>> todd: did she have any enemies or anyone who would want to do her harm? she seems like a sweet mom of two kids. >> she had no enemies. she had many friends, never had a bad word to say about anybody. yeah, it is a mystery to us, too. >> ashley: she has two children. is there any chance she would ever just up and leave her kids? is that in her character at all? >> absolutely not. i have said, if she ever needed time away or a getaway, she would come to my house. no, she would never up and leave her kids, never. >> todd: what have you told her children? >> i don't want to comment too much about the kids at this time, it is sensitive, but they are safe.

gone. we're not totally sure. >> ashley: what can the community do to help and what are they doing right now? >> we've had an outpouring of support from this community here in wynona. people are helping search for her in person. we had thousands of people this past weekend spread out and try to of coer ground, there is a lot of ground to cover here. mass searches are not being organized, but the community is encouraged to go out and look. you have access to fliers. pass those out tlchl is a gofundme for anything related to her children or us as a family, anything we need while we are here and words of support are nice to hear.

massive intelligence leak is. some saying that it's bigger than snowden. some comparing it to the wikileaks. is that what you are comparing it to? >> it is what we have seen and heard and the administration literally has no answers and so if they can't keep our top secrets safe, then how can they keep us safe? i mean, this is just another example of us projecting weakness out there and nobody has any answers. like roe v. wade. nobody has any answers. we have got to do better for the american people. >> todd: do you think we will never know how truly damaging this leak was? >> time will tell. they are still sifting through the information that's just out there on the internet and on social media. it's a lot of data and take a lot of resources to figure out what leak happened, where it came from and all the information that's out there today. and spilling our secrets on ukraine right now. this is really terrible thing that's happened at this juncture.

>> ashley: i want to go to this. you and other south carolina lawmakers are fighting to save paris island as the marine corps considers moving the training facility over climate change. tell us about your efforts and tell us why it's so important to keep it intact where it is. >> we make marines in beaufort south carolina. we more soldier than any other state than any of the arms services right now. working with lindsey graham and tim scott to make sure that we continue to make marines for decades and decades to come. it's a huge part of our system here in south carolina. we do it in one place we don't want it to be changed because of climate. we combated climate with resilience in paris island. we're proud of what they have done for the environment.
