auditioning to be the next chair of joe biden's disinformation board, that or she's been living in a cave for the last year. nobody says it is disinformation anymore. even the "washington post" and media know it is 100% real. hunter says it is his laptop. aoc and democratic party love big tech censorship and are willing to lie about it and the facts in order to keep the big tech censorship regime in place, that is what today was about. >> todd: josh hawley nailed it, my concern is some people believe the lies from people like aoc, and those people get a vote at election, that is in the back of their mind, this could spread like wildfire. >> brooke: this is mind blowing to me, i've been covering the

investigation since 2019, when investigations were opened into hunter's foreign business dealings. hunter biden business dealings came up during trump's first impeachment. zelenskyy was asked to look into business ties and johnson and grassley were looking into ties to burisma, that firm he sat on the board of, this story has been going on for years and when the laptop came out, the u.s. intelligence community said this is not disinformation, despite biden campaign and democrats all said, this has markings of russian smear campaign. it is really interesting and now of course to see hunter's lawyers requesting investigations into trump dissem nated information from the half fake laptop, they basically
1:24 am
admitted. >> todd: another attempt to stop free speech. >> ashley: hunter basically admitted it was his and his lawyers, but two days after, no, it is not, let's investigate state and federal help to investigate people like rudy giuliani, who were against the bidens. aoc said it was a 24-hour hiccup, this hiccup says cause massive problems for this administration. i have to hit on this, when biden says public doesn't care about this laptop investigation, this is not just about hunter biden. it has to do with a sitting president and shady business dealings, between the whole family is opened up a can of worms that keep coming. how much more can we get from the investigations? >> brooke: right, aoc saying this half-fake story that was
1:25 am
hiccup in the right wing efforts before the election. i can't believe she said this, it wasn't half fake story, this was critical, e-mails from the laptop were critical, drawing critical points from the biden family business dealings before the presidential investigation. and they censored the stories. there were stories flagged on twitter and twitter files came out, one story was in the deliberation back and forth. i mean, it really is just stunning because at the end of the day, democrats can say this was a right-wing pre-election fake story, but hunter has been under federal investigation for business dealings and foreign transaction with money related to china since 2018.
1:26 am
this federal investigation has been going on for four years now, so when democrats say this is fake and republican talking points, it's not, there is an ongoing open four-year investigation into this. >> todd: the "new york post" was at the center of the censorship and "new york post" has unique take on the hearings given nod to twitter with this cover to grill a mockingbird. the folks there really nail it. ashley nailed it, we always have to come back to, hunter biden is who we talk about, but this is a joe biden story, not necessarily a hunter biden story. >> ashley: before i let you finish, i think that is what people need to hammer down on more. if the democrats we don't care about hunter biden laptop, shift the focus to the president. >> brooke: right, it really is, look at e-mails that came from the laptop or former hunter

i will post it later. remember this comment from the state of the union? >> president biden: i said we're going to need oil for at least another decade and going to exceed -- [laughter] -- and beyond that, we're going to need it. >> todd: just a decade. admitting the nation needs fossil fuel, what about fired workers that needed their job. the founder of the association is here to respond. >> ashley: and democrats promise to tax the rich, why is the i.r.s. sticking its hand in the tax jar, we will tell you the latest for the industry.

exclusive surveillance balloons will be used to monitor at the border. this is due to lack of funding and 12 eyes in the sky at the border are already out of service agreeing to spend 52 million in the 2022 fiscal year before the department cut funding for the program. >> ashley: president biden facing tough criticism after admitting our country still needs gas and oil. >> president biden: big oil just reported record profit and increased domestic production. they said we're afraid you are going to shut down the refineries, so why invest in them? we're going to need oil for at least another decade and that will exceed -- and beyond that, we're going to need it. >> ashley: matt cody is

is under this administration. nobody wants to invest in a losing opportunity and oil and gas companies are scared because this biden administration signalled, we're going to kill your jobs. >> ashley: the oil and gas companies are holding on to whatever they can right now because they are afraid he will shut them off. he said we were going to need oil and gas for 10 more years, i argue it will be more, what do you think? >> it will be much longer, fortunately for us, we have oil and natural gas under our feet in america. we don't have to import from foreign country, we can use american fuel to power the nation. >> ashley: you compare joe biden's admission during the state of the union to his handling of the border crisis, what was that, tell us? >> joe biden started talking about how maybe we have an issue
1:37 am
at the border three years after we had an issue at the border and talking about how we need oil and gas two years after he cancelled the final leg of the keystone xl permit. we cannot afford to wait two years to talk about a problem we know we have. we need to invest in future production right now so americans don't have higher gas prices, higher grocery prices, higher home heating cost. democrats, republicans and independents know. >> ashley: in the gulf, he shut down reserves and pulled the plug on leases. we were oil and gas independent before him, do you think he will open this back up? you heard democrats in the state of the union booing when he said that, he came off script, that is not what the white house wanted him to say.
1:38 am
>> it is always possible, just not likely because joe biden talks out of both sides of his mouth. i was trying to think of a nice way to say that. joe biden has chance to prove his administration cares about every american and wants to lower gas prices and increase production by approving infrastructure project and speeding up federal permitting and getting his boot off the neck of american workers and let us get to work. >> ashley: even if he did all that, how long would it take to become independent again? >> we're talking about months to bring a new well to production and years to get back out of the woods. if we don't start now, we'll not get there any faster, we need to be drilling in the united states right now. other foreign country, china,
1:39 am
russia, saudi arabia, iran, venezuela drilling, why aren't we drilling in the u.s.? this administration says one thing and does another and will leave us depending on foreign oil as much as they can. >> ashley: what happens if biden getses reelected, he is more or less setting up he's going toun are. how bad could this get if he does get reelected? >> we're talking about a grave threat to our national security. this isn't just about the economy and our jobs, this is about national security and leaving us depending on hostile foreign nations. oil and gas workers are working with federal and state legislators to ban china and other entities from taking control. we need to control our natural resources and we're hopeful all
