonight, though, with a fox news alert. >> a bombshell new report from the wall street journal has now exposed a blatant dual system of justice at joe biden's department of justice. tonight, we are learning that the justice department rejected a federal search for top secret classified documents. house at joe biden's many properties. the they called off the fbi. no raid for joey. joe biden gets different treatment of trump. instead, they outsource the search to biden's own private attorneys and biden staffers, including many without any security clearance at all whatsoever. now, in the so the private attorneys, well, they can now be witnesses in a criminal investigation.
11:02 pm
and according to jonathan turley, who will join us in a moment, quote, the use of private counsel without clearances following the first discovery could itself be viewed as reckless and grossmith. but at this point, biden's doj doesn't really seem to care because, quote, mr. biden's attorneys had quickly turned over a first batch and they were cooperating. right. they quickly turned over a first batch six years after the documents were taken from their rightful home. of course, the same leniency was never in the cards for donald trump. remember the former president was cooperating with federal officials inquiring about documents potentially at mar-a-lago. he invited them to his home. he allowed unfettered access to the documents. fbi agents actually were free and clear and went in the room where the documents eventually were found and they never asked for them. even though they were there. trump then secured the documents with a padlock in that room at their request.
11:03 pm
and yet in the early morning hours of august the 8th, a tactical team from the fbi raided mar-a-lago guns drawn as they searched through melania's closet and barens bedroom. and they left no stone unturned and took whatever they wanted by force. and that one include the president's passport. by the way, the attorney general, merrick garland, the fbi director , ray, they said and bragged about signing off on this raid at mar-a-lago, but they were unwilling to do the same for joe biden, who , by the way, why didn't they tell us when he knew six days before the midterm elections? now, apparently, they want you and all of us to just trust that joe biden and his attorneys and his aides are going to do the right thing. but joe biden almost never does the right thing. he is a notorious liar with very few principles or morals. he won't even acknowledge his own four year old granddaughter or grant her secret service protection. but we just supposed to take his word for it in this document investigation.
11:04 pm
now, remember, it is now well established that joe biden is vice president , met with at least 14 of hunter biden, sketchy foreign business partners. he then flat out lied repeatedly about those meetings, denied any knowledge of ever been speaking to his son about his foreign business ventures. of course, joe biden was the centerpiece of those ventures as admitted in an interview on abc. >> take a look in the list. you gave me the reasons why you're on that board. you did not list the fact that you were the son, of course. what role do you think that played? i think that it is impossible for me to be on any of the boards were just mentioned without saying i'm the son of the vice president of the united states . >> if your last name wasn't biden, do you think he would have been asked to be on the board of charisma? i don't know. i don't know. probably not. i don't think that there's a lot of things that would have happened in my life that that if my last name is important. >> in that very interview, he admitted he had no experience of oil or gas or energy or ukraine or the energy sector at
11:05 pm
all or sophisticated investing. absolutely. no experience, zero experience. hunter was selling access to his dad. that's called influence peddling. it has a real name. and in 2017, when hunter was still raking in money from many of these sketchy foreign business partners, a document obtained by miranda devine and the daily caller shows that joe biden was purportedly collecting fifty thousand dollars in rent per month at his delaware home from his own son . why now? it's not palm beach and it's not malibu, california. this is true. and hunter was actually paying perhaps 50 grand a month to rent a room in delaware that i think we all know how the big guy was taking his cut. and get this, according to a report from john solomon hunter and at least one of his business associates, they discussed joe biden's earnings potential and wealth creation in an email chain titled j.
11:06 pm
r b future job stands for joseph robinette biden. and apparently the future plans heavily involve the communist party of china. not only did china contribute tens and tens of millions of dollars to the university of pennsylvania after the establishment of the biden center. sixty seven million in total to the university, forty seven point seven million once. joe biden was out of office. but hunter also scored a lucrative deal with the chinese energy firm, and that included that five million interest free, forgivable loan. this was in addition to the one hundred thousand dollar shopping spree with the chinese national. and by the way, we can't forget the multibillion dollar sweetheart deal with the bank of china. no explanation why they didn't go to goldman sachs, jp morgan, deutsche bank or maybe a real firm. so, yeah, top secret documents lying around the penn center and in joe's garage and in his library and in his other house.
11:07 pm
that's deeply concerning. but according to many in the mob, the media and democrats, it's no big deal at all. we just have to trust joe biden. they only have one true boogeyman in all of this. and his name, when all else fails and the dog bites and the bee stings and you're feeling sad, you got to blame donald trump. >> take a look at the intelligence community needs to do its risk and damage assessment about how donald trump's reckless handling of these documents might have harmed our national security. they find the documents they reported immediately of four different situations than donald trump's. >> anybody who says it's not is a political if the trump people represented that they provided all the classified or national security information and didn't ,that's a serious problem as far as we can tell, that it was inadvertent, that these documents were in these locations when they were discovered, they were immediately provided to the archives or to the justice department. there was no effort to hold on to them, no effort to conceal them. >> this was not a mistake that
11:08 pm
these documents landed at mar-a-lago. this is what he intended. and it also, by the way, shows that they really want to get these documents back . and every second that they're at this beach house in the possession of donald trump is a risk to our national security. >> well, he should have said, you look, i know i look hypocritical in that tape. yeah, i'm sorry about that. by the way, all those people are all political hacks. now, luckily, we have an honest press secretary with a very solid grasp of the facts who's committed to transparency. only kidding. over the last two weeks, karine jean-pierre er has sadly embarrassed herself over and over as she is attempted again and again to stonewall the press and has told, let's just charitably call them untruths to the american people. >> take a look what i can tell you right now. is what the president is , is share with you what the president said to all of you. right. which is he was surprised by this.
11:09 pm
he definitely truly respects the process here. and also, when it comes to classified, he takes classified documents very seriously. that search was completed last night. and now this is in the hands of the justice department that it has been completed. and you should assume that it's been completed. yes. wait, they completed the the search were documents being found last night. i have answered your questions as almost every day on this issue. and again, anything else that you may have, anything that's related to the review? i would refer you to the department, just as you guys can ask me this one hundred times. two hundred times, if you wish. >> i'm going to keep saying the same thing. are you upset that you came out to this podium on friday with incomplete and inaccurate information? and are you concerned that it affects your credibility? what i'm what i'm concerned about is making sure that we do not politically interfere in the department of justice, that we continue to be consistent over the last two years.
11:10 pm
and that is continue to refer you all when it comes to an ongoing process. >> and i'll just leave it there. so obviously, we're not going to hear the truth from the biden administration. in any way. that's why investigations in the house are critically important. here now with the very latest on those investigations, house oversight committee chairman james comey. congressman, let's start with what we now know. it's not one location. it's now for location. your reaction? well, this just shows how irresponsible the president is . it shows that they haven't been truthful. the only reason we know about these documents is because of investigative reporting. at cbs, someone leaked to cbs that joe biden had these documents. now, that in itself should be part of the investigation because we don't know who had access to these documents. and for the democrats to go on national television and say ,well, the president did the right thing, he immediately turned them over november the 2nd.
11:11 pm
why did we not find out about it until 60 plus days? later? and then we only found out about it because of an investigative report. it wasn't because they stood up at the press conference and said they had done this. we would never know about this. we don't know that there were only five documents initially just because joe biden's personal attorneys who , by the way, don't have national security clearance, said they found these classified documents and did the right thing and turn them in. that doesn't mean anything to me and it shouldn't mean much to the american people. >> congressman, you stated that the national archives is stonewalling on the biden document scandal. and what is your take on hunter's 50 thousand dollars a month payment? a total of five hundred eighty thousand dollars, apparently not indicated on joe biden's tax returns in terms of rent money that he's paying his own father. and that's i can understand that down in florida, on an oceanfront property or malibu, california, silicon valley.
11:12 pm
but i really don't get delaware getting that kind of rent for one room. yeah, that doesn't make sense. we're looking into that's one reason we've requested bank documents, bank records, we're looking into the suspicious activity reports. we're going to be looking tax records just like the house ways and means committee did the former president trump. we're going to continue to look into this in all other areas of revenue from joe biden and from the biden family. look, you said it great in your monologue. on this family's been involved in influence peddling for a decade and they've received millions of dollars from anonymous sources in china. that's very concerning. you know, we know that for a fact. now, the question is how much of that trickle down to joe biden? and that's a major part of our investigation. once we get these bank records and bank documents, we'll start holding our public hearings. and i think the american people will learn a lot about what influence peddling is and how much involved. joe biden was with the family influence peddling schemes. >> congressman, you sent
11:13 pm
a letter to fbi director wray urging the fbi to investigate hunter's relationship with a suspected chinese spy, jackie . >> his last name is baeo. what can you tell us about this person of interest? >> we're looking into her. i've reached out to people on the intelligence committee that have a little higher security clearance. you know, this is something that that should be very concerning. this has a lot of similarities to the eric swalwell situation. she is she was born in america. she went to china to to a university, the university that has a reputation of developing their spies in developing their cyber attackers and things like that. once she graduated, she went to work for the ccp. that was on her resume. she worked here. this is a speculation. we know that she worked there for several years and then moved back to the united . and lo and behold, she started working for her and how they met, i have no idea. but she worked for her body on the laptop.
11:14 pm
one of the things we presented at the press conference was a powerpoint presentation of the united states written in chinese all the major locations of natural gas distributors. and it was a powerpoint for a plan for the biden family with joe being the big guy. this is the deal that joe was supposed to be the big guy and they were going to help not only sell liquefied natural gas to ccp, but they were also going to help the chinese start taking investment in the drillers for natural gas. this is an opportunity for the bidens to help china get their foot in the door on the infrastructure of our energy industry in america. this should be very concerning. >> and this is another reason we're investigating this family . >> i'm going to make a prediction, congressman. it's going to be your investigation that chose joe biden, lied to the american people when he said he never had even a conversation with his son or any family member about their farm business dealings. and it's going to come down to the money and the money will prove that money came from china and russia.
11:15 pm
and kazakhstan and ukraine. and joe biden. this will be influence peddling. that will be the charge. that's my prediction. let's see if i'm right. we appreciate you being on . congressman coleman. thank you. also breaking tonight, fake news. cnn now reporting federal investigators interviewed the biden attorney who first discovered the documents. does that mean he is now a witness to a potential crime ? interesting observation from our own contributor, jonathan turley, on this very issue. so my understanding is you have the guy that found the first document being an attorney , but we're being told that aides and other attorneys are looking for other documents, some of whom don't even have a security clearance. jonathan . right. all of this gets curiouser and curiouser by the day. you know, that report involving that attorney indicated that this interview occurred, but there was no three to which is the type of document that many of us use in criminal
11:16 pm
defense. it is the essentially the record created in criminal cases by fbi agents. >> so this was treated as a very informal interview. the fact is that by november 2nd, they had found highly classified documents. they did not know how many more existed. they did know that these documents likely had been transferred more than once and that they had been out there for probably six years. so in the midst of all of that, according to the "wall street journal", they were offered the opportunity to search the biden residence. >> now, why on earth would the fbi not take that opportunity? i mean, what is the possible reason for saying, no, we're really not inclined to do that. you're embarrassing us . you you go ahead and do it. it's just it's bizarre. and so not only did they allow uncleared lawyers to look for highly classified information, but those lawyers then continue to find them over 60 days.
11:17 pm
and the fbi doesn't seem to have done a thing for the world. >> just breaking, by the way, just to be clear , federal investigators did interview biden's attorney who initially discovered the classified documents. you're a democrat, jonathan . i want to talk about a double standard, the rate of mar-a-lago. the fbi had already been in the room where they found, quote, the documents. they had unfettered access to that room. they said, would you mind putting a padlock on the door? the trump team complied. why the raid? why does hillary clinton have all of those documents, many more than were found on donald trump's property. top secret classified emails on servers. thirty three thousand deleted emails with bleach, but we never discovered devices destroyed with hammers and sim cards missing as well. >> that didn't seem to be a big deal to the media or democrats at the time. it was a big deal with donald trump. and once again, we're getting a series of excuses from democrats. >> is that a double standard?
11:18 pm
>> well, i think there's really great concerns here. you know, when i said that the fbi didn't do a thing, i was talking about doing something in terms of actual searches and securing these documents. the fact is that when it came to searching for the documents, they continued to say, no, use your private counsel, uncleared unknown persons. they were doing the interviews. they were eventually assigning a us attorney to look at this. but the documents themselves, the search for those documents remained in private counsel's hands. and that works to the advantage of the president. it means that all those initial discoveries we will have to take the word of counsel, of how they were found, the conditions they were found and whether they were observable with classification. >> there are witnesses for their case there. >> they become a witness at that point, right? >> yeah. and look, the comparison to the trump mar-a-lago situation, there's obviously differences here. according to the fbi, they believe false statements
11:19 pm
were made. there is obstruction. those are differences. but there's also similarities. and we don't know the full extent of similarities because we don't know much, because we're not getting a lot of answers here from from the government side. those documents are mar-a-lago were housed in a storage room that was protected by secret service. the fbi had no idea where the rest of these documents were. and is not inclined to send agents to look as opposed to unknown uncleared private counsel. >> jonathan turley, as always, great insight. we appreciate you being with us. all right. time now for the hannity hot seat. the topic is the media treating biden. are they treating biden differently than donald trump and hillary clinton on the subject of classified material? here to answer, fox news contributor richard fowler. explain to me, richard, if it is such a big deal , why in july of 2016, when james comey laid out all of hillary's top secret classify information email chains on her server, now
11:20 pm
that we know we never found the thirty three thousand emails that she deleted bleach bit or the devices destroyed with hammers or the sim cards removed, that was no no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute in that case. then we have the mar-a-lago raid. now we've got three instances, four separate locations of top secret documents with biden as a democrat, can you be intellectually honest enough to admit there's a double standard? >> well, first of all, you're mixing a lot of different stories here. >> let's start with the three different people with top secret classified information actually in the treatment. >> urie. so you can keep up. you're right. you're keeping up. you're right. there are three different people. so let's start with the three different individuals. in the case of hillary clinton, seven days before the general election. james comey comes out and says there are more emails indicating that there might be some nefarious activity, nefarious activity done by the
11:21 pm
former secretary of state. one would argue that that could have cost hillary clinton the election and some of the hillary camp would say it did cost her the election. slow down. she'll have to go back . my sources told me my sources told me at the time, remember, he exonerated her in july of 2016. >> but the reason we're talking ,anthony came back , the anthony lab with shows before each election that they had not looked at seven days. >> it was my understanding there were also some of the same. let me finish from new york law enforcement that they were going to break the story. so comey had no choice. >> and that was seven days before the general election and after the fbi did a sweep of that and after the fbi did a sweep of that laptop days before the election, they found that there was no nefarious activity. but was already too late. and there's a lot of folks out there that believe that that caused hillary clinton the general election. >> this is might not answer. my general question is , i know you're not trying to compare hillary clinton elect
11:22 pm
to hillary clinton, never had her home raided, nor did joe biden. >> it's the same exact thing. hillary clinton, the fbi was in mar-a-lago. >> they had unfettered access. hillary clinton testified in front of a congressional panel for 17 hours. hillary clinton also testified in her home was raided. a u.s. attorney keepa, testified for the u.s. attorney for a number of hours . >> i'm getting ready to get to donald trump. if you allow me to get somebody down, we get to former president , then we get to former president donald trump over the summer that the national archives sent him a number of letters saying, mr. president , you have documents that we'd like to get back . >> the president and his team ignored, ignored those ignored those letters. finally then his lawyers sent a letter saying, we've sent you all those documents back . the national archives said, no, you have not actually found out. let me refresh your memory. we don't have a lot of time. sure. if you recall before the raid or shortly before the raid,

the fbi was in the very room where those those classified documents were found. >> they would not be happy about the there. they didn't need to write letters. they saw it all. they could have taken it with them that day. but this is a photo they chose not to know. they asked for a padlock. they got the padlock and then comes the raid. anyway, joe biden and hillary clinton were not treated that way. >> i'll give you the last to be clear , too. sure. to be clear , this is not under the jurisdiction of the fbi when it comes to classified documents and the presidential records act. that's under the jurisdiction of the national archives. the national archives said the president, we need to be clear . the fbi, a federal judge, a federal judge issued a subpoena and the subpoena was served, was not a raid under democratic administrations. only rated one one president or one presidential candidate, and that was trump. and the other candidates got different treatment, not
