6:00 pm
>> has anyone apoll jazzed to you from the base. >> absolutely not. everyone is still in their positions. >> every single officer involved should be fired. we'll be back. have the best time with the ones you love. see you tomorrow. [ applause ] >> sean: wow, look at this. what a crowd. so, for the rest of the country, i want you to know there are a few normal people in new york city. thank you all for coming tonight. great to see you. back with our live studio audience here in new york city. a few normal people exist here. a great show tonight. going to be joined by virginia governor glen youngkin, yeah,
6:01 pm
right, south dakota governor christi noem, and the person who should be the governor of new york, lee zeldin is here tonight in the studio. but to want, we begin with the washington swamp where biden's balloon saga, it is now on week three. and it's getting nuttier by the day. now, today's developments raise far more questions than you can imagine. now, earlier, your, joey, the of the united states, finally said something about the other three objects besides the chinese spy balloon that he decided to shoot down over north america air space last week with $400,000 missiles that you paid for. don't expect clarity from joe biden. here's the truly frightening part -- joe has no idea he told us today, none, at all, whatsoever, what these objects were. where they came from? what they were doing? he has no idea what he ordered our military to shoot down.
6:02 pm
i am not making this up. this is what he said earlier today. take a look. >> we don't yet know exactly what these three objects were. but nothing right now suggests they were related to china's spy balloon program or they were surveillance vehicles from any other country. the intelligence community's current assessment is these three objects were balloons tied with private companies, recreation, or research institutions studying weather or conducting other scientific research. >> sean: think about this. he doesn't know what he even shot down. but he's very, very confident it wasn't from china. how on earth would he possibly know it's not from china, especially after the first chinese spy balloon? they should be the number one suspect. in my mind, they are the number one suspect. then he says, they could be research balloons. okay, does anyone here actually believe that? well, tonight, there are
6:03 pm
unconfirmed reports that one of the three objects may have been a $12 high altitude balloon now missing from an illinois-based hobby club. maybe we spend $400,000 to shoot that balloon down. so, let me get this straight. it took biden eight days to shoot down a known chinese spy balloon that they said they -- they knew this was coming from the moment of takeoff. it travelled into alaska air space down the west coast to canada, into idaho. and over our nuclear silos in montana, and sensitive military installations in kansas, missouri, kentucky, north carolina and south carolina and right off of the atlantic coast where they finally shot it down after they got all of the intelligence they could have ever dreamed of. but with three random floating objects, that might be research balloons or $12 balloons from a hobby club, or something else, joe doesn't know. our ordered the shooting down of an object that he has no idea
6:04 pm
what he shot down. and by the way, he shot them down in two cases over population senters to boot. isn't that something he claimed last week the military said -- and we reaffirmed this today, that he wasn't supposed to do. so, he had no idea what the objects were when he gave the order to blast them out of the sky. $500,000 missiles. by the way, one of the missiles missed. so it took $800,000 to shoot down one of the unidentified objects, which nowhere rad is suggesting you can't rule out, it may be alien-related. (laughter)>> sean: okay, beam me up, scottie. think how stupid -- for a second, think how the world is viewing this. think how other nations are viewing this. i see this -- i heard this today, and as an american, i just felt nothing but sheer embarrassment. watching joe biden as weak, disorganized, confused, frail,
6:05 pm
incompetent. it was -- it was downright humiliating and embarrassing. and it even got worse. take a look. >> thank you very much. (multiple speakers) sir, there's been a criticism -- there's been criticism that -- there's been criticism that -- (multiple speakers) >> sir, mr. president, mr. president, there's been criticism. >> give me a break, man. of. >> overreact? >> mr. president, there was criticism that this was overreaction done because of political pressure. >> come to my office and ask the question where we have more polite people. >> sean: he did -- now, think about this. joe biden said, this was not a big deal. this is not a problem. this is not a massive breach, echoed by his brilliant gilling vice president kamala harris. he then shuffles back to a back room without answering a single question. so, we have mr. lying dog face
6:06 pm
pony soldier biden valuing politeness, of course, we all know what's going on here. joe biden is not mentally capable of answering any tough questions, especially about his family's very deep financial ties to china. we need answers. because we -- the american people have a right to know how much money and business did joe, hunter, and jim biden and the rest of them do with the communist chinese. are they bought and paid for? are they compromised. what compromising materials might the chinese and the russians and the ukrainians and other countries have on the former crack addict that was doing these deals for daddy giving daddy half of his income. that would be hunter biden. to joe, those questions are not relevant. to us, they are. now, for eight long days, joe biden did nothing as china hovered over our nuclear sites, our military bases, collected untold amounts of data. and when it was all said and
6:07 pm
done, he reassured his friends in the communist party of china, it's no big deal. joe's words -- this was not a major breach. if that's not a major -- how many of you think is this is a major breach? if you think? i think it's a major breach. your giggling vice president kamala harris said it won't impact our relationship in any way. why not? now, in the mean, the communist chinese are threatening us. they're foaming at the mouth. they're berating the biden administration, they're livid and app po mrektic that joe biden shot down their spy balloon over our territory and they're threatening the united states with retaliation. in their minds, they're acting as if we flew a spy balloon over china. joe takes it and shows the world nothing but weakness. it makes you wonder who biden answers to. it's not we, the american people. china maintains ownership of thousands of acres of farm land, ranch land, all across the country. did y'all know that?
6:08 pm
thousands and thousands of acres. i would like to buy thousands of acres of ranch land and farm land in china. you think they'll sell it to me? i doubt it. that includes, by the way, 300 acres near grand forks air force base in north dakota, 15,000 acres near laugh land air base in texas. more land near nuclear sites in montana, more in wyoming, and 15,000 acres in the nation's capital in the commonwealth of virginia now. now, if joe had any courage at all, he would confiscate all of that land, he would do it in the name of national security, and he would do it for free and take it an as partial payment for the covid devastation that the communist chinese unleashed on this country and the entire world. and lied about it. thank you. now, this week, we do have some politicians that get it. as it relates to china. one is in virginia. the virginia legislature, they
6:09 pm
banned america's geopolitical foes from buying any foreign land in virginia. governor glen youngkin passed on a potential deal with the ford motor company that he referred to as a trojan horse for china. in a statement, ford did not deny the business relationship with china. anyway, here with more, virginia governor glenn youngkin. welcome to the program. >> great to be with you. thank you for having me. >> sean: let me start with the balloon part. how is it possible that a first allowed a chinese spy balloon. they knew it was a spy balloon, to travel all across the entire country and then shoot it down after it goes off of the east coast? and how is it that the orders the shooting down of objects that he has no idea what they are. and then says with certainty that it's not chinese at all. with no way to tell what it is. he doesn't even know what it is. >> well, i -- joe biden dunth understand what the chinese are
6:10 pm
up to. the chinese have one goal. that's world domination at the expense of the united states. doe in my business career, i had the opportunity to sit across the table from leaders in the chinese communist party. i know what they're up to. we have to react strong and swiftly. he reacts weak and slowly. all it does is opens up a sense that they can push us even further. they're going to use every ounce of capability they have. surveillance through balloons and tiktok. economic coercion trying to infiltrate with relationships and joint ventures that push them into our economy to enrich their communist party-controlled companies. and they're going to try to intimidate us with their military presence. this is a moment to be strong and swift, not weak and slow. >> sean: well, let me ask -- [ applause ] >> sean: i have to give you a lot of credit. i know like every governor, you want to bring as many jobs into your state, your commonwealth as possible.
6:11 pm
what ford motor company approaches you about an electric vehicle deal, i'm sure you are very interested. you turn that deal down because of the china component and relationship. explain why? >> well, it was -- it was clear that the structure that ford was using was simply one to -- to mask through a relationship that really is a trojan horse relationship to allow cattle, c-a-t-l, a company controlled and influenced by the chinese communist party. the the ceo is a member of the most senior industrial planning group of the communist party to get into the u.s. market and to tap in to taxpayer incentives that are put in place to try to develop a non-communist party supply chain for electric vehicles. it was clear what was going on. i didn't think u.s. taxpayer money nor virginia taxpayer
6:12 pm
money should be used to provide incentives for this kind of relationship. and what we're seeing today, of course, is, we have a bipartisan group of senators who were calling for a real answers to tough questions about this relationship. and, sean, even today, the chinese government says they have concerns that they're -- that catl's technology will be taken away by the united states. this was the relationship i was not going to see happen in the commonwealth of virginia. i hope it gets the scrutiny that it deserve because it's a trojan horse relationship for a company controlled by the chinese communist party. >> sean: let me go to another point that you mentioned. i give you credit for this too. you're not allowing chinese nationals to buy up farmland or ranchland or land near military installations in the commonwealth of virginia. i hope every governor in the country follows your lead on this. i think it's insanity we're allowing this to happen.
6:13 pm
it's happening with literally tens and tens of thousands of acres. why are we allowing that to happen? they are our number one geopolitical foe? >> yeah, this cannot be allowed to happen. here in virginia, we're home to the pentagon, quantico, the largest naval base in the world. wallace island where we're launching missiles for the government. and we can't begin to allow entities that are owned and controlled by the chinese government to buy up our farmland. ( so, we're not going to let it happen. it was swift and quick and proactive. we're going to protect virginia's farmland by being owned by bad actors. i think every state should do this at the federal government. it won't get to it. the federal government should get to it as well. it should be land owned by americans or at least entities that we trust and know and not allow the bad actors to buy up the land across america. >> governor, last question, are you thinking about running for.
6:14 pm
>> sean, you are so kind to even offer that question. i'm humbled by it. i am focused on virginia. we have a lot to do here. >> sean: i'm going to be kind and ask it -- most people don't like to answer that question. that's why i was asking. >> well, i am very focused on virginia and i think we've got an enormous amount to address with reducing taxes, investing in law enforcement, investing in our schools. you know, parents matter in virginia. we go to work every day to make sure that we protect the rights of oh our parents to make decisions for their children. this is a constant effort to make sure that we're advancing this agenda. and i'm at work every day. i'm for virginians making sure we're protecting their interests. >> sean: we appreciate you -- thank you, governor. we appreciate you. now the ccp is around $2 billion of american land, but our next guest is also vowing to crack down on china's land grab.
6:15 pm
like governor youngkin, she's leading the way in the great state of south dakota. we have governor kristi noem with us. good to see you. [ applause ] >> thank you. good to see you. >> sean: first of all, you are a pioneer. you are the first governor in the country to say no to tiktok. because our intel community has been saying it's been used as spy mechanism against americans. i give you credit for that. one of the first to say no to the chinese buying up farmland, ranchland, and land near military installationings. give you credit for that. how did you come to those decisions? >> i have also done an executive order that says we will not do state contracts and telecommunications companies will not do business in south dakota that affiliate themselves with china as well. we've been aggressive on fighting this threat that biden will not address. i have a bill i'm working with a couple of legislators in south dakota to ban china for being able to buy up our farmland,
6:16 pm
agriculture is the number one industry in our state but we're also home of ellsworth air force base. ellsworth will be the home of the b21s, the next generation of bombers to protect the united states of america for many years to come. china would love to set up shop next door and conduct surveillance on that platform. we won't allow it. we'll make sure that our land stays under the united states control and that we won't allow enemies that hate us to come in and purchase our assets. i've been in foot security policy for many years, over 20 years. i've seen china buy up fertilizer company, chemical companies, processing systems, now they're buying our land. and they're doing it to destroy us. it's time we get a that wises up, loves this country, defends us, and stops acting like a dim wit in front of the whole world. >> sean: i think that sums it up, governor. i want to ask you about the
6:17 pm
issues with the balloon. i don't know which part is worse for me. the fact that they allowed the communist chinese to have the spy balloon go from alaska to idaho montana and all over the country before they shot it down off of the coast of the carolinas, or joe biden going out there today saying he had no earthly clue what the other three objects were that he ordered our military to shoot down with $400,000 side winder missiles. now, i don't know what's worse, or are they equally as bad. what are your thoughts? >> all equally as bad. it's unbelievable to me they don't know what these objects are yet. sean, let me tell you a story. i was standing upstairs at the governor's residence in my closet when one of my staffers came upstairs and said, governor, we need to talk to you downstairs about a national security issue that you need to be briefed on by your national guard. they indicated to me that the pentagon and the department of defense had reached out to them
6:18 pm
that they needed to be on alert because there was a foreign object in the sky over montana that would be coming into south dakota the next 24 hours and our assets may need to be utilized to take it down. now, listen, sean, this was two days before the rest of the country even knew this object existed. and the pentagon and the white house did not let me know as governor of south dakota that my national guard may be utilized, that my f-16s or my personnel have expertise and recovery of these objects might be tapped and come in and assist the united states. and they did not have any communication with me until the balloon had already crossed through south dakota when it was over the central united states. in fact, when you guys were reported on fox news that it was over montana, that balloon had already crossed in the middle of the country. so, this is the kind of deception we have going on with our administration. they've lied to the american people, covered it up, gone around governors and not communicated to us. and, frankly, i believe, they shot this balloon down over the
6:19 pm
water because they wanted to be able to decide what was onboard that balloon and if some of it was lost at sea, that they didn't want us to know about, that was an easy narrative that they could sell to us that they could keep as much quiet as they felt they wanted to. >> sean: i would have loved to have seen them retrieve it in full and take it down to earth. we can send men to the moon and land on the moon and walk around. and get back on that ship and come back home. i would think they would be able to pull that off. last question, governor, are you contemplating at all a run for the presidency? >> not today. [ applause ] >> not today, we have a lot of stuff to focus on. >> sean: it's a common theme today. we appreciate you being with us as always. thank you. time for the hannity hot seat topic. biden's pointless press conference from earlier today. here to discuss, fox news contributor charlie heard and the co-host of the hit show "the
6:20 pm
five," my friend, my brother, driving me crazy lately, geraldo rivera. good to see you. >> good to see you. thank you, thank you. >> geraldo, two presidential contenders. pretty good, sean. >> sean: how is it that the of the united states orders the shooting down of three objects, none of which you know has a clue of what it is? before you answer, please don't make me have a heart attack. >> those are the balloons from the sweet 16 party. i don't think they know. i don't think they know. i think they think this is a severe profound overreaction to the fact that they waited so long to shoot down the first. >> sean: they screwed up the first time. >> screwed up the first time. then they said, i don't know, boss, you better react. you better show we're spirited and pre-emptive. >> sean: maybe they shot down a kite from a -- >> party balloon, kites, i don't know what it is. but it's a waste of a couple of side winders and one miss, that i don't know how the guy missed.
6:21 pm
>> sean: don't you have a problem that a would make a decision that profound without any knowledge of what he's shooting at? >> i have a problem with today's press conference where you had the first opportunity -- there's the of the united states, he's explaining to his -- in his halting way what exactly was going on. and when the reporters had a chance to shout questions at him, someone asked him about hunter bide b and china dealing. it was like, what? what about>> sean: i can tell you why it's important. i'll let you tell him. is the biden family compromised in the deal to deal with china in a former position of strength. >> it's the only question i would have asked. i don't know who he's working for. but it doesn't look like he's working for the -- >> you don't want to know what happened with the balloon? >> have you ever shot at something you didn't know what it was? >> sean: no. >> it's 101. >> sean: no, if i see geraldo in my back yard, i would never shoot at him. >> go over there like this --
6:22 pm
>> it's incredible. the one balloon that appears to have been a problem that we know of was the spy balloon and he let it go all the way across the country before he took it out. and then he does all of this spending, what, $400,000 apiece for side winders. >> sean: per side winders. and misses one. >> and misses one, has to shoot a second. my problem is this guy, everything is political. nothing is based in like logic or makes sense that we know of. and that's why the question about hunter biden and the biden family's question to china is so important. because -- >> to bring it up when you talk about chinese planes -- you have to focus on what -->> sean: do you believe that the biden family is compromised by china? [ applause ] >> sean: almost everybody, geraldo. and this is your liberal city of new york, not mine. >> these are my fellow liberals not. but, listen, sean, i really do believe that biden is a decent
6:23 pm
person who's trying to do the -- (crowd: oh)>> sean: one, two, three -- oh! really? >> the fact he did not shoot the balloon down initially when he crossed through alaska is something he deeply regrets. >> sean: justifies shooting the object that -- >> i'm not saying it justifies it. it could have been party balloons or research or private companies, whatever it is. recreation, good thing it's not a guy in a gondola underneath the balloon. >> sean: that's your, geraldo. good luck. all right, we appreciate you being here. charlie, good to see you. when we come back, mayor pete under fire, another train derailed earlier today as the biden administration, yeah, abandoned the people of ohio. they are furious. we'll explain as the -- well, all that's happening comes back. and we'll check in with lee zeldin. he ran for governor. he's up next. straight ahead.
6:24 pm
hi, i'm eileen. i live in vancouver, washington and i write mystery novels. dogs have been such an important part of my life. i have flinn and a new puppy. as i was writing, i found that i just wasn't as sharp and i new i needed to do something so i started taking prevagen. i realized that i was much more clear and i was remembering the details that i was supposed to. prevagen keeps my brain working right. prevagen. at stores everywhere without a prescription.
6:25 pm
6:26 pm
6:27 pm
6:28 pm
not, another train reportedly again carrying hazardous materials derailed this time in michigan less than two weeks after the disastrous accident in east palestine, ohio. two days ago, pothole pete, mayor pete sent out a tweet touting what he called historic investments in rail safety. really? seriously? it gets worse. earlier today, the biden administration abandoned the people of ohio. they rejected governor mike dewine's request for federal disaster assistance for the area. newly elected ohio senator j.d.
6:29 pm
vance, he travelled to east palestine to see the disaster firsthand and take a look around. look what he found. take a look at this. >> hey, guys, i'm here at leslie run. there are dead worms and fish all throughout the water. something i just discovered is if you scrape the creek bed, it's like chemical is coming out of the ground. we show -- can you come here? and let me just show this to people. i don't know if you can see it in the camera. but watch this. just see that chemical pop out of the creek. this is disgusting. >> it's disgusting. it's also dangerous. we don't know the long-term impact of all of this. the fact that biden denied disaster relief is unforgivable to me. the people of palestine need to help and joe biden needs to step up. he called out the biden epa for dismissing concerns about contaminated drinking water. take a look at this. >> look, i think the epa administrator wants to stand
6:30 pm
here and tell the people tap water is safe, by all means, they should be willing to drink it. >> sean: here with reaction, dr. janet is with us along with this guy came that close as a republican in the liberal state of new york to becoming government, former u.s. congressman, ran a great campaign, lee zeldin, good to have you here. >> great to be here. >> i wish i was saying governor. doctor, look, i never played doctor. a lot of pressure was brought to bear on me to tell people what to do with covid. and i refused. i'm not a doctor. you're the doctor. i told people to take it seriously. they look at their own medical history, underlying conditions. current medical conditions. and consult with their doctors and make up their own mind. this is an environmental disaster. if you see dead fish and dead animals, you're not going to convince me that that water is healthy in and that air is safe. >> you're right, sean, this is a massive environmental disaster.
6:31 pm
that train was carrying a multitude of different chemicals. one of those chemicals is vinyl chloride. and this is listed as a class level a carcinogen. what that means is, it is known to cause cancer. specifically liver damage -- leukemia, blood cancers, breast cancers, and, then, when you burn it, you're going to get the by-products. the by-products as well, they're very harmful, dangerous. one of them was used as a chemical warfare weapon back in world war i because it causes burning of the eyes, itching of the skin, difficulty breathing. and that's what the residents in the community of east palestine are experiencing. headache and dizziness, drowsiness, rashes. and that's why the epa needs to be out there on the ground along with fema. where is fema? the red cross should be out there helping as well? and the epa needs to be testing for these by-products, not just vinyl chloride. >> sean: we don't know what the long-term effects are going to be.
6:32 pm
lee, great to see you. >> great to see you. >> sean: can you believe, here's a case where i would want the federal government to step in. this is an environmental disaster. this is -- that the people of east palestine did nothing wrong. they don't know if their water is safe to drink. they don't know if their air is safe to breathe. why is the biden administration shooting at unidentified objects. they don't even know what they're shooting at, 400,000 a shot, but they won't give aid to the people that are living in an environmental disaster? >> and mayor pete says that it's trump's fault. they want to blame regulation changes from years ago. as opposed to -->> sean: you can say it. no rules on this show. and senator vance, credit to him. he got there as the senator, tip of the spear. he's calling on norfolk southern to be responsible for the cleanup costs, to compensate the people who have been impacted, to make them whole, call out the biden administration for making them awol, mayor pete for wherever he is right now. being, you're seeing him at the
6:33 pm
sites leading. so, other members of congress, bill johnson has been out there too. but all across the country, this is leadership to step up on behalf of your constituents. norfolk southern didn't want to show up to the question and answer session, probably concerned about liability, as far as the biden administration, they don't want to show up because they're stuck in a narrative, let's blame trump for everything. >> sean: the law pothole pete was referring to was passed in 2015. donald trump was not. it's obama and biden's law he was referring to. this is basic governance 101, isn't it? aren't they missing an opportunity -- instead of thinking about a lawsuit, how about taking care of making sure that the people are going to be safe moving forward. why is that proo process missing? >> so, there's a saying in the military. cess missing? >> so, there's a saying in the military. you heard it elsewhere, no such thing as problems in life, just challenges and opportunities.
6:34 pm
in this administration, they're stuck in this never ending democratic national convention. that's the four years. we're stuck living in it. there's the opportunity for them to lead. there's nowhere else in this country that would be better for biden to be secretary beauty jij to be on site, leading the people, making sure the full resources of the federal government are here to make sure that you're not stuck in wonderment of whether or not it's safe to drink the water. senator vance, again today, he said in the kwai with the press, if the epa administrator feels the water is good enough to drink, i would love to see the epa administrator come here and drink it themselves. >> sean: i have 20 seconds. doctor, what are the odds five years from now we'll see long term impacts from this? >> that's the problem. so many unanswered questions. long term implications, birth defects, neurological problems, respiratory problems. if you have any symptoms now, evacuate. >> sean: knowing what you know now and you owned a home there,
6:35 pm
would you leave the area? i would temporarily leave until i knew that the air, the water, the the surfaces were all safe. >> sean: governor, you came so close. anyway, lee zeldin, thank you. doctor, thank you. [ applause ] >> sean: straight ahead, after weeks of delays, biden finally has his physical today. okay. is anyone really buying the words that his doctor used to describe joe biden? we'll tell you what he said. also, don lemon, fake news cnn, he got in a little bit of trouble this morning on comments that he made about women. we'll check in with jimmy, joe, pam. they're in studio. our great american panel coming up, straight ahead.
6:36 pm
6:37 pm
6:38 pm
6:39 pm
6:40 pm
>> sean: so, after weeks of delays and speculation about his fitness, your, joe biden, finally had a physical today. despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, white house's physician ken o connor referred to joe biden as a, quote, healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male -- this -- it's not one person that buys this. now, would anyone here use vigorous to describe joe biden? anybody? i don't think so. who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency. does anybody buy that? >> no! >> sean: no, i don't either. obama's former doctor from chicago thinks biden's health is a serious concern because of his prior brain aneurysms. and as politico reporting, the other senior democrats have privately been raising concerns about his cognitive issues and age but afraid to go public
6:41 pm
because they don't want to open the door for kamala harris in 2024. she, the giggling vice president may be worse than him. so, is biden really healthy and vigorous as his doctor claims? well, we report -- we're going to let you at home decide. (laughter). >> now, this is going to have a major impact on the environment, what we're doing. specifically, we do some carbon in the air as we begin to move these 500,000 charging stations around the world -- around the country. i told governor murphy once every time i hear the of the united states, i look around and i say, where the hell is he? but i make no apologize -- i make no apologies. >> hey, right here! (multiple speakers)
6:42 pm
>> all of this is going to take millions of barrels of oil off of the road. >> compromised by the failing system. >> mr. president, mr. president. >> give me a break, man. >> what i'm going to do -- i'm going to be quiet, right. you can come to my office and ask the question, there will be more polite people. >> and -- (crickets)>> sean: welcome, great american panel, former florida attorney general pam bondi, fox news contributor joe concha and fox across america host jimmy. >> hey. >> good to see you. >> good to see you. >> all right, big news today. is joe concha's birthday. wish him a happy birthday. >> really? >> any big plans? >> my wife taking me away for the weekend. she got me a hot air balloon ride. >> oh. >> now, the weird thing is, i
6:43 pm
