years old, 3.4% unemployment, 517,000 jobs, these are not recessionary numbers. 12.1 million jobs in this president took office. ten half-million new small businesses. shannon: and millions of those were added back from the pandemic. parks right, i am just saying my point that is a fair point. my point is 3.4% unemployment is not recessionary. half a million jobs in january is not recessionary. 2.9 on gdp at the end of last year is not recessionary. those are the facts on the ground right now second perceptions. you actually ask about how they're doing in their financial lives also a bird doing well, i'm doing fine and worry about the broader economy that is fair. we understand that. prices are too high but they are moving in the right direction, okay question work food, energy rentals about gas. all of these prices have been following and not just for a month or two.

the council of economic advisers who make a big deal look at the trend. we have inflation ticking down six months in a row the trend is your friend that is very important in that context. look, you make a fair point catch up with them yet. asked to move into 2023 with investments in infrastructure. with investment standing in a clean energy production, semi conductors, domestic manufacturing 800,000 jobs in manufacturing since president took office. those are 23 numbers. shannon: again because of being the fair of the strata back because of the pandemic. what does talk about manufacturing 800,000 jobs since this president took office that's important to him that's really high value-added sector with good jobs for noncollege workers. i want to get your point that is the strongest manufacturing expansion on record going back to 1953. that is not just a bounce back or part of it as a bounce back.

it is fastest manufacturing job growth over a business like a going 1950s. shannon: want to make a difference with added and created think that's fair. jobs added back partially because they're gone during the pandemic and they came back in the creation of jobs is different precooked that is fair to other the unemployment rate went up very high and bounce back down. there is in fact forecasters are predicting at this point the unemployment rate will be north of 40% and 104% is 3.4% drink much better than a bounce back. and the thing about these job numbers as they have been so persistent. you yourself in every forecaster got wrong for the month of january, expectations work much lower. this president on his economic policy continues to exceed expectations month after month. shannon: okay good news again for the country we will see where this trickles down hopefully to the rest of her resume. want to talk about the dents on the course at the big fight has potential impact much more

medicare. beck's discretionary spending is 30% of our spinning cabin that is military. when republicans talk about wanting to balance the budget, what they are really talking and some of them are upfront about this but others you can't get there that cutting social security, medicaid, military spending. a lot of spending most people depend on with food safety, border security and look if they have a different plan that enables them to achieve fiscal responsibility as this president has with 1.6 trillion in deficit reduction since he got here. shannon: again coming off the pandemic on record-breaking spending. pursuant to get to that the second i knew you would say that. so 200 billion in savings with the inflation reduction act. looks not by all estimates by the way. what's in them to join in with him on that kind of fiscal responsibility with deficit reduction without cuts he is all ears. let me tell you something there is no line in the budget this is waste, fraud, abuse or is new line the budget that said this
