whether president biden will run for reelection on the sunday shows. here's something interesting, west virginia center democrat joe manchin won't too backbite and it yet. >> are you going to endorse joe biden if he runs for reelection? >> is a problem with america right now we start an election every time there's a cycle per. >> he is the leader of your party. the crux of the bottom line is let's see who is involved. >> meantime marianne williamson is officially running for the democratic nomination. she says it is obvious the dnc is rigging the system for president biden. exit dnc should not be rigging the system for they do not even pretend anymore per they are not even covid about their swaying the primary season they are very overt about it. success of the doing the rigging the system? >> they even admit that jon jonathan. proxy is also the incumbent so we should make note of that. charlie, going to begin with you. let's go back to center manchin here.
2:02 pm
he is in a really interesting position here. his party needs him to run for reelection. he would be expected to do pretty well. he's also a critical voice gets a more progressive faction of his country. and now he will not officially back the president yet. >> they also need him to get anything done in the senate, which is going to be a real problem for them because of course manchin is up himself in 2024. he is going to have to run on the same ticket, the same ballot with joe biden and all these crazy left-wing policies that are going to be really, really hard to sell to west virginia voters. and so, it's interesting as he has been over the past couple of years he is going to become even more. politicians are really good at this. when they work one side or the other, they are really good at becoming the squeaky wheel to get things. he has been very effective at that. and we are going to see this i think in places far beyond west virginia as well.
2:03 pm
the crazy biden policies that have run the country off track are not just unappealing to people west virginia bread they are broadly unappealing to a lot of other voters. i think you're going to end up with a lot not just joe manchin, a lot of people are going to be on the ticket next year, who are going to be not showing up at campaign events with biden. avoiding him, trying to avoid at any cost to stick up for him. >> in originally, center manchin said he was not going to run for president he's walked that back and said he's joking. and he addressed that earlier today, listen. proxy bottom line is i will make my political decision in december whatever it might be. >> run for president? >> i'm not taking anything off the table not putting anything on the table. >> the most non- answer. >> there is no table. [laughter] you can't really blame him.
2:04 pm
i think what is important to remember to is the campaign process is going to look a lot different in 2024 than it did in 2020 were joe biden was able to do a whole campaign are mostly an entire campaign from a basement because of covid. and now everyone except for maybe the most unhinged of the unhinged are over covid. biden himself got covid was o okay. he cannot be too afraid of covid inviting being okay is going to look like a completely different thing. when we see him whenever we see the president, which is very rare it becomes more obvious why we don't see them more often. he seems to have some issues coming out making these appearances. obviously no secret regardless of politics he seems to be having a rough time for his an older guy i don't think i will live to be that long. keeping up with those demands will be a lot more difficult. i think things could change by the day.
2:05 pm
you've got to be honest do you really see this man being our president, even passed his 86th birthday? so many people don't want to say that but it's not really a political thing is kind of like a numerical basic thing about humans. i don't think it should be that hard to say i don't think that looks realistic. because again i don't think i will live to be that i'll be in the ground already. i think will see other people want to run i really do it's hard to say that and i understand people want to push that and pump that as far as they can. >> is something that cannot be avoided. something that's really interesting i want to get your take on this. the "new york times" did a piece on illinois governor, democrat who says he supports biden. however the headline was the democrats sos candidate keeps his options open. he had this to say with regard
