>> ashley: man accused of shooting two baltimore police officers is finally in police custody after a two-day manhunt. the suspect was barricaded for hours before authorities safely brought him into custody overnight. authorities say he sped off in a police car after being pulled over, eventually shooting two officers in separate incidents. one officer was in critical condition, the other suffering serious injuries. the baltimore county p.d. says both officers are now stable. d.c. police arresting a homeless man accused of violently attacking minnesota

congresswoman angie craig in the elevator of her apartment building yesterday. suspect kendrick hamlin reportedly punched craig on the chin before grabbing her and holding her by the neck. he ran off when craig dumped her cup of hot coffee before the assault she saw the suspect earlier that morning acting erratically in the lobby as if he was under the influence. craig's team says she suffered a few bruises but is expected to be all right. another big corporation is announcing massive layoffs. yahoo says it's cutting 20% of its workforce. that's about 1600 employees, the company blamed shrinking ad sales. this comes a day after disney said it was slashing 7,000 positions. yahoo is just the latest in a growing list of companies shedding jobs in anticipation of a possible recession. now, to that wild video of an absolute meltdown on the tennis court. young star alexander bublick hearing boos as he smashes five
