and it is because her failed demonstration. i am thankful you shed light on this train wreck. she has left the station. the amount of officers working in the patrol division is almost half of what are actually detailed out into units and it just shows that she along with superintendent have no idea what they are doing or how to keep and protect chicago and keep it safe. >> ashley: you talk about half of the force, 53% of chicago's 11,700 sworn officers are assigned to districts. the remainder are assigned to the special units. that does include the 65 officers to the personal details. more than half of them can't even respond, but responding to the 911 calls. >> so the backbone of the department, those are the

officers with the 911 calls and the ones doing the street stop spear they are out there in uniform and basically the visible deterrence out there. and uses smoke and mirrors basically. what you see is the number that actually detailed out of these units that are actually in units like her protection detail. she has over 110 officers and protection detail. when these districts are starved for manpower and officers with jobs, sometimes they have cars actually running basically on a skeleton crew. it is unsafe for the officers, the response times and unsafe for the systems of the community. >> ashley: john, we are two weeks away from the mayoral election. she made these claims that put the police on the streets in areas suffering the most. is this true or just a cover-up because the election is coming up?

>> that is exactly what it is. the election is two weeks away and we hope and pray she doesn't make it to the runoff. and chicago sends her packing. if you were to look at the detail of those districts coming up in the district she's looking about, in inglewood, you have the number of officers listed on the chart but 164 officers are actually detailed out to units like hers. 265 officers detailed to the academy. we have 4,000 officers in various units that need to be thinned out and put back and patrol until we can build up the manpower. this political rhetoric, smoke and mirrors, and i feel pretty confident that she should be gone in a couple of weeks. the election is in two weeks. hopefully, she will be gone then and she can take her superintendent and repacking.

saying that, and knowing that, who are you blaming for the situation? >> well, very clearly, this has been promoted by jay inslee and bob ferguson as well as to democrat senators who sponsor the bill originally and mostly a democrat bill. what we see now is cathy is correct about this. these locations have become cash cows. the state is paying $35,000 a month for these private people to basically and they are company set up these violent predators. they are paying so much money that they are willing to do almost anything to put them in these homes regardless how much neighbors and kids in the neighborhood are put at risk. >> ashley: cathy, is there anything people in the community can stop this from happening? or is this a lost cause and just going to happen because the lawmakers, that is what they want? >> we are riling the community.

we have been extremely blessed to live in a community that cares about kids. we have signs all around the community, basically saying, keep our children safe. there are two bills that is a health bill, 1734 and 1813 that will allow for the process to be expanded. it would also put a pause on this program until the right people can perfect it appeared that communities could be involved in this process. so, there are ways that we can put pressure on our lawmakers. we also will put pressure on the individuals, the owners that will be holding a peaceful protest in front of their homes to make them feel as uncomfortable as the neighbors they currently house. we have got one individual that has committed over admittedly

committed over 500 child molestation spirit that has been placed in a home surrounded by children. >> ashley: oh, my gosh, getting chills. glen, i will give you the last word. what is your biggest concern as i can imagine there are multiple things, but if there is one thing that concerns you, what is it? speak with the state already has a location perfectly safe to keep most of these violent predators on an island in puget sound. and they have it there right now and a perfect facility for housing them, no victims for them to go after out there. there was no logical reason for them to remove these violent's sex predators there and dump them willy-nilly throughout neighborhoods all over washington state. i think if we make a big enough noise and draws much attention as we can to this anticorruption i think it inspires and paying so much money to house these guys, we can reverse these policies. >> ashley: keep making this noise. these people should be
