welcome to our three of fox & friends. first time a pregnant woman ever, period, did the show. it was a spectacular show. >> ainsley: and she just had a baby nine months ago and now she had her little baby bump and revealed it last night. it was all over social media. is she having another baby? and her publicist confirmed it after the show. yes, she is pregnant, but it was awesome. the beginning of the game especially. the end, too. it was great for both teams because we didn't know who is going to win. in the beginning it was so patriotic. fox and the nfl really made it so patriotic. there were all women flying those planes and the national anthem was just beautiful. people were crying in the stands. we saw the coach of the eagles crying, which was really a special moment. it looked like maybe wokeness is gone and we are bringing back patriotism in a country is coming together, and damar hamlin went out on the field. he is the eagles coach crying. i'm sure thinking, "i worked so

hard for this, and all of my childhood dreams are coming true. i'm coaching a team at the super bowl." but damar hamlin was out there hugging all the people who had helped save his life in the hospital and out on the field, and another special moment, patrick mahomes, his faith is extremely important to him, he said a prayer before the game, so that was sweet, as well. brian, you are there and you watched it all in person. >> brian: one thing i don't understand is the philadelphia eagle fans i know don't like the dallas cowboys, but when you get the man of the year for humanitarian efforts, that means, every team gets one, and you are the best and you've done the most. it's called selfless. can you at least not boo him when he's getting something that shows what a great human being he is? but i digress. a lot of eagle fans, a pass interference called, bradberry was very classy in the end and said he didn't think it would be

>> cut left, man. i see the wall set up and i try to score. >> who are you thinking of a halftime? >> we knew it would be a tough ball game. last time we went down 14. still were able to overcome obstacles. this team has shown how resilient we are all year. >> when you saw him limping in the second quarter, were you thinking, "i'm finishing this game?" >> it was close. it didn't look good when it came to the sideline, for sure. >> it was two different games. >> we had everything in front of us. we had a couple of stalls late in the second half or in the second quarter, but we just kept fighting. he stuck to the game and kept it balanced. >> what does this mean to you? >> day in, day out, we put in the work to get here. eliminating distractions. >> what were you thinking on that hit late in the fourth quarter? you got up and ran hard, but that hit was so hard.

>> steve: live from the white house with more, mark, what's different about the last couple of things they shut down, rather than way up high at 60,000 or 70,000 feet, these things were down at like 20,000 or 30,000 feet. according to the pentagon, they were worried that airplanes might run into them. >> you're right, these are different altitudes than the chinese by a cop shot down over the carolina coast. good morning to all of you. u.s. and canadian officials are still trying to determine what was flying over our space this past weekend. as you mentioned, there were three different objects taken down by military aircraft and our recovery operations are underway. like you caught up. we learned a craft was spotted over northeast alaska, and then on saturday an object was shot down over canadian airspace, this time over the yukon territory, and an object flying, as you mention, a 20,00r lake huron and michigan. pentagon officials had a

briefing by phone in which they said it is too soon to say exactly what was taken down. >> i'm not going to categorize it as balloons. we are calling them "objects" for a reason. these are objects. i'm not able to categorize how they stay aloft. i'm currently not checking eianyother objects at this poin. that doesn't mean there couldn't be more in the future. >> officials stress don't know where these latest objects came from, unlike the chinese spy craft shut down nine days ago. china claimed to them and ship of that device. new developments this morning, china is accusing the u.s. of operating similar technology over its airspace. there was a conference in beijing and a spokesperson for the foreign ministry accused the u.s. of launching ten balloons since 2022. white house officials denied those claims. one even told me this morning that china is just trying to deflect over the situation. we also heard from a white house spokesperson on twitter who had

a quote, "any claim that the u.s. government offers surveillance balloons over the prc is false. china has a high altitude surveillance berlin program for intelligence collection that is used to violate the sovereignty of the u.s. and over 40 countries across five continents." of the white house striking right back against china this morning saying that with the chinese are now claiming is simply false. we are looking to see if they expand on their statement later on today. a number of lawmakers from both parties have said they would like to hear more from the white house about what exactly is going on. we know some lawmakers have been getting briefings over the weekend, that whether or not we are going to see a more comprehensive briefing is yet to be determined. there's no public events on the president's schedule today but there will be a white house briefing on camera later on this afternoon. >> ainsley: he's been criticized for not coming out and taking the reporters' questions. people are screaming questions at him as he's getting into his suv and he just gets in the car and doesn't respond at all. so people want to know more about this, we have a lot of

questions. someone was asking if this could be aliens, and general van herrick who was talking about norad and shooting down the object over canada, he said, "i haven't ruled out anything at this point." we talked to some lawmakers who are concerned about this and sitting in on some of these meetings. here's one senator to cognitive talked to this morning. >> i think the biden administration needs to provide more transparency to the american public. our military intel agencies, they are normally secretive, but we live in a democracy. if you don't start providing information, people can wildly speculate, and we don't want that. >> the department of defense left me in the dark, literally, for about 18 hours while i had people all across montana asking questions about what's going on. what is going on with our national security? >> why did it take days for this balloon to get your heartland

before we did anything about it? what are we doing to make sure our defense industrial basis is strong enough to defend ourselves if it does come to that? >> our allies are out there wondering where america has been and our enemies no longer fear us. we need peace through strength. >> i'll tell you what, when you actually don't tell people anything for sure, is it an alien? i wouldn't be surprised. it could be. it looks like there's a lot of strong rumors of these served as weather balloons that they are not in control of navigation, that the payloads are smaller. on sunday we hear about a flying object in montana and they said we didn't take it down, then we get the object was taken down over lake huron. and we know the canadians are trying to get some wreckage from somewhere in the yukon territory. and we know in alaska they're trying to get some of the wreckage there and examine it. and they've now pulled up the full payload from south carolina.

then china mocked us yesterday with their comments in the "chinese people daily," which is meant for us. and then america all the time sends weather balloons over the country? again, this is folly, but i would like to see a retort from our government to their government. wouldn't that help? >> steve: it would. ultimately come after the big genegigantic balloon, we are seg a lot of stuff, which makes you think, have we been letting a lot of stuff fly over us for years? and the answer is probably yes. more on this a little later on. meanwhile, 8:15 here in the east and actually joins us with news from new york. >> ashley: they are going to start with america's current crisis. "the new york post" tearing into marek adams as felonies had a 15-year high. the editorial board seeing crime is winning. it looks like the nypd lacks the resources needed for and across-the-board sea change, at least as long as the legislature

refuses to fix its disastrous criminal justice reforms. but instead of focusing on the city's crime crisis, mayor eric adams is hinting about bringing back covid mandates. >> know that we are seeing a normalization of covid, there may be another time we have to do mandates again, because these viruses are not going away. >> new york city reported more than 170,000 felony throughout last year. that's up from a 143,000 felonies reported in 2021. the u.s. is now allowing americans to spend money they received through medicaid on food. medicaid started in 1965 and was originally designed to give americans health care, but the change was made as policymakers want to see if the food as medicine programs can lead to broader health benefits. and we have some exciting exclusive news coming from jason aldean, announcing his desperado tour, and your hearing first. he is set to hit 41 cities

and arkansas is in universal school, which would be great for parents who want a choice. i don't make it a public school, i'm concerned about what they're learning there, i can transport my kid anyway the state will give me the money to do it. >> not only are we working on and making sure we have the ability to empower parents to make the best decision possible about where to educate their kids -- we are pushing for a massive increase in teacher pay and making sure we are putting incentives to reward and retain the best and brightest teachers here in the state. going from the very bottom to the top in the country on what we pay our teachers, making sure we are focused on things like improving literacy, particularly by early access to early childhood education, as well as empowering parents to make that decision about where to best educate their child. this is the most comprehensive, conservative education reform anywhere in the country, and i

didn't you? it was 50/50. >> bill: in terms of fans i thought it was 60/40 eagles, but they were allowed. kansas city has a great following, as well. the nfl won in such a significant way, brian. two great teams and two great fan bases where the game came down at the very end to the guys. it's remarkable how this game has managed to be so close so often and capture the attention of 100 million plus americans. >> brian: i do vividly remember san francisco playing the san diego chargers and i remember the denver broncos getting crushed, and the bills getting crushed in the past. that seems to be something in the past. but at halftime what were you thinking? >> bill: that the eagles were dominating. if you look up front, the offensive in the defensive line, but something happened in the beginning of the fourth quarter. i don't know what it was where if you have an answer in the locker room afterwards or not, but the philadelphia front on defense must of gotten tired, because the chiefs are doing things they weren't able to do

earlier in the game. they were running the ball, picking up big chunks of yardage along the way. two critical plays, mahomes scrambling up the middle in the fourth quarter. big time. and the interference that was called toward the end. >> brian: right there you are seeing that. bradberry, you're putting something out in the green room, he said that he grabbed the arm. we probably -- he didn't blame their freeze, and neither did the eagles coach. they had to make a lot of calls in a split second. they didn't cost the game. that's costly, right? >> bill: he said he tugged his jersey and he was hoping they'd let it slide. and i thought, boy, he just got the league out of the big time champ here. watching the video, i don't think they would call that and i don't think the pass was catchable. it's over his head. it's very reminiscent of a play that nobody remembers from one year ago in los angeles when they flagged logan wilson of the

hairstylist, whatever they're called, for 25 years. she managed to wrangle all my hair into two pigtails. >> ainsley: it looks great. how is it? he said you were performing in houston. what was it like to be back? >> it was exciting, because i started my stand up -- well, i didn't start my stand up, but i did start my big stand-up career in houston, opening for julio iglesias in the astrodome. that was when i really played a huge venue, 60,000 people opening for julio in '86, i think it was. >> ainsley: are you nervous? >> i was overwhelmed, because i was never in front of that many people before, and they were very appreciative, because they loved julio, and it was staggering. it was great to be back in houston and have my fans they are. and to be back at stand up. i was just champing at the bit to get out until my jokes.

>> ainsley: and how did it go? what was the response? >> they were so nice, and it was fun. they were egging me on. it was great to be back on stage during stand up with my own jokes and stuff that i had written, and i had stuff to say and they got to explain myself, which i never got to do before, so that was great. >> ainsley: you talked about that, because you were canceled in 2018, is that right? >> it was, yeah. >> ainsley: you talked about how you talked to other comics have also been canceled, and you have a pact with each other to be even more offensive when you come back. why is that? >> we have to be more offensive when we come back, because we can't be beaten down. we can't let them kill comedy. we can't let these people who are censors and book-burners have the last say for comedy. it's the last free-speech art form. it's the nature of art form and it's the last place you can get up and say what you want to say to the people who want to hear

it and to all have a laugh together, because laughter is a great, powerful release for people who want that release. it changes things. to laugh power to score and is the most powerful thing you can do. and we need to do that right now, i think, because everything is so ridiculous. it's hard to write a joke now since everything is so absurd and ridiculous. it's hard to write a joke about it. >> ainsley: do you pause and say, "maybe i shouldn't say this?" or "let me just go with it?" >> i took a long pause, like, years, where i was afraid to say anything in this climate. and everybody is. but then i'm like, hell, i'm 70 years old. when am i going to get another chance to get out there and say, "hey, guys, we have to fight against the censorship in this crazy stuff that is anti-american." because america is the last

about people. even though he wins so much, he teaches players that it's more than winning and losing. how do you mix the two? >> he has such a great foundation on and off the field. he's got a great family and, again, at the end of the day, the players, like they showed in this game, will do everything and anything for coach reid. >> brian: what has he done for you in particular, at one time in your life when you maybe needed it most? it had nothing to do with football. >> he was there for me. it was a simple conversation, probably took a minute or two, but there's a lot of things that were going on in my life, the situation with my daughter that had passed, and he was there for me and he gave me some great coaching tips for my life, and really protected my family and my marriage and what not.

so i will always be in andy reid fan. >> brian: most people that know him feel the exact same way. also add to that the fact that he's not retiring is some thought he led, and he did lose a child, too. and another one has had some other tribulations, and he's open about that. that seems to bring players in. in terms of what he saw last night before you left on the redeye, here is a little of the emotion felt on the field. watch. >> what an exciting game and a great coaching job andy reid. >> do you say to yourself this is going to be your time? >> whenever i get the ball i feel like it's my time. >> was that play called for you? >> yeah. >> this shows how resilient we are all year. every day we put in the work and the time. >> they can't take that away from us, ever. we stayed on task and it's more to get done. >> absolutely. what else can this team do? you seem great teams come and
