they have failed in that plays from adam schiff using a position of the intel chair, lying to the american public again and again. swalwell, you all know does not or should not have the responsibility to serve on the intel committee. they put the national security ahead of partisan politics. integrity matters. we will make the intel committee back to what it was supposed to be. >> today, those after mentioned democrats held a press conference on being booted. it was a sad affair. alleging this was merely an act of political retaliation by mccarthy. in other words, they were basically owed these positions. >> it will only breed distrust within the intelligence community as to what it can share and what it can feel confident about sharing with the congress. >> our mission is to restore the credibility of this institution

of which the speaker has so gravely, so gravely, smashed and destroyed. >> so gravely smashed. not only do they have no right to be on that committee and we're placed on other committees, but concerns over the misuse of intelligence are extremely valid. schiff, who as intel chairman, had all the evidence he needed, falsely claimed in a public memo that the fbi did not abuse the fisa process. later, the doj inspector general released the results of his own investigation exposing that memo as patently false. schiff also played an integral role in claiming that the contents of the hunter biden laptop were part of a russian disinformation packet. >> we know that this whole smear on joe biden comes from the kremlin. that has been clear for well over a year now that they have

been pushing this false narrative about the vice president and his son. >> look at wolf blitzer taking him seriously. we now know, of course, that was a lie. there is nothing in the laptop that has been disproven. but of course that is not all. during the course of the january 6th hearings, so-called, schiff was caught altering text messages. he altered them between congressman jim jordan and white house chief of staff mark meadows. the committee was subsequently forced to admit that the texts as presented to the public in a big made-for-tv moment, were false. and then there is paying paying's lover eric swalwell. mccarthy's justification for booting him is even more ironclad. he was compromised by a chinese intelligence operative that he also happened to be sleeping with. >> the fbi was concerned about putting a member of congress on the intel committee because of his knowledge and relationship

with a chinese spy. eric swalwell being in the private sector cannot get security clearance they are. we are not going to provide him with the secrets to america. >> so true. he couldn't get one in the private sector. today at the pathetic presser schiff refused to address the claims by mccarthy because they are true. while swalwell chose to level a bizarre threat to mccarthy. >> we will not be quiet. we are not going away. you cannot regret giving all three of us more time on our hands. >> did swalwell me in he will have more time to sleep with more chinese spies? or does he mean he will give up even more american secrets now? both seem like valid questions, right? joining me now is indiana congressman jim banks and florida congressman byron donald. thanks for being here. congressman banks, let's ask it point blank.

are schiff and swalwell threats to our national security? >> without a doubt. remember, i am the guy that nancy pelosi kicked off the fake sham january 6 committee last year. she never gave a single reason why she kicked me off the committee. and here you have speaker mccarthy, a man of his word who follow through on a promise he made. he would not let these two threats to our national security serve on the intelligence committee. never mind that being on the intelligence committee implies that you are intelligent. we are talking about two of the biggest clowns in congress. swalwell taking the cake. obviously being caught. caught being in a compromising situation. this guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our national secrets because of how compromised he was. today mike pompeo confirmed that adam schiff actually released knowingly released classified information when he was chair of the intelligence committee. he shouldn't be on the committee after doing that. he should be punished for it.

kudos to speaker mccarthy for following through on what he would do. neither of these two guys should be in congress, let alone serving on the intelligence committee. no one leaked more than schiff. that is public knowledge whether you follow the news or are inside the elway. you walk over the briefings and handed over to friendly media. swalwell was so concerned about china, excuse me, schiff was so concerned about china that he went to tiktok, which may or may not be owned by the ccp to fund raise after this happens. watch this. >> we knew it would be bad when the republicans took over but it's far worse than we expected. i can promise you this. this is not the end of my fight for our democracy. this is just the beginning. please join us and contribute today. >> the chinese tiktok defense. >> i don't know where he is trying to ask for, pain can

tribute shins, let me say this. in terms of fighting for democracy it has been republicans throughout the entire time. all we want is the truth surrounding all of these issues. what we have known for quite some time is that adam schiff has been leaking to the press, leaking classified information, all to score political points with the radical left in our country, targeting his political opponents on purpose and using his seat on the intelligence committee as chairman to do that. if you are going to do something like that and everybody on capitol hill knows, you don't get to serve on the intelligence committee. he can raise all the money he wants. trust me, that political fight will be waiting for him and we are going to win because the truth has finally prevailed. we will take this congress to make sure more of the facts and more of the evidence comes out to demonstrate to the people what has happened on capitol hill over the last couple years. >> representative banks, there

was another member of congress at that press conference. omar was there. she was at the briefing. here is what she said. listen. >> republicans have been gunning for our seats and obviously they know how effective that we have been in upholding the constitution and defending our democracy and standing up to extremists. we will continue to do that work. >> omar, a known anti-semite on the house foreign affairs committee, but yet her position requires a majority vote to kick her off the committee. you have a republican or you have a majority representative banks. do you think you can do that? >> i hope so. i will be one of the first to remove her from the foreign affairs committee. she is one of the most anti- israel members of congress, maybe that congress has ever seen.

her rhetoric against israel is dangerous. israel is our most important ally around the world especially at a time like this where the biden administration has turned the world upside down and made the world a far less safe place and more dangerous place. to have a member of the foreign affairs committee, which is a committee that is supposed to help us build relationships with our allies, via very anti- israel is dangerous to have her on the committee to begin with. i hope we vote to remove her. i will be the first to cast my vote to do so. >> representative donald's, you were in the middle of the speakership fight. not that this is the telltale sign, but what is the pulse of the caucus right now? can they hang together on tight votes like omar? >> i firmly believe we will hang together. i will be the second vote when it comes to omar. as a republican caucus we went through our machinations. it was all about the republic.

conference. the other big news today was bidens abrams tank announcement. the delivery of just half a brigade of tanks has some people acting like this is a game changer. what is the truth? our next guest says that both the west and kyiv might be disappointed in the results with the lack thereof. joining me now is retired lieutenant colonel daniel davis, ella terry expert for defense priorities who fought in the largest american tank battle since world war ii. the battle of 73 easting. lieutenant colonel, a fair question would be is biden trying to win in ukraine or will this just prolong the fight? count me as cynical, but what is your take. 31 abrams tanks? >> well, the abrams tanks are really just the tool, the political tool, depending on who you want to listen to that will allow germany to release tanks, which people have been trying to

get for quite a while. apparently that will work. it is unclear about how many. what i have read in the washington post is their would be about 70 of those. two battalions. you are talking a total of three battalions. you are talking a front of about 1000 kilometers. the ukraine has said they are in the process of making three core level operations which are very large organizations to try to have an offensive later this year. three battalions will do almost nothing. that is if the tanks work effectively. there are so many roadblocks and so many difficulties and challenges that have to be overcome to allow them to be effectively used. this is absolutely not going to be a game changer. that is just the truth of it. >> there is a ton of technology on an abrams tank that you have to be trained on if you want to know how to use it effectively. what is the end stage? joe biden claims this is not an

offensive threat. we are not giving ukraine offensive capabilities. are we egging them on to try to win a war they cannot win? what does that say about the threat profile we are creating? >> we have to be pretty sober about what is possible. right now, russia has just mobilized 300,000 troops. they have reportedly about 150,000 in position right now training to get ready for their own offenses sometime this winter, potentially within weeks or daze from now. that's according to ukraine and russian sources. that is expected. then you have ukraine suffering extraordinary casualties in baku of donbass. they are trying desperately to try to rebuild combat power while they are still defending. the idea that we will turn the tables and allow the ukraine to go on the offensive when they haven't been able to do it on any large-scale section than the

one area in kharkiv where russia has been contesting they have not succeeded they are. i just don't see any path militarily for russia or ukraine to be able to drive russia out. then you have to ask the question. if that is the case, what is our goal and objective? i will be honest. i don't see one. all i see is putting out capabilities and tanks, but with no idea what it will accomplish and no way it will improve national security or help ukraine. that's a big problem. >> here we or again after 20 years of iraqi and afghanistan and unclear paths to which it benefits and we are back at it again sending record amounts of armaments. lieutenant colonel, thanks for your sober analysis. we appreciate it. thank you. breaking a couple hours ago. after months of secrecy, the san francisco judge has granted a motion to release the san francisco pd body cam footage of

after months of speculation and stonewall police department must release all the body cam footage from the night of the paul pelosi attack. for all the details we go live to kevin clark with the full report. >> good to see you, my friend. in order to allow the release of video and audio comes after a fairly sustained effort from a press coalition, if you will, including fox news. the attorney filed a request on the 11th of january arguing that the public and the press have standings to assert their rights of access to court records and proceedings. as you know 82-year-old paul pelosi was allegedly attacked with a hammer back on the 28th of october by david the pappy who was reported looking for

house speaker nancy pelosi. now the san francisco superior court judge has decided it may be time for the public to see the body cam video and audio for the night in question. however, this is important, the judge by the name of stephen murphy has also not quite settled on when or even if that material will be released. only that it may. for what it's worth his ruling comes over the objection of david's attorney who has been arguing that if you release the recordings it could inhibit the client policy attorney to get a fair trial. david has pleaded not guilty to six charges brought by the san francisco da office including attempted murder. if convicted he would face up to life in prison. but for good measure i want to share this. we have recently learned that former house speaker nancy pelosi had priests allegedly perform an exorcism on the house following the attack.

that is according to her daughter alexandra. i'm not sure what to make of that. it proved once again that sometimes these stories simply write themselves. >> they sure do. an exorcism at the pelosis? let's see if we can get the footage. that would be nice. >> you bet. at the top of the show we mention that shift and swalwell are getting booted from the intel committee. that is long overdue. so is the banishment of donald trump from facebook. but in a twist, that banishment ended today. >> you are ending the suspension of former president trump on facebook and instagram? why are you doing that now? >> he was suspended for two years from using facebook and instagram. that two year clock expires this month. there are guard whales and rules that he has to play by the rules. >> facebook guardrails.

assistant secretary of the treasury and host of the monica crowley podcast. ladies, thank you for being here. molly, the question is why did it take so long for a former president who garnered the votes of 70 million plus people, why does it take so long for him to reach those voters? >> it is unbelievable that they were allowed for two years, that facebook was allowed to d platform at first the sitting president of the united states, and then the leader of the republican party and now a candidate for president, a potential future president of the united states. they did this in part because people were not creating enough outrage over it. facebook in general has done so much to attack freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of people to debate. they didn't do it just would trump. they did it with all sorts of effective voices. some important debates about covid. now finally two years later

after meddling in election after election, they or finally saying he can come back. this isn't even coming close to making right what did he did to the country and what they continue to do. >> that's true. it's amazing what the former president has been up against. what do you make of this announcement? how significant is him coming back or is it really just some sort of admission of guilt or not? >> well, nobody should be praising this move by meta and mark zuckerberg as some sort of achievement for restoring donald trump's accounts when they shouldn't have done it in the first place. frankly, the word deep platforming is just a euphemism for totalitarian control. these people in big tech artech overlords. they do control the modern public square. they have all of the power to not just silent somebody, but to crush them. to basically erase them from the

face of the earth. that's the kind of power that they now have, to the point where they could actually suspend and destroy a sitting president as molly said. molly has also written a phenomenal book called rigged about the 2020 election talking about the hundreds of millions of dollars that mark zuckerberg and his team poured into swing state's and swing districts in order to influence the election and deny donald trump reelection. all of this is of a peas. i have to say this. over the last couple of years we have heard a lot about bogus collusion. what we now know thanks to the twitter files and other things, other pieces of evidence, it has become clear that there was actual collusion between members of the deep state, the regime, the left, the propaganda and big tech to all work together to throw donald trump out of the public square and so many others with whom they disagree. >> absolutely.

schiff says they caved, that facebook caved to pressure. what say you? >> it is true that the left has become this authoritarian totalitarian force. they have pushed to continue this horrific censorship that has done so much to destroy civil society in the united states. they did try to keep the pressure on facebook. but that is not to their credit that they are even worse than google or facebook or twitter twitter or these big tech companies that have done so much censorship against the american people. it's just crazy how much the left supports this type of restriction on how people can say or think or what should happen to them when they do. i think it's also worth remembering when this happened, win this move to take president trump off the platforms happened, it was so bad that it alarmed people that don't even have our protections of the first amendment. andrew was appalled. various other european leaders

were terrified about what was happening with how much control these big tech companies have. if you can do this to the sitting president of the united states, this makes you more powerful than most governments. they are not just private companies. they have a lot of privileges afforded to them. this cannot continue. if they think after two years of this type of thing, allowing a little bit of more free expression would keep people from coming after them, they have another thing coming. they are an existential threat. >> absolutely right. the meta ceo says you have to pay attention to the guardrails. we have false hope with elon musk that may be the game on social media would be different? or would the overlords put their thumb even harder on the scale trying to pretend like they are not doing it yet again? >> thanks to elon musk we have had a flash of the possibility

of an algorithm free free-speech suppression free kind of social media platform. but some people have noticed that some of those algorithms are back. peoples accounts are being throttled once again. we will have to see how it plays out. we also have to see how donald trump works is reinstated accounts. will he stay on true social or find the siren call of going back to facebook and instagram and some of the other platforms like twitter. too irresistible. he is certainly running for president again so he may need those platforms. this is the modern public square. too many of us are at the mercy of these big tech overlords. most of whom are on the far left and they are working hand in glove with the regime in order to suppress people. this is the textbook definition of totalitarianism and tyranny. >> you or exactly right. they turn up the dials or turn them off completely based on who they want and who they like the most. thank you so much.

of black history. as of now it looks like desantis will prevail. it takes a spine. he has got one. it's those actions that have parents feeling empowered to ask what exactly their kids are being taught in school. we see the issue of education is making a difference in elections like governor glenn youngkin's win in virginia. it is having a tangible result in classrooms as well. a report published by the rand corporation today found that of a nationally representative sample of 8000 teachers, one quarter said they had revised their instructional materials or teaching practices to limit or exclude discussions of race and gender which washington, d.c. has tried to ram down their throat. the washington post framed this as a bad thing and this signifies needed results. here is dr. ben carson, former former housing and urban development secretary. founder and chairman of the

american cornerstone institute and author of created equal. thank you for being here. does it surprise you that lies like the 1619 project are promoted so heavily? it doesn't surprise you in classrooms but it's good to see teachers fighting back at some level. but they have to do it quietly. >> thanks for having me, pete, and thanks for your contributions to the educational front. it's fantastic. school should be about educating people about facts. it shouldn't be about indoctrination. when we are talking about advanced placement black history courses that emphasize things like queue theory, theory for those who don't know that term, intersectionality, reparations, abolishing prisons, these are political agendas. this is not an educational agenda. there are so many good things

that could be talked about, particularly when talking about blackness in this country. you can talk about the contributions that blacks have made to our military. it was henrietta blackberry that invented the underwater cannon work or garrett morgan who invented the gas mask and save lives during the war and invented the traffic signal. look at the industrial area and the industrial revolution. andrew beard invented the automatic railroad card. elijah mccoy the automatic lubrication system for locomotive engines. he had so many inventions. is that the real mccoy? people don't know that was a black man. thomas edison's right-hand man louis latimer came up with the filament that made the lightbulb work for more than two or three days and invented the electric lamp. a diagram the telephone for alexander graham bell.
