[cheers and applause] >> trace: good evening, welcome to america's late news, "fox news @ night," i'm trace gallagher in los angeles. and breaking tonight, a heart rending vigil in nashville as the community and the country more and three children and three adults killed in the shooting and a christian elementary school. in the meantime we still do not know the motive of the transgender shooter and why the killer's manifesto has not yet been released. chief correspondent jonathan hud live with new images and information. >> good evening to you, trace, it was as you imagine a somber

9:03 pm
covering the tragedy, let's bring in seattle talk radio host jason. i want to put this up and this is charlie kurt and he makes a fair point. we have a serious problem with authorities linking a scotus ruling, president's tax returns and ossified congressional briefings when unwilling to share a homicidal maniac's to reveal her motive for killing kids. since 2013, they are six of these types of shootings that had manifesto's and they were all released. if this was a conservative manifesto, every news agency in the country would be suing to get it released. your thoughts? >> 100%, but let's be clear, and would have already been released, they would not have to go through a lawsuit. now there is the potential that there is a reasonable reason for this you might not release and somebody else was possibly involved, but that seems extremely unlikely and we would've heard that by now.
9:04 pm
one thing i think about is the reason why they may not want to release it is it will tell us what some of us have been speculating that this is in fact tied to a transgender activist ideology we have this weekend coming up, and perhaps it could inspire some violence or some additional protests and rallies as a result of that. that's the only thing i could think of because it does not match the past patterns of releasing manifestoes, and we are told that the fbi's top mines are looking at this. once they go over it and get a better sense of what's in it, then they will release it. >> trace: why would it take this long and how long is the manifesto? "the daily beast" wrote the following here, national shooting fuels the rights engines of anti-trans hate going on to say that trans americans find ourselves reeling from unprovoked and unjustifiable attacks on television, social media, across conservative news media if we
9:05 pm
pull the triggers that killed -- as if we pull the triggers that killed six people in tennessee. suddenly it's not about three adults and 39-year-olds being killed, it's about transgender people having a target on their backs. how do we pivot to that? >> because christians aren't considered a marginalized community by folks on the left who will always side with they think comes a marginalized community, even when they are the bad people and all of this. even when they are the villains. it seems to me that one thing we could also do -- i understand why folks on the left or anyone would say, hey, we don't want to allow a shooter to define an entire community, a shooter shouldn't define an entire community. i've said that when involved someone who happens to be conservative or happens to have an identity that the left doesn't want to protect. but we also have a group of people who seem to have been targeted on the basis of their religion and that is worthy of
9:06 pm
at least some sort of compassion from some of the folks? but instead they are trying to turn this into a political issue right? you go after the rights, they say they are anti-trans, but at the same time that kind of rhetoric that folks on the rise are going after transgender people could have fueled this exact shooting. you're fed the steady diet of nonsense of how the country is turning into nazi america, you are causing the fear. >> trace: that's a fair assessment. the controversial trans radical activist network is pushing forward as jason was mentioning with plans to march in washington, d.c., this weekend in a protest that was rebranded before the tragedy from a trans day of his ability to a trans day of vengeance. some social media users have
9:07 pm
taken the protest to another level posting poses with powerful firearms along with the hashtag 5,000 of which twitter has now since taken down from that platform. what if we told you that computers using artificial intelligence can now identify weapons, even hidden weapons inside a school in real time? if the threat is genuine, teachers and administrators can be notified within seconds. more to be on what appears to be life-saving technology, here is mark. >> as head of security, jason stoddard's you still watching hundreds of security cameras throughout charles county maryland public schools. but thanks to new artificial intelligence technology, a computer is watching in real time looking to see if someone is carrying a weapon on school grounds. >> the and artificial intelligence has the eye ability to identify a weapon to see how a
