>> todd: the breaking news. >> ashley: a florida journalist and 9-year-old girl gunned down wednesday afternoon by suspect wanted in an early deadly shooting at the same scene. the slain journalist has been identified by his fiancee as 24-year-old dylan lyons with gofundme link tweeted "the love of my life was murdered. i will never be the same person ever again. officials say two others were hurt including a photographer and mother of the 9-year-old girl. the authorities responded to the scene of a homicide yesterday where they found a 20 year old girl shot dead. later that evening 213 news reporters were on the scene reporting the crime. the same suspect return to the scene and opened fire on them around 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. the suspect walked into nearby residents killing a 9-year-old girl and seriously injuring her mother. speak with the deputies located

two men who had been shot in or near a vehicle. they are news 13 reporter and photographer who were on the scene to cover it this morning. a woman and her 9-year-old girl also shot inside of a home. it is unclear why the suspect entered the home. speak with the authorities arrested keith moses yesterday in connection to all three shootings. he was seen smirking as officers took him away in handcuffs. he has a lengthy criminal history and assault with a deadly weapon and battery. the authorities believe he knew the first victim but no connection to the rest of them. it is unclear if he was targeting the news crew because police say their van was not marked with its local pure the local community has been shaken by the senseless murders. twe are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleagues and other life senselessly taken today.

we remain hopeful the other colleague who was injured will fully recover. this is a terrible tragedy. a fellow colleague taken to twitter writing, "this is absolutely horrific and heartbreaking. everyone close to my colleagues in everyone who lost their lives and these tragic shootings." the mother is in critical condition this morning. in the 13 photographers reportedly healing and able to speak with the investigators, todd and ashley. >> ashley: absolutely horrible, brooke singman, thank you. kim gardner has today to resign or will face removable bowl proceedings. the volleyball star lost her legs in a crash caused by a man with multiple bond violations. daniel rightly supposed to be on house arrest in the record show he violated over 40 times. no kim is fa very serious backlh against widely in the case that landed him in house arrest last

year. in a statement yesterday, she defended herself writing, "it is unfortunate that there are those who twist the facts to take advantage of the situation for their own selfish motives. this is not the time for finger-pointing. she went on to blame the judge in riley's case for allowing the suspect to be on the streets. this is also for anyone who may have forgotten the same circuit attorney whose office didn't show up to a murder trial and they had to drop the charges. she has upwards of 3,000 cases backlogged. so i'm not quite sure what this attorney is doing. i don't know what the office is doing because it seems like nothing. todd, i cannot tell you, i'm from missouri but every time i go to st. louis, i'm always worried something bad is going to happen. it has gotten more and more dangerous the longer time goes on. you have people like this in charge of giving these criminals off of the streets. you can't rely on people like

left mayors are seeing this huge increase in crime that we have been covering now for three years. >> ashley: this morning, when i saw the attorney general in missouri andrew bailey demanding she resign by noon or will go forward with the proceedings. i'm not sure how that would work. how difficult it would be to get her out of office. but my question why is it getting to this point? this has been happening for a long time with her. this is nothing new. it is so unfortunate that i can't tell you how many volleyball games i've gone to with my family doing the exact same thing that she was doing with her parents, walking to their hotel. and because this guy had violated his house arrest 40 times, how are you still on house arrest if you have been violating 40 times coursework shouldn't you be back in jail? >> todd: lets remember she is the victim here. she has a life altering injuries because of this. to your point on the 40 times, white gps monitoring if you know

walk us through that. >> there is many reasons they can get into trouble. some of them are from the low pay scales. they worry about formula for the baby. they are worried about how they can put food on the table and have gas in their cars if they have to go somewhere. we see it every day. and our numbers have increased weekly since 2021. >> todd: wow! >> ashley: jerry, need your thoughts on these pictures and news reports of illegal migrants who are getting food, free food and tossing it in the trash because they say it is not good enough. how does that make you feel knowing the military members and american taxpayers, those who are protecting our soil, how that should make them feel? >> very angry.

these are the people that keep us safe and warm at night and we are failing our folks. depending on where they are stationed at. i have a daughter, son-in-law stationed in alaska. the cost of living is very high here. although spouses would like to work, but having young kids, there was a wave list count there but once i get child care, it is not cost-effective for them to work. so, it is a one income family on a very low income. >> todd: joe biden signed $858 billion defense spending bill. you need to tell me, there is no money and that $858 billion defense code to make sure military families cannot have

♪ ♪ >> ashley: a fox news alert, we are driving a massive coast-to-coast tour with blizzard conditions in 25 states. >> todd: more than 800,000 people without power across the country. 1300 flights canceled today with hundreds more delayed. marianne rafferty joining us live from l.a. where you guys are getting a blizzard? >> yes, unbelievable, good morning todd and ashley. dangerous weather coast-to-coast as frigid conditions continue to shutdown countries across the country. and under a winter alert, seven

of them resort warnings including the los angeles area for the first time since 1989. the midwest, especially minnesota is expected to get the worst of it though. minneapolis with a snow emergency ahead of the storm as up to 200 feet of snow. and of course snow, extreme cold, rain, sleet and as you can imagine this is impacting travel in a big way. more than 1700 flights canceled wednesday and over 6400 delayed. as of this morning, already more than 1300 cancellations and over 400 delays with more expected as it advances across the country. four major airlines issued waivers for peoples travel plans disrupted. as many showing up to airports only to learn they are stranded. >> our flight was originally supposed to leave around 7:00. and we got a text message after arriving here early that our flight was going to be delayed

about an hour and a half and now leaving sometime around 9:00. >> i could be doing other things, and i don't have to do things, but i could be. so, it is another day out of my life. >> we are told large portions of interstate 94 that cuts across the midwest into wisconsin is closed due to crashes and poor visibility. meanwhile freezing rain and sleet from iowa to michigan and to the northeast and all the snow and ice causing widespread power outages. michigan right now reporting the most with 600,000 without power followed by illinois with 100,000 and power out in the thousands from california to wisconsin and new york. schools across the country also snowed in trying to decide whether to declare a snow day or distance learning. according to fox weather, the storm will continue through thursday and wind down early friday just in time for a week

addicts, but the innocent victims, people that are -- there is no such thing as experimenting with drugs anymore because of the cost that comes with using. you are finding that a lot of people that are a first-time user, not only injected, but it comes in pill form also that are having these side effects. and even as high as death, obviously. >> ashley: right and it is nor can resistant and everything you described as scary as it is but the fact that it is resistant to narcan, do you know what that is? >> everything that i know of it, it is not -- it is sort of a synthetic obo eat so narcan is treating one thing and it is also in the class of benzodiazepine which narcan has no effect. there has been 20 of time, i

putting it on next month's ballot. so they are going to have the successor elected next year. meanwhile, they want to vacate the office to replace him and obviously there is a wisconsin law. he is entitled to keep the seat until a successor is elected. >> todd: i'm trying to go on election law in general and sorry to put you on the spot, attorney for on the ballot there is a certain indication that people vote for about four, the for argument, but for what is on the ballot. the vote went the way it did. i guess i'm not understanding how there can be in the argument mr. meadows. >> they arguably played out kenosha county and very good judges in wisconsin state court. and the school board members and the school board to vacate elected members whenever they

want for replacements, it seems like an unconstitutional power grab spirits for that seems like a slippery slope at the school board. we don't want this guy so we enter the election because he's conservative. that leads you to my next question mr. meadows, is this happening simply because you are a conservative? >> i can't say for sure but i have my suspicions and it is entirely possible. >> todd: what are the positions you have taken that have ruffled feathers in your town? >> i got into the school board race because i want to better education for my daughter. they were ready to close schools and mandate mask and i got in to fight against that. i'm a very pro-parent choice conservative. i'm a very physical minded conservative. i want to bring in restrain spending in the district. there hasn't been in here for a while and i think i might have upset some people. >> todd: big picture here, how worried should we all be that certain forces, and i will use

that phrase loosely, certain forces want to ignore the voters simply when it comes to conservatives like eric meadows? >> i think the progressives are seriously committed with hundreds of millions of dollars, not billions to win collections at all cost and violating the law. this is just another example. we see this more and more in local races as we have seen national and state races. so we should be very concerned. in fact, dallas a different election integrity and this is one of 100 lawsuits we are pursuing nationwide. >> todd: mr. meadows, final word to you. how far are you going to fight this? >> i want to fight for election integrity. it is the right thing to do and the just thing to do and i want to take this as far to give the voters what they want. >> todd: i appreciate the both of you coming on. this is scary, ultimately what this could lead to as the attorney said the fact you could potentially say it's a school
