most powerful institutions is severe. liberal high ranking unelected bureaucrats from d.c. constantly put their own political beliefs over that of the people that they claim to serve. this is especially true at the fbi and doj. for example, parents voicing their concern about the woke agenda in schools were literally labelled as domestic terrorists. far right american men were broadly characterized as the greatest threat to the united states. mar-a-largo was raided in search of a few documents from trump's own presidency. high level and low level trump associates also faced early morning raids, perjury traps that were once reserved for violent criminals. why learn last night that 140 americans faced possible charges for merely riding a bus to

trump's january 6 rally. meanwhile, rioters that breached the capitol were punished with lengthy prison sentences. the far left rioters, sean, in portland, oregon that attempted to burn a federal courthouse to the ground every night for several months faced almost no legal consequences at all. the majority of the charges were dropped. completely dropped. sean, we could go on and on and on. but for some reason, democrats fight tooth and nail against this committee. maybe that's because the bias and weaponization always cuts one way. as the saying goes, sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed. sean? back to you. >> sean: 574 riots summer of 2020. thousands of cops injured, bills in property damage, dozens of dead americans. there was no committee. january 6th committee, what did nbc news finally report?

whistle-blower discloses that the fbi used the betsy ross flag as a terrorist symbol. september 19th, 2022, another fbi whistle-blower discloses that the washington field office is deliberately manipulating january 6 case files to make it appear that domestic violence extremism is on the rise. november 4, 2022, another fbi whistle-blower discloses the fbi accepts private user information from facebook, without the user's consent and information is from only the conservative side of the political spectrum. this is only a sailing. >> sean: on top of that, high ranking officials at the fbi put their thumbs on the scale in the past two presidential elections. remember, let's go back to 2016. they smeared donald trump. then the fisa warrants, the fisa applications. they spied on his campaign, his transition team and yes, when he was in the white house as your.

. they did it by using a fisa warrant that was full of misinformation that was russian disinformation, paid for by hillary clinton and by the way, not only was it not verified, it was unverifiable because it was all forced. they used christopher steele's dirty dossier, filled with russian disinformation, paid for by hillary as the basis of that russia collusion investigation in to trump. now, early october, they had been warned in august of 2016 by bruce ohr, don't trust it. it's a political document. they didn't listen. before the presidential election, they flew over the pond and asked christopher steele, can you corroborate this? if you can, we'll give you a million dollars. he never got his money because he never corroborated it.

in october of 2016 before the presidential election, they used it as the bulk of information for the fisa application at the top of a fisa application it says verified. they couldn't support, they couldn't prove any of it. since then it's all been disproven. by the wayed, thankfully hillary clinton was so toxic, she still lost the election even though the fbi put their thumb on the scale. as for the 33,000 e-mails that she deleted with bleach bit and the devices destroyed by hammers and the sim cards removed from devices? james comey, no prosecutor would prosecute. what he meant to say no p proscuter would prosecute a democrat. that should concern everybody. you might recall, december 2019, evidence handed over to the fbi of public corruption.

that's when the fbi got ahead of hunter biden's laptop from hill. it was filled to the brim with details surrounding the sketchy foreign business ventures most of which he had no experience for, including implicating and evidence connecting his own father, the big guy, to these deals. telling his own daughter, yeah, i'm not going to do what pops is doing. i have to give pops half my income. did joe get the money you made in china, ukraine, russia? instead of validating the contents of the laptop, the fbi had it for 11 months. they warned big tech that russian disinformation about hunter or joe biden would soon infect their platforms. after the "new york post" blew the scandal wide open, then we had the follow up of 51 former instel officials signing a public letter claiming that the laptop story had all the classic hallmarks of russian

disinformation. they were lying, they had no information to back that up at all and none of what they said was true. now all of us deserve answers. take a look. >> it is important to recognize corrupt individuals within federal agencies that i am talking about are not acting align. they operate as vital partners of the left wing political movement that includes most members of the mainstream media, big tech social media giants, global institutions and foundations. democrat party operatives, ele elected officials. the most effective act of sabotage against the truth is the public letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials that claim the laptop had "all the classic ear marks of a russian information operation." that letter itself was an information operation that

interfered with and impacted the 2020 presidential election to a far greater extent than anything russia ever could have hoped to achieve. >> sean: in other words, the 51 intel officials, that was their disinformation campaign and yes, it did have an impact on a presidential election. in other words, your own federal government interfered in the 2020 election and they tipped the scales to the candidate that they preferred. that of course would be the weak frail cognitive mess known as joey, your president. multiple outlets including cbs, "the washington post," "new york times," "new york post" all confirmed the contents in hunter biden's laptop is real. now we want to know what the big guy, what was his cut in on hunter's pay for these schemes that he's involved in? what is the fbi and doj what are they going to do about it if anything to this day?

they're seriously -- there's serious security concerns about the family biden business. here's senator chuck grassley earlier today. >> the whistle-blower disclosures to my office made clear that the fbi has been its possession very significant impactful and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by hunter and james biden. these disclosures also allege that joe biden was aware of hunter biden's business arrangements and may have been involved in some of them. it's clear to me that the justice department and the fbi are suffering from a political infection that if it's not defeated will cause the american people no longer to trust these storied institutions. >> sean: let many be very clear. i have long revered the fbi. i grew up -- all four of my grandparents came from ireland.

my grandfather's brother, two of his sons were fbi agents. they were the most revered in my family. we revere it as an institution. for all the good agents that keep our country safe and secure every day, thank you for your great job. but justice has got to be blind and the political weaponization that we are now seeing is never acceptable. there should be no place for political bias at the fbi or at the department of justice. it's way past time that these bad actors are held accountable or it's going to get worse and worse until we're at the point of no return. take a look at this. >> we come not to trash the fbi but to rescue if fbi from political capture. it seems as though that political capture was enhanced when robert mueller took a lot of the authority and power away from the field offices all over our country and centralized that

going to investigate people for exercising their first amendment rights. that's what this is about. the folks in the fbi doing the good working we're here to serve them and make sure the leadership is not going after the american people. >> sean: chairman, let me ask you this because senator grassley testified today that they acquired the authentic bank records that substantiated findings of the previous two records and that being that they finally have links between hunter and james biden to individuals connected with the chinese communist regime. we hear about a $1.5 billion deal with the bank of china, a $100,000 shopping spree with chinese nationals. is that true? >> we'll wait for the report. the second report, we'll look forward to that. that's the kind of information that chairman comer is looking

to get. he's looking to get access to these reports that supposedly there's 150 that exist on the banking transaction from the biden family business operation. >> sean: matt gaetz, you said you're not here to rescue the fbi but rescue them from political capture. after james comey and christopher wray, when he became the fbi director, he has a dew toy clean up the world's premier law enforcement agency. clearly he's failed. my question is can it be rescued or do we need to rebuild a new fbi, one that can be trusted, one that doesn't take in political considerations. one that believes in equal justice and application of our laws. >> if we decentralize the power outside of washington d.c., we can vindicate the true and honorable and just purpose of the fbi without falling victim to political capture. sean, it's every election.

before the 2016 election, and fbi lawyer changed secret evidence before a court. in 2018, the fbi was breathing life in the lying steele dossier. before the 2020 campaign, you saw the fbi doing everything that they could to make you think that trump was somehow a russian agent or shaking down vladimir zelensky. in 2022, they raided mar-a-largo and sum pressing the hunter biden laptop. when we let the democrats bring any human being on earth to come in to say maybe the government is not weaponized against our people, they brought in a lobbiest. not just any lobbiest, an obama-era doj political appointee that now represents google and pfizer and george soros as a paid influence pedaler. that's like bringing in joe biden to teach your

comprehension and cognition class or chris christie do do your weight loss planning with you. we can do better. >> sean: chairman, i'll ask you first. was there a well-designed and orchestrated censorship campaign to influence the 2020 election. is that a fact at this point? >> yeah, i like the term that professor turley used. censorship by surrogate. why is the fbi telling twitter that we think these accounts and these tweets violate twitter's terms of service? why are they doing that? if that's not pressure or coercion to take down free speach, to take down political speach, i don't know what it is. so i like that term because that's what took place. we know that because of the twitter files. >> sean: matt gaetz, do you agree? censorship influenced the
