object discovered on radar, this time flying high over canada. it's not clear when or where it was first picked up. nor read saying in a statement quote military aircraft are currently operating from alaska and canada in support of north american aerospace defense command. norad confirmed with pond positively identifies an airborne object over northern canada. refusing to offer specifics, the second object detected in the arctic's since thursday night. senior u.s. official tells fox the object was not detected until it had already successfully penetrated u.s. airspace over alaska and shot on flight and of 22 after launched from air force base in anchorage. right now u.s. army helicopters like this on skis are combing the area of the rugged north coast of alaska. the temperature right now in the frozen tundra, minus 20 degrees. norad says limited daylight rough weather limited search. the object shot down home of north america's largest oil field. alaska also home to u.s. air force base and home of u.s.

ballistic missile interceptors. >> a quick question here, we had two objects in one spy craft confirmed, why are we having trouble picking these objects up on radar? >> officials tell me satellite is having trouble picking it up. airborne satellites in space are used to discover ballistic missile launches out of north korea and other places when things go boom, i are birds exploding, a lot of things in there memory thanks. right now balloons is not what they are programmed to discover. satellites are used to count aircraft and airplanes on different bases over russia, china, missile silos and over ukraine. right now spy objects is. to only be discovered based on ground-based radar. the curvature of the earth will limit what the radar can see.

about 24 hours the philadelphia eagles take on kansas city chiefs at state farm stadium in glendale, arizona. for the first time ever the super bowl will feature two black starting quarterbacks but the vocal is in the only thing people will be watching this year. rihanna will be the performer of the halftime show. kickoff set to begin tomorrow night 6:30 p.m. eastern on fox and besides football and half by time show, of course the ads. this year there's a focus on faith with a pair of new ads about jesus on behalf of christian groups campaign calls he gets us. faith at the forefront of football this year with miraculous recovery of buffalo bills player mark hamblin went into cardiac arrest in the middle of the game in january. the country united in prayer and he was released from the hospital five days later even though he still faces a lengthy we have process. he credits faith for his survival. >> i'd like to thank god for being here. sudden cardiac arrest was nothing i would have chosen to be part of my story but that's because sometimes our own visions are too small even when

were involved in his healing and coming back and coming forward and speaking to the gratitude he had to god, i think it touched a lot of people and i also thought it was interesting you have players from both sides, both teams when he went down on the field and they were all praying for his recovery so it feels wonderful. >> a moment i think will carry over into the super bowl tomorrow. i'm hopeful this will be a sentiment. so many years have gone by with the super bowl waiting and watching for somebody to make a virtue signal is going to take off half the country and half the country will celebrate but i wonder if this year might be different and i wonder if you think what happened to demar hamblin in the state of the country right now, do you think people will use the super bowl as a comeback together and cheer on sports and maybe that's a moment of uniting here? maybe this is the moment. >> mainly because the bulldogs already did that the two

consecutive national championship. i'm glad you brought up that question, i hope most people don't feel the division we do working in politics and new york and d.c. as much as we do. i hope most people care more about the super bowl on fox and maybe fox news tomorrow but we will have great program for them. what i wanted to say on this was lasky, i hope i have this right, you coming into this show wasn't espn analyst had a prayer live on air when this happened. to know where espn has been with the politics and where the country has been with this sanitization of showing christianity or mary christian and conservative together that christian becomes bad for people on the left, that was a moment. i think that was an important moment, it didn't make negative headlines, people got to see no

matter your faith, faith itself is a good thing so no matter your prayer, prayer it self for most americans is a good thing and to have that on tv on a sports show, that long ago was not a big deal but this year it was in a positive reaction so that the change i hope that sticks. >> it's not just damar hamlin and the prayer that will be brought to the super bowl in terms of faith, ads that are more faith-based, i think probably shocking to some we would see that, not the first time this has happened but focusing on a message of he gets us. the premise is supposed to be it doesn't matter how you identify or where you're from, the color of your skin or who you voted for, jesus christ our lord and savior gets us so the ads as joey mentioned, we got more faith being interjected into the game, do you think the ads are going to get to the people, he gets us campaign was hoping for? >> i think they have to because you look at church attendance over the years and going into

this century around 2000, 70% of americans said who were catholic, said they belong to a church. that number is below majority for the first time was 47%. think about that in 25 years, the church has lost too many people. putting this at the forefront and remember how many people watch the super bowl, we are talking tomorrow on fox, 105 million people. compared to the mbi finals, 18 billion. world series get 15 million, the most-watched program by the country mile and to have that but if message during this broadcast, i think it certainly will help but i'm old enough to remember tim people. when he was mocked and criticized for praying on the field. >> is a stereotype if you are a straight white man, you don't get to virtue signal. real quick, it's not about being overly row christian, is the idea that your convictions and

beliefs have a spot in the public space and it's not one sided. gatorade can show as a transgender or whatever it is or nike or whatever it is there social justice is, they can show ads and it's not newsworthy but talking about faith for some reason is, it is the position of the two more than advocating for one over the other. >> is christianity and faith the new counterculture? maybe it is but for so long we argue and on the conservative side we say persons are being hampered, we are not given the spotlight. finally someone has done something so i congratulate these people bring ads to us because if you want to play the game, you got to put something in and they've done that this year so maybe it counterculture. who knows what it is, i don't know if americans are going to church but sometimes you have to meet people where they are, maybe they are watching the super bowl. >> they are and one more, joe kennedy is a great high school football coach in washington state and got fired for praying with his kids and the field.

elementary school. alicia, i want to go to you first. from my understanding, 7% of the kids across the entire school district could be proficient but in 23 of the schools it was zero proficiency. >> this is so scary and heartbreaking and good for the fox 45 news station doing the work on this because they are trying so hard to get answers and you have to hear this as well, one of the school officials there, unelected leader was asked by fox 45 and they were going to respond to their e-mails and official said you do a story about students who are succeeding in city school, you never do and then the station further asked, who do you hold accountable for the test scores? the answer was your boss and the distorted cover to provide blaming the media for test scores. now you know where the sadness begins, it begins at the top because clearly they are not

paying attention to the right thing. >> one of the reasons this is coming to the light, there's a report that came out about maryland schools, how dire baltimore is. there's this person, a baltimore resident filed a lawsuit saying your that test scores and inability to educate our kids is misuse of taxpayer funding. it makes sense, the kids can't do math so you're not preparing them to buy shoes, do accounting, count their own money, not preparing them to negotiate their pay one day. baltimore is in a bad spot with crime and things like that, liberals love to say socioeconomics lead to crime and that's the problem. liberals are in charge of school system so where is the disconnect? >> i wonder how long until mr. patterson is labeled a domestic terrorist. >> fbi may be on the way. >> is wanted a lawsuit as i've ever heard. we just got reports in nationally that the u.s. has had

his lowest test scores in 30 years. think about that. we are 25th in the world in math, reading, writing and science. guess whose number one -- anybody want to go out there? i think we talked about this country on the show. >> this bible and. >> yes. we are behind ireland, australia we put more money into our educational system than anybody the return on investment simply isn't there. we've got to get back to blocking and tackling because we are focusing too much on teaching our children to look at other kids through the prism of race and talking about how the revolutionary war was about keeping slavery. no, it wasn't and i think the bottom line is we have to teach our kids not just about math and science but how do you keep good credit when you get older? how do you save up enough to afford a mortgage? how should you handle bullying on social media? priorities are out of whack and that's why we are seeing test was like this because they are not focusing on the things that matter. >> it stands to reason someone who gets pushed along in school

maybe doesn't learn the education through no fault of their own, when they leave the school system, what options do they have? perhaps crime and gang violence is what they have. there's a report that shows baltimore six hundred -- city in the country. detroit, oakland, memphis, we know how bad memphis is in the last month learning more about how police. baltimore is in a bad place, seems like a good education should and i don't think those are against the. >> you want equality, people do have opportunity, stop telling them they are victims and everything is about their race. teach them life skills they need to hold the making of unfairly facing glad you brought up but i also want to bring covid in this isn't just the school system, this was made worse by two years, a year or two, sometimes longer in some places of remote learning, masks schools, vaccine

requirements, all the attention was placed on covid and kids fell through the crooks. you know who really fell through the crooks? pork it's their parents couldn't afford to put them in a private show. parents could afford it replicas of the schools for the because of covid or crt and drag queen story hour, they've taken the kids into the private schools so who suffers? the kids already behind and needs true education the most. covid did this, they wanted covid amnesty, we should never give them that because they destroyed an entire generation with learning lost. >> a national problem obviously baltimore has had a terrible go. the kids in baltimore are victims but not for any reason other than politics that govern their education and hopefully they fix that. coming up from biden administration is just coming for gas stoves. now clothes washers and refrigerators, you have to be dirty and i guess have hot food.

welcome back to the big seven show. biden administration seems to be on energy crusade. first, possible gas stoves band, now, of energy wants to regulate washing machines and refrigerators. goodie. jennifer granholm spinning the idea as a good thing claiming we are building on decades long effort with our industry partners to ensure tomorrow's appliances work more efficiently and save americans money. save americans money, this is interesting because i read a report out of san diego, they have electric stoves in their restaurants now and seeing energy bills are going up not double, triple quadruple.

this only hurts restaurant which you brought up covid before, they probably struggled more than any other business during covid and finally back on their feet getting hit with these charges because we are going green and who suffers? restaurant owners, workers and the people buying the food because they are seen on the menu got more expensive than the last time. >> we are going to save you 100 a year, by an electric vehicle, not everyone can afford a tesla or electric vehicle, the rich buying tesla's, coming out of california as well but you mentioned electric stoves and all of this initiatives to be green, it's one giant wasted to signal. if the green energy works, it works well better than fossil fuels and go there but if you got an electric stovetop not working as well as gas stove and it's affecting businesses and energy bills because they have to re- cook, cook more and don't

know how to use it, you're not solving a problem, you're creating a problem but made yourself feel good in the process and that's what this green revolution is about, making people feel they've done something without actually impacting people in the way people who aren't taking part in it anyway feel like they've done and that's what frustrates me the most. >> bright in a four grill a burger on electric stove, it's not pleasant. >> they are different. mentioned restaurants, we owned a restaurant cook with gas and my husband and he heard this, is the first thing he said, i wrote a restaurant in denver that cooks with electric, we all cook with gas. i'm sure there are some but the majority, it hits small businesses but also hit folks who can't afford to buy new appliances. all of this -- you're talking about virtue signaling resulting in expensive lives for people who can't afford and that's what people are saying. >> , your reaction bill gates, he's called out on his own crime hypocrisy.

say it over and over, i hope business goes up because we need separation and escapism from kids we otherwise really love. >> thank you from your own kids but other people's kids, too. this goes back to a parenting thing. if everybody was as wonderful a parent i suspect you three are thin it wouldn't be an issue but i've been around a lot of parents who their kids are going but wild and they sit there and they are on their tik tok and don't care that they are ruining the rest of our lives so what you think, is this a parenting thing or could it be reversed? >> i think in some instances it is a parenting thing. if the parent is on the phone and kids are going crazy they are not paying attention, it's a parenting thing but we know when they are little there's only so much you can do which also argues for places where there aren't kids, people who can enjoy dinner and not just those without kids. as much as we love our children and we have five, they were little not easy in restaurants

and i would love to have a place where they couldn't get in with my husband so i could enjoy the dinner but i'm kidding -- please don't yell at me on twitter but there is a line. parents have a responsibly, there's only so much you can do it if your kids have a fit, take them outside and talk to the kid or go someplace that is loud. >> i would agree, i want to go to you but i have to ask before i get your reaction on this, when you walk into a restaurant and you are seated next to a child, don't tell me your reaction isn't immediately saying it because mine is. you got to be kidding me. >> it's not because i was in the marine corps eight years and i've raised a lot of other people's children 18 up. here's the honest to god truth, is not a restaurant having indictment on children ten years and younger, it's not a restaurant indictment on parents of children ten years and younger. if i can't take my kid to the spaghetti joint, how's my kid going to learn how to act in the spaghetti joint? how do they learn? i take them to the ones they are allowed to go to and exclusively

the ones they are allowed to, i don't need to go out to eat once or twice without my kids but i take them there and i teach them and i talked to them and have a conversation with them, i don't sit on my phone just so they can sit on theirs and it doesn't mean that don't but is to show them and when they act up, take him outside and give them an attitude adjustment. if parents don't know how to do that minimum part of parenting, that is the problem, societal breakdown. kids are kids and have always been kids but if we don't teach them to be adults, they don't become them with got a generation may be struggling with that with their kids. >> we do and i'll say is someone who don't have kids but it's also lineal, the younger generations of parents because largely of them being on the phone, using phones as a babysitting tool and technique, i think that's part of the problem because you want to pacify your kids but you put them on a screen and it goes
