maybe he will beyond "fox and friends". rachel: and bbq. rachel: back to you. pete: it has been a month since the devastating toxic train derailment in east palestine, ohio. president biden has not visited and no trip is scheduled. the ohio governor is calling on the epa and norfolk southern to move contaminated soil immediately, 24,000 tons of soil still waiting to be removed from the community. governor mike dewine joins us to get answers. your more frustrated than anybody. why would there be a delay in removing toxic soil from east palestine? >> you summarized it pretty well. there's been about 3000 tons that have been transported out. the digging continues. what they are doing is piling it up.

the us epa and the railroad are working hard to find locations. this thing has become political in places that would normally take this product. they are being turned down in places that are taking stuff that is more dangerous every single day. they have to deal with that. i was frustrated we've got this pile, but in talking to the railroad and the epa a, i'm hopeful that next week, we will start seeing a number of trucks go out of their and piled down some. that is what the people of east palestine really want to see. i am cautiously optimistic. everybody is trying.

it is frustrating when it is still there, but i'm hopeful. rachel: i can't help thinking of this it happened in the hamptons or martha's vineyard the president would have already been there, this dirt would have been, this soil would have already been removed, your thoughts? >> i honestly think everybody is trying to get this out. the us epa has worked closely with the ohio epa. we were there are matter of hours after this derailment. a very difficult situation. what is going on now, one track has been taken out, that has been going on right there. the other thing i should mention. i talked to our attorney general, dave yost, about this. what really needs to happen, there needs to be a fund set up where the railroad will put up

a significant amount of money and that fund, to take care of people's needs and problems as we go forward. i talked to people in east palestine, for most of them their number one concern is i don't know how this will impact the family, i want to make sure there is some money to take care of medical needs and other things that might arise, the uncertainty that is bothering people. i am optimistic that we can get something going. involved with alan shah and others at the railroad. i am optimistic. that is what we have to tell the people of east palestine, take care of your problems not

clothing at a flea market. reportedly traveling in the mid-90s green chevy silverado heading to a mexican city three hours away. the fbi and border patrol are aware of the situation. families of the missing women also say they are in touch with police in mexico. interesting we are only hearing about this now. pete: we will see what other details emerge but this comes on the heels of increasingly contentious relationship between united states, republicans agitating saying let's do more and the mexican government denying involvement for these cartels and mexico's president had the audacity to say that they have no fentanyl problem at all. instead it is our fault, he's threatening to launch an information campaign targeting us politicians.

will: former director of national intelligence john ratcliffe is here to respond. this clearly, congress's actions by unanimous consent, both parties agreeing this is something that is deserved by the american people, seems important. i'm asking you this in all earnestness. what would be the reason for the president not to sign that bill, not to reveal that intelligence? >> the reason is he doesn't want to confront china just as he hasn't for the last two years on any issue. no offense whether it is a million americans being killed as a result of a virus or hundreds of thousands being killed as a result of chinese fentanyl, flying spy craft across the country, the biden administration wants china to be a friendly competitor. that's not the case, the intelligence is clear that china is who we warned that they were.

millions, and we put out as much intelligence as we could, including some that showed the first covid victims were scientists at that same laboratory that later disappeared. we thought that would compel the incoming administration to do what they should do now. we thought it would compel democrats in congress to hold hearings on this but the first hearing on this issue is just this week and this administration has not declassified anymore intelligence so now they are being forced to do that. rachel: covering for china, glad you brought up the scientists who disappeared, that was the first clue in the first month. we knew that but also covering for fauci and our involvement in gain of function research, tax dollars being spent there, and fauci actively trying to cover up his tracks about his involvement in this.

your baby is due in april. the baby went supersonic. what do you think? how did you feel? >> it was quite an adventure. we don't get to fly in formation very often. one of the couple flights i flew we were flying in formation together. we were able to go supersonic in that airspace. it was a great feeling. i am proud to be carrying the next generation of hopefully bomber pilots. rachel: this is part of a new rule in the air force, they are allowing women who are pregnant even up to the third trimester to go on these types of flights. >> yes, the change came last fall when we shifted to allow pilots who fly in ejection seat aircraft to fly in their second master. i jumped at the opportunity.

you don't have to but if i could be in the jet i wanted to be in the jet. rachel: you went to the us weapons air force weapon school. is that correct? >> it is. we've been very lucky. we have gone through pilot training together. i followed the class behind for weapons school. rachel: how is it having your wife, how did it affect the relationship in the competition that goes on? >> our whole careers we have been at the same points at the same time. that competition has always been there but we do a good job of when we are at home we are at home and when we are work we are at work. rachel: she is making a tiny human so she wins.
