[booing]. >> how many of you would have liked to see laura tonight? 7:01 pm
>> i'm looking forward to it. >> we are going to test you on live television see if can you throw a football. >> oh, probably better than you mr. krav. >> this is the ingraham angle, divide and turnout, that's the focus of tonight's angle. here's what we know tonight about the state of merge america. mortgage demand plummets as rates rise. workers have essentially had 24 months now of pay cuts. public pessimism about the economy hit an all-time high under biden. layoffs coming. meta announced it's cutting 4,000 more technical employs and desantis slugging it out with disney, they're cutting
7:02 pm
reportedly 7,000 jobs and espn gu getting hit hard and biden's war against cars continue. gas prices have reached a five month high. now, as all of this is weighing on us, there's no end in sight sbel for the war in ukraine. >> the biden-harris administration will announce a new security assistant package for ukraine. >> the announcement will be the 36th use of presidential draw down authorities to support ukraine. >> $200 plus million more. some of the biggest economies in the world we thought were allies are aligning with china first macron in france went to beijing and lula. >> he met with xi jinping and vowed to strengthen ties and brazil leaders took swipes at the dominance of the u.s. dollar. >> shocking, not.
7:03 pm
i'm not going to belabor the obvious about the border. it's an open weather is of drugs and human traffic all due to biden policies and ending title 42. there isn't even anything to debate here anymore. biden is a complete utter disaster on all fronts, and embarrassment on the world stage. >> all the busy enlt prices -- >> i've been iraq and iran and fires. it's a consequence of the -- the utility poles you put up and all the rest. >> oh, the utility pole problem. yeah. he's a complete incompetent. no one believes he's calling any of the shots no one is better off than they were pre-pandemic when trump was president so give it all of that which everyone if you really are being honest everyone agrees with. what on earth should we expect
7:04 pm
from biden if he does run and from the democrats in general going into 2024? i'll tell you what to expect. divide and demonize. that's all they have. forget hope and optimism. obama hope and change out the window. expect old school machine style petty politics. if he wants to get elected with his nightmare record biden has to divide the country into villains and victims and whoever they deem worthy victim will be elevated to hero status and get rewarded and whoever they paint as evil will be punished and severely. so in every speech on every trip he will try to shift attention away from his and his party's abject failures to the bad people out there on the other side. he can't win without dividing us and the stories they choose to inject themselves nozzle only be ones that advance their political narrative. this is why they'll give a hero
7:05 pm
welcome to the tennessee three but not to the families of the nashville christian shooting. >> monday you're going to have three of the lawmakers who protested. >> peacefully protest. >> who peacefully protested after the nashville could have nent school shooting. had any of the victims or the victims been invited to the witt. >> i don't have anything to read out to you about any invite. >> i just don't have time to read out anything about an invite. the president is focused on getting things done. he's focused on making sure we are protecting our communities. >> protecting our communities? why doesn't biden spend any time talking about the violent crimes being perpetrated by roving kids by places like chicago and compton? don't expect democrats to spend a lot of time on those stories because they don't advance the narrative that america is racist. same with the horrible sweet 16

shooting in alabama. these are not the accused. they're not of a white officer-involved shooting or white on black killing. so, they don't get the play. of course, the liberals have lots of proxies in the media in hollywood corporate america they're all helping them out and of course we can't forget the activist crowd, people who cash in on the lie that our country is systemicly racist. there is no money in suing gang bankers in chicago or blaming black on black violence that rips apart entire communities. instead they wait for the perfect fact pattern like an 84-year-old white man who miss fake evenly shot a teen on his doorstep. >> waits white man who shot your 16-year-old son. it is inescapable not to observe the racial dynamics here.
7:07 pm
if the roles were reversed, and you had a black man shoot a 16-year-old white child for simply ringing his doorbell and the police took him in for questioning and let him come home and sleep in his bed at night how much outrage would there be in america? >> victims are victims. skin color should not matter. but it obviously does to demps and the media exploiting their suffering only to feed their sick lie that america is racist and yeah trump voters, they are too. now, biden's inviting ralph the black teen to the witt but no invite for the family of kaylin gillis who was shot when she went up the wrong drive way in upstate new york last week. that girl died but she was white so her death didn't help biden.
7:08 pm
understand what the democrats and allies are doing here. even if you're losing money every month sink into debt fiend you think biden should be in a rest home you can't vote against him and for change because as the argument goes republicans are evil in voting against biden is akin to approving racism. their tactics are so transparent and they're so cynical but there you have it but it doesn't have to be this way. just because biden has given up on america doesn't mean that we should as well. as we go into 2024 republicans have to show the country, and i'm talking about the whole country not just red states, that there is a better way. he can grow this economy. we can rebuild our military. we can stand up to china. we can rein in big business and we know how to do it and republicans in state after state are doing it now, let's take that message to new york, to philly, to chicago, yeah, even
7:09 pm
san francisco and l.a. let's save the whole country, no state and no city left behind. america has survived what, almost 250 years now. we certainly will not be destroyed by joe biden and his cynical handlers and that's the angle. another victim the left has chosen to ignore is u.s. army veteran father of threeasan correa brutally beaten and stabbed to death in 2018 even though the entire attack caught on camera two of the for thugs charged in the murder received sweetheart duals from alvin bragg in new york. >> all types of criminal elements, free to do what they want when they want, however they want, to whomever they want with no consequences. and as far as the manhattan district attorney's office, if he's receiving one penny of

7:11 pm
everything about this entire case. they treated me and my family like garbage. they referred to sergeant hasan correa, afghanistan retired war veteran, received and returned fire on the taliban wore medals of honor to prove it. they refer to him as a fictitious character in court and said the most important people in the room were the people who killed him and this is the type of thing that i have to endure to torment, the torture, the horror of watching the criminal justice system deliver no justice or closure for the murder of my boy. >> beyond just the stabbing which is horrific of itself, i know you're wearing his dog tags. >> yes. >> what else was it about in case that just didn't rise to the level of the narrative that the media and the political

7:13 pm
>> what do you say to folks in inter city america today who have reflection i havely been democrats any know you were a democrat and became a republican but they're born into the democrat party. if you're not a democrat you're an uncle tom. you're a sell out. what do you say to say to them about the pain they're feeling today? >> well, we have been voting democrat for generations. we have got nothing in return for our votes. dilapidated housing failing schools crime poverty abortion okay. on and on and on but we continue to just give our vote away for nothing in return, and i'm going to quote something that trump said. what do we have to lose by giving the other side a chance? how will we know what we are going to get when we never gave them a chance? okay. we have nothing to lose. we don't have anything.
7:14 pm
all right? welfare, food stamps, nothing. unemployment? death, destruction, and self decimation is what we have. and at this point i feel that it is intentional. we have a mayor who comes to the hood only when he wants to vote and he's completely abandoned the black and brown community. >> well the black and brown community tonight i hope is listening to this. we are going to get this out on social media as well. everyone has got to wake up. this is a country we have to save. this is a people we have to say. madeleine thank you. condolences continue to you and your family. you're an amazing warrior. >> thanks for having me. >> as much as the biden team is hoping to distract from bad record there are sienz he's in trouble for 2024.

according to reuters the president's rating is 39 percent. how could the party be over for amtrak joe? tom from real clear politics, you just heard the pain of a mother lifelong democrat who is just not buying this narrative anymore that america is racist, america is racist, america is racist, that's why you have to vote for the democrats. trump made some inroads with black voters. could we see more of a shift ever so slight next election given this crime? >> certainly is possible. crime was a factor in the midterms. i think there is opportunity for republicans to make inroads, particularly with the sort of populist economic message of opportunity and growth for everyone. i mean mean trump has made gains during his time in office by
7:16 pm
pushing that message and it was among all working class white, brown, black, you name it. so, i think that may continue and certainly crime is going to be a huge initial 2024. >> now here's how the white house tom responded to biden's approval ratings today on the economy. check this out. >> 69 percent of people polled by cnbc said they have a negative view of the economy. >> president biden talks about the economy all the time. why aren't people buying it? >> there's one poll, but he's not going to stop talking about what the american people really care about, addressing the issues and concerns they have. >> they have their heads in the sand and are not going to address this question because they know it's disaster for them. >> correct. jump stood at that podium and said this is the strongest economy in history and b and biden continues say inflation is

going down his policies are working. meanwhile we are seeing as the poll that peter ducey mentioned you know public pessimism on the economy is sky high. everybody thinks that we are heading into a recession. so, i think the economy and joe biden's approval rating overall is in the low 40s on the economy. it's 39 percent on inflation particular 34.5 percent so dismal numbers on economic matters. >> on desantis vs. trump, trump has shown enormous staying power over the past few months, especially since these investigations dropped and the latest especially. and be ron desantis has had some trouble keeping up in some of these national polls. where do you see this as a snap shot right now? >> yeah, the only thing we know based on the data, 2024 polls you've got to be wary. they may have an idea where the trends are and the trends have moved in trumps favor.
