doubt that i did it. did this happen here? possibly. there is a redirect on monday from his attorney, his attorney will try to correct all of the holes the prosecutors made, the redirect will try to fill those holes. if there is one person on the jury who gets caught up in the charm, gets caught up in the family history with this man, reasonable doubt, that doesn't mean he gets off, there could be a mistrial, the prosecution could choose to try him again but when you are in a situation with someone like this who wants to take the stand, you are hoping, that is his hope, that he can just con one person. pete: and he is a good storyteller. i'm going to ask you both this. in your mind, what is the piece of evidence, or the one fact, the steps that he took

afterwards, pacing quickly and dramatically about after the murders, the fact that he was there two minutes before the murders and lied about it, what is the one piece of evidence, the one fact that you find the most compelling for his guilt? >> the time frame, with him leaving, there's argument that there were dogs, that would be barking, he didn't hear anything, he's out of earshot of everything, that is a problem. pete: what is the one fact or piece of evidence he cannot overcome? >> it is his dead son's cell phone which places him at the scene of the crime, almost literally moments before the murders, but on top of that, he claims he went over and touched the bodies, checked them, tried to turn his son's bodies over, he would have blood on them and
