have no idea. >> ashley: you work the academy with the new recruits, would be police officers. did you see a decline in the type of officer that wanted to be with the police department? tell us what you saw. >> we see it all the time and the training staff, we were being told also so we had to lower the standards. if you look across the border, anybody from the range staff to fire a weapon or told to change their times. we were changing the standards and push up like we are not getting a lot of women so let's change the push up standard to get more women involved. not that not having women is a good thing but consistently the standard was being lowered. the academy when i got hired in 2013, we were running five academies a year with 50 plus applicants. now, they are lucky to run three a year with filth that academy with 20 applicants. the applicants that they are

getting are absolutely atrocious. >> ashley: the fact they are lowering the standard for physical fitness, mental fitness, that is not good for police officers. how long did you see this decline for? >> at least over the last five years. you have to remember, these are the same department that fired myself and many others for being unvaxxed. they lost 40-80 officers over five plus years. right now the department has 90% of them are two to three years on. it is a very junior for a spear they lost a good amount of us that were veteran cops ftos training others in the department. they lost that for some ridiculous mandates. you see people like ronan backtracking because the politicians, they all wear masks. they forget what mess they were wearing two to three years ago and they change their tune. >> ashley: i started talking to the nerves she has that there are no officers that can respond to the neighborhood when she was

one, backing to defund them. so, my question, when you saw this come out and you saw undocumented people who were police officers and you got fired because you didn't want to get a vexing, how did that make you feel? >> i mean, it is just honestly, i smile at this point. it is the irony of the pd. they were people wanted by the fbi and they still hire this person and it wasn't like later in the background backed out after this person in the academy was routed out by another department. and then they actually finally kick this person out. there is countless stories like this. >> ashley: and went by the fbi, somebody that was a police officer in the academy? >> there was somebody -- i can't remember exactly, but someone want to buy the fbi or was on

the fbi terrorism hitless and that person still made it through background, made it to the academy until later that person was removed. there are stories like this, countless stories like this. >> ashley: how dangerous not only for you guys? these would potentially be your partners on the street but really for the community when they don't have adequate background checks and you don't know who these people are. talk how dangerous that is for you guys and the community. >> it is very dangerous because as a police officer, you put your life and hands in the hands of another person. there has to be a lot of trust and integrity. one of the biggest key components when hiring or going through the academy is trust and integrity. again, i can think of a story right now where a training officer actually caught some recruit and a light and says, this guy needs to go, but up the paperwork. well, we are hurting for numbers and so when it comes to integrity, you don't catch the

scent the academy, guess what? you will see that manifest on the street and scandal on the news that this police officer didn't do this and i don't want to save the good ones but the people that have higher standards and morals are not surprised. we are shaking your head saying, we could have told you that. but you are letting this behavior continue. so, it is terrible. i wouldn't want to be a san francisco resident right now. it is a terrible time. >> ashley: really quickly before let you go, if the rules change, would you go back?
