tv   The Ingraham Angle  FOX News  March 14, 2023 7:00pm-8:00pm PDT

7:00 pm
tomorrow night we'll be doing a live audience show, thursday night. if you want to be a part of the show, go to hannity.com for your information how to get free tickets. tomorrow, mma's connor mcgregor will join us live. that's all the time we have left. set your dvr. let not your heart be troubled. laura, do you like mma? >> laura: i love mma. and i like amm. and i can't wait to see how you do against connor in the cage match that i'm setting up. >> sean: i'm not fighting him. >> laura: i'm a promoting for this fight. you'll raise a lot of money for charity. you'll be knocked out in the first 30 seconds. i'm looking forward to it. i have to roll. they're yelling at me. >> sean: i could last 30 seconds. >> laura: 25. all right. thanks, sean. great show. i'm laura ingraham.
7:01 pm
this is "the ingraham angle." thanks for being with us tonight. welcome to the new patriacharchy. i always liked politics. i always likes drew barrymore. >> do you remember how you got the role in et? >> they interviewed me for poltergeist. they said she's not like the girl in the part, in the script. so kathy kennedy, the producer of "e.t." said maybe she's right for "e.t." drew barrymore, "e.t." >> thank you for this award. >> i appreciate it very much. >> laura: at the age of 7 when most of us were playing hide and go seek, she now the power of film and how to use the camera
7:02 pm
for maximum effect. she still knows how to use the camera when she interviewed dylan mulvaney. >> we're all supposed to figure out who we're supposed to be. bravery, the risk -- >> i had no idea how vulnerable i was willing to get. coming out can be so intense. i kind of wanted to add some humor. >> it's my lifeline. i do think there was so much that came up this year that i had no idea that i was going to have to figure out in womanhood. in vulnerable things that i didn't even though were there. >> laura: mulvaney is a tik tok star that series 365 days of girlhood became a smash hit. mulvaney is not a girl but a
7:03 pm
transgender that dresses like jackie o with a love yourself message that drew drove to her knees. >> where do you find the strength to keep being the joy? >> well, i think having my chosen family and the people that i love to take care of me. i look at someone like you and i can't imagine anybody disliking you. >> oh, please. do you know -- you want to know who dislikes me the sometimes? >> who? >> myself. >> me too. >> laura: that wasn't planned out or anything. let's pause. what does it mean to young women, that one of the most well-connected and most successful women in hollywood gets on her knees to pay homage to a biological man that makes money advising women on how to be women. how to cope as women.
7:04 pm
how is this female empowerment? oh, note the devious message from mulvaney about her chosen family. the implicit message here, your actual probably probably won't celebrate your gender transition. so the heck with them. how insulting to women who real world concerns are much more pragmatic like paying the mortgage, making sure their kids are safe, that they're learning and as far as uniquely female challenges from menopause to child birth to breast feeding, mulvaney is not the place to look for answers here. democrats like to claim that they have a monopoly on protecting women and girls. >> human rights are women's rights and women's rights are human rights once and for all. >> this is part of that girl power network. this is how we rise up together. >> i take some, for lack of a better term, bad ass glee saying
7:05 pm
women, you know how to get it done. i want women to see that you do not get pushed around. >> laura: but that is precisely what the rabid forces relentlessly sell the trans culture are doing. >> i was forced to compete against two biological males. i raced against them a dozen times. every time, i lost. >> it's not okay. it's not fair. we're dealing with something that is out of our control when we're racing biological males. >> the fact that that is still happen, the fact that women are still losing to males shows why we need for female athletes to speak up about this. >> laura: okay. if you're a female athlete and you have the gal to explain, you may be cancelled. this is what happened to a girl's school basketball team in
7:06 pm
vermont. they had to forfeit a playoff game because the opposing team had a biological male on the roster. today we learned that the team for just defaulting on that one game is now banned from playing in future tournaments. wow! drew barrymore types would call them all bigots. when they're really just acting in accordance with their faith and yes,er that truth. >> let me ask you about the negativity. how have you dealt with it and what is an approach that you take? what is your self-talk? what the do you filter? >> laura: is this where feminism in 2023 has arrived? for women to be socially accepted today, they need to prostrate themselves to men who identify as women? but this of course isn't the first time the left has signals
7:07 pm
sub survencie of left wing ideology. >> those who wish can kneel for a moment of silence. >> laura: it was bad enough when it was to black lives matter a corrupt organization. now women are supposed to give up all of the gains they made in business, in sports and cheer for biological men taking their spots? the message isn't just that you have to be okay with biological boys and men taking your opportunities. you must be willing to share bathrooms and locker rooms with them as well. >> mr. president, this is my 221st day of publicly transitioning. >> god love you. >> you think states should have a right to ban gender affirming healthcare? >> i don't think any state or anybody should have the right to do that. as a morale question and a legal
7:08 pm
question, you should have every right, including use of your gender identity bathrooms in the public. >> laura: yeah, that's the leader of the free world. it gets worse. what about those that stepped up to respond to the growing outrage? >> what is going on in florida is as my mother would say close to sinful. it's terrible what they're doing. what are they thinking about here? >> laura: can you imagine how this looks on the international scene? america is being battered by inflation, banking stresses that he caused. it's bogged down in a proxy war in ukraine that he started. i mean, in response, obviously, this is what biden chooses to focus on? >> i was a senior in high school. my dad was dropping me off. i remember about to get out of the car and looked to my right and two well-dressed men in suits kissed each other.
7:09 pm
i turned and look at my dad. he said it's simple, they love each other. it's simple. i'm not joking. >> laura: yeah, wilmington delaware, 1961, that story happened. just like he was asy i have rights activist that was repeatedly arrested or an award winning student that earned three degrees or he's at home among puerto ricans and the puerto rican culture. that was all made up, too. by the way, for decades after this epiphany, biden opposed gay marriage saying it should be between a man and a woman. now, this anti-woman woke obsession hasn't just compelled biden to make stuff up, it's compelled medical schools to do the same. indiana university school of medicine is now forcing all students to read lessons that insist that cervical cancer screening is not just for women but biological men as well.
7:10 pm
well, it's that way in order to avoid offending certain patients. you notice that they're never worried about offending woman that is anti-science and anti-woman? they're not worried about that at all. so 60 years after the advent of the modern woman's rights movement, this has effectively made women irrelevant. a spot that a young woman could get in college positions, positions in corporate america, the military, sports and government can now all be taken by men. women, you need to affirmatively celebrate this, complain and again, be ostracized. i have a message to all women watching out there. you who reject the promoters of this new trans patriarchy, never forget. you're the courageous one. you were uniquely created by god with biological gifts that a man
7:11 pm
will never and can never have. that's the angle. joining us now, mollie hemmingway from the federalist, fox news contributor and ned ryun. molly, more than any other visual than i have seen recently, that image of drew barrymore kneeling on the ground to a tik tok trans influencer really does take the cake. >> it's so sad to see this women's movement that went from talking about equal opportunity for women or what women could achieve is now teaching this idea that men can be anything they want to, including women and they can do it bitter than women can. i cannot think of a better metaphor than this image of drew barrymore on her knees to this dude in lady face. it's just -- it's embarrassing to see as a woman.
7:12 pm
>> laura: ned, this was well-thought out. she has everybody talking about her show that not a lot of people talk about. i've always been a fan of hers. but molly captures it well. it's truly a moment for the them firsts to say all right, girls, celebrate a biological man taking your slots for all of these different positions. >> sean: absolutely. the trans of transgenderism signals the collapse, complete failure of the post modern feminism movement. they fought for title 9. now to watch biological males compete in women's sports, win female beauty contests, have dylan advising women on how to be a woman. the amazing part is that some of these feminists are either completely silent on it or embracing the complete farce of a biological male masquerading
7:13 pm
as a woman. the amazing part is not only are they total traitors to their movement but complete hypocrites as they bend the knee to the patriarchy. it leaves you wondering what was the feminist movement to begin with. it's also commentary on our culture and society that we're celebrating this mental instability. what does that say about us that we're celebrating people that are cutting off body parts, injecting themselves with all kinds of drugs and hormones to destroy who god made them to be. you have people clapping and bar cuss like circus seals in approval. we're in a real estate and problem here in this country when we're celebrating mental instability when we should be encouraging these people to seek mental and psychological help. >> laura: and welcome to the white house for their courage. watch this. >> do you have any messages to
7:14 pm
the families of trans folks that are seeking, you know, options for their children but are struggling to find resources? >> yeah, i do. this is blood of your blood, bone of your bone. it's a matter of us acknowledging that there's nothing to be -- just because it's different, there's nothing to be fearful about. >> laura: molly, again, the dylan mulvaney was saying it's my chosen family that supports you. the message there being kids, time to push away mom and dad and the old notions of the nuclear family for this new, new, new normal that is much more welcoming accepting and modern. it's attractive to a lot of people. >> it's a social contagion right now that this is happening. one of the people pictured there is someone clearly going through mental duress, claiming that he's a female. the other is the sitting president of the united states
7:15 pm
supporting cutting off healthy body parts of children, supporting the permanent sterilization of children. it's not just immoral for our country but affects our international standing. it's very difficult to say we have the moral high ground when we have the sitting president of the united states supporting this instead of doing things to help protect children and their families from this dangerous radical gender ideology. >> laura: if this is exporting american values, this is what we're exporting? really? >> it's hard to make the argument that what we're exporting american exceptionalism. this is where you end up, laura, when you say there's no absolutes, that you can't say something is right or wrong. when you can't say no, you end up in an absurd position as a country a you think somehow magically men can be women and
7:16 pm
women can be men. it does show where we have come as a society and culture and it's not a good place. >> laura: molly, ned, thanks so much. for years republicans in congress have been seeking something called suspicious activity reports regarding the biden family foreign business dealings. the administration and democrats in congress and most importantly the treasury department have been blocking them. that's until now. early today in an announcement that got very little attention, house oversight committee chair james comer revealed that they received the first one. as jonathan turley reports, it shows money going from china to three biden family members including one not previously discussed as a recipient of such money. joining me now is ari fleischer, former white house press secretary and fox news contributor. ari, i think the white house for the last two years have been blowing this off or three years, blowing this off saying this is a right wing conspiracy theory, leave our family alone.
7:17 pm
does it get harder to do this with this new report out? >> well, of course it gets harder. now we have facts to talk about. there's always been suspicion. it's well-grounded. suspicion based on documents, texts, evidence that came out in a laptop that belonged to the president's son. now these financial records make it official. so people at home now, because the record was created doesn't mean anything criminal happened. most of these things are legal. but we deserve to know if there's a foreign source of money that is funding president biden's lifestyle. enabling him to afford a beach house, enabling him to pay the expense at his mansion in wilmington. he was a senator for all of his life. where did his money come from? the year after he leaves the vice presidency, he's a wealthy man. it's a suspicious activity and now we see facts and the patterns and the trends. >> laura: jill biden has insisted that this isn't a big
7:18 pm
issue at all. watch this. >> your son, hunter, has really been a target for republicans over the years. likely will be in the years to come. how does your family deal with that intense focus on hunter? >> we deal with it by just i guess have a different perspective. i love hunter and i'll support him. >> has the wave of investigations into him, does that factor in to the think into 2024? >> no. >> laura: ari, do the bidens have anything to worry about given our press corps will not cover this? >> and the press continue cover it. i don't care how big the smoking gun, if there is one, comes out. that would mean the press have to acknowledge that for years they basically sat on this story ant didn't think it could be there. so the press won't. mainstream press won't. many of the other press will, conservative press will, fox
7:19 pm
news will. it will get out in the ecosystem. i want to make one thing clear, this is not about the president's son. this is not about his family. it's only about joe biden. any republican that uses the name of the president's son i submit to you is making an error because it's not about family. did joe biden receive money filtered through his family to pay for his lifestyle from china. as soon as he left the vice president's office, did he start to benefit from the deals that his family did abroad and personally benefitted the president? he won't answer any questions about it. so he's the only person of interest that i have in this matter. i could care less if his son or his brother made money. unless that money filtered through joe biden. that's what we need to know. >> laura: or if it's one big pot that they all kind of share together and they mutually benefit from that pot of money wherever it is spent.
7:20 pm
these are points well-taken. >> thank you, laura. >> laura: we'll pick that up next time. you've seen the video of stanford law students acting like children. you know why they were angry? we have new information to share tonight and plus how red states are dismantling dei piece by piece. dan patrick shares the new effort out of texas next. ace benefits... and retirement savings. with voya, considering all your financial choices together... can help you be better prepared for unexpected events. voya. well planned. well invested. well protected. let's do it. woah. shh, mommy's sleeping.

>> laura: red states are going to war against the diversity equity and inclusion scam and they're winning. in florida, a new house bill would eliminate diversity, equity inclusion offices in colleging but some schools are not waiting for the government to step in. trustees at the new college of florida voted to axe the school's office of outreach and inclusive excellence. that move included canning a woman named yolady hernandez. "the washington post" swooped in with a sympathetic ear. they asked her, what would you say has been the most painful
7:26 pm
part of this experience? the post writes, zeer responded in part professionally i'm in mourning because i see that the dei is being attacked. i'm the first casualty in many ways. personally i'm also in mourning that i just used the word ze. r for the first time on "the ingraham angle." lieutenant dan patrick made it his priority for blocking dei states in hiring. joining me now is lieutenant gorden patrick. i get the sense and i travel a lot that there's building momentum behind what i call the anti-excellence or anti-merit campaign across the united states. tell us about the reaction you've gotten so far in texas. >> so there's three things really going on in higher ed. it's dei, diversity, equity and
7:27 pm
inclusion, there's tenure that we're pushing to get rid of in texas and there's teaching critical race theory. and laura, the momentum is there. the people of america are fed up. the parents that are paying 20, 30, 40,000 a year for their students to go to college are fed up. students instead of being educated and innovative are being indoctrinated. what dei does for the people that may not know if they don't have kids in college or not following the stories, basically the universities are demanding you to take an oath or sign a pledge, talk about when you apply for a job, what were your relationships with people of color? what do you think about this? you have to answer these questions and take a pledge just to take a job. i wouldn't want a person of color having to write down an essay their experiences with pitt people in their lives, this is equity, which bernie sanders knows in a famous interview didn't know, equality we all
7:28 pm
support. we want equal opportunity in america for everyone. that's what we stand for. equity says we want the same outcome for everyone and take merit off of the table. that will destroy america. >> laura: on cnn, there was this discussion today, dan, about how recent polling supposedly found that 38% of republicans think the country's increasing diversity is threatening america culture. so this guy, ron brownstein, had this observation. >> the dividing lines is not so much about economics but about how the country is changing. it's the fault line in the politics and the energy in the republican party are those that express resistance from that for what is happening. >> laura: dan, the response here is that people who are against dei are essentially racist,
7:29 pm
insular. >> it's the opposite. when i speak to people of black and brown, they don't like the crt or the dei either. they want their children and they did in their lives. they want things through merit, not the color of their skin. that they get this opportunity. we want everyone again to have an equal opportunity but we cannot get away from merit. the best should be able to get into our colleges, the best should be able to be hired. laura, a part of this started very quickly at the university of texas here up the street behind me. they came out early and said they were teaching critical race theory in college. we banned it in k-12 last session. i said in a tweet, we banned it in k-12, we'll ban it in higher ed. they said look, we're not accountable to the legislature or the board of regions.
7:30 pm
i said then we have to get rid of tenure. how dare these liberal professors think that they run the education system? >> laura: of course, they do. >> paid by the taxpayers. so now we've attacked denier, dei and crt. we're not going to put up with it in texas. it's divisive and we know that we're based on merit. >> laura: we have to go, dan, but it's also unconstitutional. okay? let's put it out there. >> absolutely. >> laura: thanks, lieutenant governor. >> your opinions from the bench land as a disenfranchisement of their rights. your work has caused harm. i know that must be uncomfortable to hear. >> laura: by now you probably have seen that video of the stanford dean of diversity,
7:31 pm
tirien steinbach. what you probably did not know is that the litigant was twice convicted for receiving child pornography. so a pedophile who these lawful snowflakes went to mat for is what we're talking about. but they weren't done. yesterday they targeted the dean of the law school, jenny martinez, who merely apologized to the judge for the abysmal disgusting treatment at stanford university. the protesters in black and had face masks that round counter speech is free speech. stared silently as martinez exited the law cross. the students protesters comprised nearly a third of the
7:32 pm
entire law school. joining me now, victor davis hanson, senior fellow from the hoover institute affiliated with sta stanford. victor, this is one of the saddest and most infuriating things coming out of higher education in awhile. stanford is not really a top school anymore. >> it's in freefall. we expect these students, we've seen it before to be rude, to be vulgar and almost pornographic if you look at the placards when they attacked a federal judge there were four administrators there. three did nothing. one appropriated the podium and attacked the speaker. tried to stifle his first amendment rights. these are guardians of the law supposedly. when the law deemed a cautious apology without any mention of them being punished, 100 of them lined the corridors to intimidate the law dean. you have to superimpose this.
7:33 pm
this law school, we have the bankman fried parents that were morally involved with sam bankman fried, one who bailed him out, we had another law professor during the johnny depp trial that tweeted out that fantasized about killing johnny depp and having his body i think rot and be eaten by rats. we had another law professor from stanford at the impeachment trial, the hearings of donald trump attacked out of nowhere. a 13-year-old and said he's no bar ron. two years ago, they attacked the federal society. a student wrote a fake letter that was circulated suggesting that the federal society was going to conduct an armed insurrection. when you superimpose this on the university where the president now is under fire by the student
7:34 pm
newspaper alleging that he was unethical calling for his resignation, you remember the euphemism list of all the taboo words stanfordites were not supposed to use like american, migrant. a snitch clause that said if you heard anybody using them, you could anonymously rat them out. we burnt the elizabeth homes and the theranos meltdowns. this was a great university. i was a graduate there. u.c. berkeley was responsible for the 20th century california miracle. they trained our professions, trained our engineers. it's just tragic to see it implode. it's committing slow motion suicide. they let these vehicle, radical people that are terrified of them and they do have the courage to say no mas. >> laura: if that's -- victor, if that is courage and that is the best of the best in the united states, then the united states of america is in big
7:35 pm
trouble. okay? i'll take georgia state, georgia tech, the university of alabama. any of the southern sec schools over stanford university tonight. okay? after what we saw. victor, thank you. biden hits the west coast not to re-assure consumers after the silicon valley bank failure but to come for your guns. congressman thomassy has the details and he's next. ally, it will remind you. when it does, aspen dental is here for you. we offer the custom dental treatments you need, all under one roof, right nearby. so we can bring more life to your smile... and more smile to your life... affordably. new patients without insurance can get a free complete exam and x-rays, and 20 percent off treatment plans. schedule your appointment today. bring you this she■s a hero moment. new york city. you have to have the skill and the drive to make it here.

7:40 pm
>> laura: just two days after his bail-out of svb, of course joe biden traveled to the state where it all emanated from. but instead of addressing the failure of silicon valley bank or re-assuring americans that their deposits will be safe, biden was in california for different reasons. >> first, this executive order helps keeps firearms out of dangerous hands. my executive order directs my attorney general to take every
7:41 pm
lawful action possible to move us as close as we can to universal background checks without new legislation. >> laura: this isn't just the doj. this gives a lot of power to other federal agencies as well. pete buttigieg and the department of transportation will have more resources to track gun shipments. it's called the federal trade commission to analyze how gun manufacturers market their products. then this was most alarming with a little more detail added. it calls on the department of defense to promote gun safety through the acquisition of firearms itself. joining me now to react, kentucky congressman tom massey. i'm kind of surprised that nobody seems to be paying attention to this executive order today. what do we need to know? >> look where he chose to announce it where gun control laws have failed.
7:42 pm
they have a higher mass public shooting per capita and the strictest gun laws. in fact, he went to los angeles gun county. fewer than one in 5,000 have a conceal permit in los angeles county. so he went to a virtual gun-free zone to announce these programs. one of the things that he said he's going to do is to somehow achieve what he calls june very sat background checks. what he calls universal background checks wouldn't have stopped a mass public shooting in this century. he simultaneously is trying to shut down all of the ffls. the ffls are the places that you go to buy a gun and go through the background check. his policies are at odds with their self. >> laura: well, it seems like he's just throwing up stuff against the wall, right? heading towards 2024.
7:43 pm
they have given up on raising anybody's standard of living. correct, congressman? inflation is not going anywhere. they know it, we know it. run to california, make a run on the guns with the executive order and hope to get some political traction? that seems like a loser strategy. >> maybe he went to hollywood because two of his policies are based in science fiction. one of this is ballistic database. new york and maryland tried this program. they spent tens of millions and after 15 years never solved a single crime. that is part of it. the other is he says he's going after the undetectable firearms. show me a firearm that doesn't have a metal barrel or doesn't use a brass casing. they don't exist. if they do, the person that is shooting it will blow themselves up. two of these policies are science fiction. maybe that's why he went to
7:44 pm
hollywood. >> laura: we have a phantom recovery and he's after phantom guns. great to see you, congressman. a lawsuit over boneless chicken wings and a man sues a women who won't date him? jimmy failla tries his hand at legal analysis. oh, boy. stay there. but then i found c. [ forde ] replacing marcia's teeth with dental implants at clearchoice was going to afford her that permanent solution. [ marcia ] clearchoice dental implants gave me the ability to take on the world. i feel so much better, and i think that that is the key.

>> laura: all right. some wild out of control lawsuits have caught our eyes tonight. here now "the ingraham angle" want to be legal eagle, jimmy failla. jimmy, first of all, when i think of legal eagle, i think of you. so the first lawsuit that we're going to talk about has a apparently -- i didn't know this was a problem for years. >> we've been casually ignoring a problem that is so out of control. i'm talking about boneless check wings. i propose that we remove the name boneless from our menu and from our hearts. i propose we rename boneless wings in the city of lincoln. we can call them buffalo-style chicken fingers. >> laura: a class action lawsuit filed against buffalo wild wings. they said the chain is
7:50 pm
advertising in false advertising. what are your thoughts, jimmy? >> i'm going out on a limb and say i don't think this guy is boning anything. okay? that is the type of lawsuit that wherever if you're the winner, you're a loser. this guy is a semantic nig nightmare. the whole point is to go to buffalo wild wings is to drink so much beer that they they have no idea what they served you. that's why they have 97 dipping sauces and the menu is so big. this is the dumbest lawsuit ever. good on the judge for throwing it out. >> laura: let's go to another false advertising issue that involves our favorite subject. food. watch. >> you have a chance to win a
7:51 pm
