agent other than they have been on the job at the irs for 10 years. we know a lot more about his attorney. >> that's right, steve. the whistleblower has not been identified. he or she is a career irs special agent who has been investigating hunter biden for three years. he claims in a new letter to congress federal prosecutors are preventing tax charges from being brought up against the president's son. here is more from the letter, quote: detailed preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected. now, here's the whistleblower's attorney. >> to him, the truth is one truth. and he wants to come forward with it. he is ready to be questioned about what he knows and what he experienced under the proper legal protections. >> we know the sex it is a he. the chairman spoke to sean hannity last night.

yoe particular taxpayer. what he ask asking for is protection so he is not retaliated against by sobody in the government. >> ainsley: yeah. this letter, his attorney sent the letter to nine recipients in the -- sorry, nine lawmakers. >> steve: in congress. >> brian: bipartisan, democrats and republicans. he wants that protection. my client will talk if you protect him. he said my client is prepared to provide information that would contradict sworn testimony to congress by a senior political appointee according to "the new york post." they say congressional sources are claiming that that is the a.i. g., merrick garland. the whistleblower is prepared to reveal flarls to handle clear conflicts of interest in the case and detail preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols. >> brian: he also believes the senior appointee lied in front of congress, gave false testimony to congress about this case. the "wall street journal"

expands on that, and they have said in the past the "wall street journal" that investigators believe they have more than enough evidence to indict president biden's son. but the case has not moved forward. john solomon breaking this story picked up by the "wall street journal" and us said this last night. >> the interesting thing about this whistleblower is he doesn't want to just hang out with republicans. he wants to face the music. he wants to look democrats and republicans and independents in the eye so he sent this letter to the democratic side. he sent it to the republican side. he is not afraid to confront the adam schiffs and the eric swalwells and all the jokesters who gave us all the bogus stories the last four years. the reason he is so confident, he has the receipts. he has contemporaneous documents. it's not going in doubt what he provides to congress. >> steve: so he is bringing evidence. now, keep in mind, it was back in october "the washington post" had that blockbuster story about how they were learning from fbi

agents and investigators that they had accrued enough information to indict hunter biden on tax charges. so what they did is they presented the information with the prosecutors. and the prosecutors, as we have famously told you a million times, are at the u.s. attorney's office in delaware. that's a man by the name of david weiss. so, if you connect the dots of what we have learned yesterday from the whistleblower's attorney, and what we learned back then, you have to figure somebody has given mr. weiss, the u.s. attorney in delaware, some information that is not accurate about the situation of mr. biden. >> brian: there is also speculation that the attorney general merrick garland who vouched for the independence of david weiss, who is a trump holdover, that he might -- he said he has been advised that he is not being denied anything that he needs but the fact that he, merrick garland, vouched for his independence could be called into question is david weiss'

well, i was on my way to work. september 20th about 5:20 in the morning when i got attacked by foster who was released from the -- from jail and i got attacked. and from the attack, i lost vision in my right eye. and from lack of police officers being in the subway station at the time of them being defunded at that time. it was no one there to help. my gosh, elizabeth, when you watch that video. i don't know if you have even been able to watch it, but you stand back up it. looks like you are trying to get back up kind of on your fees and he comes back for more. you lost your eye as a result. we have been playing this video for a long time. it's really hard to watch and had to warn our viewers. what was going through your mind? stomping on your head? what did he say? what did you find out about him? was he on drugs? >> actually he was a convicted felon. he was in jail multiple times,

you know, he killed his foster grandmother 14. he shouldn't have been walking the street at all. all the felonies and cases he has behind him. the only thing i was really thinking about honestly was just somebody helping me. >> steve: as you mentioned a moment ago, if there had been police in that station. had there been funding rather than defunding, you would not have lost your eye. had there been somebody to step in and had that guy actually been in jail, rather than been released after his conviction for whatever. i don't know the exact circumstances of it. but tell us, elizabeth, if you would, give the message to a.o.c. who says she would rather the money go teachers rather than police? i think we can have both, but give the argument for why we need more police. >> i mean, you see, yes. we need both but safety do come first. if you don't make these children

safe at school, how would you make them want to go to school. once anybody feelings endangered any kind of way you wouldn't want to go. fix all these communities, places like pools and parks. how would people want to go if there is no safety. i believe safety comes with police officers. and once police officers then people would feel more realistic to go places. they wouldn't feel scared to go to school. they wouldn't be scared to go to a public school. they wouldn't be scared going to a train station just going to work. you know? there is times and place for everything. and once you put safety first, everything else will go right after it. i cannot call a teacher if i need help, if a man is running me down, i cannot call a teacher. i'm going to have to call the police. i'm going to be praying for police. not a teacher. you know, i understand you need a masters for all of these things but to own a business, you don't need a master degree. let's safety is first. the people out there need safety. we're not going to be running behind teachers. like, come on, guys.

afghanistan including eye sis k and al-qaeda with the centcom commander saying isis being within six months of striking in the united states. if you think about a diversification of those funds, if it is going to terror groups we could literally be funding the next strike on the united states or the west. >> ainsley: what was your reaction to the administration thinking there are 300,000 afghan soldiers and police paying their salaries but he says they don't exist. we are paying ghost soldiers? >> absolutely. there is always -- there have always been major systemic pay problems in afghanistan and how money goes from point a to point b. but even more concerning right now is how the money is being basically handed over to the taliban and there is no local oversight whatsoever. and we're still -- you know, the veterans groups are still talking to the command dose and the afghan special forces who were left behind and they are verifying that no humanitarian aid is getting to these people who are in this crisis and there are others who are saying that there are camps operating all

>> national government has turned its back on new york city. this is one of the largest humanitarian crises that this city has ever experienced. the president and the white house has failed new york city on this issue. enough is enough. new yorkers deserve better from our national government. >> steve: did you hear that new york city mayor eric adams: housing alone new york spends as much as $55,000 per migrant. that's a deal they struck between the hotel management and the city. that comes to -- that's about $300 million for the 55,000 in the city. and that tent encampment in randle island cost $16 million

and it's not even up anymore. total, about $5 million per day for all of the migrants from fiscal year new york city is going to pay $5 billion on the crisis. here to react is imgranted peter la image. good morning to you. >> good morning. thank you for having me. >> steve: he is those numbers are off the wall that's why we call the numbers off the wall. close to $5 million per day in new york city to handle the migrants. where is that money coming from? >> look, the failed liberal policies implemented in the united states are promoting chaos and lawlessness. i'm an attorney and i go to the immigration board at least once a week or couple of days a week. it's interesting when you go up to manhattan, you will see at least 2,000 to 3,000 immigrants being resisted with ice.

reporting to court, and it just breaks my heart when i see that where is the money coming from? look, we have a sanctuary city and, you know, it's coming back to haunt us because we promoted these kinds of policies. we are spending $5 million a day on illegal immigrants. the procedure is that when you come to the united states, come legally released you have to have someone whom you will be going. that individual is the one who assures the government that they will take care of the illegal when they come to the united states for the time being and provide for them, otherwise you wouldn't be released from custody. you have to have someone who is waiting for the illegal once they come to new york or whatever state they are going. to say $9.9 billion were spent last year in new york state to house and feed illegals in our state. that is a tremendous amount of money. you look at the housing crisis that we have. that is being caused by the demand that we right now in new

york city. did you go to the hospital. public hospitals, you would have to wait there for hours to be seen by a doctor at the emergency room. the educational, you know, public schools are going to collapse with the demand of the illegals that, you know, are going tao tend our schools. so, i don't blame actually mayor adams for raising his voice if you will and bringing this issue to a national -- to national attention. >> steve: sure. you know, peter, when we have shown video of the migrants crossing the rio grande river into the united states, sometimes there are hundreds on hand there. we nobody everybody has a story and want to have a better life in the united states. if the old days they used to sign a guest book and there is a process now they crosses river and they are here. never saw a number. on will the big wall. the deal between the hotel association and the city it's going to cost $55,000 per migrant on average. i'm sure some are less but some

are more we are not talking about chicago, l.a., d.c. filly. that's just this town. so, once again, i go back to the fundamental question, where is joe biden going to get this money to pay for these people he is letting into the country? >> i don't think he wants to resolve that issue for the time being. actually, we are enticing illegals to come to the united states. this government, this federal government is enticing them to come to the united states because of the benefits we provide to them. now, when it comes to money, he is going to have to raise taxes you and i working is six, seven days a week. spending $57,000 per migrant per year to house them and keep them in the united states, that is someone's yearly salary and i don't think the biden administration is concerned with the middle class at this point or for our hard-working americans. couldn't care less about the money. eventually is he going to get the money. but i think the goal here is to bring as many illegals as

possible to the united states for the time being. we don't see anyone actually trying to enforce the law. ice has become an agency that is just processing people who are coming to the united states instead of enforcing immigration law. >> steve: and do you know what? yesterday, peter, we were talking about how the estimates are that two thirds of the children that come across the river into the united states wind up in a situation where it's against their will. children, child labor. something-like two thirds, which means, you know, stuff that we buy, we figure it's made by an adult somewhere. it could be made by a sweat -- in a sweat shop by a kid in another country. >> none of the immigration laws are being enforced properly. that would be the purpose of having enforcement of these laws, because, once you come to the united states, whether they come here legally, i think that we should have a process that we make sure that we drag down and we make sure that thieves kids

meteorologist janice dean for our fox weather forecast. i know, janice, we always say it's that time of year when there is severe weather. when you see how big that piece of hail was, can you understand how it goes through windshields. >> janice: severe weather outbreak oklahoma, kansas kansas, down toward texas. and unfortunately we are going to see complete devastation in and around the oklahoma city area. at love these tornadoes and the damage was reported after around 10:00 last night. so, i'm really, really worried about what we're going to see this morning as the sun comes up. not only for oklahoma, but up towards des moines. so, this is going to be the situation throughout the day today as these storms continue to move eastward. look at the radar. a lot of the damage coming around 10:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m., the midnight hour and when you see radar like that with that hook echo, it's just going to be devastating this morning. i can't stress it enough. we need prayers out there. looking at the line of

this is huge. those who don't comply will not receive any state aid immediately and the supervisors could be fired. a long island high school is pushing back saying, quote: we will not sit idly by while unelected group of officials tries to remove our history. here to react is president and founder chris makaro. this is huge news. this is happening in 21 other states. you are talking about a lot of districts. 60 school districts. 55 have american indian names. 133 schools are affected. this is going to cost millions of dollars. is it wrong-headed? >> it depends on the district. it depends on the logo. it's subjective based on community by community. there are some things that could be in question. but there's a lot of things like the flaming arrow which means so much. >> brian: chuff. >> i wear on my heart i wear proudly today. it's the identity of our community that we have to honor native americans and their culture. >> brian: one of the native american groups says this. i think it's long overdue.

says we have a lot of children involved in sports. when they go to schools and have native american moss scotts it's insulting for them and their heritage it's dehumanizing. i'm always open to different points of view. but an arrow is a arrow. red devil could be an actual devil. the chief showing leadership. in massapequa they have massapequa chiefs been around since 1960 is it wrong-headed to think negatively about that? >> it's not. and we have to respect diversity of opinions. we need to hear all voices in this. we haven't. we have heard from the new york state board of regents. we have heard from some tribal leaders. you are not hearing from the communities and what logos marks and what this history means for us. >> brian: warriors, braves, as i mentioned chiefs, arrows, red devils which i don't think has anything to do with the american indians. these are going to be changing and rip up turf fields change the fronts of buildings and take

out logos. is this the best thing to do with millions of dollars of school funds. >> aren't there educational issues. safety and security? isn't the economy not performing as well as it should be? that's a lot of taxpayer dollars spent for ripping up history and tradition. >> brian: could there be a compromise where maybe logos is taken down and name changed because braves to me has nothing but positive. warriors, chiefs, arrows, that brings back the heritage of the land. >> it has to be a compromise. and there has to be a dialogue so we can bring education about native american history into the classroom. we need a day of dialogue. we need native americans coming into school districts to talk about what these stories are. but we don't have to do this where it's one sided saying hey, take this out or we are going to hold back your money and we're going to fire your school officials? let's have a conversation first. >> brian: by 2025 get it done. do you know what they thought was a big concession? you don't have to destroy old trophies and old plaques.
