they minimized it. and then that emboldened her perpetrators and made it so that eventually it kept escalating and escalating and she knew at that point when it was escalating when they didn't deal with the small things they weren't going to deal with the big things. she felt helpless and this went on for months before finally her parents were able to figure out what was going on. >> steve: yeah. part of your filing cites how several ms-13 gang members who were teenagers at the time had been establishing a prostitution clientele within the hispanic community and construction workers until their eventual indictments for human and sex trafficking. does that describe what your client went through? >> she was the victim of rapes within the school district, within other school. the truth is this is such a traumatic time for her. she knows what happened to her. we don't know all the details

is right now my client as a victim is moving forward with a pseudonym. she is b.r. within the filing. the court also gave the people who are the perpetrators, the people who turned the blind eye, pseudonyms in this case. these are individuals who are more than likely still teaching at fairfax county schools. they are still administrators. and parents, they have no idea that these people who already didn't listen to students when they were hurting could be doing the same thing again. one of the -- part of the awareness that we want to raise here is that parents should be looking for these same signs in their kids. we don't know how long this has been going on. >> and we want to make sure that it doesn't happen to another student. >> steve: they are sensational allegations. it will be great to get to the bottom of it.
