friends as you heard, russia claims that china and russia should have close relations. you heard putin say they will entertain the peace proposal, we don't know what it is. what do you think will come out of the meeting? >> president xi, he's on a roll, he was elected for the third unprecedented six-year term, now brokered a deal between saudi arabia and iran for peace, an area that we are generally always had in our back yard. and yet he's taken over. so he comes in with putin and i think he's going to come in and push peace, the first thing on their agenda. three options. first option is do nothing, not an option, kind of a throw away. the second is reinforce heavy with everything that russia needs, and i think the third is go for some type of peace deal with putin and with zelenskyy as well. and maybe he'll look at zelenskyy and say i'm going to give you this aid, help you

rebuild ukraine and do it. and what happens if he can't broken a deal, he becomes the most consequential leader in the world bar none, and puts him in front of everybody. so at least he's trying to do something, and showing his leadership out there and i think he can influence putin. putin to me, russia is a junior partner, they are not the senior partner. clearly the chinese are. i don't care if it's economic, humanitarian, military, but xi is doing this and i think a chance he may do it because zelenskyy has been asking him repeatedly, call me, come and see me, let's try to do something. >> john: people who know putin are rejecting the idea of a ceasefire, saying it will only play to what putin needs to do. what john kirby told mike emmanuel. >> if coming out of the meeting a call for a ceasefire, that's just going to be unacceptable. all it's going to do is ratify russia's conquests to date. give mr. putin more time to

donald trump says he expected to be arrested tomorrow. a source telling fox news several branches of law enforcement are meeting today but also officials have not yet discussed specific timing for a potential indictment. if prosecutors do file charges, the former president would be the first u.s. president in history to ever be indicted. bryan is here for us, if the indictment comes down, what would happen next? >> good afternoon. the former president's attorney says trump will surrender if he's indicted and will follow "normal procedures." look, we are in unchartered territory. one possibility is trump's attorneys negotiate the time and day he surrenders to the manhattan district attorney's office, fingerprinted, photographed for the mug shot and receive a dna cheek swab for the database. and then handcuffed, perp walked down a hallway in front of the media before entering a public manhattan criminal courtroom. arraigned on the charges, enter

shooter runs off. the city quickly arrested the suspect. the shooting does not appear to be random. but targeted. last night people were jumping on cars as the partying got rowdy. police cleared out at curfew, no one was allowed outside from midnight to 6:00 in the morning. pedestrian art deco tour had to stop on the sidewalk and wait so firefighters could hose the blood away into the street. for the third straight year, a curfew for south beach. police on bikes stopped a group of people openly smoking pot and drinking liquor at 4:00 in the afternoon, both illegal. last year a couple of shootings led to a midnight curfew, and before that, similar violence led to 8:00 p.m. curfew. people are checking out early and going back home and even cancelling upcoming reservations
