president can do. as you point out, bill, a rental dollars now are declining. the amount of rent costs are going down in multiple cities across the country. so maybe a crazy time to do this but that's what they are pushing right now. good to see you. >> welcome back, jeff flock. >> dana: good to be with you today. harris faulkner is up next with "the faulkner focus." here she is. >> harris: fox news alert now. they worked on keeping it quiet for 68 days. president biden and his personal team of lawyers had a collection and were cherry picking what the public would be allowed to know about all the classified documents found in the president's personal spaces. the administration's silence on all this during that time while they were going through stuff and collecting documents is raising a lot of questions about a cover-up. i'm harris faulkner and you are in "the faulkner focus." they are still stonewalling
8:01 am
journalists and the public with questions that we want answers to. for instance, how did the documents get to all those different locations? who was moving those documents around for years? how many people could have seen them? what exactly is in them? could there be more documents coming? no answers, but this question. >> is president biden involved in a cover-up? >> we have been very clear here from this administration, the president has been very clear that he takes this very seriously when it comes to classified information. any other underlying questions that you may have i would refer you to my colleagues, the white house counsel. i will continue to be prudent and consistent and refer you to any questions you have there. >> harris: house and senate republicans officially requesting now the secret service list of visitors to the president's wilmington, delaware
8:02 am
home. the white house says it doesn't keep a log and fox news, a source told us but the secret service does. if congress asks we'll give it over. the f.b.i. and the president's team both found documents at that house in wilmington. the house oversight and judiciary chairman asked the white house counsel for information on all that classified material. the response was pretty much stand by. quote, we are reviewing your recent letters with the goal of seeking to accommodate legitimate oversight interest within the committee's ju jurisdiction. we look forward to engaging in good faith. one heck of a pause button we're trying to push. one republican worries this is the tip of the iceberg. >> first i cleaned my garage. the most concerning point is that the president appeared to be a disorganized slob that doesn't even know where his
8:03 am
stuff is. it could be a never-ending story of confidential files sitting across the country. you have to get that under control. it whats to start from the top. so he ain't leading by example. >> harris: fire there. the president's own political party has had it. one headline today democrats turn on biden over classified document controversy. peter doocy is live at the white house. peter, the latest. >> the latest is white house officials are signaling president biden still intends to give it a go in 2024 even though they acknowledge they are in uncharted territory. >> is there a precedent for people running for president after f.b.i. agents search their sock drawer? >> sounds like you already know the answer to that questions. >> we don't have answers how president biden manageed to export classified materials to his house as a senator or why it is that the white house waited so long to go public about these documents at the same time they
8:04 am
claim they were just inadvertently misfiled? >> i want to know why the press wasn't told about this event days before the 2022 election? they had found out that there were classified information in biden's home days before the 2022 election and they sat on it. that's what i want to understand. and if you come to my house, you will find chick-fil-a bags all over the floor but no classified information. >> white house officials have responded to one of the letters they got from the house oversight committee chairman writing that they will talk soon about cooperating with legitimate oversight requests. sounds like white house officials will be the ones deciding what they think is legitimate and what is not. to date the president's personal lawyers have been running the show. >> when you found out that the f.b.i. had located even more classified materials in wilmington, which four letter word did you use? >> oh my goodness, peter.
8:05 am
>> she probably couldn't have said it on tv anyway. we expect another press briefing with her in about two hours. >> harris: it wasn't the hardest news of the whole piece but that line from senator graham if you go to his house you'll find bags of chick-fil-a all over the place. >> i've been to a chick-fil-a with lindsey graham and that's probably true. >> harris: questions over a double standard of justice. many say the d.o.j. has treated president biden with kid gloves. of course. a far cry from how they handled president trump's document scandal. attorney general merrick garland insisting the department is blind to any political party affiliation. >> the department has a set of norms and practices. these are essential for us to continue. they insure we adhere to the rule of law.
8:06 am
these mean that we don't have different rules for democrats or republicans, different rules for the powerful or the powerless. different rules for the rich or the poor. we apply the facts and the law in each case in a neutral, nonpartisan manner. >> harris: welcome to biden's world where everybody is under pressure. pete hegseth co-host of "fox & friends" weekend. the closer you are to the president the more you are feeling the heat. >> for sure right now. when you look at the origins of this. was it nefarious, was it sloppy, was it dumb? ultimately were they targeted? but again, by political opponents who knew that they were either compromised or sloppy or dumb and had classified documents at the penn biden center and at their house and therefore leaked it? but it is the cover-up, harris, as we talked about before. orchestrated very poorly from the podium as bad as i've ever
8:07 am
seen it. it kicks more fire on the flame, wood on the fire. it creates more smoke so the press who is already frustrated they haven't been told the truth asks more questions and even more questions and then we learn that the agency is effectively -- merrick garland had to say that. the reality is the f.b.i. and d.o.j. targeted donald trump to prevent him from running for office and back lashed on them at mar-a-lago and treating what happened to joe biden as a protection racket so he can run again and getting on the off ramp but they haven't been. they were so sloppy, nefarious or bad with the documents. we don't know if there are other documents in other places aened from what time frame and the d.o.j. and f.b.i. seems happy to take the word of biden's lawyers, which is why it does feel like it is so much
8:08 am
different than what happened to donald trump. >> harris: unless the f.b.i. is paying those personal attorney they shouldn't be taking anybody's word than their own investigators. that's their job unless they are getting paid. if they are that would be our money. maybe we go deeper. i don't think they are. what else would be the reason for why at this point you don't tap every place he has ever been since he left office as a senator 15 years ago since you know some of the latest documents date back to then? why aren't you now going every place he has been? and by the way, who else has been with all those papers? maybe you have 1,000 places you need to go down depending how many hands touched them. >> he is the president of the united states, which does create complications. but it also increases the urgency. if the top man in the job was handling classified documents this flippantly for that long, why was that the case? was it really he didn't know? when you take something out of a scif if you are a senator you know exact will i what you are
8:09 am
doing and exact will i what you are doing and you are moving it -- you had to sneak it out or someone gave it to you with the wrong protocol which you were complicit in. then you don't even know how many you have and you have clearly hidden them from the public. you are the president of the united states as was stated earlier. if at the very top there is no accountability, why should there be for the sub march ener who took photos in a submarine, just had them and they wanted to throw away the key on the guy. that's the two tiers that exist. this will haunt the biden campaign. it connects dots to hunter and foreign interference or foreign influence. if anyone in the press outside of this network does any homework, the smoke is right there. the question is will they do it? biden's political opponents know that weakness and they'll continue to foment it.
8:10 am
>> harris: the worst part so far that legal experts have told me, pete, is finding the papers or the documents from when he was senator. because while an old edict by former president obama might have given cover to hillary clinton and the current president when he was v.p. and took the papers. the ones he took as senator are more problematic than any of them except for the top secret ones that the biden center that were about iran and so on and so forth. texas senator ted cruz says the next step should be another search. >> the university of delaware has more than 1,850 boxes of records from joe biden's senate tenure. the university of delaware presumably does not have them in a scif or secure location. i am right now calling for the
8:11 am
department of justice, for the f.b.i. to examine all 1,850 boxes. >> harris: let's pause there. i will get to what you see on the screen in a second. i want to go back to pete. why are there not feds standing outside the university of delaware right now where there is 1850 boxes? >> it should be raided right now. it should be -- in a more urgent way than anything that happened at mar-a-lago because we knew there were secret service detail. they knew they were there. he with as the president and could declassify them. if there were 1,850 boxes of documents if they're there presumably other people have access to those boxes unless they are all in a scif. where they're not. there have to be other places at this point. that's why this is a trickle cascading problem for joe biden. because there are more boxes, there will be more documents.
8:12 am
all of which are violations. many of which probably do emanate from the senate and cause people to ask even more questions. ted cruz is right. >> harris: a new report saying on top of having lax security visitors to the penn biden center were allowed to wonder around unmonitored during an event that focused on greater engagement with china. we'll leave that where it sits and let everybody ruminate on that. oh my goodness. people -- we have no idea who has been near that information. >> not to mention hunter's house that he rented back to joe. hunter had a lot of dicey friends. where did they go? >> harris: we don't know who was driving the stingray. he had access to the corvette and where those document were found at the wilmington delaware home. the two women with him. unless it's suddenly important to know. a reminder that pete is hosting
8:13 am
the miseducation of america. such a hot topic and so important. he takes a deep dive into efforts by liberals in this country to push a woke education agenda. something we will talk more about later this hour. season two just popped. it is available right now streaming on fox nation. pete hegseth. great to have you in "focus" and we'll tune in on the fox nation website app. even the liberal media are getting tired of the white house's game of dodge ball. the lefty anchors, those who wear that team jersey who tore into a white house official now. we'll show you. plus critics now letting this one go. >> a promise we made in the declaration of independence, that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the
8:14 am
pursuit of happiness. >> harris: did you catch that? the vice president edited the declaration of independence to push a pro-choice agenda. there is brutal backlash. we'll look at it again closer next. through the pandemic, getrefunds.com can see if it may qualify for a payroll tax refund of up to $26,000 per employee, even if it received ppp, and all it takes is eight minutes to get started. then we'll work with you to fill out your forms and submit the application; that easy. and if your business doesn't get paid, we don't get paid. getrefunds.com has helped businesses like yours claim over $2 billion but it's only available for a limited time. go to getrefunds.com, powered by innovation refunds.
8:19 am
>> harris: why so cranky? some in the liberal media are quite frustrated with the administration's dodging on the president's classified document scandal. here is some reaction to the white house special counsel spokesman. >> we're following d.o.j.'s lead throughout this investigation. we're deferring to the justice department to answer some of these questions. i think it is more appropriate
8:20 am
for questions about the underlying investigation to be addressed by the justice department. we're following the d.o.j.'s lead and cooperative with that process. i won't get ahead of the process in questions like that. >> i'm still confused. i'm still confused. they'll let us know. >> i did not know that karine jean-pierre had a relative working at the white house. they both say the same thing over and over. a new op-ed says president biden is losing allies fast. he is now america's condescending snl posturing utterly shameless liar in chief and even the mainstream media know he has brought his mighty office low. he must go. i think most of that rhymes. power panel richard fowler and -- announce his 2024 plans he is losing allies.
8:21 am
what is your reaction? >> this is not a good day for the oval office here. what the president is dealing with as more documents come out and the drip continues is how he navigates the media storm on this. beyond that we're waiting for the special counsel to start. as this investigation ensues the president will have to answer questions on how he got -- where these documents were and where they weren't. i think that will be problematic for him. i think he is going to have to answer the questions. there are a lot of democrats on capitol hill that want to know. let us know where these document came from and give us a fact pattern here so we can move forward. >> harris: is that what you want to know or do you think the bar is too high for the president? >> i don't think the bar is too high. the fact that he called the national archives when he found these documents. the fact he went to the justice department and the fact he is working with the d.o.j. and the fact he invited the f.b.i. to come in and search his delaware home and there will be more searches in the next couple of days shows he is willing to work
8:22 am
with investigators to come to the end of this. >> harris: if you took classified documents do you think you would get to invite the f.b.i.? a scone and tea event. let's go to gianno. >> the american people are tired of the double standards. i hear most of what richard was saying and i don't buy the narrative that the white house has been putting out that they are just so helpful to the f.b.i. and inviting them into the house to look around for transparency standards. no, if you tell me that you found original boxes in the biden penn center that i used to go into 101 constitution every week. security there is a luxury condo building in washington, d.c., if you are going to -- seriously. if you are going to tell us
8:23 am
that, why would you send attorneys there? that's the question not answered. why would you even think the $1 thousand an hour attorneys there. in addition to that we continue to see where our secrets spilled and assessment what china might have gained from the classified documents he has had in his office. countries in the middle east or wherever else. what have we lost potentially? >> harris: did joe biden look at the papers. the secret service might help everybody out since if they are asked they say they'll turn over the logs at the wilmington, delaware home which they kept them. quickly, i'm more basic than that. when the president was first asked about this it was said he couldn't remember that those documents were at ten biden center. he didn't know what was there. he was surprised. that's the quote. that's really disturbing. because the tronch of documents that might be outside of his
8:24 am
memory or immediate knowledge, something that would surprise him might be those older than 15 years old when he was in the senate. those were only recently found in the last couple of days. after the white house press secretary said the search was over. all right, one last one for you and we'll move. the university of delaware according to senator ted cruz of the great state of texas as 1,850 boxes. you said you are waiting, richard, for the special counsel to get started. that person, robert hur could start there. >> a couple points here. the first point is you already have a u.s. attorney appointed by trump on this. i think gianno brings up a good point. there is an overall assessment. a lot of classified could float around with hillary clinton, president trump and the sitting president. we need to know what documents are out there and sources and methods and impact to foreign
8:25 am
policies and enemies around. so if we do an assessment of one but all to figure out how many documents are out there. what should be classified and what shouldn't be classified and what impact does president trump having them, biden having them former secretary of state hillary clinton what effect does it have on foreign policy after all? >> harris: i don't think anybody would argue about that. it is about national security. only one if maybe two of those people on that list, the current president and maybe also hillary clinton previous to her time as a civilian here now, took things that they shouldn't have. that should have been a scif. that's the way it works for senators. let me finish it. so biden's taking something 15 years old or older, he was last in the senate at that time. gianno i want you to finish with that point. it is an important one because you can't cover for that. you can't do that as a senator. you have to sign a piece of
8:26 am
paper that says you won't do that and somehow get it out of the scif, the protective room. >> you are absolutely right, the fact that it was irresponsible with donald trump tells you everything you need to know about joe biden's double standard. he believes it's okay for him but not okay for anyone else. not only that you also have to keep in mind donald trump had secret service protection, national archives knew he had those documents there and they put a lock on the cabinet. so that's -- >> that's not what happened. >> the media continues to try to cover up for joe biden. >> harris: trump was never a senator who took papers, bottom line. >> the f.b.i. asked to put a lock on the cabinet when the national archives asked for the document. they wanted the document back. the former president refused to give them back. that's the fact pattern there. >> harris: last word.
8:27 am
>> i think at this time we need to get a special assessment and special counsel needs to check every area that biden has been in since he was a u.s. senator to see if there is any other documents floating out there. it has a great impact on our country. >> harris: richard, i love your level of curiosity. maybe you can explain to me why one president gets a raid and the other gets them to invite them in for tea and scones. >> it wasn't a raid it was a subpoena. >> harris: if i did that to your house you would say there is a raid on my front porch. seven people have passed away. another has been injured after a mass shooting in half moon bay, california. that's just south of san francisco yesterday. it is the second massacre in california in just three days. police in northern california yesterday took the suspected

gunman into custody saying he shot and killed the seven people at two separate farms. officials say they believe he was a disgruntled employee at one of the locations. investigators saying he turned himself into the sheriff's department and is cooperating. this shooting happened just 48 hours after the monterey park massacre in southern california where 11 people died. those tragedies unfolding despite california having some of the strictest gun laws in america. isn't this rich. the pampered and privileged lives of the suspects now charged with domestic terrorism in atlanta, georgia's anti-police riots. most of them don't even live there. and florida's governor defending his state's decision to block an advanced placement class of african-american studies saying it is woke. you know what happened. >> teaching kids facts and how to think. we don't believe they should
8:29 am
have an agenda imposed on them. when you trow i to use black history to shoe horn in queer theory, you are clearly trying to use that for political purposes. >> harris: you know what happens to woke in florida. the woke agenda desantis said it is hiding inside the curriculum. we'll get into it with raymond arroyo. ♪ veteran homeowners, have you looked at the interest rates on your credit cards lately? get ready for a shock. the rate on credit cards is now over 22%. if you want to save hundreds of dollars every month, pay off the balances on your high-rate cards with a lower rate va home loan from newday usa and get the financial peace of mind every veteran deserves. no one takes care of veterans like newday usa.

(tony hawk) skating for over 45 years has taken a toll on my body. i take qunol turmeric because it helps with healthy joints and inflammation support. why qunol? it has superior absorption compared to regular turmeric. qunol. the brand i trust. >> harris: no bond for you is what a judge ruled for four of the six suspects police arrested for their roles in the violent rioting in atlanta over the weekend. those rioters lit police cars on fire, set of fireworks, smashed
8:35 am
windows, threw bricks. four of them have never lived in georgia, two are not living there now in the state but have ties to it. the judge called all of them a flight risk if he granted them bond. the judge charged them with felonies of domestic terrorism, arson in the first degree, criminal damage in the second degree and interference with government property. he is not playing around. we're learning more about the suspect's pampered and privileged backgrounds before they traveled to a city to allegedly burn it down. the "new york post" reports one of the suspects was born and raised in a wealthy suburb outside of portland. another served as the at-large chair at al gore's climate reality project. another lived in his parents' multi-million dollar mansion in maine before he was arrested. his father is a big yachter. we've seen democrats repeatedly make excuses for antifa.
8:36 am
they argue they are loosely organized. >> antifa is an idea, not an organization. >> it is across the whole country. what is happening in perthland. >> that's a myth. >> we look at antifa as more an ideology and movement more than an organization. >> harris: all right. and some of the reporting has put loose ties between those suspects and antifa and that's why we focus on that. but overall, raymond arroyo fox news contributor in "focus", overall is that the privileged got stepped on at this time. the people in atlanta aren't joking around. >> ideas have consequences. all of these people who were arrested. i will run through their educational background. one is a banyard college graduate. another the san francisco

conservatory of music, nyu grad violinist one is the daughter of a faculty or dean. they were trained, fed these ideas of revolution and that they need to go out and to protest, create violence in the streets and chaos. what strikes me here is they are purportedly protesting against a law enforcement training facility. their actions underscore and justify why atlanta needs a law enforcement training facility. they are really countering their own argument. but it is not about making arguments in public. it is about sewing seeds of chaos and destruction as a means of protest and i guess taking down the police and law enforcement in the name of richly justice. they've been fed this at these institutions and we have to look at that and i'm glad they are being prosecuted to the full extent of the law as the domestic terrorists they are.
8:38 am
>> harris: so what i am confused about why didn't they keep it at home? why travel to a different state and export all of that? >> because as we heard them say a moment ago, this is an ideology. it crosses states and hometowns. look, we saw it in new orleans. the entire movement to take down monuments that we've seen throughout the south in virginia, take them down. that group is largely out-of-towners who came into the southern towns and demanded these statues be stricken. history is taken away so you can't -- the sins and glories and then you get to remake it in your own image. that's what's really happening here. you see the sad consequences on the streets. >> harris: redefining things. we have oh he seen the left do that over and over again and defund the police and reallocate funds. florida governor ron desantis is defending his state's rejection of an advanced placement course
8:39 am
said to teach black history. >> we have guidelines and standards in florida. we want education not in indoctrination. this course on black history, what is one of the lessons about? queer theory. now, who would say that an important part of black history is queer theory? that is somebody pushing an agenda on our kids. and so when you look to see they have stuff about intersexinality, abolishing prisons is a political agenda. >> the white house press secretary said this last week. >> if you think about the study of black americans, that's what he wants to block. they didn't block a.p. european history or block music history or art history. but the state chooses to block a course that is meant for high achieving high school students to learn about their history of arts and culture and it is, you
8:40 am
know, it is incomprehensible. >> harris: a new op-ed argues governor desantis was right to reject that course. this fight isn't about blocking history or erasing the country's sins but drawing a line about truthful instruction of the american past. >> i am from new orleans and live here now. we have a rich history and black americans history is at the center of that. that has to be celebrated and should be magnified but when you dig into this curriculum. this history class it is being used as a trojan horse to push ideology. when they talk about blm or reparations or taking down prisons. the abolishments of prisons. that's not part of black history. we want to celebrate the glories of black history, innovators. if you or i came along and said black history, we'll do a

chapter on juris prudeens of chairens thomas. people will lose their stuff. you isolate one facet of the history to the exclusion of everything else. that is what is happening here. an ideological lens is being used to see the black history. there is much more there. there is much more nuance and colors and glories there that should be examined, explored but we can't collapse into the political and ideological right off the bat. a disservice to our kids and to african-americans and the people that should be celebrated. >> harris: raymond arroyo, critics tearing into vice president kamala harris for leaving out the word life when quoting the declaration of independence. the omission happened during a speech she gave marking the 50th anniversary of roe v. wade. watch. >> america is a promise.
8:42 am
it is a promise of freedom and liberty. not for some, but for all. a promise we made in the declaration of independence. that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness. >> harris: maybe she forgot the word life. a "washington examiner" op-ed is calling harris out with this headline. she awkwardly admits she is anti-life. arguing, quote, the entire left is on policing language. i feel like the previous and this topic are akin to one another. >> you bet. ideology being used here to advance an abortion argument. that abortion argument in the vice president's mouth relies on sins of omission, not only did

katie hobs down in arizona. if she flips the switch on that putting the money into the backpack of a child and letting parents make choices, that really changes the game right when they were about to get a footing. why is that so hard? >> harris, unfortunately it comes down to one thing. power. the current environment is saturated with adults who have power and that power means they decide where the money goes. unfortunately we needed education sis times designed for kids not adults. >> harris: i look at where you and i and so many people across america who are culturally, racially diverse. they are americans first. we didn't have the woke stuff in school. we got math and reading. one wasn't part of the
