sudden going after this guy, what can you tell us? >> the da like a lot of the das around the country in big blue cities seem to let criminals go free and go after this innocent. in this for some reason because of the preplanned trip governor abbott, i totally support him, i will pardon him as well. this is the story from the lead detective, considered the best detective in the city of austin. he says he had 158 slide presentation in his affidavit and the da made him remove all the exculpatory slides from the presentation taking 98100 slides out of his presentation. he says the evidence he believed would present to the grand jury would possibly have led to them not indicting him and he goes on to say this is stunning for a

quickly in a second or two and you don't sit there and make a decision, is he going to shoot me or not? in the moment you could already be dead so if anyone points any rifle, any gun at you, through your car window, you have a right to self-defense and that's what most of us believe was correct. what happened is it's one thing to have law and order breakdown in our streets but law and order break down the justice system, he should never have been charged with murder, the detective said was evidence that would probably not have had him indicted, the detective argued over this but when you have the justice system breakdown at the da level and court level, when a country -- on the justice -- that's the beginning of the end of the country. >> that's the real issue, something has to be done. i will follow lieutenant governor, thank you for coming for this breaking news.

now to san francisco city in chaos, we've talked about it week after week about the crisis there, homelessness as well as crime out of control and this week the murder of a cash app founder bob lee brought the issue back into the headlines but is this disturbing video of the suspect that got my attention shiny a harsh light on a once magnificent city. peter correspondent has the details on these cases. >> good evening, san francisco is the city on edge after two high-profile attacks and parts of san francisco, considered relatively safe and six days later, still no arrests, no suspect or motive identified in the brutal murder of bob lee. the prominent tech executive was stabbed twice in the chest tuesday morning blocks from the waterfront, an area with luxury high-rises, a hub with upscale

markets and kat face but at night the area is virtually empty and heartbreaking surveillance footage obtained by the daily mail shows him bleeding and stumbling along the sidewalk trying to flag down a doorman or driver for help. he managed to use his cell phone to call 911 but he lost too much blood. six minutes after the call police found him unconscious on the sidewalk and he later died at the hospital. thursday lee's friends launched the petition to seek justice for bob lee and make san francisco safe again. the petition called on city leaders to take stronger action against violent offenders and improve public safety. less than 24 hours after he was attacked, former fire department commissioner was brutally beaten with a metal pipe outside his mother's home in the marina district, another nice neighborhood. don suffered a fractured school him a broken jaw in multiple cuts to his face after being ambushed by several people, one of whom you see here was

fox news alert out of northeast houston, county sheriff dave gonzales says of these four people have been shot. at least two are teenagers, the shooting happened during a celebration of life. we are told all four victims have been taken to the hospital, no other details have been released. this comes as we await word for three people were shot in the state's largest shopping mall. officials evacuated the mall after reports of shots fired at the food court. three victims are being treated at the hospital, their conditions are still unknown. now this political fallout continuing around indictment of former president donald trump, ex-president pleaded not guilty to 34 felony criminal charges falsifying since records in manhattan tuesday. more questions have been raised since the indictment was unsealed and charges became public due to the fact that

have a vacancy insurance which we never heard about so if they say squatters were not here, considered tenants, the house was vacant 60 days. however, we couldn't get in the house because we were told we didn't have a right to walk and so we couldn't sell it nor get a regular and in so we have a feeling and we will let you know the insurance company will first deny. >> to understand, i told but with real estate agent sean. >> unless you call your insurance company and ask them to state a policy that because of vacant property, oftentimes when somebody comes in and they are there, it's quarter in this instance, the insurance company could say no we are not going to cover it because you don't have vacant property insurance. >> no criminal charges found in their case but they are working

with state lawmakers to reduce squatters rights. while they worked to restore their own home to the original state but the message to americans? take extra precautions. >> never leave the house vacant so we should have gotten someone to stay here and live here so it was never vacant. we should not have put a for sale sign in front of the house, we should not have had it advertised for sale except for the listing service so others were aware it's for sale. don't hang a lockbox in front of your house, have a security system and check on it every single day. >> how do you even sell a house if he can put up for sale sign? the homeowners tell us the running total for repairs is $20000. so far it's still unclear how much if any insurance company might cover. while squatters claim they dealt with a leasing agency to get their so-called lease, there's no record of the existing. the lease wasn't even signed.

protest, these are riots. violence is happening. i think the has to be one standard of justice, people can oppose riley which i don't understand the same person could but they have the right to do that but to chase her down, there has to be consequences for this. >> trans people are entitled to their rights. these female athletes are entitled to theirs and they should be allowed to speak, everyone should be allowed to speak. if we can't have rational civil debate in america and particularly the university setting, we are lost and if i were the administrator there i would demand all these people who engage in the violence should be expelled and i would have another form where i have a pro and con, kylie gaines and someone to oppose her, let them have a conversation and of the debate on the stage without this violence and listened to the ideas conveyed.
