our everyday life. so, if you go this afternoon on your way home to pump gas in your car, you're being exposed to volatile organic compounds. >> jesse: so ohio fauci says don't mind the cloud of black smoke over your city. breathe it in it's organic. the same government who forced us to wear masks outside for two years now says chemical explosions in your neighborhood are just a parts of everyday life. now get back to work. we weren't allowed to go work for two years because of a virus that gave 99% of us a runny nose. but you better punch in at 9:00 a.m., ohio, even if it means inhaling mustard gas on the way. in everything's fine. just don't look in the rivers. the fish aren't dead, they're just sleeping at the surface. >> another fish. there are hundreds of them up here. another fish.

toxic chemicals on poor white people in ohio? he doesn't have time to worry about a cloud bomb, of toxic fumes over ohio? just like the e.p.a. didn't have the time to fix the animus river, remember after they spilled toxic sewage into it, remember? >> 500 gallons per minute is the rate the environmental protection agency says must card yellow con familiar nateed waste water is flowing into the animus river no southwestern, colorado. the e.p.a.'s own workers triggered the spill last wednesday in when a crew investigating the gold king mine breached a debris down. last estimate more than 3 million gallons of water containing toxic mining chemicals have discharged into the river. weekend sampling found high levels of arsenic and lead as well. >> jesse: obama administration's e.p.a. refused to pay any of that they wanted to pay but the law didn't say they had to pay. so, about those $1.2 billion in damages, we can't get involved.

even though we may or may not have caused it. e.p.a. didn't care about that river just like they don't care about east palestine. and they don't really care about safety. "primetime" just found a report that four whistleblowers inside the e.p.a. claim officials are covering up cancer-causing chemicals. whistleblowers are saying that they have been tampering with tests on chemicals to make them look less toxic so they can ride them on the rails with the bad brakes and make more money for norfolk southern. you think the e.p.a. is serious about cleaning this up? they are covering it up. tell what you is happening there is normal. just a runny nose. just a cough. just a headache. deal with it. go back to work. let's turn over to steve milloy who is an environmental employee and senior fellow institute. how bad is this, steve? >> jesse, that was the best monologue ever. you know, we don't know. it's very bad.
4:12 pm
i mean, you know, the ohio fauci said this was like vocs when you are pumping gas. no, this was vinyl chloride. the e.p.a. has spent the last 50 years scaring the ba jesus out of exposures to vinyl chloride. train wrecks have been called, you know, car loads of death. so, vinyl chloride can be very dangerous. and the problem here is that e.p.a. is not telling us what the exposures are in the air, in the water, in the soil. so we don't really know what's going on. this is after 11 days. we have no data. this is really shocking. e.p.a. administrator michael reagan as you pointed out has not showed up there. what's he doing? he is hocking electric school buses and cars and environmental justice. this is an environmental catastrophe. this is his job. but, he is too much of an empty suit to care or he can't do anything. he is just not there. and the same with buttigieg. you know, buttigieg's guy should have been walking the rails to make sure everything was going to be safe. they didn't. so now we have had a
4:13 pm
catastrophe. this is just a failure of the biden administration, a total failure. >> jesse: so the two guys it that are in charge of the environment and of the rails are both mia and it's been over a week. is there some sort of cover-up going on here with this rail company? >> well, it's hard to tell with norfolk southern. they are going to be working with closely with e.p.a. let's just say that, you know, is in charge. mentioned air was safe. it wasn't. burn pits and afghanistan. it wasn't. e.p.a. also lied about flint michigan, the water disaster there i spent 30 years working on e.p.a. issues. e.p.a. lies all the time. so i point the finger at e.p.a. norfolk southern is going to be trying to get out of this with as little cost as possible.
4:14 pm
i don't think that's really going to be possible unless they have help from the e.p.a. e.p.a. wants to get out of this, too. >> jesse: yeah, the railway tycoons will probably stack the e.p.a. with their guys. and then their guys at the e.p.a. probably leave the e.p.a. and go work for industry. i mean, that's how it works pretty much every agency throughout the government. >> right. right. there's a huge revolving door in the government and at e.p.a. and it's a real problem. there is a real coziness. when e.p.a. regulates you, you need to be e.p.a.'s friend because, if you're not, e.p.a. is going to make your life totally miserable if you are a big corporation. >> jesse: all right. well they have got to fire mayor pete. they have got to fire this reagan guy. neither of them have showed up to this as you called it environmental catastrophe and we are going to stay on this story. thanks so much, steve, we really appreciate you joining us. >> all right, jesse. thank you. >> jesse: well, the biden administration may be about to apologize to china for shooting
