>> it has become painfully obvious to many of us in california that she is no longer able to fulfill her duties. she doesn't have a clear return date. we haven't been able to confirm judges at a time where women's rights and voting rights are under assault. so as someone from california, i felt an obligation to say what so many colleagues are saying in private that the time has come for her to gracefully step down. >> jesse: that was ro khanna california congressman who went on don lemon's show to say a woman is past her prime. nancy, na na na, she wasn't having it. >> senator feinstein has been a champion for california. she deserves the respect to get well and be back on duty and it's interesting to me. i don't know what political agendas are at work that are going after senator feinstein in that way. i have never seen them go after a man who was sick in the senate in that way. >> jesse: oh, this is getting

fun so we have seen ageism and now seen sexism. what is diane's next move. she announced stepping down from seat on judiciary committee and some other democrat is going to come in and rubber stamp biden's judges, whatever. she is planning on coming back. but, no one really told diane it's open season on her seat. so why does it matter who the senator is, right? fetterman is senator in pennsylvania. but california is key. the california senator will represent the most powerful companies in the world. google, apple, facebook. california senator represents hollywood, two huge ports for the pacific. farming interest. and, remember, california is a launching pad for the white house. you got nixon, you got reagan. you got kamala. all came out of california. so, who is gaining from diane's

seat. first congresswoman diane porter being groomed to fill it. "primetime" did an investigation into this woman. and this woman is funny. her husband divorced her because she dumped a bowl of steaming hot potatoes offer his head. she wouldn't let her husband have a cell phone because is he too f'ing dumb to operate it. that's his alleys. husband says porter is prone to extreme anger and has a history of snapping and screaming at him and the children and would claw and scratch. the woman sounds like a rabid raccoon. they have even attended anger management classes together but it didn't take. they are not together one time and her husband hadn't cleaned the house she slammed a coffee pot sending shards of glass. husband said it cut him. she screamed this house is a mess you f'ing slob.

they both had to get restraining orders against each other. one time she was dating this guy and the guy punched a trump supporter in the face, bloodied up his nose so the police arrested porter's boyfriend. so what did porter do? she attacked the police and said the police force was a disgrace. again, these marital allegations, they're just allegations, you know how messy divorces can be. but it is the public record. her behavior works a little controversial, she fired a staffer for giving her covid. i don't know if she contact traced it, but she claims she got covid from the staffer. and she screams at her staff all the time, they say. she shows up to work in congress dressed up as bat woman. but, now she is rehabbing her image just a sweet little soccer mom. >> we have got a weird book from an ex-boyfriend. we have a project that i never had time to help my daughter with.

woman to restore the seat that kamala harris is no longer in the united states senate and do you have a name in mind? >> i have multiple names. >> yes or no. >> we have multiple names in mind and the answer is yes. >> bret: so, schiff is not a woman. and potatoes isn't black. so who is going to shatter? barbara lee shatters. congresswoman barbara lee not only a black woman but a black single woman. here's where it gets tricky. >> lee's campaign is dead last. all the donors are already all in for schiff and potatoes. so, the straight white male gavin newsom is in a jam. does he honor his commitment and tap a black woman who is dead last and whom no one likes. people would go crazy. or does he replace feinstein with a guy, shift j and go back on his word? or does he split the baby and nominate a white woman potatoes?

encampments. i'm in sacramento now. i don't know what he will do. i know you are asking what are people on the ground saying. i don't exactly hang around democrat primary voters on my visit to california. it's interesting, isn't it? you said it perfectly this woke game of thrones. the only difference is everybody is jaffery. it's like the red wedding on repeat. and these people are nasty. but i just want to take a step back and i want to just appreciate what we are learning. the different factions, right? as the democrat party has become more coastal, obviously you look at certain coalitions like suburban women, katie porter. the intel community is right in lock step with the democratic party adam schiff and of course the overemphasis on race politics with barbara lee. they are not really sure who deserves it more. and, you know, they say well dianne feinstein ro khanna comes out and says she should resign or step aside because we need to get work done. since when is showing up to work a prerequisite of the democratic party? >> that's true.

>> if that was necessary we should have some changes at the executive level. i find this fascinating and also horrifying to see which identity politic group matters the most. and if this is the -- this is the best the democrat party has to offer, then i think it's shocking to say the least. >> how bad is feinstein right now? she must be in rough condition. she has got shingles. sounds nasty. where do you think she is in all of this? do you think she is comprehending? >> i don't know. i mean, again, i hate to be cruel. but comprehension is not something you need to be a u.s. senator before look at the senator from pennsylvania. >> jesse: around for two decades. >> actually true. another point how much has california run our political dynamic over the last decade. former speaker of the house. current speaker of the house. vice president of the united states. very powerful senators not to mention swalwell with his own problems. a lot happens in california impacts the rest of the country. a state with 38, 40 million

distortion of history his reward has been a media lynching. hakeem didn't just defend uncle lenny. he also insulted black conservatives saying this: the house blank of the slavery era and the black conservative of today are both opportunists interested in securing some measure of happiness for themselves within the existing social order in both cases the social order has blacks occupying the lowest societal echelon. if we are playing by democrat rules, hakeem is toast. it doesn't matter if it's 30 years back. remember kavanaugh? they wanted him canned because of something he wrote in the yearbook. buff young hakeem defends attacks on jews and black conservatives? nothing listen to this. he wasn't just backing up family he also defended farrakhan. hakeem couldn't understand what was so controversial about farrakhan. you be the judge. >> the satanic jews that control

something that is familiar to black america along at people like harriet tubman. not just thomas sowell. there are a legion of black americans that have supported freedom, supported small government, personal responsibility. in fact, when you ask black americans some basic questions about faith, family, and responsibility, what you see iss that black americans are actually more conservative than americans at whole. shame on him for saying these things then but for definitely not for clearing it up today. >> jesse: so we haven't seen any statement that the adl put out. we haven't seen a lot of coverage into cnn's credit. they're the ones who broke this. but, you know, this looks like it's just going to get swept

column and he joins me now. and what? it was just about supporting gay marriage at first and now look at it. >> at the time it seemed like the right strategic move to make. i guess in terms of what the outcome was, actually achieving things like marriage equality, nondiscrimination legislation, it was the right move for advocates. with you what i realized 10 years later, looking back on not only the work i did but the trajectory that we have had as a country, i think that if the gay advocacy movement in the united states wasn't the inflection point where corporations felt it was okay and that the public would support them for weighing in on contentious social issues, it was most definitely the accelerant. about 10 years ago started seeing corporations changing their logos to rainbows during the month of june for gay pride. where ceos felt comfortable speaking out on issues like that. and what i think has happened now is we have not only had

these corporations as you showed infected with far left propaganda, but they have become increasingly, in the case of bud light it seems, maybe entirely disconnected from their customer base. and as corporations, their focus should be on the bottom line. not pushing a social agenda. and so i think what we are seeing now is americans pushing back. it's part of the work i'm doing tolerance campaign sort of make amends for the time that i spent working as a lobbyist leaning on corporations in that regard. >> jesse: when you were initially lobbying these corporations to publicly support gay marriage and then they started putting rainbow flags everywhere and then they started doing a ton of just targeted advertising and, you know, it became overwhelmingly about that issue. did you want that? or did you just want the gay marriage stuff legal? >> you know, i can tell you as a conservative, we wanted an inch,

the other side took a mile. isliberals took a mile. >> jesse: liberals exploited the gay marriage push into what, gay everything? transgender everything, black lives matter, abortion, the whole bai basket of issues. >> liberals felt empowered. precedent set after corporations weighed in on gay issues. liberals say if you are going to weigh on he can same sex marriage. why aren't you weighing in on black lives matter? why aren't you weighing in on abortion. the ceos painted themselves into a corner they initially set this precedent weighs in on the gay issue and pushing corporations into this left ward drift. >> jesse: is there any way the corporations can stop the culture war stuff and stay out of this. >> i think they can. but the fact is it's going to take an equal and opposite reaction. the same grassroots forces that pushed corporations to weigh in on these contentious social issues can push corporations to

[inaudible] >> jesse: although the mother considers herself a democrat, she is being attacked by her beliefs by other democrats. and now she is standing up to the school board. the mom is suing the school. amber lavigne and her attorney adam shelton join me now. amber, i'm sorry this is going on. what has been the school's response that this is just normal to do this behind your back? >> yeah. they have basically defended the social worker's behaviors, which has been a little concerning for sure. >> jesse: what did they specifically say? it's okay to transition a child? >> yeah. they have essentially said that the behavior of the social worker, they don't see any wrongdoing here. they didn't do an investigation. they essentially had a conversation with the social worker. and myself and decided that he did nothing wrong. >> jesse: oh my gosh. how is your daughter doing? >> you know, i want to protect her privacy. but she is doing really great

academically, i pulled her from the school and she is is home school currently and she is doing well. >> jesse: i'm glad to hear that. >> yeah. >> jesse: have you been attacked online by her people. >> yeah. unfortunately, this has become a political issue. it's a parental rights issue. and whether you are a democrat or a republican i firmly believe you should want your right as a parent to be protected. i spoke at legislative hearing thursday against a bill here in the state of maine lb 34 that would allow social workers to behave like this. i encourage you if you live in the great state of maine to reach out to your representatives and encourage them to not allow this bill to pass. >> jesse: yeah, i love maine. i can't believe that's happening there. all right. so, adam, what's the legal situation here? are you guys going to win in court? >> i think we're well-positioned to win in court. the supreme court has long held that parents have a fundamental right to control and direct the
