starting to look like a glorified vacation for president biden. >> bill: especially when his family members are tagging along, his son hunter and sister on his first presidential trip to the region. the official cause, to celebrate the peace deal made 25 years ago. >> sandra: headline after headline boasting on biden's heritage on full display, happening as china continues to make move after move and the globe forming its sphere of influence. belfast, reportedly a major breach in the president's security detail. jacqui heinrich is live in dublin. hi, jacqui. >> hey, sandra. the local irish police evidently lost those sensitive security documents that had some details about the president's travel and they were later turned in by a resident.

the documents reportedly contained the names and belfast police postings, but did not have any information that directly related to biden's security operations. the spokesman for secret service says it does not affect the president's movements and expressed confidence in local officials for handling the ongoing security of biden's visit. but it did happen against the backdrop of recent violence in northern ireland, the government has not operated there for more than a year amid a political impasse between their parties. the loyalists and irish catholic nationalists. the good friday agreement, to end three decades of civil war and share power 25 years ago, the very thing biden is here to celebrate. conservatives who backed the u.k. withdrawal from the e.u., also the shower sharing agreement after brexit and thus the impact.

disembarking in dublin, ireland, there was somewhat of a security breach as his travel plans were found all over the street. >> sandra: and that's hunter biden on the left side of the screen, we know is travelling with the president. you can see him screen left, just behind the secret service there, he's facing the camera now. >> bill: you have a good eye. i did not see it at first. and president biden will sit down with his british counterpart, likely feature some sort of discussion over what to do with china, after beijing completed the most aggressive military drills around taiwan. and as french president macron is doubling down on his comments that europe should not follow the u.s. in stopping president xi from invading the island. greg palkot has more from our london bureau, greg. >> hi, bill, more tough talk and actions today from beijing regarding taiwan.

is happening all around the world with china making deal after deal to gain influence. the president is there on the ground. he did take his son hunter, you see on the screen here, he's travelling with the president. the president also took his sister and former campaign manager, valerie biden owens, his first presidential trip to ireland to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the good friday agreement. as he was boarding he was asked whether or not he was bringing family members, accompanying him on thed not give names at that time, said just two of my family members who have not been there before. but obviously we can see for ourselves that his son who is in the middle of a lot of controversy right now and investigations, he is travelling with the president. marc thiessen is joining us. why don't you jump on in here with us as we look at the live pictures out of ireland and the

president's travels there. >> biden is celebrating a diplomatic accomplishment 25 years ago, but not many of his own. donald trump negotiated trade agreements with mexico, canada, south korea, mainly trade deals. biden does not have any to his name. he has the prime minister meeting with him, they would love to negotiate a trade deal with the united states and biden is dodging talk of a trade agreement. that should be a layup, it not one like economies when you have a trade deal between two like economies with the united states and britain, it's a simple thing to do and he does not seem to want to do that. i don't know where the president who believes in, democrats believe in diplomacy over war, there is not a lot of diplomacy going on. >> sandra: marc, if you could put the trip by the president into context, i think we have another picture here, remote

shot, walking the streets there in ireland. put this trip in context for us, marc, as we pointed out earlier, what's happening around the globe, the remarks by the french president snubbing the united states, you have china making deal after deal, gaining their global influence, this trip is happening while there are others actively working against us. >> yeah, and again, celebrating an agreement 25 years ago, negotiated by a previous democratic administration. you know, donald trump, when he was president, he negotiated not one, not two, not three, but f four arab israeli peace accords, but instead a deal between israel and saudi arabia making peace between israel and saudi

arabia, saudi arabia has signed a chinese-led deal to negotiate peace with iran. that's a loss for the united states. that is a diplomatic setback for this administration. so this administration, they talk a big game about diplomacy but are not delivering. >> bill: and you hear sandra talk about the things in the world right now, president biden's critics are some are saying what he's doing is more of a vacation than a political shore-up trip. what do you think the message he's spending is by bringing hunter biden on this trip in the middle of all the investigations he's embroiled in, and there is a lot of stuff going on, not even just china and taiwan or the french president, but the iranian militia shooting the reaper, and a jet over the black sea and now in ireland with

hunter biden. your reaction to that. >> there's a long tradition of irish american presidents going to ireland, ronald reagan did the same thing, so i don't begrudge him going to ireland, but the rest going on around the world he's not on ball in. the largest land war in europe since world war ii, ask a simple question. would the war in ukraine have happened if it had not been for biden's disastrous withdrawal from vladimir putin, of course it wouldn't have. vladimir putin took a measure of joe biden and found his resolve wanting. and xi jinping is looking at that and saying are the americans going to stay firm in ukraine, and if he's emboldened by afghanistan, then xi jinping might be on taiwan, and the great uniter of nato, joe biden, france just went over there and basically wants to negotiate a separate peace with china, and

hand over taiwan to the chinese communists. so i'm still looking for great diplomatic accomplishments. >> sandra: we have not been able during the live pictures been able to hear from the president. we did just hear a bit from him on the ground in ireland earlier. he was asked about how it feels to be there, and about the windy day. listen. >> mr. president, how does it feel to be here, sir? >> it feels wonderful, like i'm coming home. >> what do you think of the weather, mr. president? >> it's fine. it's ireland. >> sandra: tough hard charging questions for the president on this trip. michael goodwin penned an op-ed titled don't you blame lame joe biden as america faces changing tides on the global stage. writes biden is the weakest president since jimmy carter, and explains why china, russia and iran are making common cause

like never before. refuse to make deals with the united states, don't see any reason to make concessions to what they view as a declining power. do you agree with that, marc? >> yes, joe biden has written a narrative of weakness on the world stage, and look, peace and diplomacy are made possible by american strength. war and discord come from american weakness. the weakness of our withdrawal from afghanistan, handed the country over to the taliban and ukraine, only giving them enough weapons t stop russia from winning but not enough to win themselves, itself weakness and he does not want to provoke russia. what message does that send to vladimir putin, and then china is looking at this and saying if the americans really won't give -- won't give the ukrainians the weapons they need to win, i mean, ukraine is not even a -- ukraine is a country, taiwan isn't. and you know, they are questioning whether they want to spend the money in ukraine, are

they going to spend blood of american soldiers to defend taiwan and so maybe they are not so strong after all. we have to -- we have to start projecting strength on the world stage if we want to avoid war. >> sandra: we just lost the live picture, sometimes you lose the connection there. they are in a restaurant now. i don't know if they serve ice cream, that could be on the menu. but we'll keep watching and get the live images back. it appears the president and those travelling with him have entered the restaurant. go ahead, bill. >> bill: something tells me we are going to find out if they have ice cream. the quote from washington post talking about his trip, headline, biden's irish heritage on full display as he visits emerald isle. he was scheduled to look at the shores in which his ancestors, some shoe makers, departed in the mid 1800s, to engage with

distant cousins and walking through streets of adoring crowds. looks like we have our live picture back, they are in some sort of a restaurant in dundalk, ireland, and waiting to get the live picture as president biden and his son hunter are expected to walk through there. the picture blurry, it goes off a cell signal, you can imagine a lot of cell phones as the president is making the visit, but walking through streets of adoring crowds. >> he is. he's an irish american. ronald reagan had adoring crowds as well. this is a tradition of american politics of irish presidents going home to their roots in ireland. there's nothing wrong with what he's doing in ireland. there is something wrong what he's not doing in ukraine, and wrong in the middle east where saudi arabia, a country that was coming closer to the united states and was coming closer to

a peace deal with israel stopped making peace with israel and started making peace with iran and working with china. these are the problems that he's creating on the world stage and no one would be questioning his visit to ireland if other things were going better. >> sandra: interesting, the public nature of seeing hunter biden out there, we saw him at the easter egg roll at the white house, and now travelling with the president. the president's sister travelling with am as well. >> that's true, and i don't know what the history of jimmy carter bringing billy carter on trips was, but we seem to be back in the 1970s, a weak american president who has handed over a u.s. ally to islamic radical regime and this time in afghanistan, begging opec to produce more oil and turned down and wayward presidential relative trying to do business with dictators. all very familiar.

>> sandra: as we continue to monitor the president's travels overseas, border agents back home are bracing for the worst as the covid era policy title 42 is set to expire less than one month today. this as fox news has obtained stunning new images from the southern border, take a look at this new video. a migrant is seen hoisting a heavily pregnant woman over a barbed wire fence, highlighting the desperation these migrants face every single day to make it into america. complete coverage now. texas democratic congressman henry cuellar will be joining us moments away, but matt is live in eagle pass, texas for us. hi, matt. >> hi, sandra, the heartbreaking incident happened not far from where i'm standing at the border. it shows a man lifting that young pregnant woman and a boy over barbed wire fencing along

the rio grande river. the man then kisses the pregnant woman's belly and retreats into the brush heading back towards mexico. if you look closely in the brush, you'll see a second man facing the migrants and watching that kiss exchange. it's not clear what the second man's role was in this scenario, but because there are so many cartel associated coyotes, this incidents begs the question whether the second man was a coyote. and this pregnant woman is one of at least 1.2 million migrant encounters at the southern border since october. we are waiting for the march numbers to be released. looking at the recent monthly numbers, december, record high 250,000 migrant encounters, and it dropped to 120,000 in january and february. historically, the numbers increase in the warmer months that we have now entered. and you may recall a fire in a mexican detention center last month that killed 40 had people.

mexico's top immigration official will face criminal charges for the fire. they say the official was negligent in preventing the fire and there was a flair-up on the mexican side of el paso, and we are told it began as a protest of the fire. sandra. >> sandra: matt, thank you. bill. >> bill: sandra, a bipartisan group of lawmakers, including our next guest, met with the mexico president last month to talk about some of the common challenges we are facing at the southern border. but while the mexican president claimed it was respectful, he has been ripping into america for the ongoing fentanyl crisis, blaming it on the disintegration of u.s. families while complaining to china over rude threats from u.s. lawmakers who have proposed designating mexican drug cartels as terror

groups. for more on this, henry cuellar, he represents part of the border area in the laredo area. thank you for your time today. >> it's a pleasure being with you again. >> some of your gop colleagues, they have been calling more urgently that cartels should be designated as terror organizations. what lindsey graham had to say recently. >> i want to call them terrorists, then i want to do the second thing, allow military force to be used, not to invade mexico, not to take down the mexican government, but to break the backs of these cartels that are killing 70,000 americans a year. >> bill: i understand you disagree with that, right? >> i do. look, every year there is -- i mean every year there is over $800 billion of trade between the u.s. and mexico. mexico is a big trading partner. so imagine if we start bombing mexico what it means to our businesses, to our consumers if we would start attacking them.

look, the bottom line is we have the kingpin law, the laws on the books already where we can go after them, we have to make sure we put the resources, the technology, the personnel, to go after those individuals itself. so, i want to make sure that we stop the drugs and the human smuggling that is happening at the border right now. we have to use the right weapon to use that, and i'm talking about the laws on the books right now. >> the last time i saw you you told me that when the biden administration was coming into office you were trying to warn the transition team that hey, we have an impending border crisis, you guys got to get ready for it. you said they essentially ignored you. i'm curious, it's been a couple years. do you have any line of communication with the white house right now. you are a democrat on the border and you called a spade a spade. have you heard from the white house, do you have any communication with them? >> well, you know, i don't

really work with the white house on this issue but i'm working very closely with the homeland security. we have had a lot of good communications with the secretary, with the cbp commissioner, and i want to make sure we have the rules in place, the resources in place to make sure that we stop the drugs from coming in. you know, when you look at fentanyl, for example, from 2015 to 2021, and that includes two administration's at that time, actually three of them, we are seeing that it has increased by seven-fold, and fentanyl is something that is affecting us. so it's not only the law enforcement, but we need to do also the consumption. i think nancy reagan was right when she said just say no, so we need to look at this on a more comprehensive approach, not only does law enforcement but rehab

and making sure we tell the kids to stay away from drugs. fentanyl, when you put horse tranquilizers in fentanyl and people are taking the drugs thinking they are taking something else, that's why so many people are dying from the fentanyl and china knows what they are doing. the mexican president did send that letter admittedly the foreign ministry office sent out, we have nothing to do with it, and we know that the fentanyl coming through two ports in mexico and the pacific coast, then going up the border after they are worked on, transformed there in mexico coming into the u.s. we know exactly what's happening and china knows what they are doing and china is not a friend of the united states. >> bill: congressman, quick, 30 seconds for a response. dhs secretary mayorkas refuses to call what's happening there a

>> bill: welcome back. fox news alert this afternoon, louisville metro police just releasing the 911 calls from the shooting this week that killed five people and one of those phone calls to police came from the gunman's own mother. garrett tenney live in louisville. what are we hearing in the new 911 calls? >> well, bill, the suspect's mother called police to warn them her son had a gun and was heading to old national bank but unfortunately the call came in too late. 8:41 a.m., 3 minutes after officers had arrived on the scene, so while this mother was on the phone with police trying to warn them about her son, he was shooting at officers trying to kill them and ultimately before she got off the phone, he had been killed by those officers. on this call, the mother tells a

dispatcher that her son had left a note at his home and that his concerned roommate had called to tell her about the note. she told the dispatcher he is a good kid, nonviolent and never done anything and they don't even own guns and does not know where he would get one. the end of the call, the mother is trying to get into her car to come to the bank when she finds out she might be too late. >> what do i do, just go there? >> no, i don't want you to go to the location, ok? no, i don't want you to go to the location, ma'am. >> we are going to the location. >> i don't want you to go to the location. we have -- we have a situation that's going on down there right now, we have had calls from other people and i do not need you to go to the location at this time, ok, it's dangerous there. >> you've had calls from other people, so he's already there? >> yes, at old national bank on east main street, i'm advising you not to go to the location, it's an unsafe situation and officers are already at the location, ma'am. >> ok, thank you.

>> thank you. >> all right, bye. >> heartbreaking 911 call one of several that were just released. the others include several folks inside the bank at the time of the shooting. one woman calling from a closet. all together, officials just released close to an hour of audio, six 911 calls and recordings of emergency dispatchers from monday morning as officers and paramedics were responding to old national bank. we are going to be going through all of that right now and will keep you updated as we get more. also worth noting, the suspect had left a note behind. we have been told the morning before the shooting he had also reached out to at least one person to tell them that he was suicidal and that he planned to hurt other people. bill. >> bill: garrett, some remarkable audio, you can hear the panic in the mom's voice. thank you for the live report. sandra, unfortunately mom tried to help but was a few minutes
