tonight. according to the "new york post," we just learned this moments ago that hale's writings could be released but only after the fbi analyzes and we assume scrubs content. in message hale said she left behind evidence and one day this will make more sense. lbgtq groups are lobbying to keep this under wraps. media outlets are dub s -- subdued about the killer's motives. we have no idea what was in hale's mind. but if this is a case of anti-christian hate we should know all about it.

no matter what her writings contain, they should be aired publicly and in full. we don't want a sanitized version. let's state the obvious. if word leaked that somewhere in the manifesto she praised trump or included references against illegal immigrants or minorities or if the shooter was an nra member who attended the first baptist church, reporters will raise holy hell for authorities to release all information. not here. the democrats and their friends in the press are worried the more we find out about this disturbed young woman the morwe could see how the killer was shaped by this atmosphere we created. unstable people are susceptible to poison idealogy. some of the less radical fringe groups are anti-christian.

look at how they attacked churches and pro-life centers. menacing videos are posted on line. and merrick garland refused to address a possible hate crimes angle in this nashville shooting. >> do you plan on opening a hate crime investigation for the targeting of christians? >> the fbi and atf are on the scene working with the local police. as of now motive hasn't been identified. >> laura: this is about politics. democrats have invested a lot in the storyline that white american christians are the most dangerous people on the face of the planet. remember, that group, they are the real enemies. >> you have young people who

call themselves america first. that's a way to say we are white nationalists. >> christian nationalists believe the united states was established as a white christian nation. any threat must be stamped out even with violence. >> you are talking about people who believe in a religious theocracy. >> laura: the same type of people who are the good people are those who embrace gender fluiditty and evolving identity. this shooting may turn that dynamic on the head. the democrats advance gun control -- >> why do we allows weapons in our streets and in our schools? i call on congress to pass this ban. >> laura: he knows it has a zero

chance of getting passed but doesn't claire. -- care. with a 32% approval rating on the economy biden doesn't want to talk facts. he hides them or lies about them. >> maga are refusing to pay america's bill. >> laura: the biden economy. that's not worth responding to. 2023 style liberalism is failing miserably on the federal, state and local levels. take the inconvenient facts out of our nation's capitol. d.c. residents have the highest income in the united states. a super majority of democrats throughout the city government. they run things. what have they delivered?

homeless tents popped up all over the city. drugged out zombies and office buildings half empty and crime is a huge problem. >> homicide increased 75%. robberies increased 46% and last year alone the juvenile homicide rate doubled. >> laura: the chief said they are down 500 officers. council members in d.c. all democrats say this crime thing is overblown. >> with regard to crime, perception is important. the reality is less concerning. how people feel is important but there is not a crime crisis in washington, d.c. >> laura: hiding the facts again. no doubt about it, criminals

know they have the upper hand here. >> keep violent people in jail. the average homicide suspect has been arrested 11 times prior to them committing a homicide. >> laura: what is responsible for this? guns? d.c. has some of the toughest gun laws in america. no. you can thank black lives matter and anyone who whipped up the anti-law enforcement frenzy that led to the hiring and retention problems coast to coast. and thank corporate america for high crime. they wrote fact checks to corrupt activists who brought luxury homes. hiding the truth about how soft on crime destroys public safety, democrats shift back to their old stand bys. >> talk about what happened on january 6th. well over 1,000 folks that have been arrested. that was here. i am sure that's affecting the numbers for crime in d.c.

looking at that overall number. >> laura: democrats believe that old ladies walking through the halls of congress taking self-is are a bigger threat than murderers. americans deserve the straight facts. not hidden agendas. all of the challenges we face -- crime, the economy, our schools, china, our mental health crisis -- if we are going to make any progress on these issues, we need leaders who are not afraid to tell the truth no matter who it offends. that's the "angle." joining me now is a congressman chairman of the house oversight committee. the d.c. district attorney said it's not his fault that criminals are back on the street. it's an issue with their forensic processing. it's not up to snuff in d.c. i thought i was having

a nightmare when i heard that. >> talk about passing the buck. prosecutors in the blue cities are not doing their job. soft on crime. passionate about criminal justice reform. they want to give criminal more rights than law-abiding citizens. we have a terrible group of prosecutors in this city. >> laura: they are saying help us become a state and all will be well. maryland is run by democrats. illness is run by jb. they can't even run this city let alone have it be a state. >> there is no way they could be self-sustainable as a state. they want to be a state to be able to have two more democrat senators. that's all about politics.

it has nothing to do with public safety or sustainability. it's about politics and trying to tip the scale of power in the house of representatives and the u.s. senate. i believe the leaders in washington, d.c. waits have done a great injustice to the people. --oo >> laura: they want two reliable democrat senators? >> that's right. the city votes 85% democrat. what we saw in new york state during the mid-terms elections the democrats voters turned their back on the democrat party because of crime. >> laura: we mentioned this in the "angle." for the attorney general not to jump on what is obvious to me growing anti-christian bias in

the united states and criminal activity geared towards christians. we had targeted of pro-life centers across the country. churches have been attacked. the rhetoric towards christians. if you are a bible believing christian you are a terrorist. >> garland is concerned about his legacy and the attacks on the trump and the republicans. the way he turned his christians on law abiding citizens will never be forgotten. it damaged the department of justice. >> laura: the grand jury in new york adjourned for a month the

one investigating donald trump. this is a sham. >> it was a political stunt from day one. you can't have a local attorney prosecuting a president for something that occurred 5 years. the doj passed on this case. congressman jordan and i asked for mr. bragg to come to washington and explain this to us. >> laura: they are trying to drag this out. congressman, thank you. this city deserves better. after the roe v. wade decision leaked last may protestors descended on the homes of conservative justices. despite laws no one was arrested. yesterday during merrick garland's testimony an alabama

senator unveiled what she was givens by the whistleblower. >> those training materials so that the marshalls likely didn't make any arrests for a simple reason. they were discouraged from doing so. as you can see on this slide behind me. the marshals were told to avoid unless absolutely necessary any criminal enforcement action involving the protestors. discouraged the marshalls from making arrests by asserting there may be a first amendment right to harass the family of the judges and concluding that any rest of protestors are a last resort to prevent physical harm of the justices. >> laura: joining me is the president of jcn and ari fleischer. just a few weeks after his

guidance went out to not arrest anyone. a man with a gun showed up a block from justice kavanaugh's house. this is beyond -- again, i am at a lack for words. this is shocking. >> yes, that's one of the most chilling things. attorney general garland mentioned this earlier. they arrested him because he turned himself in. what if he didn't turn himself in? they were not arresting anyone. what would it have taken? it's really frightening that the marshall's hands are tied and garland is scapegoat them to get out from under the scrutiny falls on him. >> laura: garland claimed he didn't know anything about u.s. marshal training material for prot

protecting supreme court justices. >> their job is to protect the lives and property of the members of the court. that doesn't mean that they are precluded from bringing other kinds of arrest. >> laura: he is well spoken. having a hard time getting through that answer. do you buy this? >> no, i don't buy any of this. merrick garland also said that t t themarshalls had the full authority to arrest anyone. they were handcuffed by the department of justice. there is a law on the books that prohibits people from protesting at the homes of federal judges to influence a ruling. that is a common sense law. it should be enforced.

otherwise we will have mob violence to influence court rulings. when that happens the solution should have been right from the start to arrest the protestors at the homes. if you don't like a ruling protest at the supreme court. don't bring it to the homes of any federal official. they should have been arrested. it's not a speech issue. it's an intimidation issue. we know why. the department of justice put its finger on the scale. >> laura: you got it. when people are whipped up into this frenzy, falsely to believe that x, y or z is our mortal enemy. if the court does this you will have no rights. every christian believes you are not a person. people are driven to do horrible things. thank goodness no one was hurt at the supreme court justice's

homes. but it's playing out in other places. the investigations only go one way. an uneven justice applied by this attorney general. >> absolutely. they are talking about we are so worried about the first amendment. i didn't see that when they arre arrested someone in front of his 7 children or when parents were treated as domestic terrorists for speaking up about the schools. this is very selective. they treat certain groups with kid gloves. >> laura: ari fleischer, do you find it slightly odd to say the least that there is not a clamoring among the press corp to release this manifesto by this killer given what we know.

targeting a group of christian people who were just wonderful people. >> i am not surpriseed in the least. the press they don't want to know. -- if it was a conservative that went into a pro-choice group and shot up a pro-choice place, they would not to be the manifesto and call for it to be released. this could be a hate crime against christians and they don't want to see it released. >> laura: the entire thing needs to be released. why is the left making excuses for the nashville shooter? what does this have to do with their larger attempts at intimidating christians across the country. i will explain it in moments.

>> laura: six beautiful lives lost, family and friends in mourning. but trans-activists are trying to elbow the true victims out of the why and claiming the killer

herself is a victim. >> trans-people are more likely to experience violence because they are trans-people. the right focussing on that is uniquely dangerous. we have to respond to that. >> trans-joy jerve -- serves to be celebrated and not eradicated. >> laura: her trans-daughter violently assaulted a boston police officer earlier this year. no one is trying to eradicate people. but no matter. victim hood sells. >> here in the halls of congress. elected officials are using their power to undermine the freedoms and human dignity of

trans-miracle and waging a vicious crusade on our kids. >> laura: if hale believed she was transgender that language leads them to violence. is this about christian schools? joining me from the american majority is ceo ned. >> i don't think it's just christian schools. it's christians at large. part of this because our collective faith is truth exists and god reins over us all. for transgender, the idea of

a god is the mortal enemy of what they are doing. they are raging against the created order. in doing this, they are trying to get us to submit to their twisted world view. saying biological men can have babies. when we say that's insane, they rage against us. for the greater left it's if you don't comply or accept our twisted world view of transgenders or butchering babies or global climate hoax, you will be forced into silence. this has always been the way throughout history with their movements. they can't tolerate anybody who has an absolute by which to judge them. they silence them by all means

there is infinnite truth they can't change. that frustrates them -- it enrages them to the point that anybody that says no you can't manipulate truth, they have to silence them because it highlights how arbitrary their beliefs are. >> laura: if you call a boy who is a boy and says he is a girl, you are a victim yourself because you have become the hater. if you say the truth you are a hater. this is crazy town! ned, great to see you. if they can't take away your kids schools, they want to make it easier for the state to take your kids, period. yesterday california democrats advanced a bill that would let insurance as young as 12 check into group homes without parental consent. the sponsors say the bill is for

lbgtq youth who suffer from rejection from parents or harhasment in school. this mother called this what it really it. >> this bill permits a counsellor to decide if a child 12 or older can be placeed in a facility away from his parents without any indication the child is in danger. this is state sanctioned kidnapping. >> laura: amen. joining us now is that woman. this doesn't surprise me at all -- it's the logical follow on to the argument that the left is making. that traditional society is repressive. if you don't accept gender

affirming care the state can take your child away from you. they think this is where this needs to go. >> you are correct. what is happening in california is parents are losing their rights. as soon as the child turns 12. the state can now dictate anything with the child including mental health, medical health. you see this time and time again. the democrats trampling on parental rights. i say that as a democrat for 37 years. i don't know what my matter is doing except destroying families. >> laura: the sponsor of this bill explained why it's needed. >> young people are experiencing a new reality. we deserve a life with pride and

dignity. in latino communities we are shifting the community around mental health to acknowledge the traumas of our families. there is a big difference between surviving and living. >> laura: your response to that? >> in california children age 12 and older have the ability to access mental health without parental consent. so you would think that mental healthed be great and suicide would be down. but the opposite occurred -- over that 12 years suicide rates increased. self-harm. depression. anxiety. the children in california with worse mental health outcomes right now. why are they not repealing this bill and putting parents back in

their right place as parents. controlling their children. being their provider and supporter and being in the know. >> laura: the government is not your parent. that woman's comment should shake everyone across the country. when she said your family is traumatic. if you lived in a different time, then you are repressive. you are a threat to your child. that's what she is saying. your children are growing up in a different reality. yeah, a worse reality. because they are so confused and depressed and messed up. california has to be rescued. thank you for what you are doing. you are shining a light on this. thank you. later in the show we will speak a doctor about why it's

uvalde shooter. a high-profile case. we can't speed this up. think about all of these acts of evil. we still weeks later don't have a toxicology report from the uvalde mass shooter. 10 months after that shooting, we asked again tonight and still nothing. we have seen online that sometimes these could takes months. we asked a famed forensic pathologist what is going on here. he told the "angle" in situations like this, the tox-screen could take 2 to 3 days. if an autopsy is done the next day, we should have a full report in just a week. the months long estimate is due to a massive backlog but that's in situations in regsituations.

-- regular situations. but in uvalde and nashville are moved to the front of the line. last night we were told why the release of hale's manifesto is important and the toxicology report. we asked authorities if they would commit to a public release. we have not heard back. we will continue to search for answers. to talk more about this is a doctor from john's hopkins. why does this matter? >> people are upset. there is never one cause. there are multiple factors. parents have a right to know whether or not the tox screen shows the person was under the influence of a substance like cocaine or seven different psyche medicine. people have a right to know

right now and researchers need to study the trends. 23% of mass shooters are on some psyche meds. >> laura: we not that anti-depressant medications have been linked to violent and aggressive behavior. it's on the warnings. we put them on our show a while ago. that didn't mean everyone on that medication will be violent. but with other drugs this could be a toxic mess. >> there may be something there. when doctors prescribe this, it should be limited. a lot of these medications are given out willy-nilly. you can get a diagnosis in 15 minutes and go on a couple medications. we don't have long-term data on drugs that just came out. >> laura: are you anxious today.

take this. it's like candy. the national police chief addressed the shooter's mental health. watch this. >> she was under a doctor's care for an emotional disorder. law enforcement knew nothing about the treatment but her parents felt she should not own weapons. >> laura: i have done a lot of reporting over the years i have never heard a mental disorder described as an emotional disorder. >> there is more there than we are being told. >> laura: mental health is a massive problem? >> we have to look at causes and not just play whack a mole with heads. >> laura: and confusing messages
