national anthem. it was great. brian was there live. >> brian: yeah. i thought the halftime, from what i could tell was dynamic. did i not know that there were harnesses. i'm saying whose idea was it to take this mega star who turns outing to pregnant and put her thousands of feet. she was almost at the top of the building along with the other people dressed in white outfits who we never really saw their faces. but i was surprised a couple of things on halftime. i was surprised. didn't you expect there would be guest stars? i didn't know she was going to just do her thing. so, i was waiting for people to come out of the locker room. >> steve: there was a guest star. she's pregnant. she was singing for two. and, listen, it was quite a show. you know, and at one point they had like -- it seemed like one of the drones was flying through all those wires. i was thinking, man, this is just a technological nightmare to have put that all together. i will tell you what, it was

unique. and in the history of super bowls. usually we see a lot of people down on the grass. but as it turns out they were on these levitating platforms. and speaking of grass, brian, what was up with the grass? because i know that there were a number of people who were slipping and i think it was a quarterback for the eagles came out in the second quarter with a bigger spikes because, apparently people were sliding all over the place. >> brian: yeah, they all changed their studs. and they did. because they felt the surface was bad. here's the winning kick. and that would be the difference. >> ainsley: 8 seconds to go. >> brian: they felt the surface was bad. we talked about this. the surface is grown outside the building. what they do they take about a half an hour put it on a platform and bring it into the stadium. thoma. like 95 years old. i saw him at the game. he was proud of the field. a lot of people were comparing

out of the stands and little kids running around. almost like a high school game. the game is over. the euphoria is great but the family is there. one of the interviews he looked at one of the players looked at his family and said thanks for driving me to practice all those years. to see a 27-year-old say that to his parents. that's what we can relate to. maybe not the greatness of the lombardi trophy so many parents watching driving their kids back and forth to school and practice late at night or early in the morning and they can kind of relate to that. >> ainsley: so to interrupt you but when the eagles coach was crying during the national anthem. obviously it was very emotional for everyone. it looks like maybe the wokeness is gone and we are all coming together. it was beautiful, the patriotism. but also to know he has probably worked so hard his whole career and as a little boy watching the super bowl and now he is one of the coaches. america is wonderful. >> brian: i could add to that a little bit.

remember, two years ago they had four wins, last year nine wins they hire him. they were a team in disarray. and then he comes in, straightens things out and get them to the playoffs. this year three losses overall only one with starting quarterback. you have to take it from here. you watched the game at home. you saw the super bowl ads. and if you thought gutfeld was hard to deal with now. it's going to be even harder after the super bowl. >> ainsley: now that we know he is the king of. >> steve: see, it was a good transition where you were talking about all the families down on the field because the fox family is a number of broadcast platforms not just fox sports and broadcast but fox news. cable number one in cable according to the ad is greg gutfeld. >> gutfeld, new kings of late night commercial ready to roll. >> i am a beautiful maiden. >> i'm a beautiful maiden. >> isn't this great? >> is this cultural appropriation? >> action. >>

>> steve: so far, so good. more on the super bowl kansas city won in a little bit. in the meantime u.s. military shot down a fourth unidentified flying object yesterday. this time over lake huron. >> ainsley: it is the third object to be shot down just this weekend. it's the fourth this month. you know, the first one was off the coast of south carolina. >> and mark meredith joins us live from the white house with more. mark? >> brian, steve, and ainsley good morning to you, guys. u.s. and canadian officials say there is much that they still do not know about these flying objects shot down over the weekend. as you guys mentioned three different times over the last different days we saw objects tracked by military and eventually taken down. let me tell you what we do know. on friday, u.s. officials announced that they were tracking an object off the northeastern coast of alaska. that was described to be the size of a car. recovery for that object is still ongoing. the weather as can you imagine pretty rough there. then, on saturday, an object was shot down over canadian airspace

in the uconn territory. you you yukon territory. too soon to know what exactly was taken down. >> i'm not going to categorize them as balloons. we are calling them objects for a reach. these are objects. i'm not able to categorize how they stay aloft. i'm not tracking any other objects at this point. that doesn't mean there couldn't be more at some point in the future. >> officials stressed they do not know where these latest objects came from unlike the chinese spy craft which was shot down off the carolina coast nine days ago. china as you remember claimed ownership of the aircraft. that one that's over your screen right there. lawmakers say they are having trouble getting concrete answers from u.s. intelligence officials. >> i have real concerns about why the administration is not being more comort coming with everything that it knows. part of the problem here part my

guess is there is not a lot of information to share. >> we know over the weekend president biden folk with counterpart justin trudeau praising norad want handling of the situation. while's unclear latest objects came from china or somewhere else, republicans are demanding the white house be more aggressive with the prc amp the first incident. >> the motivation intent is clear here. they want to get imagery. get intelligence on our military capability. particularly nuclear. and that's why that balloon was so dangerous. and it was so dangerous for the president to allow it to go forward once it entered u.s. airspace. >> and within the last few minutes we have actually heard some new information from the chinese. their foreign ministry spokesperson now claiming that the u.s. has launched 10 balloons over their country since the start of 2022. these comments made just a few minutes ago. china basically accusing the

u.s. of committing similar behavior. waiting to see whether or not the administration may have any official response. the president does not have any public events on his schedule as of right now there is a press briefing set this afternoon. back to you guys. >> steve: that would be interesting. they are probably feeling the heat in china. they are going to blame us. mark, thank you very much. >> you bet. >> steve: we don't know exactly what these things are. they are unidentified flying octobers. flying objects. the pentagon was asked yesterday could it be extraterrestrial. and apparently the general who was briefing we haven't ruled anything out. the administration is privately assuring people there is no space invasion, which is really good. and, of course, it all started on february 4th, as you can see right there. where we shot down that chinese spy flight. we have since learned that apparently there in that big balloon, the first one. there was a kill switch of

sorts. which we had suggested the first day. in other words, they probably found with the explosives on board or something like that to destroy the evidence but the chinese did not blow it up which was a sign china wanted to collect i object tell even after this was discovered. brian talked to senator dan sullivan a little while ago. just talking a little bit about we just need to know more stuff from china. >> the number one thing we need to do is reestablish deterrence, particularly as it relates to china. i would be very skeptical of what the chinese are saying right now. remember, they are still saying the one shot down off the coast of south carolina was a weather balloon. that's actually not true. it wasn't a weather balloon. it was a spy balloon. and you're right, these ones that are being shot down, they are different nature. othe one that looks like it was shot down over alaska is different from the one that was shot down over canada. according to the briefings that i have been given.

so, again, with regard to china, i think we need to assume the worse right now on what these balloons might be, assume that they are adversary surveillance. assume that they are objects that are probing for weakness in our defenses. >> ainsley: we are assuming that especially after -- you know, brian, you were talking about this on friday. the increase in the chinese individuals that are coming across our southern border. what was it, up, 800 percent. we got more chinese individuals coming into our country. they are also buying land, buying property. buying schools here. we are seeing the spy balloon or spy flight over the coast of south carolina. that is attributed to china. officials tell us. and then covid, we saw what happened with that stealing our intellectual property. the list goes on and on. we don't trust the chinese. they might say it wasn't a spy balloon. but our authorities think otherwise. >> brian: i would just like to add this real quick. one of the reasons i imagine that china didn't want to

self-destruct the balloon. is that as it went over more and more crowded areas, it could kill people with the destroyed balloon. even though we could have blown it up by almost all accounts in montana by everyone saying that also, senator steve daines. the lack of communication, because, remember, they had the balloon over montana and it disappeared. in connection with thing blown up over lake huron. the governor said the same thing governor gee forte we were not briefed on any of this. no substitute for communication. nothing wrong with saying we don't know yet, but here's what we know. and you can imagine what this press briefing is going to be like. because they don't tell her anything or she foreclosure gets it they ask questions and she talks in a circle which is going to be frustrating. i will talk to you more about this over the next two hours. >> steve: at least not extraterrestrial. >> the good news is if it is

her caring soul saving a little girl drowning in her neighbor's poll. cush took her own life after students posted this graphic video of her online after her getting beat up in the school hallway. parents and students say the incident highlights larger issues inside the school system, including the dismal incidents of bullying. it's hand to some different people they say at this high school. emily strict is a student in the district. and she joins us now along with her mother. joe -- good morning to both of you. >> good morning. >> ainsley: good morning. emily, i know your school has been in the press lately and i'm so sorry for everything that you are going through as students. i understand you have been bullied at the school, too? >> yes, i have it was absolutely terrible. it's unbelievable they didn't do anything about it. >> mom, did you go to the school and complain about it? >> i went to the school. i went to the police and filed reports. i wrote letters to the board of education and the superintendent.

i sent everything certified actually at the advice of diane grossman. who created malory's law after her daughter committed suicide. and i got no response. >> ainsley: oh my gosh, how does that make you feel as a mom? because this is our worst nightmare. this something we all fear. >> it makes me very angry. sending our children to school every day should not be a liability and they're the people that are there. we are not there as parents. so we expect them to be our stand-ins when they have our children in the building. >> ainsley: emily, it's awful to go through that i know how that feels. i was bullied in high school too my freshman years and i didn't want to go back to school. i begged my parents to put me in a private school and change. we didn't have the money for that so it wasn't an option. but going back to school, especially after one of these incidents happens it's really difficult. how are you dealing with it and did those individuals get in trouble? >> actually, i didn't go to school for a full week because you could get jumped very easily
