a dozen states are bracing for a new powerful storm developing this week. >> ainsley: it comes days after another massive system that spawned 76 reported tornadoes left dozens of people dead. >> brian: fox weather correspondent max gorden joins us live from arkansas with the latest. max? >> the heartland is bracing for yet another round of severe weather. not what folks here in wynn, arkansas need. you can see the destruction right behind me after an ef 3 tornado tore through a small town of 8,000 people killing four this after/rolled. three pethousands of flights hae canceled or delayed because of the severe weather. little rock, arkansas got hit with ef 3 on friday with 165 mile-per-hour winds in a path of destruction that went on for

nearly 30 miles that twister killed one person and injured at least 50 people in arkansas' capital city damaging up to 2600 buildings. >> it's just like a bomb or something. as i was inside, i could hear the trees breaking. hitting the sides of the walls. it felt like the building was going to fall apart. >> but recovery efforts have been underway. here in arkansas, work crews have cleared streets, residents are boarding up their damaged homes and energy of arkansas says they have gotten the lights back on to 50,000 customers since the tornadoes and severe storms hit. president biden approving a major disaster declaration for the state on sunday, unlocking additional federal aid. now, looking ahead, what we're going to see on tuesday could be similar to the severe storms on friday. more hail, the possibility of tornadoes and damaging straight line winds. not what communities like wynne need right now. guys back to you all right, guy, thank you very much.

live report. let's find out what the day ahead look like adam is on the street of new york city chilly here. >> cold here on fox square and cold across really most of the northeast. also cold in the western united states and that's really where this whole entire system is going to sweep the country is going to begin. here's what it looks like on national satellite and radar. there is snow currently falling across the pacific northwest. that is stretching into the plains. we are going to be seeing big winter like weather. the storm system we are talking about is going to have two sides to it. north side wintery winter weather alerts and blizzard warnings across portions of the dakotas stretching in towards bismarck and most of south dakota under that blizzard warning. and then in front of that line, that is where we are going to see a severe thunderstorm threat. this is for tuesday. look at the bulls eye there. significant threat of severe storms in northern illinois stretching over wards iowa. parts of missouri. very similar set-up guys to the set-up we saw on friday that

>> ainsley: what do we need to be teaching our children you are a mom. how do you do this? do you do an allowance. >> we actually do commission, ainsley, well,where if you work you get paid. if you don't work you don't get paid and really teaching my kids money comes from work. once they earn money i teach them to give, save and spend. three little jars we use for them -- for of the two oldest at least. it's engraining early on in every day life of what this looks like to handle money well. again, it can be a hard topic. a lot of parents feel like if they aren't great with money who are they teach your kids about it. trust me, parents it, your responsibility. get from and talk to your kids about this. >> ainsley: what age do you start this. >> is that right as early as 3, 4, 5 years old. start to teach them here is what a chore looks like. grant it, it's age approach the. doing things alongside them. the older they get whether they get into high school. student checking account. get them to understand how to use a debit card and reconcile bank account.
