impeachment. well, i am glad that we are doing investigations of mayorkas but he met with the border caucus a few months ago. we talked to him and we were very frank with him. we are like you are not doing your job. when you say the border that it is secure when it obviously is not secure, is just false. and he just kept saying what a great job he was doing great just like he did in the hearing the other day where he said he had the utmost integrity. i mean, i not only signed all that he should resign that i also signed legislation that he should be impeached if the evidence leads to that. i think the evidence is already there but the guy is totally incompetent. he is lying to congress. he is lying to the american people. shannon: i want to look at the real numbers or was a significant drop in encounters as a near began to take a quick look for the reported numbers, the numbers in december were record-breaking and then you see

in 2020 fiscal year 2020 they were 405,000 illegal immigrants apprehended at the border. fiscal year 2022, just two years later but under biden now, there were two-point to million illegal immigrants apprehended. yes, they never went down in january. but it was still the highest that it has been. and so is still over 150,000 illegal immigrants that have been apprehended. and then yes, 30,000 people they are letting illegally cross the border now through this new program they have. so then you have the amounts that are apprehended at the border. the known got a ways plus this 30,000 people a month from certain countries that are now not even counted in the mix. so it is a huge crisis. it is a disaster.

now? looks well, what you are seeing this what we always see in times of trouble and tragedy. here in arkansas there's a massive mobilization of volunteers all over the state to help. so what you have is you have over on the delta the eastern part of the state you have with the rural part of the state a lot of agriculture, a lot of cotton. it was hit very, very hard. and of the governor is there today the fema administrator. i was with the fema administrator in little rock this morning. little rock is. >> dab in the center of the state. we are in urban area and there was a massive massive path of a tornado that went through little

rock. and we are fortunate. we are fortunate in the loss of life is horrible. but we are fortunate it was not many, many, many more. because there are indeed complete neighborhoods devastated. and, as i said the fema administrator was there this morning. we are certainly appreciative of the support from fema and the federal government. and governor sanders has just been outstanding working to help and make sure -- emphasizing that ultimately we are going to put people over paperwork is what she has been saying it. i think that captures the spirit we are just going to help people whatever they need. i go to neighborhoods of a 20 -- 25 people in a yard and only two or three people live in the home. but churches, our churches are doing just a fabulous job. reaching out, moving stuff, cleaning up.

helping, very, very important. obviously if you are in arkansas and can physically help that is a good way. nationally, look. i will tell you my churches in west little rock immanuel baptist. the southern baptist convention's disaster relief, i was told is second only i think to the red cross in terms of their reach. you can give to southern baptist convention relief and note that it is for this. also, samaritans purse. associate billy graham, franklin graham they're here on the ground. you can get there. in the red cross and then note it is for this for that money is critically important. and so there are many ways that people can help. and i will just tell you, i am going tomorrow i've been all over it little rock because they limit little rock and it hit neighborhood right near my home.

people open fire in the parking lot. rosina coleman is live in los angeles following this for us, christina. >> hi molly. it was a terrifying scene. police say this is a drug-related shooting in broad daylight. involving possible gang members. one man was killed and three others were critically injured by the shooting happened in the affluent community of west hills around 345 yesterday afternoon. in the parking lot of a trader joe's store but there's a lot of shoppers in that area. target, walmart, home depot stores are located in that very same retail complex. the deceased victim was identified by police as a 45-year-old man the three injured victims ranged in age from 35 to 45 years old but shoppers say they were shocked by the violent chaos. exit was like repeated shots. first without a car was backfiring. but then it was over and then we realized it was gunshots regrets i just come out of the theater i was in my car.
