the during the to win they've penetrated the government and that ukraine will fall well short of its counter offensive goals at retaking russian occupied territory. whoops. my friends this is devastating and tells the world that, once again, we can't keep our own house in order, our own secrets secure. now, even axios tonight, one of the establishment's most loyal supporters in the media, just posted a story admitting that the leak is swiftly unfurling into a debacle for the biden administration, which is struggling to provide answers to congress, the public, and u.s. allies. and it also tells us that biden's triumphant confidence in ukraine two months ago, well, was a total lie. >> ukraine continues to defend itself against the russian onslaught and launch a counter offensive of its own. president pugh continue's

7:05 pm
consumption and it should not be out there. >> laura: news flash, john john. the info is already out there. our allies, our adverse areas, they already have it. but the united states, the voters, are supposed to not know any of it. keep it from the american people? for what reason exactly? i'll tell you for what reason. to help biden's reelection chances naturally. once again we see the biden administration being run by a team of incompetentents. now remember this no juan was punished when they bungled the afghanistan withdraw where 13 service personnel were killed after being left as sitting ducks at the cab airport. and mistake after mistake by these buffoons have flattened our domestic and foreign policy positions. now, remember, the elites don't sweat what happens to america between now and 2028, as long as
7:06 pm
biden is reelected, they're okay. that is literally all they care about. they don't care, certainly, if the united states is humiliated on the world stage. so, per usual, after one of the worst violations of our military secrecy, no one will be fired. and like the dobbs decision, we'll never find out who leaked the documents. i mean, do you really think austin is going to be on the case with the doj? please. and we're never going to have the true story about how bad it really is, how many informants went cold, how many agents lives were jeopardized or even lost. but while the administration can try to hide the truth from the american people, it can't fool the rest of the world. both our foes and our few remaining friends know that the united states, under joe biden, has become sort of a paper tiger that's lost touch with its power, has lost its prestige and its prosperity.
7:07 pm
that's why you see our former allies rushing for the exits. they know, as well as we do, that america's claim to be a super power, it can't survive much more of this, certainly not, not with china ready to fill the vacuum with its freedom crushing crew said around the world. so, yes, we can spy on people. but how helpful does it end up being when it's all leaked anyway? and, as the angle has told you repeatedly, the people biden has put in charge of our national security are total and complete dolts. >> i don't know if there are other documents that have been online before. these are things that we will find out as we continue to investigate. they were somewhere in the web, and where exactly and who had access at that point, we don't know. we simply don't know at this point. >> laura: they're in the web.
7:08 pm
you might think it's on the web, but they're somewhere in that web, worldwide. now, as far as the angle is concerned, the u.s. at this point is essentially defenseless. now, sure, we have incredibly military hardware, although a lot less than we had before iraq, before afghanistan and before ukraine, but we don't have those precious commodities that seem few and far between these days. we don't have leaders. so we end up in a situation where the most powerful nation on earth, or what we used to be, didn't have the ability to stop china from sending balloons to traverse the united states. and, again, no one's ever fired. the entire point of a military -- remember, we spend about $800 billion a year on our military -- the military's point is to be a deterrent. and right now they're not deterring anyone. china's worried about the u.s.

views on taiwan as much as i care about liz cheyney's views on the gop. nevertheless, their recent aggressive drills near taiwan, they're not just playful prodding. >> china's fighter jets fly around taiwan skies, military ships sail off its coast. china says it's sim lating precision attacks on key targets in taiwan. its military released this showing mice i wills firing from land sea and air in taiwan two explode in flames. >> laura: best we can do is reciprocate by having our own military drills with the pill even ifs, our close ally in the region. so at this point it is pretty easy to conclude that taiwan is almost doomed. but despite what some neo cons like john bobble ton suggests. i say no troops in taiwan, nothing at all in taiwan, until
7:10 pm
we revoke the most favorite nation trade status from china. it's insane to ask american troops to be in a country at the same time we're funding an army that is about to attack that same country. but instead of learning from past mistakes, biden just stumbles along. when his people can't get china to return his call, they can't right now, they just beg harder and they look more desperate. >> why doesn't he pick up the phone and called president xi and say knock it off. >> the president looks forward to a conversation with president xi. we'd like to see this relationship get off to a better footing and when it's appropriate for the two leaders to talk then it will happen. >> laura: not being called back, they're being ghosted. at no level of this administration to we find true competence and most of the time voters are left in the dark about what's really going on. they'd rather have you focus on
7:11 pm
things like dylan mulvaney transgender activist in tennessee or whether harry and meghan are going to harry's dad's coronation. they'd rather destroy the entire country than address real problems in real time. now, trump tried to fix all this and was making real progress, especially on trade and on china. and for that, he was a real threat to the folks who normally run america. the real threat, however, is in the possibility that the man who is barely coherent, who shuffles instead of walks, could actually be reelected in 2024. so we must insist that the press publics everything. everything already in the public domain that helps americans understand the stakes here. that includes these intel leaks. the angle warned you about china, about milley, about austin, chris wray, and yet too
7:12 pm
many suburban women, independent voters in key states, they didn't care. the sad truth is that the angle believes biden and company, they've already given up on america. they think that the united states is too far in the hole to climb out. meaning, a managed decline is really the most compassionate way forward. and the rest of the world, they see that america's waning. our own allies, the second biggest economy in the eu, france, has sided with china. so my friends here's the bottom line. the united states is facing the biggest geopolitical crisis any of us has seen in over 40 years. and right now, our leaders are completely incapable of defending our interests. if we, the people, do not demand better leadership, if this group is reelected and given four more years to damage our interests, the long-term harm to the united states and to all of us who live
7:13 pm
here will be crippling. and that's the angle >> joining us now and i'm delighted, eldridge kolby former pentagon official and author of strategy denial american defense in the age of great power conflict, and victor davis hanson hover institution senior fellow. eldridge let's start with you. according to the leaks zelenskyy wanted long range missiles to fire into russia. we can't corroborate all these docs but if this is true how can we give him any other weaponry, period? >> well, laura great to be with you. i think the situation is very grim as you wet pull it. let's run through the things the reporter is saying that the ukrainians are running very low on crucial air defense missiles and a lot of people out there say hey these are little things they don't really matter. but that not true. if the russians are able to regain air superiority it will
7:14 pm
be devastating. at the same time you're seeing mark milley being validated kept schism about the prospects of the counter offensive. at the same time you pointed out the chinese are conducting like basically in our face exercise drills around taiwan openly talk about, i saw sean hannity talking with center rubio very dire about the prospects of taiwan. the chinese are making moves all over the place in the middle east, lieu la the new pel of brazil is in china and you have president macron as you pointed out going to china and basically make ping it clear as day that he doesn't really have our back. i have we have to wake up laura and this is a message not only to the administration but a lot on the republican side we can't live on the dream world, you mentioned john bolton, this idea we can do everything and we don't need to make choices that's just wrong and the recent news reinforces that. we have to get so real and i share your view about we have to change the economics but i think the taiwan situation is really
7:15 pm
serious and it's increasingly clear and that will not be the end of it. i wrote something in the japanese paper in ek last week about this saying the military the chinese are building is evidently beyond what they need in taiwan. they're looking to build bases all over the world even in the atlantic coast. so we have to get really really real and i feel that's maybe starting to happen but it's almost too late. we have no more time. >> laura: now, victor, you recently wrote about the pentagon's decline while china is building as eldridge said the strongest nation in the world. here's what we in the united states are focused on. watch this. >> for me to join as non-binary is really powerful to me. the coolestning i did onboard is to be able to participate in a lgbtq board night and read a poem that i wrote to the whole shift. >> laura: so, victor, how is this wokism deterring china or
7:16 pm
helping keep taiwan safe at a time of great peril? >> well, it's encouraging china. it's very hard to achieve global leadership, morale and military, took our grand fathers, our great grand fathers a century to do it. this bunch in washington has thrown it away in two years, it's very easy to lose and i didn't think anybody could lose it that quickly. this is a pattern now at the pentagon. we had the debacle in afghanistan as you mentioned, but we also had the milley and austin testimony about white rage, the whole woke agenda and we're not increasing the defense budget equivalent to inflation, we're short 15,000 troops in the army. and then we get to the other matter, the leaksment i mean, there's no consequences so of course people are going to leak, there's no deterrent. you saw, you mentioned the roe v wade leak that resulted in in the mobbing the supreme court
7:17 pm
justice's home. but the mueller report leaked every day unlawfully and unethically and the chairman of the fbi james comey leaked a private confidential conversation to the new york times without consequences. we have anonymous, remember him? he was a person in the trump administration that was a mole and leaking things and trying to obstruct the conduct of government. and so there's no consequences there. when you look at the items that were actually leaked, it's pretty scary. it's not just at that south korea and egypt don't really feel we can protect them and they have to make the necessary adjustments but there was scary information there about israel that mow sad and some of the generals were almost at like a coup like stage. >> laura: supporting the prost tests. >> wonder where they thought it would be okay in u.s. israeli relations for them to question the government. that's scary. it's a matter of decline and i don't know if we have the people
7:18 pm
in charge right now that can stop it. i don't think we do. and there hasn't been anybody fired for any of this that you and eldridge and i detailed. there's been no consequences to anyone. >> laura: and the only conclusion is this was their plan all along, the managed decline of the united states. eldridge and victor thank you >> whether you realize it or not here is the lay of the land. progressives are growing more violent but instead of intro spec shun about aggressively pushing this trans ideology or their mr. itical opponents as racist insurrectionists, the left responds with wanting to take your guns. charlie kirk reacts in a moment. plus andy no has another trans killer that got no attention in the media, it happened in portland, we'll tell you all the details next.

charlie we now have two leftist mass shooters in the last two weeks and the response from our media and the political class and the establishment on the left is, we've got to take guns away from conservatives. that's cute, isn't it? >> yeah. yeah, that's right, and praise god there wasn't a third in colorado. thankfully that one was thwarted but that was idealogically driven as well. it's interesting, the last ten days or two weeks notice we haven't seen these long profile pieces of journalists going to tennessee and talking to classmates of the shooter. what was this person like? did they have certain sentiments, was this trans ideology introduced in what was the turning point. there were some articles but nothing close to the buffalo shooter. that manifesto was released almost immediately because in the manifesto the great replacement theory was floated. or how about the horrendous tragedy in south carolina that was immediately mentioned

7:30 pm
weird that the suspect's name wasn't released right away because a suspect was in custody. there was delaying. and when that name came out, the police didn't use pronouns, it was also very vague. and so often, with many of these suspects, we can learn a lot about them from theirle. so immediately i looked up this individual and found out is a transgender-identifying person, and the murder of the taxi driver in portland was captured in the interior vehicle camera. and i spoke to a source who saw the video, it was described to me as gruesome and horrific. >> laura: gut wrenching. >> and the suspect allegedly went inside the vehicle while wearing a tiara, and then later plunging a blade into the neck of the driver.

because until you then get electric, you know, until you can actually have airplanes powered by electricity or nuclear then you have to eliminate it completely. no new pet troll or diesel cars by 2030 and by 2050 road use is to be restricted by 50% of today's level, foot, heating and energy also restricted to 60% of today's level by 2050. beef and lamb to be fazed out by 2050. and of course, this fits very much with all of these world economic forum great reset un objective 21. >> laura: right. >> objectives, you know, you're going to eat bugs but, you know, you're going to be happy. so, yeah, this is what it's all about. >> laura: well, i know, professor, we know that the elites, they're going to have plenty of beef and lamb. they're going to be able to fly anywhere they want to go.

they're going to be able to travel as much as they want. but i want you to describe this 15-minute cities because they're a key part of this net zero scam. last year at the world economic forum published the piece called the 15 minute 70 concept which impliers all necessary amenities with a short bike ride or transit trip from one's home, not just as an idea but as a powerful tool for action as climate change and global conflict cause shocks and stresses at faster intervals, et cetera, et cetera. a 15-minute city. what does that do to individual freedom of movement professor? >> it's absolutely catastrophic. they're actually already introducing these in the uk in several cities, lots of them, a plan, no one voted for this. they actually have these road blocks or cameras in different zones around the city which means that you're not allowed --

people are not allowed to use their cars outside of that zone, that so-called 15-minute zone, more than a hundred times per year. so you can make basically a couple of journeys a week outside of the zone. everything else you're supposed to be -- the idea is you're supposed to be shopping, working inside the zone so that's the only place you're allowed to travel by car and they make it very difficult even within the zone to do any travel by car. but the idea is essentially to stop you going out of the zone, stop you traveling wherever you want. and the joke about this, as i say, it's kind of like an irony, is this is supposed to ultimately stop people driving by car but in practice people will have to go out in zone to get to work and take their kids to school and stuff like that and what's going to happen is they'll have to drive much further to get back to where they need to be. >> laura: professor your analysis has been invaluable, we
