eric: arthel, there's still reaction this morning ott biden administrations' review of its troubled withdrawal from afghanistan, that nearly two years ago. stun is thing revelations are pouring out on the internet, we're old. what is being called a severe intelligence brief involving classified documents leaked on social media about u.s. policy and mans concerning usain, china and the middle east. alexandria hoff live with more on the north lawn of the white house. alexandria, stunning stuff on social media. >> reporter: yeah. and kind of last minute for the biden administration to have on the concerned with these documents as well. when it comes to this 12-page assessment, this came from the white house, so this was not an independent review of the afghanistan withdrawal. and much of it, it plays -- placed the blame on former president trump and his plans to get out of the country. democrats are mostly backing that that up. >> he was the commander in chief then, but let's be really clear, that policy did begin under previous administration. >> make no mistake about it, the
9:34 am
biden administration had very bad options. the decision to withdraw from afghanistan was made by the trump administering. the reduction of troops to 2500 where president biden started his term in office, the president had little options left. >> reporter: republicans have taken major issue with the report, and the white house's john kirby denying that the august '21 withdrawal was chaotic despite 13 u.s. service members losing their lives. >> this report is a political whitewash by the biden administration to shift blame. the report says that our mission had been accomplished, that that's why biden got out of afghanistan. he's claiming that we eradicated all terrorist threats in afghanistan. >> reporter: senator graham argues the threat of terrorism is still very present, but there's another threat as you mentioned, esche, additional scent u.s. military documents have been found leaked on social media not only including intelligence related to usain, but classified information relating to israel and china as

central florida that shocks the senses. teenagers accused of being cold-blooded killers including a 12-year-old. now there are brand new details emerging about what led up to the shooting deaths of the three teens. court documents reveal that on the night of the murders, the three victims were involved in illegal activities with their suspected killers. police say including burglaries. cops have so far arrested two male isn'ts, one 17 -- suspects, one 17, the other 12 years old. the hunt for a third now continuing. former d.c. homicide detective, fox news contributor ted williams joins us now. just when you think you've seen it all, now a 12-year-old accused murderer in a triple slaying. what is going on in the culture of these teenagers, some of them, in our country? >> you know, eric, that is the $64,000 question. what is going on in the minds of some of these teenagers? when you find a 12-year-old
9:39 am
child who says that he was involved with two other juveniles, one of the juveniles was supposed to put the gun in the hands of the 12 the-year-old child -- 12-year-old child and told him that if he can't pull the trigger to shoot and kill one of the three victims, that they were going to harm the 12 the-year-old child's family. as a result of that, this 12-year-old child has confessed to pulling the trigger and killing one of the three individuals that were found along the highway here outside of ocala, florida. at this stage there is a manhunt, as you have already said, for the third suspect in this case. two of the individuals who are in custody have admitted to to the their involvement in the crimes. earl. eric: that 12-year-old, ted, you're at the ocala sheriff's
9:40 am
office. apparently, he says that he apparently shot one of the victims and said that his family would be shot to death unless he did that? >> right. sheriff billy woods, the sheriff of the marion county sheriff's county, in an emotional announcement of the arrest of these two juveniles brought out some of that information about what the juvenile, what the pressures the juvenile felt that he was under. but the other who -- two after they shot one of the victims, thaw dumped her body. then they dumped the body of the second individual, and then they submerged a car into a river. and in the trunk of that car, they had shot and killed the third victim. and they say the reason they
9:41 am
killed the third person is because they felt that she may very well have snitched on hem -- can on them. this is a a terrible situation, eric, because all three -- all six, perhaps, of these individuals were themselves involved in criminal activity, burglaries and robberies here in ocala, florida, area. that's the sad commentary about it. young people, juveniles. eric: you know, ed the, what is the cause, the root causes of some of this, or can you point to that? is it family? parents, lack of ethical religious background, faith, schools? where are the failures in society that have a 12 the-year-old and other teens allegedly involved in this? >> eric, it's all of the above. and the sad commentary is you wonder about a parent who is not in control of a 12-year-old child. you've got also a 16-year-old
9:42 am
and a 17-year-old involved. and when you look and you do some investigation into this as i have, eric, you find that at least two of those individuals had criminal records. so you have to the say that society has failed these young people. and as a result of that, they're out there robbing, stealing and killing. and, again, without being recountry cant, the sad part about -- redundant, the sad part about it is that the three victims were also, from what we've been told, involved in robberies, in burglaries with the killers. something is going wrong in our society, ask is we need to find a way to correct it, eric. eric: you know finally, quickly, society has failed them. it's a potential choice. personal choice. they allegedly engaged in this -- they bear responsibility too. >> oh, absolutely. you cannot take the
9:43 am
responsibility off of them. these are individuals who knew the difference between right and wrong. and so now you have a 16-year-old on the run, eric. eric: ted williams at the to call la sheriff's office in ocala, florida, just a horrendous situation and, you're right, a sad comment air on parts of this community and what's going on. ted the, thank you. arthel? arthel: tiger woods not teeing off in augusta today. coming up, why former champ is bowing out of the masters tournament. plus, a new report claims president biden's push for green energy could actually empower china. that's straight ahead on "fox news live."
9:44 am
as long as you can make an impact, why stop?
9:45 am
9:46 am
9:47 am
arthel: now to a new report about president biden's green energy policy. the institute for energy resources says the president's push for americans to stop using fossil fuels and gas-powered cars is making the u.s. more dependent on china. and that the endangers our national security. joining us now is republican congressman john duarte from california. he serves on the house to transportation natural resources and agricultural committees. so, congressman, why are electric cars a threat to the u.s. economy and national security? >> good morning, arthel. happy easter. we can coso much better -- do so
9:48 am
much better. if we want electric cars, we can cothem, but we need to be mining the minerals here in america. there are so many problems with what we're currently doing. we're offshoring our critical mineral reliance over to africa, and china's kind of this imperialistic problems city for us engaging in slave labor, child labor in the african mines with no worker safety standards. no one's producing a fair trade electric car today, i can tell you that. and until we we pate rate these critical concern repatriate these critical industry mines and drill american energy and do everything we're doing under build back better, we're not going to do that. we have these critical minerals here in america. they're not rare earth minerals as they're oftentimes characterized. they're abundant minerals that we are choosing not to produce here in america, and we're using proxy imperialism over in africa through china and letting them make a pretty handy buck on us
9:49 am
doing it instead. so we can pursue these goals, but we've got to pursue them more smartly, and h.r. 1 that was just passed in the house does that. arthel: smartly and safely, that would be the counterargument to minding for more minerals here in our country. >> we can do them smartly and safely. whether we're drilling american oil, producing american natural gas, manufacturing here in america or mining here in america, we're going to do it to the highest environmental standards. we're going to do it to the highest work standards, and we're going to create that economy, that opportunity, that affordability right here in america for american work working families. and that's going to the help us in so many ways. we just talked about these teenage kids murdering each other. let's create the opportunity here in america with america industries and unleash america's opportunity for our kids and not leave them kind of hanging out there -- arthel: meanwhile, if i --
9:50 am
>> sure. arthel: i understand what you're saying. that's a whole other argument and well-made point, but i don't have time for that right now, so i'm going to stick to this, and i wanted to mention this. if electric grids have become the focus of, thus vulnerable to attacks, is there an argument for solar-powered grids to provide protection from attacks, domestic or foreign? >> well, the grid goes down, it doesn't really matter what kind of electrons are going through it. we need reliable power for our grids for a lot of reasons. we can use small scale nuclear technology that's on the shelf today to develop a nuclear, to develop and distribute electrical systems around the u.s. to where we're not moving energy all across the continent as much as we are now of. we can create redun the dancy in the scalability we need, and we can turn the switch on a lot of the nuclear plants we have already as well as have wind and solar. but wind and solar are not going to give us the grid security and
9:51 am
the grid stability that we really need to build america's future manufacturing base on. we need reliable, scalable energy, and that is nuclear. it's also natural gas, it's also coal where we have coal plants on line, we should not be taking them offline in hopes a that at some point the green energy, solar, win, whatever, is going to replace that capacity. we're not there today. we might be there origin the, but we still don't see how we're going to get resiliency and constancy out of green energy that we can have through other means. arthel: well, congressman, i do have to the leave it there. i'd love to keep talking the, but i do have to go. i i want to thank you for your time, especially on this easter sunday is. happy easter to you, take care. >> thank you. happy easter to you. arthel: thank you. we'll be right back. it's important to have confidence in the nutritional drink you choose. try boost glucose control®. it's clinically shown to help manage blood sugar levels
