viewers disturbing. question whether others will face charges. video shows the five now former officers participating in a savage beating where is he kicked, punched, pepper sprayed and struck with a baton multiple times as nichols is left seemingly defenseless. you also see in the video other officers show up on scene and stand around and a bloody nichols is left to wait more than 20 minutes for medical attention. two fire department employees and shelby deputies relieved of their duties pending an internal investigation and moving forward the county d.a. says he will not rule out new charges for others who may have played a role in nichols' death. >> we're going to need time to allow the investigation to go forward in further consideration of charges. nothing we did last thursday regarding the indictments precludes us from bringing other charges later. >> now, protests here in memphis

have enough good people applying. jason armstrong the ferguson police chief when i saw that video i realized that's not policing. it was uncalled for and fired and charged appropriately noteworthy this michigan study no bias in fatal police shootings. the percentage of hispanic and victims killed by white cops is four times higher than blacks killed by cops 9% to 2%. the big fear for me personally is no one is going to want to be appear do. even less people want to be appear do now. going to stop any proactive policing. when they go into the neighborhood, get to know the people. a lot of cops are going to say i'm going to back out. i don't need anything. i don't need any potential trouble. and now there is a big push to get rid of qualified immunity for all cops. show the body cam video shows something that gets them in

we agree with what minihan had to say. unfortunately he may be accurate says mccaul. >> i hope is he wrong as well. i think he is right though. china is looking at reunification of taiwan. that's how they call it. several ways to do that the first one is to influence the election that will take place a year from today. president cy's party is running for re-election. china is hitting them hard saying to go to war with china. if they succeed in that effort like hong kong without a shot fired. about f. they don't win in that one, they are going to look at military invasion. we have to be prepared for this. it could happen i think as long as biden is in office projecting weakness, as he did with afghanistan that led to putin invading ukraine, that the odds are very high we could see a conflict with china and taiwan and the indo-pacific. this goes back to my father's war of world war ii.

suffering the problem. in these low income black neighborhoods and they don't preach visitation vilification. 840% of black americans say they support the police. 60% of blacks surveyed do not believe racial discrimination is the biggest barrier to their future. we must work with these groups like the voices of black mothers united. thousands of moms who lost their children to homicide and we are working with them and they are establishing partnerships with the police all over this country and as a consequence, we are having events that promote positive interaction with police and as a result you are seeing crime go down a little bit. you see also, cases being closed so we must take an affirmative action and listen to the voices of the people with the solutions. >> will: so, doctor, i'm

curious, it seems that there is this tension. you first deal with the reality that the police are going into high crime areas, disproportionately poor or filled with minorities, often black americans. in order to address that problem, you have aggressive policing. and then it would seem because of aggressive policing you have tension with the local community. but i hear what you are saying is in fact no there is not tension within the black community because of aggressive policing? >> no. again, the people you see on television are not the people who are resident that community. in fact, this whole issue started back in 2015 with the death of freddie gray. black officials in baltimore were the first to use the police as a scapegoat to explain why and since they have been in control for 40 years why have conditions of poor black gotten worse under their supervision? what they did then police as a

water? >> it is definitely a struggle. we have so much talent here in jackson. and i just wish that everybody would just focus on that. because we need to make sure we focus and get them as much support as possible. but, you know, it really sucks in a way because we have so many outstanding restaurants that possibly can't survive for the next, you know, year, two years when they are affected by the water. so being something just has to be done. and from what they're offering for migrant and all that, many chefs don't even worry about dealing with all that paperwork because it's just pennies. we have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars daily to survive throughout, you know, not having good clean drinking water. >> ainsley: how much are you spending each day. >> i can spend upwards of $500 a day. i mean, you know, think about staffing, think about cost of goods. you know, think about the lights being on. you know, just to get up to $500. sometimes it takes you 30
