ukraine even to kyiv itself. we do not want that but the problem is if you just talk about it please don't do this president biden's team has done so far, the chinese don't really know the consequences of doing it. i would suggest for example closing the american embassy in beijing. it has 2500 staff at the largest embassy in the world. banning with congressional support, banning all new investment in chinese technology companies or other parts of china. extremely serious measures need to be pointed out to the chinese but also taiwan that's the most sensitive nerve. we are going to increase the number of american trainers there. we have never sent combat troops or command planners to taiwan but we could do that if china thanks oh my gosh we help the russians and ukraine we begin to turn taiwan that could make sheeting paying think twice and not do it.

[laughter] so i have been many, many times since the beginning of the war. i've spent almost six months of the last year in ukraine. and the first time i was injured unfortunately. but it took a week off to recover back here in the u.s. and then what went right back again. my most recent route trip i returned about a month ago. >> at one point you were a medic you've also learned how to fire antitank missiles like the javelins and that sort of thing? >> that is correct. unfortunate did not have a prior military experience. i met up with other americans in ukraine that did have prior military experience they were able to teach me. they taught me how to room clear, we were able to impart that knowledge onto local ukrainians to help them with their volunteer battalions. they were extremely helpful in

guiding me and how to act and operate in wartime. >> and heavy engage in combat. you were injured, tell us about that question you saved a ukrainians life? >> that is correct too. i was injured march 20, 2022 right at the beginning of the war just north of kyiv. we are about 10 -- 15 kilometers behind enemy lines on a reconnaissance mission when our vehicle hit an antitank mine. and unfortunately that passenger who was in the front right passenger seats, his left leg was amputated as a result of that injury. we were able to pull him out of the vehicle, get a tourniquet on him and thankfully everyone else the vehicle was okay except for some minor injuries and minor shrapnel wounds. >> wow you just scared when you're deployed? >> never scared. for some reason when i go over there it's just about the mission.
