million fentanyl pills found in the border town of tijuana known to be used by cartels as a manufacturing ground for counterfeit tablets. also this week a texas grandmother and 7-year-old granddaughter were killed in a car crash that involved human smugglers. >> dana: terror watch listen counters are on track to outpace last year's record as democrats continue to turn a blind eye to the crisis. >> bill: all 15 democratic members of the house homeland security committee boycotting that field hearing at the border. democratic senator mark kelly questioning the wisdom of that move. >> what would you say to democrats who didn't go to that hearing? >> i think it is always beneficial to go and visit a place and do it with your republican colleagues. you will get a better result. get more relevant questions from both sides. it affects the entire country. this has an impact on all 50 states. >> dana: president biden now reenacting some of his

surveillance on the platform. grady trimble is tracking that fox business live on the hill to bring us the latest. >> the f.b.i. and d.o.j. are reportedly looking into why tiktok's parent company in china bytedance spied on u.s. journalists and other americans. forbes is reporting the d.o.j. has subpoenaed information from bytedance regarding efforts by its employees to efforts u.s. journalist location information or other private user data using the tiktok app. is separate for concerning report finds tiktok is tracking you even if you deleted the app from your phone or you never had it on your phone in the first place. the report by cybersecurity firm reviewed by abc news says tiktok places trackers oh than a host of websites you visit. the data it collects is used for advertising. other tech giants like meta and google use similar trackers but the added concern with tiktok is

identifying hali biden as the third member of the family getting money. biden family values with the money sign on the s. constitutional law attorney this is james turley. >> we'll subpoena more bank records and do everything in our ability to follow every bank. there was a lot of money that transferred from china to the bidens and what we want to know is what did china get in return? i don't think china would spend this much money on this many different members of the biden family if they weren't getting a return on their investment. >> dana: jonathan turley, is that a fair assessment? >> i think it is fair. many of us have called for an investigation into this for years. but it has really hit this wall with the democratically

controlled houses, the democrats have opposed any congressional investigation of influence peddling. influence peddling is the favorite form of corruption in washington, d.c. it is a virtual cottage industry. the biden family is really in a class on its own. they took this to an extent that even those of us who criticized influence peddling decades have never seen anything like what appears to be the case with the bidens. we are talking about millions of dollars coming from foreign interests including some with foreign intelligence connections. the media largely shut this down. it is still doing its best not to cover this. you have the media collectively holding its breath trying to hope that this somehow passes away. but it won't. the objections from the white house that you are picking on the widow of the president's deceased son is really not going

to succeed. it actually highlights the question of why she would be on a sars. why she would be listed in these international transactions. so we have to find out the extent to which the biden family benefited from these foreign sources of capital. >> bill: the argument from the other side is you are trying to prove the services were rendered. i don't know if that has been proven just yet. i don't know really where it goes. i'll let you answer that. this is a raskin statement. chairman comer's memo proved that after four years of investigations by senate and house republicans in the hunter biden they have found no connection to the president of the united states or any government official at all as of today that statement would appear to be true. where do you think that goes? >> well, that's part and parcel what we've seen before. first of all, the republicans haven't controlled these

committees and have not controlled their oversight authority including subpoenas. second, the president has lied repeatedly. i don't think there is any way to avoid that conclusion. he said he had no knowledge of these business interactions and these dealings with hunter. we have photos of the president with his associates. we have the president on tape in one of these files referring to these business controversies with his son. so that appears to be a repeated and frank lion going falsehood by the president. the other thing that is simply baffling is the democrats keep coming back and saying it is not a crime. influence peddling is not a crime. well, okay, but it is corrupt, right? at least we can all agree influence peddling is a form of corruption. and even if it's not a crime, that means it is even more important for congress to fully investigate whether the first family was involved in selling

without a prescription. 11% were laced with heroin. 82% had methamphetamine. this week congressmen wrote the secretary of state requesting a travel advisory for mexico and as an immediate step state department needs to warn americans traveling to mexico the danger they face when purchasing pills from mexican pharmacies. they say the lower cost of the medication draws american tourists to mexico. experts warn the problem goes well beyond painkillers. >> just 15 minutes from yuma, arizona are blood thiners with no active ingredient. chalk pills printed with epping rish labels. specifically targeted to american tourists going down there looking for cheap medication and fake blood thiners, if you need a blood thinner they're deadly. >> there was a broader alert for

let's bring in lawrence jones host of cross-country. you were surprised they knew fentanyl was a big risk seth >> i was really surprised. i've been coming to spring break for five years with them and they are unaware about drugs in general and how it impacts their body. to see the comparison from last year when none of them knew about fentanyl you can tell it is a major crisis if the spring breakers now are aware of the drug. now is it going to affect the way they deal with it? i hope so. i'm not sure. it is a major hot bed for people to be targeted here at spring break trips. >> bill: lawrence, you told us, at least our producers, that some of those young americans chose florida over mexico. had they ever done that before? obviously based on what you heard just there the news

reports scared them off. >> it did scare them off. i was a spring breaker at one time not too far away from these young people and we would go and have a good time. a lot of them feel like it is too dangerous when you have americans coming up missing or dead. a lot of them chose the next best thing which is going to the beach here in florida. they feel it is safer. i don't know, look, i this i the police have done a great job trying to keep this contained. last night we went out with our crew to just get the vibe of the spring break. at night especially on a thursday, friday and saturday is when all hell breaks loose out on the town. you have these kids that think they are being cool and start brandishing a weapon. you have to watch the show to figure out what happens next after they brandish a weapon. they throw out money. they think it is a time where no laws exist. unfortunately it will affect them for the rest of their lives. law enforcement is not playing

with them. >> dana: law enforcement have their hands full in all these major cities but when you have a surge of tourists and people who want to have a lot of fun or brandishing weapons. that doesn't sound fun. if you look at fentanyl deaths in the united states and the numbers from the last several years in 2020 there were 55,000, 2022, 73,000. there will be more than that. we just reported that on the border this week alone our border patrol seized 2 million fentanyl pills. that's what we seized. who knows how much got through? do you hear from law enforcement they are concerned what could happen in miami? >> yeah, we did a short ride along yesterday in miami as well. there are so many different municipalities here they have to work together to try to come up with a plan to disrupt what is happening. fentanyl is the number one killer for ages 18 to 45. what law enforcement told me

>> dana: a dangerous storm system pummeling north texas unleashed a flurry of hail and possible tornadoes. fox weather's brandi campbell is safe and sound but reporting from irving, texas. >> temperatures dropouts to the 40s this morning and currently under a wind advisory. the circumstances folks cleaning up this morning will have to work in. if you look in front of me you can see the rooftop of these town homes collapse in front of them. now one of the residents who lived here actually brought us inside of his town home to show us what it looked like. his bedroom exposed to the outdoor elements along with a lot of water inside. he has water damage that seeped down to the first floor causing some flooding. we spoke with him and he shared

what it was like in those moments when everything happened. >> i went outside and i watched the sky and i thought oh man, i saw the tornado and i run to my shelter. and a lot of noises and i see the roof blow and everything. i'm scared and i said oh man, what will i do? i went to my shelter in the restroom. >> we're waiting on some confirmation from the national weather service on if there was a tornado or if this is straight line wind damage. there was additional damage throughout this area. we went to a dealership where part of the roof in the front of the building collapsed. so the workers there were left to clean up that even a customer's car sitting in front had some damage as well. outside of that we know there were some reports of downed
