moron ls by trump's decisions when he was in office. difficult and onerous. i guess dedisastrous and despecifical are not words you use over there. >> how pathetic of cnn to try to actually defend the president here and his administration as far as what happened on that day or during that whole departure in august of 20 done. the buck does not stop with this president, apparently, trace. we can down the blame trump ways over the past 27 months. biden blamed trump for high inflation, said it was at this level when he took office in 2021. the fact that is inflation was at 1.4%, currently four times higher than it is now under this administration. joe biden claimed that republicans want to blame or want to defund the police. that is 31 flavors of stupid and deserves no further commentary.
9:08 pm
biden blamed the border crisis on trump and says that he actually inherited this crisis. if that is comedy, we ain't laughing. of course now biden blames from the for the botched and deadly of a afghanistan withdrawal that left 13 service members doved the united states because according to this administration, they were powerless to renegotiate the deal, the deal that trump put together as if, you know, biden didn't already undo all the things that trump did during his first 100 days as far as his executive orders are concerned, trace. >> yeah. the wall street journal says the following quoting mr. biden's approval rating sank into the red after the catastrophe and his decisions drove the horrible images they saw on the news. we saw it on the news. we saw in almost real-time, joe.

9:13 pm
thank you live with more on story that is now getting a lot of attention. jonathan, fifty nine good evening you, trace. it's import tonight note off the top here that police have not yet said whether this was a targeted killing or yet another random act of violence in a city that seems to be in the grip of a violent crime crisis. either way, the murder of bob lee has shocked, saddened, and frightened many san francisco residents happening as it did in what has up until now been considered one of the safer parts of the city. lee was stabbed around 2:30 a.m. tuesday. we have seen stills from security camera footage which we cannot air at this point that appear to show lee staggering toward an upscale apartment building, clutching his side, one of his hands seemingly covered in blood. he called 911en and police arrived within minutes. the san francisco police department is not releasing that 911 call but reporters at the san francisco standard say they have heard it and during the call lee screams help, someone

9:15 pm
you know you tech exec bob lee walking in san francisco and then getting stabbed and not being able to get help. these are third world stories we're hearing, congressman. your thoughts on this. >> you're insulting the third world. in most places in the third world they, if they catch someone, try them, and convict them, they go away to prison for a long time. in san francisco, even if they find a violent criminals for the most part they're out without bail, they're committing crimes, and when they finally get convicted they have a very short sentence. that part of the problem in california, broadly. but san francisco really has made an art out of not punishing at any level crimes and now they're paying a price for it. >> yeah, and people are afraid. i want to put this on the screen because this is the number of californians who are afraid of becoming a strict f of crime. you see the top two lines concerned and very concerned you've got 65%.
9:16 pm
65% of californians believe they could be the victim of a crime. that is a crisis sir. >> it is a crisis. one of the challenges is what they call the broken window syndrome. we haven't been punning any, absolutely any small crimes under a thousand dollars, even people who walk in and just take things and walk out are not punished or even arrested. over time, it builds a society, if you will, of people who see more and more opportunities. you add to that the fentanyl crisis and the need for drugs and you get what we have today which is a crime level that just keeps going. one thing, trace, in california, that you have to understand is they'll quote low figures sometimes except for actual fatalities, they usually understate the amount of crimes because they simply don't arrest. >> it's amazing because you look at the progressive mayor up there, right, london breed, and she's now calling for federal help to try and fight this crime thing.
9:17 pm
if you look t what happened in chicago where the crime was so bad they got rid of their progressive mayor laurie lightfoot and elected a more progressive mayor in brandon johnson. the washington examiner said the fact that chicagoens have elected not reformer but a deformer suggested inner city residents still don't get it or they're all on the payroll of the city governments going bankrupt. eure cities known saved if the voters and these metropolises don't want to be saved. have they just mastered the narrative, liberals? they're so good at this these people are automatically put back in office? >> you know, california had a net loss of 300,000 citizens last year, the first time in history that we took a loss, and it's continuing. people like bob lee and others that are leaving now they won't even come back to visit after this. the fact is california is losing the tech advantage it had. what i grew up with in this industry, the reason i brought

surprised? can we blame them. considering we blame them for everything, let's rephrase that. should we blame them? for the past three years there had been a national movement to question police authority. we accused them of being immoral, corrupt, racist. they arrest the criminals and the criminals are back on the street before police can finish the paperwork. when police kill someone it's national news. when someone kills a police officer it's local news. police officers die in the line of duty more than any profession in the country all for an average salary of $54,000. low pay. no respect. part of the job. and yet as evidenced by this national crime crisis we desperately need them. common sense says that traditionally police officers hated two things. change and the way things are. but now we realize the way things are has got to change. well first up in tonight's real news roundup as part of his red state tour california governor

>> we are back with the night cap crew, jonathan hunt, jackie ipanez, kevin cork, and who did i miss? that's it only 4 of us tonight. tonight's topic about disney's live action remake of the little mermaid which rewrites songs like kiss the girl to teach consent. with disney rewriting these songs i'm not sure if ariel would still want to be part of our world.
9:53 pm
do you think some of these song lyrics in the little mermaid are somewhat offensive? i was saying last night that my girls would watch this every night. i mean, every night. and my oldest would sing this part of your, you know, the whole thing. it was the thing to do and i don't think anybody was offended. do you think anybody's parents did you see the crab singing about kiss the girl? there has got to be consent. ariel can't speak so she can't give consent. it's just this whole idea of didn't we go through this with baby it's cold outside? >> absolutely. yn think you nailed it earlier in the week when you compared we can listen to cardi b, we eve sane the lyrics and yet they're changing the lyrics to this. by the way let's be honest about who you're targeting here. you're telling parents you don't know how to teach your children how to behave. i don't understand that the rationale bebehind the at all. >> here it is, i wanted jackie ipanez take on this. yes, you want her is the lyrics
9:54 pm
look at her you know you do possible she wants you to, it don't take a word not a single word go on and kiss the girl. offensive, jackie? is it kind of silly or what? >> everybody just needs to take a big deep breath. >> thank you. >> this is crazy talk. my question is so they're going to change the lyrics, are they changing the movie? are they remaking it? what is the point of all of this, and really good point about cardi b, i've oftentimes thought that when i watch these mtv movie awards, how can they even air that? it's so awful and that's offensive? >> listen, if a country singer went up there and started singing a cardi b song in a concert they would walk him up and off that stage in a hurry. i mean, the whole concept here, jonathan, is that with your kids, with your brewed of kids, you must have been through this before. >> all i would say is that i am utterly offended by every single song in the little mermaid because they're all so gosh darn
9:55 pm
awful. rewrite the whole darn thing. we remake movies all along just to give a controversial opinion. they can do whatever they want. i don't care. >> twitter and instagram both said nope and brandy smith says i watch disney movies now and i can see why some people think it's offensive but when we were kids did we really care? we did not. thank you all for watching america's late news fox news at night, we'll see you tomorrow night. quick, the quicker pick her up, her one cheetah bounty, bounteous, all and bounty is two times more absorbent so you can use less bounty the quicker picker upper going big with small brands means our members get awesome deals, awesome gear from small brands at a great price. this box will open all month. >> nail fungus is nasty up.
