state secrets about a military industrial complex agency. he was doing it at the behest of the united states. we have a statement from "the wall street journal." they say in part, "the wall street journal preeminently denies the allegations from the fsb and seeks the immediate release of our trusted and dedicated reporter, evan. we stand in solidarity with his family." and a lot of tensions between russia and the united states concerning the war in ukraine. this is just one more sign of that. if he is, in fact, fact, convicted of espionage charges and that is what they are putting against him, he could face 20 years in prison and according to reports, the first

time an american reporter has been arrested on espionage charges in russia since the cold war. i don't know him personally, but he is well-regarded at the newspaper. in fact, i did read the latest story early this week and it was a pretty strong blistering story how the russian economy is now finally taking some real hits from their invasion in ukraine and the sanctions that are being put on russia by the world. so, that is reading that the kremlin folks, including perhaps president putin would not like to see in a leading global newspaper like "the wall street journal." so, concerns about his condition. no word when the arrest happened. just a call from "the wall street journal" to please, for the sake of the reporter and for his family, get him released. they are denying everything.

deaths reported after two u.s. army helicopters crashed overnight in kentucky. >> brian: the apparent collision in a training mission west fort campbell. >> ainsley: the correspondent stevie cotton live for us, steve e. >> good morning the beautiful sunrise is a stark contrast to the hearts people are waking up with this morning here in kentucky as we learn more about the military helicopters which crashed near fort campbell. details are coming in but at this point, we have learned this crash has sadly claimed the lives of some members of the 101st airborne division. as i mentioned, there is still a lot to learn but 10:00 p.m. last night, kentucky tennessee border, two helicopters crashed. they are make confirming on social media there are several casualties adding the focus is on the families. we still don't know how many service members died but the army did say the crash occurred

looking at a poll they don't like, okay? but it is very early. it is very early. and i wouldn't sell -- i wouldn't sell my wedding ring and bet on the fact that the field is set on either side, republican or democrat. president biden's numbers among democrats about 55% of the people think -- they are not quite sure he is up to the job of being president or finishing his sentence for that matter. he could draw a position. i think gavin newsom would like to run. governor newsom, he's got pretty hair. 44% said they want to keep joe biden. >> those are not numbers for president biden. having said that, he is not going to announce that he will not run for reelection. he may run for reelection and for all i know he sure is acting like it. i would expect him to act like it. he doesn't want to become a lame duck any sooner than he has to. >> steve: you are absolutely right but the problem, senator, part of the fox news poll, 90% of those respondents say they are extremely or very concerned about inflation and higher prices. that is followed by crime at almost 90% as well. here is the thing, every time -- every day that the white house is not talking about inflation is a good day for them because it impacts everybody. >> well, most americans aren't really rich and they are not really poor.

they were in the middle. but they are unhappy. i don't blame them. they look around and see too many people at the top getting bailouts. too many undeserving people at the bottom getting handouts. and they are getting the bill. they are very worried about as they should be about their job in the economy. the president keeps telling them, "look, the economy is just fine," but it has not gone unnoticed amongst most americans. they have to sell blood to go to the grocery store. the 401(k)s are crashing and they are worried about their kids. they are worried some schools they are teaching the kids all white people are racist and all black people are oppressed and all women are victims. most american victims look at people individually and they are just not happy with the direction that america is going. and they are not sure if their future will be better than they
